法律文の言語モデルを示し、それにより法律文が持つ言語情報と論理情報の両方を共に記述する表現枠組を述べる。さらに、それらを法律文の計算機処理に応用する。法律文には構文的、意味的に制限されて用いられる語や句が多く存在する。これらを考慮すれば法律文に関する制限言語を定義することが可能となる。法律は対象や事象の間の関連を明確に定義するものであるから、法律文の意味表現のベースとして論理表現を採用する。これらより、法律文の表現枠組は、言語情報と論理情報の両方を表現できるものでなければならない。ここで述べる素性論理構造表現はそれらの要求を満たすものである。この表現枠組は、法律の知識ベースを構築し、判例の推論を機械化することへの応用をも意図したものである。

Circassians(Cerkes) were forced to migrate to Anatolia in the mid-19th century, when Russia completed its military conquest of the North Caucasus. The Uzunyayla plateau (Kayseri, Turkey) is one of the principal locations of refugee re-settlement. Circassians there tend to compete for prestige, partly due to contradictions between status differences among groups in the past and the socioeconomic standing of these groups in the present. Among Circassians in Uzunyayla, contested memories are produced along the line dividing two social groups: descendants of nobles and descendants of slaves. Those families who are of noble descent eagerly tell a version of history that enhances their own honour. The ways in which nobles employ a discourse of memory (hatira/hatzr) to control the production of historic knowledge can be termed the "politics of memory." This politics serves by not letting slave descendants give their own account of history freely. On the other hand, descendants of slaves produce favourable meanings by appropriating the discourse of those of noble descent as their own. They narrate counter-memories that provide them with a positive experience and a claim to social legitimacy. The memory politics of nobles is skilfully undermined. This may be seen as an exemplary case of the "practice of memory," an idea discussed by de Certeau.

In this letter, we propose a new blind source separation method, independent low-rank matrix analysis based on generalized Kullback-Leibler divergence. This method assumes a time-frequency-varying complex Poisson distribution as the source generative model, which yields convex optimization in the spectrogram estimation. The experimental evaluation confirms the proposed method's efficacy.

This study examined the determinants of trust in artificial intelligence (AI) in the area of asset management. Many studies of risk perception have found that value similarity determines trust in risk managers. Some studies have demonstrated that value similarity also influences trust in AI. AI is currently employed in a diverse range of domains, including asset management. However, little is known about the factors that influence trust in asset management-related AI. We developed an investment game and examined whether shared investing strategy with an AI advisor increased the participants’ trust in the AI. In this study, questionnaire data were analyzed (n=101), and it was revealed that shared investing strategy had no significant effect on the participants’ trust in AI. In addition, it had no effect on behavioral trust. Perceived ability had significantly positive effects on both subjective and behavioral trust. This paper also discusses the empirical implications of the findings.

盛山和夫『社会学の方法的立場』ではM・ウェーバーやN・ルーマンらの方法論が批判的に再検討されているが,我々の考えでは,これらは彼らへの批判というより,その理論と方法の再記述にあたる.例えばウェーバーの方法は,近年の英語圏や独語圏での研究が示すように,主にJ・フォン・クリースの統計学的で分析哲学的な思考にもとづくもので,経験的な探究では『理念型』や『法則論的知識』は因果分析での反事実的条件としても使われている.彼の『価値-解釈』はベイズ統計学での事前分布と機能的に等価であり,有名な『価値自由』論が意味しているのは,内部観察である社会科学にとって不可避な,観察の理論負荷性である.

本論文では,カルマンフィルタによる小型UAVの位置推定について扱う.UAVにカメラを搭載する場合,機体の振動によりカメラ画像のブレが生じ,推定値の発散につながる.そこで,本論文では,画像情報の信頼度を動的に評価することでフィルタゲインの改良を行い,より画像ブレに頑健な推定アルゴリズムを提案する.そして,制御実験により,提案アルゴリズムの有効性を実証する.
