バルク結晶成長における熱と物質の輸送現象を制御する方法の紹介をする.ざらに熱平衡に極めて近いバルク結晶成長において有効な相図が材料設計に与える効果についても紹介する.また最近話題となっている結晶成長中の熱と物質との輸送現象について,ウエープレット変換法などを利用した新しい解析手法を用いた研究結果について概観する.最後に,最近注目を浴びている原子レベルの現象とバルク結晶成長との係わりについても概観する.

従業員個々人に支払われる月例給与,賞与,年収などの報酬は何によって決まるのか.また,近年,日本企業においては,人事戦略変更や人事制度改革が盛んだが,それは結果的に報酬構造にどのような影響を及ぼしているのか.この論文では,従来ほとんど用いられることのなかった企業内人事データに基づき,この2つの問題への接近を試みた.第1の問題に関しては,年齢や勤続年数も少なからぬ影響を与えているものの,日本企業の報酬構造を決定するもっとも重要な要素は,職能資格であることを明らかにした.第2の問題については,過去数年間において,日本企業は賃金に対する年齢や勤続年数の効果を小さくし,査定や役職の効果を大きくするという方向に報酬構造を変化させてきたという証拠を提示した.とりわけ,人事制度を職能資格制度から職務等級制度や役割等級制度へと移行させた企業では,査定の効果を強めるという前提のもとで,賃金の下方硬直性を是正し,賃金と仕事とのより直接的な関連づけが目指されていることを示した.

Previous work has shown that there are a number of SUBJECTIVE uses of change predicates; in Sweetser (1996) I suggested some generalizations about which English change predicates are open to such extended interpretations, which do not involve an actual change of an individual entity (Matsumoto (1996a, b) has made interesting generalizations about Japanese change predicates). This paper analyzes another subjective use of change predicates, one where not the subject of the change predicate, but the scale or standard of comparison, is the entity which is interpreted as changing. For example, a professor who is getting older and keeps on teaching 20-year-old students might say, “The students keep getting younger every year.” In fact, not the students' age, but the professor's evaluative scale is changing as the professor ages. I propose an analysis of these usages in terms of mental space structure and figure-ground reversal.

近年,欧米を中心に海外でデジタルゲームを利用した教育が活発さを増してきており,多くの研究・実践から知見が示されている。国内でのこの分野の研究は,体系的な理解が十分に進んでいないのが現状である。本論では,これまでの先行研究で示されている知見を整理して議論し,より効果的な実践を行っていくために必要な考え方を提示する。まず,これまでのデジタルゲーム利用教育の変遷を俯瞰し,近年の研究動向を論じる。次にこれまでの先行研究から,デジタルゲームの教育利用を進めるうえで考慮すべき長所と短所として明らかになっている点を整理したうえで,教育現場での導入を効果的に進めていくために考慮すべき諸論点の検討を行う。

We developed a deterministic mathematical model to grasp transmission features of the large scale epidemic of Ebola virus disease (EVD) occurred in the West African region since March 2014. Basic reproduction number (R0) was estimated as 1.32, and the number of days between clinical onset and isolation into caretaking facilities was estimated as 5.0 days. If the days to isolation was less than 3.3 days, the epidemic was considered to be successfully controlled.

本研究の目的は,大学の研究成果として生じた知的財産権が,文部科学省文書に述べられているように,「自ら事業をせず他の事業者に対し法外な対価を要求して権利行使することを専ら業とする者等」によって利用されることを防止するため,大学がとりうる対応を明らかにすることである. 2011年に公表された米国連邦取引委員会(FTC)のレポートを中心とする文献調査に基づき,PAEと略称される,係る活動を行う者等の概念と活動内容,公益上の問題について検討した.その整理を受けて,主として知的財産管理上そして技術移転契約上の観点から,この問題に対し有効と考えられる具体的な対策について提言する.

はじめにマラソンブームである。日本全国のマラソン大会の数は小規模のものも入れると1年間に2000〜3000回あるといわれている。週1回ジョギングする日本国民の数は500万人を上回る。マラソンはもはや日本の国技といっても過言ではないだろう。しかし,走った人にはわかるが,フルマラソンは本当にきつい。有酸素運動は健康に良いという情報がある反面,マラソンレース中に心肺停止になる中高齢者のニュースも耳に入ってくる。それでもマラソン人気は静まる気配がない。ヒトはなぜそこまで走るのが好きなのか?麻酔科医・研究者・ランナーである筆者がその謎に迫る。

The discrimination of mono-syllable words (67S word-list) pronounced by a male and a female speaker was investigated in noise in 39 normal hearing subjects. The subjects listened to the test words at a constant level of 62 dB together with white or weighted noise in four S/N conditions. By processing the data with logit transformation, S/N-discrimination curves were presumed for each combination of a speech material and a noise. Regardless of the type of noise, the discrimination scores for the female voice started to decrease gradually at a S/N ratio of +10dB, and reached 10 to 20% at-10dB. For the male voice in white noise, the discrimination curve was similar to those for the female voice. On the contrary, the discrimination score for the male voice in weighted noise declined rapidly from a S/N ratio of +5dB, and went below 10% at -5dB. The discrimination curves seem to be shaped by the interrelations between the spectrum of the speech material and that of the noise.

「対等な競争条件」の名目の下に「企業利益の拡大にじゃまなルールや仕組みは徹底的に壊す,または都合のいいように変える」ことを目的として,人々の命,健康,暮らしよりも企業利益を追求するのがTPP である.特に,食料については,米国の穀物メジャー,種子を握るバイオメジャー,食品加工業,肥料・農薬・飼料産業,輸出農家などが,例外なき関税撤廃で各国の食料の生産力を削ぎ,食品の安全基準などを緩めさせる規制緩和を徹底し,食の安全を質と量の両面から崩して「食の戦争」に勝利することを目指している.TPP と国内の規制改革,国家戦略特区が表裏一体で,このまま,一握りの人々のための「今だけ,金だけ,自分だけ」の政治が暴走したら,国民の安全・安心な暮らしを守ることはできない.

The dependence of transmission loss (TL) of a double-wall structure on the characteristics of the gases between the walls was investigated. The relationship between acoustic impedance, acoustic velocity, and TL was calculated by using the transfer matrix method. The results indicated that characteristics of the internal gases have two effects on TL. One is a change in the double-wall effect, and the other is a change in the reflection coefficient. Gases that have slower acoustic velocities or lower acoustic impedance than air increase the double-wall effect. Gases that have faster acoustic velocities increase the reflection coefficient. The calculated results for TL with air, helium, and carbon dioxide agreed well with experimental measurements. Finally, The rating of sound insulation (Rw) defined by JIS A1419-1 (ISO-717) was introduced, and the relationship between Rw and the characteristics of the gases between walls was investigated. The results indicate that gas with a low molecular weight and large ratio of specific heat is more effective to increase the TL.
