長期気候緩和シナリオは大規模な温室効果ガス削減策の評価などで極めて重要な役割を果たしているが,その妥当性や実現可能性についてはこれまで評価されていない.本研究は,シナリオの各指標の変化率及び変化速度の分布に着目して,歴史的推移と対比させながら評価する手法を提示し,エネルギー強度,炭素強度,電化率の3指標について,同手法を適用した.エネルギー強度は過去の経験の範囲内であったが,電化率と炭素強度は気候制約の厳しい将来シナリオで過去の経験の範囲から外れる部分が4~5割あった.

This paper reports detection threshold of human hairy skin when a vibration is presented on a skin via the hair human has. This vibration is provided from a tip of an instrument which travels horizontally against the human skin also the tip holds the hair. And the stimulation point is the middle of hair on the back of human finger, then the instrument does not contact with the surface of the skin directly. Presented stimulations have any frequency and amplitude, we measured threshold this vibration is detected. After some tentative experiments with three persons, the detection thresholds of human hairy skin represent a curve similar to the threshold curve of Patinian. This result has a suggestion that the stimulation infects Patinian capsule.

In Japan, there are about 250 Yakushi Buddha (i.e., Buddha of Healing) statues in Buddhist temples. They are listed as Important Cultural Properties and 14 of them are National Treasures. Belief in Yakushi Buddha was especially prevalent from the 7th to the 13th centuries in Japan. The oldest wooden Yakushi Buddha statue is in Horin-ji Temple in Nara. Among the approximately 250 Yakushi Buddha statues, about 200 have medicinal containers-or rarely, a bowl-in the palm of the left hand. However, these medicinal containers are wooden blocks. Very recently, it was found that the Yakushi Buddha statue in the Suho-Kokubun-ji Temple in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan has a medicinal container in the palm of his left hand, in which an offering (i.e., 220 g of materials) was found. The date on the reverse side of the lid places the offering at October 12, 1699. The offering is composed of five cereals (rice, barley, wheat, soybean and azuki bean), five medicinal plants (Acori graminei, Acori calami, Ginseng, Flos caryophylli and Lignum santali albi) and six minerals (rock crystals, purple and blue lead glass, CaCO3 particles, and silver and golden foils). Recently, the pharmacy educational program was extended from four to six years in order to meet clinical pharmacy requirements for patients. From studying the Buddha of Healing and its medicinal container described above, the author suggests that, in addition to pharmaceutical bioscience, philosophical concept be studied as part of the history of pharmacy in the future. 目的:早期離職につながる新人栄養士の業務遂行の思いを探索することを目的とした。方法:就労3カ月の栄養士10名(男性1名・女性9名)を対象に半構造化インタビューガイドに基づいてインタビューを行った.面接内容を録音したテープから逐語録を作成し,得られたデータについて質的記述的研究を行った.結果:新人栄養士の業務遂行に関する思いは5つのカテゴリーと18のサブカテゴリーが抽出された.『うまく出来ないことに対する不安』には調理技術の未熟さや時間に対する不安,指導者との感覚の違いからくる自信喪失等5つのサブカテゴリーが含まれていた.『業務内容に対する戸惑い』には資格を活かすことのできないジレンマや気持ちのコントロールの方法等3つのサブカテゴリーが含まれていた.『指導者に対する思い』には上司・先輩との人間関係や職場の栄養士の生き方からの学び等4つのサブカテゴリーが含まれていた.『仕事に対する喜び』には褒められ出来るようになったこと等3つのサブカテゴリーが含まれていた.『将来に対する希望』には実務経験の継続の意志や目指す栄養士像等3つのサブカテゴリーが含まれていた.結論:新人栄養士は専門職者としてうまく出来ないことに対する不安や栄養士としての資格を活かすことのできないジレンマをかかえていた.一方,患者・利用者や上司・先輩との人間関係を意識するとともに現状を受け入れながら,将来への希望を抱いていた.新人栄養士の早期離職を防ぐためには職場での指導者による指導のあり方を含めた栄養士の段階的・系統的な研修が重要であると示唆された.

筆者は, ベクトルポテンシャル発生器により発生させたゲイジ場(ベクトルポテンシャル)は, 皮膚の電気伝導, 脈波, 皮膚表面温度等への生理学的影響を与える。すなわち、自律神経に影響を与えることを実験により導き出した。また、液体のNMR半値幅, 粘性係数にも影響を与えることを導き出した。一方, 人体中には電流があるから人体からもベクトルポテンシャルが放出される。これは生体が他の生体に生理学的影響を与える可能性を示唆しているであろう。今回はこれらのことにつき説明を加え将来を展望する。

The paper describes the critical Reynolds number of soccer balls as a function of the total groove volume on the ball surface. In this study, the aerodynamic drag and separation point of 6 soccer balls with different panel orientations were measured in a wind tunnel. Moreover, the total volume of grooves on the ball’s surface was measured by One shot 3D measuring machine. It was found that the drag coefficient in the supercritical region and the critical Reynolds number depend on the design of the ball surface (shape, number of panels, surface roughness). A negative correlation exists between the total groove volume on the surface and the critical Reynolds number. When the total groove volume is large, the drag in the supercritical region increases. The position of the separation point does not change in the subcritical and supercritical regions even if the orientation of the panel is changed. However, when the groove width is wider, the panel orientation dependence becomes significant in the supercritical region. In the transition region, the position of the separation point differs depending on the panel's orientation.

