臍帯血清から成人まで健康者血清 207検体につき, immuno-plate^[○!R]を用いてIgG, IgA, IgM を測定し, 測定値の分布が対数正規分布であることを検定して後, 次のような平均値, およびその上下2標準偏差の範囲を得た.1) IgG は, 臍帯血清で 1126 (504-2513) mg/dlを示し, 4-6ヵ月に 511 (236-1104) mg/dlを最低になり, 以後漸増して3-4才で成人値の70-80%に達する.成人値は, 1312 (821-2099) mg/dlであつた.2) IgA は, 臍帯血清では大部分の検体で検出されず, その後の上昇速度もこれら3者の中で最も遅く, 7-9才に至り成人値の70-80%に達する.成人値は 251 (133-475) mg/dlであつた.3) IgM は, 臍帯血清では16 (8-30) mg/dlで成人値の14%程度に存在し, その後の上昇は非常に早く, 1才-1才半で成人値の70-80%に達する.成人値は, 108 (44-264) mg/dlであつた.これらの値は, 本邦小児の正常値および範囲として臨床応用できると考えられる.

Web上では人々によって描かれた多くの絵が公開・共有されているが,それらを再利用することは難しく,あまり行われていない.もし他の人の描いた絵を簡単に再利用でき,また再利用しやすい形で公開することができれば,より多くの人が手軽に絵を活用できるようになると考えられる.そこで我々はWebブラウザ上で絵を編集でき,他の人の描いた絵から「派生」させて新しい絵を作成することのできる2種類のWebアプリケーション:「Willustrator」と「TwitPaint」を開発した.ドロー系であるWillustratorは絵を再編集/再利用しやすいという特徴を持つ.一方,ペイント系のTwitPaintはTwitterと連携した絵によるコミュニケーションを特徴とする.両ツールを長期運用し,得られた派生データや事例,知見などをもとに,相違や特徴,問題点を分析した.さらに今後のWeb上で編集/派生可能なイラストツールの課題や将来の可能性についても検討を行った.Although many illustrations are shared on the Web, most people feel difficulty to reuse them. To solve this problem, we propose a social illustration system which supports people draw illustrations in reusable format and share them in social web sites. Based on the above concept, we developed two Web applications, Willustrator and TwitPaint, which allow people to draw images derived from other illustrations and edit them easily on common Web browsers. Willustrator is a "drawing" tool which focuses on drawing illustrations in reusable format. TwitPaint is a "painting" tool which allows people to share their illustrations easily in Twitter. We have put these applications into practice for a long period, and examined various aspects based on the experiences. Finally, we discuss the future work of the social illustration system.

本研究は、愛知県に拠点を置いた建築家の活動概要を明らかにし、その評価をおこなったものである。その結果、次のことが判明した。1点目は、組織について、愛知県や名古屋市の建築組織が民間の建築組織に比べて巨大で、活動量も多く、大きな影響力を持っていたこと、2点目は、「民」において個人の建築事務所が成立する素地は1920年代になって確立されたこと、3点目は、「官」「民」ともに人材を輩出・供給する教育機関として1906年開校の名古屋高等工業学校に設けられた建築科が果たした役割が大きかったこと、4点目は、「官」の建築組織よって設計された公共性の高い建築が都市の近代化に貢献したこと、5点目は、そのような建築家の活動が全国的には報じられることが稀有であったことである。

The Engine department of the Gas-Den, predecessor of the Hino Motors, Ltd. Was reorganized as the Tokyo Automobile Industries Co. and the Hitachi Aeroplane Co. in 1937 and 1939 respectively. In 1937, the Gas-Den, begun the development work of an unusual titled engine. A realization of the Stratified charge engine was done by Mitsubishi and Toyota at about more than half century later in 1996, the Turbo compound engine was done by Wright Aeronautical Co. in 1952, and the sleeve valve engine was succeed only by the Bristol Aeroplane Co. (includes Napier Co. with same technology) in spite of almost all major aero engine manufacturers tried its development. Although the development project of Gas-Den was broken at last stage of the World War II due to urgent development work of the another high power engine, the concept and the will was great. This paper describes an out line of this unusual engine.

本研究は高専卒女性技術者のキャリア形成を「世代」と「地域」をキーワードに調査分析した.調査方法は54名のインタビューによる質的調査である.その結果,「世代」の分析では,どの世代においても,女性の就労は家族に影響をうけることは共通であったが,高専創設期から約20年の間と,平成以降の卒業の女性技術者の間には,就労に対する考え方が違い,それが彼女たちのキャリア形成の違いにつながっていることが分かった.また,「地域」の分析では,その地域の産業がどのような業界に属しているかと,地域に特化した文化・価値観が女性技術者の就労に影響することが分かった.これらの結果は,これからの高専キャリア教育モデル構築への指標となると考える.

本研究の目的は、市民の死刑に対する態度(賛成、反対)を形成する心的メカニズムを明らかにすることである。本研究の主要な成果は下記のとおりである。質問紙およびディスカッションによるデータ収集を行い、死刑賛否の理由17項目を抽出した(研究1)。また、質問紙調査を行い、個人の特性に由来する内的要因(たとえば、権威主義傾向)と社会的要因(たとえば体感治安)を考慮した死刑賛否に至るモデルを構築した(研究2)。さらに、死刑制度に関する正しい知識を与えた前後で、死刑賛否に関するモデルが異なること(研究3)、死刑賛否に影響する要因と裁判員裁判の死刑判決に影響する要因が必ずしも一致しないこと(研究4)を示した。

In the large amoeboid organism Physarum, biochemical oscillators are spatially distributed throughout the organism and their collective motion exhibits phase waves, which carry physiological signals. The basic nature of this wave behaviour is not well-understood because, to date, an important effect has been neglected, namely, the shuttle streaming of protoplasm which accompanies the biochemical rhythms. Here we study the effects of self-consistent flow on the wave behaviour of oscillatory reaction-diffusion models proposed for the Physarum plasmodium, by means of numerical simulation for the dispersion relation and weakly nonlinear analysis for derivation of the phase equation. We conclude that the flow term is able to increase the speed of phase waves (similar to elongation of wave length). We compare the theoretical consequences with real waves observed in the organism and also point out the physiological roles of these effects on control mechanisms of intracellular communication.

Education is a part of production of human life in any age or in any society. In modern civil society it is established and controlled by the historical structure of "Gemeinwesen", the category of which stretches from one extreme form of family to another extreme one of nation, and by the historical aspect of human intellect. Such structure and aspect derive from the relation of a human being to another and to the nature, and from his/her image of the world, his/her "mentalite" in our age. Through profound investigation of these points, we may recognize that modern national system of education does not stand innately the value but that Lit is a product of the social structure accompanied with the inevitable alienation and ruling, and is woven there. On such recognition, therefore, only when reform of educational system is put from the view of human history on a way of the political and social change, the theory of educational reform can link to human liberation.
