Attosecond extreme ultraviolet and soft X-ray pulses are generated through high-order harmonic generation, a highly non-linear and non-perturbative phenomenon. Nonlinear optical effects and electron-electron interaction play an essential role in various applications of attosecond pulses. The best way to study atomic dynamics under such circumstances theoretically is direct numerical simulation of the time-dependent Schrödinger equation (TDSE). The present article introduces how to model the high-field and ultrafast phenomena on the basis of TDSE, and reviews recent theoretical findings on attosecond pulse generation and attosecond phenomena, peculiar to the time scale of electronic motion inside an atom.

Genetic Network Programming (GNP) is an evolutionary computation which represents its solutions using graph structures. Since GNP can create quite compact programs and has an implicit memory function, it has been clarified that GNP works well especially in dynamic environments. In addition, a study on creating trading rules on stock markets using GNP with Importance Index (GNP-IMX) has been done. IMX is a new element which is a criterion for decision making. In this paper, we combined GNP-IMX with Actor-Critic (GNP-IMX&AC) and create trading rules on stock markets. Evolution-based methods evolve their programs after enough period of time because they must calculate fitness values, however reinforcement learning can change programs during the period, therefore the trading rules can be created efficiently. In the simulation, the proposed method is trained using the stock prices of 10 brands in 2002 and 2003. Then the generalization ability is tested using the stock prices in 2004. The simulation results show that the proposed method can obtain larger profits than GNP-IMX without AC and Buy&Hold.

スキンケア化粧品の基本的な機能は皮膚の保湿である。皮膚の乾燥が肌荒れだけではなく,皮膚の老化の一因となっていることは,われわれは経験的に知っている。角層には水分を保つ機構が存在するが,その詳細が解明され始めたのは,20世紀の半ばになってからであった。市場の化粧品のコンセプトはこの皮膚科学の発展を商品に応用したものが多い。そのため,過去においては,天然保湿因子(NMF)と皮脂を模して,水分と保湿剤,油脂を含有する製剤がスキンケア商品として用いられてきた。皮膚科学の発展に伴い,セラミド,NMFを配合した製品,顆粒層に存在するタイトジャンクションに注目した素材を配合した製品,角層細胞の成熟に注目した製品が開発され,上市されてきた。さらに,過去には死んで剥がれ落ちると考えられていた角層が,スキンケア行為によって濡れてゆっくりと乾くことにより,バリア機能が向上し,皮膚の状態が健全に保たれることも報告された。本稿では,保湿にかかわる皮膚科学の進歩と関連したスキンケアコンセプトの変化について歴史的な変化も含めて述べる。

口腔乾燥症状を訴える義歯装着患者の問題点は,義歯の維持力が低下することである。そこで,口腔乾燥症の対症療法に用いられる口腔保湿剤の種類や物性の違いが,義歯の維持力に与える影響を明らかにすることを目的とした。被験試料は口腔保湿剤 21 種類(スプレー,リキッド,ジェルタイプ)と,対照として人工唾液 1 種類,唾液類似液 3 種類,義歯安定剤 2 種類(クリームタイプ)を用いた。曳糸性:NEVA METER<SUP> ®</SUP>を用いて各試料の曳糸性を求めた。粘度:ブルックフィールド型回転粘度計を用いて各試料の粘度測定を行った。維持力:上顎模型と実験用床との間に試料を介在させて義歯の中央に付与したリングを 0.5 N/sec でばねばかりで牽引し測定した。粘度はジェル(1.5×10<SUP>5 </SUP>mPa・s)が他の試料に比べ,有意に大きな(p<0.05)値となった。維持力は,リキッド(14.4 N)はスプレー(3.6 N)よりやや大きく(p<0.05)なり,ジェル(30.1 N)ではさらに大きく(p<0.05),義歯安定剤(36.0 N)と同等であった。維持力と粘度(対数)は有意に正の相関を示した(r=0.98,p<0.01)。今回の結果より,維持力は粘度に関係があり,粘度の大きい口腔保湿剤は義歯安定剤と同等の維持力を発揮することが明らかになった。

アトピー性皮膚炎 (atopic dermatitis : AD) 治療には適切なスキンケア (清潔と保湿) が必要であるが, 入浴方法・石けん使用の是非・保湿剤の塗り方などについて具体的な方法を示すエビデンスは乏しい. 今回われわれは国内外のアトピー性皮膚炎ガイドラインおよび日本小児アレルギー学会員を対象としたアトピー性皮膚炎診療実態調査 (以下AD実態調査) をもとに, 現時点で妥当と考えられる適切なスキンケアについて検討したところ, 以下の4点となった. ①1日1回以上の入浴, ②適切な方法での石けんの使用, ③1日2回以上の保湿剤の確実な塗布, ④抗炎症薬と保湿剤の塗布順序に関しては患者の皮膚状態や塗りやすさなど考え, 続けやすい方法を指導する, である. 今後のわが国におけるエビデンスの蓄積が期待される.

