1988年9月から1989年8月までの間, 印旛沼におけるオオクチバスの産卵期, 卵形成過程および精子形成過程を組織学的に調べるとともに, LHRH-aによる催熟促進や低温処理による3倍体魚の作出を試み, 以下の結果を得た。1) 組織学的に本種の卵母細胞の発達過程は10期に分けられた。2) 組織学的に本種の精子形成の発達過程は3期に分けられた。3) 卵母細胞の発達様式は非同期発達型に属した。4) 産卵期は排卵痕の出現時間より4月下旬から6月上旬と推定された。5) 精子形成には春と秋の年2回のピークが認められた。6) 体重1kgあたり15~80μgのLHRH-aコレステロールペレットを腹腔内に投与することにより, 投与後31.5~55時間で排卵させることができた。7) 媒精後3~7分経過時に0℃の低温に受精卵を20~30分間浸漬することにより, 3倍体魚の作出が可能であった。

本稿は,基礎自治体の範囲を越えた3つの市民・住民団体が,身近な海岸林を保全する複数の住民団体を包摂したネットワークを各々形成した過程と意義を,環境運動における空間スケール戦略に着目して検討した.その結果,ネットワーク形成を主導する団体は,行政と協調的・補完的な関係ではあるが,同時に行政に対する不満を抱き,活動地域・内容の拡大や,逆に特定地域に限定した活動の集約化といった戦略によって,行政の政策に影響を与えうる独自性を発揮していた.一方で,ネットワークに参加する住民団体は,ネットワーク形成を主導する団体との利害や従前の関係性を考慮して,ネットワークへの関わり方を戦略的に選択していた.本事例からは,ローカルの内部でもさらにスケールが重層化してスケール戦略が展開される実態が浮き彫りとなり,環境運動・環境ガバナンスの研究において,ミクロレベルでのスケールの変容にも着目する重要性が示された.

The slant-shaped squish chamber recently developed by our company improves charging efficiency and raises compression ratio of its gasoline-engines. We clarified its knock suppression mechanism using rapid compression-and-expansion machine, autoignition simulation, and 3-dimensional turbulent flame propagation simulation. The results indicate the following: 1. Timing of flame acceleration is a key of knock suppression, that is, optimum timing of flame acceleration exists in the latter half of combustion, because expansion stroke suppresses the temperature rise in the end gas. This universal mechanism improves knock-limited ignition timing and compression ratio of the above engines. 2. A cause of the flame acceleration in the slant-shaped squish chamber is strengthened turbulence occurring in front of the flame and in reverse squish flow which separates at the squish lip. 3. The reverse squish flow, which is well known to be induced by the suction due to the larger expansion ratio of squish region than the other region of combustion chamber, is enhanced by the thermal expansion of burning mixture.

本稿は心身医学を専門とする医師が知っておくべき心理学について, その理論と実践を論説したものである. 米国の哲学者でフォーカシング指向心理療法を見い出したEugene Gendlinの理論より, 体験過程と追体験といった現象学的・解釈学的概念について論じ, これらの実践上のポイントをいつくか提示した. また, Gendlin理論に基づく体験過程様式およびその評定のための第三者評定尺度であるEXPスケールの概要を示し, このスケールを臨床に役立てるためのポイントを提示した. また, 今日の研究動向として, 現在開発中のEXPチェックリストおよびそれを用いたサイコセラピー・アウトカムの国際共同研究計画について言及した.

Earthquake surface rupture appears not only along the principal fault that caused the earthquake but also pre-existing other faults or folds nearby. Although surface ruptures along subsidiary structures are often small and discontinuous, given its extensive occurrence, comprehensive mapping of active faults and folds is necessary for understating strain distribution within a fault zone to evaluate fault displacement hazards. The Nagamachi-Rifu line fault zone, consisting of sub-parallel reverse faults, runs across Sendai City, and recent studies suggest that there are several active structures not shown on existing active fault maps. However, it is difficult to obtain their convincing geomorphic evidence because their surface deformation is subtle and is easily obscured by erosion and artificial modification. To reevaluate active faults and folds of the fault zone, we studied shallow geologic structure across the fault zone using a borehole dataset and conducted a geomorphological analysis using 2 m DEM. Our results indicate that the fault surface of the Nagamachi-Rifu line does not reach the surface causing flexural deformation at the surface rather than brittle deformation, as the previous studies pointed out based on seismic reflection surveys. We also found that the deformation zone of the Dainenjiyama fault is broader than previously thought. This is probably because its fault scarp retreated by hundreds of meters due to erosion. To the northwest of the Dainenjiyama fault, there is an NNE-SSW trending zone where the base of the Quaternary deposit was elevated compared to its surroundings, which may correspond to the previously estimated active anticline. The ratio of vertical displacement of the Nagamachi-Rifu line, Dainenjiyama fault, and the anticline is estimated to be 5-6: 3: 1. We could not newly find other faults or folds, including those exposed at outcrops reported in previous studies, suggesting that there are several active structures of which cumulative displacement is too small to be observed in our analysis. Nonetheless, a shallow geologic structure revealed from a borehole dataset, coupled with detailed topographic analysis, can help to locate active structures with minor surface expression and evaluate seismic hazards.

