本研究の目的は郡上市の107集落について中山間地域での居住地としての持続可能性の検討を試みるものである。人口統計、アクセシビリティ、土地利用、財政のデータを用いた。107集落についてクラスター分析を行った結果、“中心市街地区”、“住宅団地区”、“中心市街地周辺地区”、“居住基盤良好地区”、“多雪地区”、“土砂災害危険地区”、“過疎地区”の7つに分類された。今後は雇用の場としての産業振興と地域活動の場という視点からも拠点の設定を重視する予定である。

<B>【目的】</B>三重県西部の伊賀地域で営まれている秋まつりの調査から、この地域の発酵の文化について特徴を明らかにすることを目的とした。<BR><BR><B>【結果】</B>伊賀地域には3つの街道が通っており、その街道沿いには現在、140を超える神社が登録されている。本研究で調査を行った中に、春日神社の「なすびまつり」、佐々神社の「このしろまつり」、菅原神社の「上野天神祭」、大村神社の「秋の例祭」などの特徴的なまつりが存在することが分かり、この中でも「このしろまつり」「上野天神祭」からこの地域の発酵の文化を見出すことができた。「このしろまつり」はこのしろ(コハダ)と飯を樽に漬けこんで発酵させてなれ寿司にし、神饌として供える文化がある。さらに、このしろと一緒に漬けこんだ飯も「アイサノメシ」という名称で神饌とする特徴があることが分かった。「上野天神祭」は別名「甘酒まつり」とも言われ、甘酒を見物客や招待客にふるまうほか、神饌としても供える特徴がある。甘酒は「だんご鉢」と呼ばれる底に擂鉢状の溝が施された陶器製の鉢を用いて作られ、まつりに招待する「呼び使い」のためには欠かせないものであり、以前は各家庭で作られていたことが調査で明らかになった。<BR><BR><B>【考察】</B>伊賀地域のまつりにおいて神饌として供える酒はすべて地酒であり、さらになれ寿司や甘酒といった米を発酵させてつくる神饌も加わり、これらはまつりに欠かせないものとして現在まで受け継がれていることが分かった。伊賀地域は古来より米どころとして知られており、良質な米が収穫されること、また紀伊山脈と伊賀盆地に位置することとで山麓からの清水が豊富であったこと、また奈良や京都と隣接していることから、こうした発酵の文化が発達したと考えられた。

近年,様々な分野で注目されているソーシャル・キャピタルの概念に注目し,地域特性に配慮した質問紙を用いて量的な調査を行なうことで,中山間地域のソーシャル・キャピタルを探究した。質問紙の項目は,個人の属性10項目,ソーシャル・キャピタルに関連する36項目から構成されている。この質問紙を中山間地域と都市部に居住する40歳以上の男女682名(中山間地域342名,都市部340名)に配布し,記入漏れや記入ミスがない427名が分析の対象となった。分析の結果,ソーシャル・キャピタルに関連する36項目のうち,29項目で中山間地域が有意に高い値を示した。また,因子分析の結果,先行研究で示された因子構造は再現されず,都市部では「近所関係の質」「地域への愛着」「信頼感」「自然との共生」の4因子が抽出された。中山間地域においては,顔の見える親密な人間関係があることが地縁活動への参加を促していると推測され,その背景には自然との相互作用によって形成された中山間地域特有の生活様式があると考えられた。また,中山間地域のソーシャル・キャピタルが,親密性が高い性質を持っているという本研究結果は先行研究を支持するものであった。中山間地域においては,自然環境要因がソーシャル・キャピタルに関連している可能性があると推測された。

Yamanakako village promotes community-based town development and regional planning. This study aims to comprehensively grasp the historical features of Nagaike district, Yamanakako village, whether lost or remaining, by focusing on the changes of roads and regional organization, especially Dozoku organization (groups of families joined by blood or close social relationships). Additionally, we clarify Nagaike’s contemporary features. The literature survey, interviews with residents, and analysis of cadastral maps revealed that Nagaike centered around the Muranaka-no-michi road, which led to the neighboring village, and that a radial path network developed because of land ownership in the mountain area. Many of the paths in the mountain area were lost because of changes of livelihood during modernization, but the form of Muranaka-no-michi in the residential area was maintained. Most residences dating to the early Meiji era, including the head houses, remain along Muranaka-no-michi, and the traditional Dondo-yaki event is still held at the Doso-jin, a roadside deity that marks the boundary of the residential area. While many of the historical features related to livelihood were lost, those that are rooted in the culture of the residential area are maintained.