角層の乾燥は肌荒れを引き起こす。角層保湿はスキンケア化粧品にとって重要な機能である。角層保湿においては,角層に水を保持することと,皮膚からの水の揮散を防ぐことが重要である。スキンケア基剤の物理化学的な性質はこれらと密接に関係しており,適切な基剤設計を行うことで保湿作用を高めることができる。保湿剤は角層保湿において重要な役割をもっている。保湿剤は角層に貯留されることで保湿機能が高まることから,角層への浸透性を高めるためには,保湿剤の角層への分配を高める成分を水相に配合する手法が有効である。また,αゲル基剤は少量の適用でも優れた角層保湿効果を示す優れた基剤である。炭化水素油分のような疎水的な成分で肌を閉塞すると,皮膚からの水分蒸散が妨げられて肌表面に水分を保持することができる。閉塞効果は分子量の高い油分で高まるが,基剤を肌上に均一に展開することが重要である。さらに,保湿剤の浸透と水分のオクルージョン効果を両立した基剤としてαゲル基剤の超微細エマルションについて紹介する。これらのコンベンショナルな手法に加えて,角層細胞間脂質の修復に関する新たな知見について議論する。

ステロイド外用剤と保湿剤併用時の塗布順序と効果や副作用の関係については報告がほとんどないことから,皮膚科医や薬剤師は塗布順序を経験的に指示している.ステロイドの軟膏と保湿剤の併用について,ヘアレスラットを用いて塗布順序の副作用への影響を調べた.副作用の指標として,体重,脾臓重量,副腎重量および皮膚の厚さを調べた.混合した製剤も塗布順序と比較した.ステロイド外用剤はクロベタゾールプロピオン酸エステル軟膏を,保湿剤はヘパリン類似物質含有製剤および尿素製剤を選択した.その結果,ステロイド外用剤と保湿剤の併用では塗布順序は副作用に影響しないことが示された.また,混合後に塗布しても重ねて塗るのと差は認められなかった.
1 0 0 0 IR タヌキの歯数異常
Deficiencies and surplus eruptions in the teeth of raccoon-dogs were examined using 340 specimens collected mainly from three localities in western Japan. Abnormalities in the dentition occurred in 26% of 308 perfect skulls. On the upper jaw, 9 examples of pm-1 deficiencies on both sides occurred, 8 on left side alone and 4 on right side alone among 317 specimens. There were no significant differences between the sexes, but differences did exist among localities. There were i-1, i-2, i-3, pm-2 and m-2 deficiencies, and i-surplus eruptions in some specimens. On the lower jaw, m-3 deficiencies occurred more frequently. Incidences of deficiencies on both sides, left and right side alone were 19, 19 and 15 respectively among 314 specimens. No significant difference was found between sexes and among localities. Other deficiencies were observed on i, pm-1, pm-2, pm-3 and pm-4. One surplus eruption occurred between c and pm-1. In one specimen, pm-4 duplications in the buccolingual direction were observed on both sides.
1 0 0 0 子育て支援プロダクト創出のための科学的エビデンスの構築
平成29年度の研究実績の概要は以下の通りである。(1)揺動刺激と音刺激が児に及ぼす鎮静効果の検証前年度までに、被験児を、月齢3~4ヶ月、5~6ヶ月および7~8ヶ月の3区分に分け、各区分最低6名を目標に実験を行ってきた。本年度は前年度までに遂行できなかった月齢5~6ヶ月の被験児に対する実験を行い、すべての実験を完了した。実験は、九州大学大学院芸術工学研究院内の実験室で、気温・湿度などを適切に設定管理して行った。実験条件は、被験児1名につき、揺動3条件(母親の抱っこ・機械的な単振動・揺れ無し)×音2条件(ブラウンノイズ・音無し)の計6条件とした。児が1時間以上覚醒しており、且つ授乳後1時間以内のときにぐずりだしたときに4分間刺激を与え、児の鎮静効果を記録した。具体的な測定項目は、児の表情・泣き声(ビデオ映像)および児と母親の心電図とした。これらのデータを分析することにより、各条件における児の鎮静効果・児と母親のストレス反応を明らかにしていく。(2)子育てをサポートするためのプロダクトに必要なデザイン要件のまとめ前年度までに、児の輸送反応(母に抱かれて移動するときに鎮静する反応)をプロダクトに活かせる可能性を見出した。このことついて、母に抱かれて移動するときに児が感じる加速度データを得たところ、鉛直方向運動が支配的であることが知られ、このデータを基にした児の鎮静化に有効なプロダクトの設計・試作を行った。

1 0 0 0 島嶼経済の自立をめぐる諸問題
Issues of self-reliant development or ownership have been discussed ever since developing countries gained their political independence. The issues have been particularly keen in small, isolated island economies where resource bases are extremely limited. The paper examines key approaches to the issues such as balance of payments, industrial structure and environmental sustainability.<br>The paper attempts to provide an answer to small islands' seemingly eternal questions: how can we achieve economic self-reliance? Or more specifically, how we can achieve sustainable development without relying heavily on external aid? Every conscientious planner now recognizes that the past process of economic development through deepening dependency on external aid is not only unsustainable in the long run, but also the process is inconsistent with the strategy of self-reliance.<br>A diversified development model has been proposed for Okinawa. The model is intended to make full use of island's strategic locatio natural and hum an resources capacity and capability, and aspirations. It would compete in global market because it is designed to harness island's comparative advantages in tourism through promoting tourism-related “niche” industries.

We report a case of the Far-Out Syndrome that occurred in a female patient with isthemic spondylolisthesis and a 30% slip.<br>This syndrome was described as alar transverse process impingment of the L5 spinal nerve by Wiltse in 1984. The patient's chief complaint was bilateral leg pain and we were not able to visualize an abnormal lesion in the spinal canal with myelography, CTM or MRI. At surgery, it was necessary for L5 spinal nerve decompression to be carried out far enough laterally. L5 spinal root block is a important diagnostic tool in this syndrome.
