Pharmacists' interventions are considered to be important at the time of starting anti-HIV therapy or changing treatment in outpatient care for HIV infection. We conducted a questionnaire survey to clarify patients' assessments of pharmacists' interventions in outpatient care for HIV infection. The survey was conducted at seven AIDS treatment center hospitals in the Kinki region, and the analysis was performed on 112 patients receiving the initial treatment and 79 patients experiencing treatment change. Pharmacists' interventions were found to be helpful by 97.3% of the initial treatment patients and 96.2% of the treatment change patients; the former often found it helpful in understanding the “necessity of receiving drugs” and “failure in taking drugs and acquisition of resistance”, while the latter often found it helpful in understanding the “difference of the new drug from the previous one” and “side effects”. Pharmacists' interventions relieved anxiety in 89.3% of the initial treatment patients and 89.9% of the treatment change patients, and produced good overall effects such as “relieving anxiety as regards receiving drugs”, “facilitating communication with doctors”, and “reducing questions for doctors”. The survey results showed that pharmacists' interventions at the time of starting anti-HIV therapy or changing treatment met patients' needs and contributed to improving the quality of medical care, such as reducing patient anxiety and the burden on doctors.

歴史地震研究の成果としての地震史料集や歴史地震のカタログ(年表)がデジタル化されつつある.既にいくつかの研究プロジェクトによってデジタル化が試みられ,また実用的なデータベースとして公開されてきた.既存のデジタル資源の大部分は地震学,歴史学,情報学の協働によって実現したものである.これらを活用した歴史地震研究を紹介するとともに,今後新たに構築すべきデータベースや取り入れるべき技術や仕組みについて議論したい.

【目的】非定型抗精神病薬や抗てんかん薬を服用すると、肥満や糖尿病などの副作用を発症することが知られている。これらの副作用は、コンプライアンスの不良を招くなど、治療上の大きな問題になっている。特に、肥満は深刻な副作用であるにもかかわらず、その発症メカニズムは不明な点が多く、予防法も確立されていない。そこで、肥満病態との関連が示唆されているアディポネクチンに着目し、以下検討した。【方法】マウス3T3-L1細胞を刺激して分化させた8日目の脂肪細胞を対象とした。まず、脂肪細胞に非定型抗精神病薬であるオランザピンとアリピプラゾール、抗てんかん薬であるバルプロ酸を作用(12時間、24時間)させ、アディポネクチンの発現に及ぼす効果を検討した。その効果は、ウエスタンブロット法あるいはReal Time-PCR法で評価した。次に、脂肪細胞にタウリンを作用させ、アディポネクチンの発現が促進するか否かを検討した。その効果は、ウエスタンブロット法で評価した。【結果】オランザピンとアリピプラゾールは、アディポネクチンの発現に影響しないことを明らかにした。また、すでに報告されているように、バルプロ酸でアディポネクチンの発現が抑制されることを確認した。新たに、タウリンでアディポネクチンの分泌が一過性に促進されることを見出した。【考察】非定型抗精神病薬や抗てんかん薬を服用すると、血清中のアディポネクチン濃度が低下する可能性がある。本研究の結果から、脂肪細胞におけるアディポネクチンの発現抑制はこれらの薬物の短期作用ではなく、長期作用により引き起こされると考えている。現在、長期作用の影響を検討している。一方、タウリンでアディポネクチンの分泌が促進されたことから、非定型抗精神病薬や抗てんかん薬を服用している患者にタウリンを投与することで肥満などの副作用が予防できる可能性が示唆された。

This paper, through an examination of trials done by ""juku"" which had been symbolical in each times and of a number of assumptions toward the trials of juku from 1960's to this day, indicates some subjects to be examined from now on. In the 1960's, new types of juku had emerged remarkably, while another type of juku had been kept with tradition from the period of Edo. It had begun that new types had been attracted attention by mass-media. In the 1970's, a number of juku had developed new styles marked departure from anything that had been done before. ""Franchise"" system had been introduced to the management of juku, and a number of companies which had not related to education originally, had ventured into juku trade. Toward these tendencies, mass-media had attracted considerable attention by establishing a lot of tactics to report impressively. It had been also taken that a lot of organization related education had begun a valley of investigations about juku. From the beginning of the 1990's, some trends based on a new assumption of juku had emerged. Through recognizing the effectiveness of juku as one important educational institution, mass-media had altered their stance for approaching juku as the object of entertainment. The organizations of education had requested juku as it ought to be. The commercial trade had begun to propose a new management for juku necessary to survive between educational logic and commercial logic. Through these social experiences, juku now faces the subjects how to keep and create its originality while existing with other educational institutions meaningfully and how to balance with two logics.

本研究の目的は,権威主義的伝統主義と道徳の教科化に対する態度の関係性が,道徳教育均質化志向を媒介因子として仮定することによって,より良く説明されることを示すことだった。教育学部生と小・中学校教員を対象に質問紙調査を行い,権威主義的伝統主義尺度,道徳教育均質化志向尺度,そして道徳の教科化に対する態度について尋ねた。152 名の教育学部生(男性72 名,女性80 名)と157 名の小・中学校教員(男性69 名,女性84 名,不明4 名)のデータに基づき,HAD16.050 を用いて,権威主義的伝統主義と道徳の教科化に対する態度の関連性における道徳教育均質化志向の間接効果をBootstrap 法によって検討した。その結果,教育学部生と小・中学校教員の双方において,許容範囲内の間接効果が認められ(それぞれZ = 3.48, 95% IC [0.07, 0.21]; Z = 1.39,95% IC [0.00, 0.06]),本研究の想定した媒介モデルの妥当性が示された。

シンガポールにおける数学カリキュラムの枠組みを概観し,我が国の教育課程と対比してその特徴を考察した。シンガポールの数学カリキュラムの枠組みは,数学的問題解決を中核として情意面まで含む広い立場から数学カリキュラムを把握する点に特色があり,我が国の教育課程編成における数学方法的の観点からみた学年・学校種間の接続のあり方を再考する必要性を示唆する。

シンガポールの数学教育は,国際調査の結果が優秀であったことから注目されている。シンガポールの教育制度は,すべての子供の能力を最大限に発揮できるようにすることをねらいとされ,最近,この方向でさらに柔軟性と多様性をもとめて改革が加えられている。数学や自然科学における創造性を発揮できるよう数学・科学に重点をおいた中等学校が新設された。そこでは,学校の独自性と大学との強い連携が強調されている。