多くの農村地域のコミュニティでは,持続可能なコミュニティに向けた取り組みへの一歩が踏み出せない地域住民とそれを後押ししようとする行政の在り方の模索が続いている.本研究では,地域の活性化に向けた初動期において,地域や個人がどのような課題に直面し,またそれをどのように乗り越えていったか,グラウンデッド・セオリー・アプローチ(GTA)と複線経路・倒至性アプローチ(TEA)を活用して,その成長プロセスを記述した.具体的には,住民と行政が協働して住民ボランティアによる自治会輸送活動を行うプロジェクトを立ち上げ,2ヵ年に渡り交通の視点から地域活性化に取り組んだ事例を取り上げ,複数回にわたる住民代表者と行政職員との討議録をもとに分析を行った.GTAの分析では,2回の社会実験を通じて,1)行政からの提案,2)組織の課題の浮上,3)将来に向けた地域ビジョンの作成のように,循環型の成長プロセスが存在することが確認できた.さらにTEAの分析では,同様の成長プロセスの過程においても,個人によって異なる社会的ガイドや方向付けが存在することが確認された.

This paper analyzed the behavior of sea breeze (hereafter SB) penetration to urban area in Kanto. In order to analyze SB penetration, we proposed a new method for SB-front detection using very high-resolution-geostationary satellite images, or MTSAT-2 Rapid Scan, with 1 km-spatial and 5 min.-temporal resolution. From the images, the detailed behaviors of SB were successfully visualized. For the selected SB events, the penetrations to in-land from Tokyo bay and Sagami bay were discussed using the point data of AMeDAS and Atmospheric Environmental Regional Observation System (AEROS), and also a result from the meso-scale simulation, where the important urban effects were parameterized (e.g., actual aero-thermodynamic parameters, anthropogenic heat and vapor emission). Along Tokyo-Saitama line, SB stagnation occurred in every sea breeze event. The observed higher air temperature and convergence resulted in increased vertical mixing, leading to SB stagnation.

電動車両用モータの信頼性向上を目的として,直接温度の計測が困難な,磁石温度の推定技術を開発している.本報告では,熱解析モデルのリアルタイム計算に基づく磁石温度推定技術,熱解析モデルに対するオブザーバ補償の有効性,及び磁石温度推定に適したオブザーバの設計方法について報告する.

The original edition of Jean-Jacques Rousseau’s Émile, published in duodecimo by Duchesne and preserved in the Nagoya University Library, does not contain leaf P, which should be placed at the end of the third volume, and leaf V, which should be placed at the end of the fourth volume. These sheets were inserted at the last moment of printing. It was the errata and the privillège. These sheets are missing in the copy annotated by Rousseau himself, now preserved in the Geneva Library. In addition, some manual inscriptions found in the copy held by Nagoya University suggest that this copy was offered to Alfred-Auguste Cuvillier- Fleury(1802-87) by Louis Bonaparte, Earl of Saint-Leu(1778-1846), father of Napoleon III, in 1820 in Florence, where Cuvillier-Fleury worked as a secretary for Earl of Saint-Leu.

Jean-Jacques Rousseau’s Émile is preserved in three original editions of two affiliations: the Paris editions published in octavo and in duodecimo by Nicolas-Bonaventure Duchesne (1712-65)and the Amsterdam edition published in octavo by Jean Néaulme(1697-1780) in 1762. That same year, Duschesne published second and third editions in two formats. In addition, we have many pirate editions and we now distinguish in total 19 editions of 14 affiliations of Émile with publication date 1762. In this article in Japanese we will present precise points to distinguish the original editions from the others, according to the studies executed by the Western Rousseauists, published in French and in English. Although we do not present any new discoveries, this is a worthwhile pursuit given that Japanese Rousseauists have never discussed this subject so far.

Energy crisis has been the most vital problem for all over the world. Atomic energy is expected to be one of the most hopeful solutions for the present energy crisis.This article describes the features of atomic energy and includes world history and present status of 1) power reactors which are light water reactor, gas cooled reactor, heavy water reactor and fast breeder reactor. 2) commercial nuclear power plants of which 124 power plants are in operation as of the end of 1972. 3) multipurpose uses of atomic energy which contains some examples such as atomic energy uses to chemical process heat, breeding of fishes and prawn, district heating, desalination, steel making and hydrogen energy utilizing system. 4) controlled thermonuclear fusion which is expected to be an ultimate energy source for mankind. 5) future trend of the development of atomic energy ; the way to the controlled thermo nuclear fusion reactor.

Pneumatic artificial muscles have many advantages. They have high force mass ratio, high compliance and simple structures. Especially, the flexibility contributes to compose novel mechanisms. The flexibility of pneumatic artificial muscles releases us from the spatially strict design required for rigid mechanical elements: it could actualize compact mechanisms made of a fewer parts. Our research group developed a thin McKibben actuator. The thin McKibben actuators is more flexible than conventional McKibben actuators. Authors succeeded in manufacturing novel soft mechanisms that are made of only braided artificial muscles. We aim to establish a design method for these novel mechanisms. We already have fabricated a cylindrical mechanism made of helical muscles. In this paper, we report a geometric model for the cylindrical mechanism. We focus on only deformation of a side surface in the coordinate system of muscles to simulate the movements of the cylindrical mechanism. The movement was verified by an experiment, and besides, it was simulated successfully in the geometric model that was created. The deformation of height and radius directions changed according to muscles alignment.
