NC/Nga (NC) mice are an animal model for human atopic dermatitis. We found that induction of antigen (Ag)-specific T cell response is diminished in ovalbumin (OVA)-immunized NC mice. Ability of Ag presentation in NC mouse dendritic cells (DCs) was significantly weaker than that in BALB/c and DBA/2 mouse DCs. Expression levels of MHC class II molecules and cathepsin E in NC mouse DCs were significantly lower that those in BALB/c and DBA/2 mouse DCs. These results indicate that low expression levels of MHC class II and cathepsin E might contribute to the defect in induction of Ag-specific T cells in NC mice. J. Med. This paper attempts to elucidate the coexistence of “the remaining ‘Heimat’ for children” and “‘Heimat’ defined by their ancestors and others” in the field of dwelling education by focusing on ideas on the term in E. Spranger's works. Spranger says that ‘Heimat’is characterized and linked to the soil where people live and experience on a daily basis. In short, it became clear that through the teacher's advice “third-person-defined ‘Heimat’” can exist next to the definition of ‘Heimat’children themselves have in their minds.

本稿の目的は,ジョルジュ・バタイユが思考するコミュニケーションと道徳を明確化することにある。最初に,1940年代にバタイユが思考した内的体験を素描する。次に,バタイユの思考する内的体験においては他者とのコミュニケーションが主張されているにもかかわらず,それを可能にする「超道徳」が死へ向かわせるものであることを指摘する。続いて,生と死のあいだの引き裂きの中での贈与こそがコミュニケーションと共同性を可能にすること,および,このような所作を求める道徳こそがバタイユのコミュニケーション的道徳であることを導き出す。そして,最後にこれらの議論の小括を行う。

Career guidance (educational and vocational guidance) provided by the school is in general a process of growth by which school teachers givesystematic and continual helpe to their students with their individual material and educational and vocational information, and through career exploration and career counselling.It should enable students to choose their future career and to promote their ability to adjust to their own way of life in future. In the contemporary Japanese schools, however, teachers seem to think that career guidance is just a selection of work and placement. Therefore, real career guidance does not exist in Japanese school activities.Actual situation of career guidance in our schools are such that junior high school students must accept their dramatic social birth and also select their career by their final marks in the ninth grade.

本稿は、小笠原諸島の施政権返還(1968年6月26日)にともなう初等教育の転換を考察し、米国施政権下で生まれ育った子どもたちが「日本人」に「なる」ことを余儀なくされたプロセスを明らかにすることを目的とする。1956年に米海軍は父島にラドフォード学校を設立し、米国のカリキュラムに基づいて、英語で子どもたちへの教育を行っていた。本稿では、返還の2年前からラドフォード学校で日本語の授業を担当した小笠原愛作(アイサック・ゴンザレス)と、返還と同時に東京都教員として赴任した赤間泰子へインタビューを行い、父島での初等教育が「アメリカ人」としての教育から「日本人」としての教育へ転換していったプロセスを追う。

It is known that oxidative stress is related to disease in humans and dogs. Many traditional Chinese medicines have been reported to have anti-oxidative effects, but there are no reports that they have anti-oxidative effects in dogs. In this study, we examined the anti-oxidative effects of Juzen-taiho-to, a traditional Chinese medicine, in dogs. Five healthy female beagle dogs (38–41 months of age weighing 8.6–10.7 kg) were orally administered Juzen-taiho-to at 450 mg/kg with food for 28 days. Blood samples were taken from all five dogs on days 0, 7, 14, 21, and 28. Using the blood samples, improvement of the antioxidant level as assessed by the biological antioxidant potential (BAP), reduced oxidative stress level as assessed by derivatives of reactive oxygen metabolites (d-ROMs), and improvement of blood fluidity were examined. Regarding the antioxidant level and blood fluidity, no significant difference was observed, but the oxidative stress level on days 14, 21, and 28 was significantly lower than that on day 0. Thus, Juzen-taiho-to may have anti-oxidative effects in dogs by reducing oxidative stress and be useful for oxidative stress-related diseases in dogs.

【目的】本研究の目的は,未固定遺体8股を用いて腸骨大腿靭帯の上部線維束と下部線維束を選択的に伸張することができる股関節肢位を明らかにすることである。【方法】変位計測センサーを各線維束の中央部に設置し,伸び率を測定した。また3次元動作解析装置を用いて股関節角度の測定を行った。靭帯を伸張させた際に緩みがなくなったときの変位の値を開始距離(L0)として計測を行った。上部線維束は6肢位,下部線維束は7肢位で伸び率を測定した。【結果】上部線維束の伸び率は内転20°+最大外旋,最大外旋,内転10°+最大外旋の順に大きく,最大伸展の伸び率より有意に大きな値を示した。下部線維束の伸び率は最大伸展,外旋20°+最大伸展の順に大きく,最大外転の伸び率より有意に大きな値を示した。【考察】上部線維束では最大外旋,内転位の最大外旋,下部線維束では最大伸展,外旋位の最大伸展が腸骨大腿靭帯のストレッチング肢位として有用であると考えられた。本研究結果は腸骨大腿靭帯の解剖学的走行に基づいた伸張肢位と一致した。

異常とは「集団が境界の定義のために創出する有標記号のうち、マイナスのサンクションを受け、かつ状況的に発生するもの、こと、ひと」であり、異常の成立する諸次元には、 (1) ユニット・レベル (個体内の自己防衛機制) 、 (2) 間ユニット・レベル (個体間の協働、共犯的な状況の定義) 、 (3) システム・レベル (集団アイデンティティの防衛と維持) の三つを区別することができる。<BR>異常の創出が個人および集団の自己防衛機制に関わっているなら、そのために解発される攻撃性のターゲットが何であるかによって、異常を類型化することができる。それには (1) 葛藤の当事者である (同位の) 他者、 (2) 攻撃性を転位した「身代わりの他者」、 (3) 自己自身の三類型がある。それは二つの葛藤回避型の社会、葛藤をルール化した多元的な競争社会と、社会統合を代償に葛藤を物理的に回避した離合集散型の社会とを両極にした、一元的でリジットな社会統合から多元的でルースな社会統合に至るまでの、統合度のスペクトラムを分節している。即ち、異常の類型は、集団の統合の類型と対応しており、現実の諸社会は、このスペクトラム上のいずれかの地点に分布している。だとすれば、異常の表現型をインデックスとして、それを創出する集団の特性を推論することができる。<BR>異常の一般理論は、異常を扱う諸学の間に対象と方法の一貫性を導入し、異常の通文化的分析を可能にする。

中井正一は三木清から影響を受けているが、三木の個性、独創性信仰に対しては批判的な眼差しももっていた。本稿は中井の三木への評価の肯定的眼差しと否定的眼差しの双方を、中井の全著述を通じた三木への言及から、見ていく。中井はメディウムよりミッテルを、ということをほぼ終生にわたって唱えた。著述家三木に対しては狭い意味での個性志向を示しメディウムを脱しえなかったと評する一方で、実践家三木に対してはミッテルの実践をしたと、高く評価する。両者の眼差しの矛盾を考察することで、ソクラテス流の文字に自分の言葉を残すよりも対話をというミッテルの媒介の典型の姿を、中井は三木の実践に見据えていることが分かった。