本研究は、人工知能(以下AI)が引き起こした被害に対し、一般の人々が誰にどれだけ責任があると考え、どのような責任処理(問題の解決)を望ましいと考えるか、特に日本人の判断にどのような特徴があるかを検討するものである。本研究では3つの日米比較web調査を通じ、AIに関する信念と責任判断について日本人の特徴を包括的に検討する。一つ目の調査では「AIのとらえ方」の文化差を検討する。二つ目の調査では「AIが関与した問題に対して誰をどのような根拠で人々が非難するか」の文化差を検討する。三つ目の調査では、「AIが引き起こした問題に対し人々がどのような処理を望むか」の文化差を検討する。

Nostalgia is a complex emotion comprising multiple elements such as pleasant emotions and autobiographical memories( Shimada, 1997; Barrett et al., 2010). This study systematically reviews previous research on the relation between nostalgia and music to clarify its nature and characteristics. Autobiographical memories were also focused on in the research as they were assumed to be associated with both nostalgia and music. Out of 125 papers on nostalgia and music, 17 were selected for the analysis. The results showed that many prior studies focused on the emotions and social connections of nostalgic music. Additionally, some studies used scales to measure nostalgia. In future studies, it would be useful to consider the various elements and qualities of nostalgia rather than simply determining whether nostalgia occurs.

骨転移診療では,骨関連事象(SRE)の発症予防,早期診断,治療が重要となる.骨転移に対して多職種チーム介入を行うことで,生存期間延長やADL改善が期待できるか後方視的に検討した.2020年8月~2022年7月まで当院で骨転移カンファレンス(BMB)を実施した進行がん患者75名を,SRE発症前後のBMBによるチーム介入別に2群に分け,比較検討を行った.両群ともにチーム介入後にNRSは改善したがPSの改善はなく,両群で生存期間に差は認めなかった(15.3 vs. 9.0カ月,HR: 0.74,95%CI: 0.42–1.29,p=0.29).当院BMBでは発症したSREに対しては早急にチーム介入できていた.しかし,当院BMB後のSRE発症割合は22.6%であり,今後はSRE発症予防に積極的に取り組む必要がある.

Northwest Africa (NWA) 2977 is a lunar basaltic meteorite that was found in 2005 and has been classified as an olivine cumulate gabbro. This meteorite contains a shock melt vein (SMV) induced by an intense shock event. We report herein on an in-situ analysis of phosphates in the host gabbro and the shock vein for the U–Pb dating of NWA 2977 using an ion microprobe, NanoSIMS. The majority of the analyzed phosphates, in both the SMV and host-rock, lie on a linear regression in 238U/206Pb–207Pb/206Pb–204Pb/206Pb three-dimensional space, indicating a total Pb/U isochron age of 3.15±0.12 Ga (95% confidence level), which is consistent ages determined in previous isotopic studies of NWA 2977 (Sm–Nd age of 3.10±0.05 Ga, Rb–Sr age of 3.29±0.11 Ga, and Pb–Pb baddeleyite age of 3.12±0.01 Ga), and identical to the age of the U–Pb phosphate in a paired meteorite NWA 773, 3.09±0.20 Ga, derived from our dataset. There was no clear difference in the formation age between the phosphates found in the SMV and host-rock, although the shape and size of the grains and the Raman spectra show the evidence of intense shock metamorphism. Based on these findings, the cooling rate of the phosphate was very rapid, constrained to be larger than 140 K/s.

クルマエビ漁獲量の減少に伴い,種苗生産に使用する親エビの確保が近年難しくなっている。そのため,陸上水槽で飼育した親エビを用いた採卵技術の確立が求められているが,交尾が十分に行われないことが問題となっており,その原因として水中音や飼育水の振動によるストレスの影響が疑われている。そこで,水槽内で交尾が行われる条件を明らかにするため,曝気による音と振動をはじめとして,水槽壁の衝撃吸収性,水槽サイズや底質と交尾との関係を調査した。その結果,後二者は交尾に影響を与え,アンスラサイト(破砕石炭)を底質に用いた場合には底面積が0.75 m2以上で交尾が行われた。一方,前二者は交尾に影響を及ぼさなかった。

本研究では,デザイン産学連携プロジェクトに参加した学生の経験とクリエイティブ・コンピテンシー(CC)の獲得実感との関係を明らかにするため,質問紙調査を行なった。78名の学生から回答を回収し,因子分析と相関分析を行った結果,学生のグループとの関わりである「グループでの制作に必要な情報収集」と「グループメンバーとの相互協力」,連携先との関わりである「連携先による制作へのフィードバック」「連携先からの導入の情報提供」「連携先とのコミュニケーション」の経験がCCの獲得実感と関係していた。一方で,教員との関わりはグループ・連携先との関わりと比較すると,CCの獲得実感との関係が弱かった。このことから,産学連携プロジェクトの活動において学生のCCの獲得実感を高めるためには,グループ・連携先との関わりが重要であることが示唆された。