30代と40代それぞれで年齢幅の近い女性を対象に,見た目年齢と実年齢,肌状態,顔形状,生体指標,肌印象・魅力印象との関連について検討した。その結果,30~33歳,あるいは46~49歳のわずか4歳の年齢幅でも見た目年齢には約20歳の差があることや,目じりのしわ,しみ,たるみが見た目年齢に影響することが示された。年代別では,40代で肌の柔軟性や皮脂量との関連もみられた。また,見た目年齢と顔の形状や生体指標との関連はみられなかったが,肌印象・魅力印象とは強く関連していた。これらの結果から,30代や40代女性の見た目年齢には個人差があり,顔形状よりも肌状態が強く影響していることや,その影響度にも年代差があることが示唆された。

For larger blood vessels, such as cervical arteries and aortic arteries, 4D-Flow imaging with high signal to noise ratio (SNR) can be used to collect accurate measurements. When the SNR is sufficient and the voxel size is less than 30% of the vessel diameter, the error rate for the cross-sectional average flow velocity obtained by 4D-Flow is less than 10%. When the SNR is sufficient and the voxel size is less than 10% of the vessel diameter, error rate for the maximum flow velocity is also less than 10%. However, for smaller vessels, such as intracranial arteries, 4D-Flow imaging underestimates the flow velocities owing to the low spatial resolution or low SNR. Meanwhile, because of the partial volume phenomenon, the velocity of each voxel is underestimated within the vessel and overestimated near the vessel wall. Thus, the spatial resolution affects the velocity profile in the blood vessels. Higher spatial resolution leads to more accurate velocity profile and more accurate wall shear stress (WSS). However, it should be noted that the WSS determined by 4D-Flow is smaller compared to the true value. We can obtain the 3D velocity vector fields, maximum flow velocity, spatially averaged flow velocity, volume flow rate, streamlines, pathlines, streak lines, and WSS and its derivatives using a flow analysis software. The spatial resolution and SNR of 4D-Flow affects the accuracy of each voxel, velocity profile in blood vessels, and ultimately, the calculated WSS. However, there is a trade-off between the spatial resolution and SNR and hence there are limitations to increase the spatial resolution. Artificial intelligence (AI) may be able to interpolate lower spatial resolution data, and therefore, address this problem in the future. AI may also help us to obtain flow related biomarkers like WSS and its derivatives more easily and quickly in clinical practice. Development of the magnetic resonance fluid dynamics is ongoing and can provide a promising solution.

SNSは,携帯端末などを通して短いテキストを気軽にインターネット上に投稿することができ, 様々なユーザとコミュニケーションをとることを可能としている.しかし, 短いテキストによるコミュニケーションでは,ユーザの内面や心情を読み取ることが難しく, 相互の認識に差異が生じてしまう可能性がある.本研究は,単語のベクトル化手法の一つであるWord2vecを使用し, SNSの一つであるTwitterにおける大量の発言を学習することにより感情推定を行う手法を提案する.感情表現にはPlutchikが定めた8つの感情を使用する.実験では, Twitter上の発言に本手法を適用し,被験者に評価してもらった。

We discussed symmetry from the viewpoint of form and structure of knowledge representation. First we proposed a hypothesis that explains why nonhuman animals do not exhibit symmetry while humans exhibit symmetry. According to the proposed hypothesis, non-human animals form procedural knowledge where an object (the comparison item) and an action are tightly coupled by knowledge compilation through repetitive training. It prevents them from recognizing the object separate from the action so that non-human animals do not recognize the object as the sample stimulus of the inverted task. Therefore the animal does not exhibit symmetry. In contrast, humans make use of verbal description of the training situation. It prompts them to separate the action and the objects, so that the object is easily recognized as the sample of the inverted task. Second we discussed the problem of similarity in reasoning. Many studies showing human symmetric reasoning presume that the truth value of a proposition is either true or false. However we do not always treat a proposition in such a dichotomous way. In such cases, similarity plays important roles. It is well known that similarity is asymmetric and that similarity is computed based on structured representation. We pointed that these two properties of similarity are crucial for understanding human symmetric as well as asymmetric reasoning.

D-Amino acids, which are present in small amounts in living organisms, are responsible for a variety of physiological functions. Some bioactive/biomolecular peptides also contain D-amino acids in their sequences; such peptides express different functions than peptides composed only of L-form amino acids. Among the 20 amino acids that make up proteins, threonine (Thr) and isoleucine (Ile) have two chiral carbons and thus have two enantiomers and diastereomers. These stereoisomers have been previously analyzed through high-performance liquid chromatography using chiral columns or chiral resolution labeling reagents. However, the separation and identification of these stereoisomers are highly laborious and complicated. Herein, we propose an analytical method for the separation and identification of Ile stereoisomers through liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry using an original chiral resolution labeling reagent, 1-fluoro-2,4-dinitrophenyl-5-L-valine-N,N-dimethylethylenediamine-amide (L-FDVDA) and a PBr column packed with pentabromobenzyl-modified silica gel. Twenty DL-amino acids including Thr stereoisomers (41 amino acids including glycine) were separated and identified using C18 column. Ile stereoisomers could be separated using not a C18 column but a PBr column. Additionally, we showed that peptides containing Thr and Ile stereoisomers can be accurately detected through labeling with L-FDVDA.

The "Yotsugana" Phonemic System disappeared from the Kyoto and East Japanese dialects in the late 17th century, yet the system has remained in the Kyushu dialect. At the present time, the "Yotsugana" Phonemic System is distributed in certain districts in Kyushu, and only old aged persons now use this system. These districts are Saga Prefecture, the southern part of Fukuoka Prefecture, Hita and Kusu counties of Oita Prefecture, the central and southern parts of Miyazaki Prefecture, and Satsuma Peninsula and Osumi Peninsula of Kagoshima Prefecture. The merging process of "Yotsugana" Phonemic System varies according to the phonetic environment. (1) First, the distinction between /di/;/zi/ disappears , and then the distinction between /du/;/zu/ disappears. (2) The medial affricate consonant changes into a fricative, and the initial affricate consonant remains.
