Japanese rural society has rapidly changed in many aspects since World War Ⅱ. Technological change of agriculture is one of the main factors in this social change.<br> In Japan, agricultural machinery manufacturers have had a significant impact on mechanization in rice cropping. Agricultural machinery salesmen promote the diffusion of agricultural machinery and they are focused on in this study. Intentions and behaviors of salesmen in their sales activities are described and analyzed from the perspective of "promoters of the diffusion of agricultural mechanization technology", "manufacturer employee", and "farmers in the local society". Fieldwork and interviews with farmers and agricultural machinery salesmen about the diffusion process of agricultural machinery took place in Tsuyama city, Okayama Prefecture.<br> Salesmen provided farmers with a huge variety of skills and knowledge about agricultural machinery and crop cultivation in the diffusion process of agricultural machinery. They promoted and supported changing the processes of rice cropping, especially rice transplanting.<br> Agricultural machinery manufacturers sell agricultural machinery and go after profits. Salesmen desperately work for a living under the manufacturer's sales strategies. Sales of agricultural machinery are inextricably linked to technical guidance of agriculture, frequent repair and maintenance. Salesmen make use of their experience as farmers in sales activities. Consequently, with effectiveness of communication in rural society, "logic of capital" serves as great incentive for salesmen and their activities promote the diffusion of agricultural mechanization technology. Salesmen's activities complement the public agricultural extension service.

The time-dependent theory of scattering is reformulated. In §1, it is developed on the basis of a new limiting process which is self-consistent, and the equivalence is shown of Heisenberg's S-matrix and Dyson's one, when the total Hamiltonian permits the existence of bound states. In §2, a theory of scattering of wave packet is proposed in conformity with the physical picture. The damping factor e^<-ε│t│> is derived from the amplitude of the wave packet. In §3, the rearrangement scattering is treated on the basis of the wave packet formalism.

本研究では、保健学・公衆衛生学領域の予防概念をもとに、地域を基盤としたソーシャルワークにおける予防活動の理論的枠組みを検討し、実施上の課題を探った。理論的枠組みは、目的・成果と方法を軸とし、それらの要素の相互作用を捉えるものである。その枠組みにおいてソーシャルワーク理論アプローチの位置づけを考察し、予防活動への適用性を検討した。その結果、地域を基盤としたソーシャルワークにおける予防活動実施上の課題として、総合的な評価枠組み構築の必要性が示された。またソーシャルワーク理論アプローチのアセスメント視点は、第三次、第一次予防レベルにおいても適用性が高い。それらをクライエントの状態変化の把握や予測に活用するための方法論教育、また対象予備群、徴候などを明確にしていく研究が必要である。Based on the preventive concept of the public health, I examined a theoretical framework of preventive practice in the community based social work and investigated issues on the implementation in this study. The theoretical framework assumes "purpose and result" and "method" as axis and takes the interaction of those factors. And then, considered positioning of the social work theory approaches in the framework and examined the applicability to preventive practices. As a result, the necessity of the comprehensive framework for evaluation was provided as the issues on the implementation of preventive practices in the community based social work. In addition, the assessment of the social work theory approaches are applicable to the tertiary, the primary prevention. Education to apply approaches to grasp and predict for the state of clients changing, study to clarify target incipient group and indicators are necessary.

帯状疱疹ウイルス感染による下位脳神経障害が原因で嚥下障害を来した症例を経験したため報告する。初診時に左軟口蓋麻痺、カーテン徴候、左咽頭筋麻痺、咽頭クリアランスの左右差を認め、迷走神経麻痺からの嚥下障害と判断した。30 日後の診察時でも軟口蓋麻痺の残存があり、初診時には認めなかった患側の声帯麻痺が確認されたが、咽頭収縮筋の機能は改善したため、早期に経口摂取可能になったものと思われた。

This essay summarizes a personal history of studies on fluoride-mediated reactions of enol silyl ethers, metal homoenolate, cytochalasin and cortisone synthesis, cycloaddition chemistry of cyclopropenone acetals and dipolar trimethylenemethanes, biological activity of organofullerenes and DNA and siRNA delivery, organocuprate(I) reaction mechanisms, iron-catalyzed cross coupling and C-H activation reactions, 15O labeling for positron emission tomography (PET), functional fullerene molecules including bucky ferrocene, shuttlecock molecules and [10]cyclophenacene, fullerene bilayer vesicles, new design materials for organic and lead perovskite solar-cell fabrication, carbon-bridged oligophenylene vinylenes and single-molecule atomic-resolution real-time transmission electron microscopy (SMART-EM) for structural and kinetic studies of molecules and molecular clusters. It also describes how the encounters with key people may change the course of your scientific research as well as of your personal life. These examples suggest that life is a stochastic process, and, moreover, science in the future would be something that we do not even imagine now as a subject of research.

日本近海産アカウミガメ類の分類学的取扱いが混乱している現状を明らかにし,次のことをのべた。1.日本近海に普通に産し,南日本に産卵のため上陸するいわゆる‘アカウミガメ’の集団は唯1種よりなり,それはolivacea Eschscholtzではなく,caretta Linnéに該当する。2.したがって,この集団の学名としてはCaretta caretta(Linné),そして,和名としては‘アカウミガメ’を用いるべきである。3.いっぽう,Lepidochelys olivacea(Eschscholtz)の日本近海における出現は稀なようで,現在のところ,確実な記録としては,福岡県志賀島および新潟県寺泊での捕獲があるのみである。4.Lepidochelys olivaceaを‘ヒメウミガメ’と呼ぶことを提案する。

An extreme, damaging rainfall occurred in northern Kyushu in July 2017. Whether such an extreme rainfall is quantitatively captured by numerical models is a challenging issue. We investigate the influences of terrain representation in simulating a stationary convective system and the resulting heavy rainfall for this case by conducting a series of 167-m-resolution numerical experiments. By employing a high-resolution elevation dataset as well as a double-moment cloud microphysics scheme, the control experiment successfully reproduced the stationary, linear-shaped convective system and the associated heavy rainfall. When the model terrain was created by a coarser-resolution elevation dataset, the 167-m-resolution experiment underestimated the accumulated rainfall, because of discretely developing convection and weaker intensities of the rainfall. These impacts of the terrain representation were confirmed to be robust through conducting another experiments with a different microphysics scheme. The representation of model terrains is critically important in simulating stationary convective systems and quantitatively the resulting heavy rainfall.

近年, 深層学習を使用した芸術の作成に注目が集まっている. また, 日本で古くから親しまれている芸術として俳句がある. そこで, 俳句を作成する方法として一般的な「モチーフから俳句を作る」ということを深層学習を使用して行うことで, 芸術作成としての深層学習の有用性を示す.そのための方法として, 小林一茶をはじめとする俳人たちの俳句を大量に用意してLSTMに入力して学習し, 文字列を生成する. その後, 得られた文字列から俳句としての条件を満たすものをとりだし, モチーフ画像に適合するかどうかの評価値を算出する. 評価が高ければそのモチーフ画像にあった俳句として生成できたものとしている. その過程で,LSTMが俳句としてのルールを学習できているかを確認するための実験を行った.

During a recent inventory of cephalopod collection in the University Museum, the University of Tokyo, considerable number of specimens came to light that were collected in the early days of the Institute of Zoology, Tokyo Imperial University, and duning the establishment Misaki Marine Biological Laboratory in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Names recorded on the labels include those of famous scholars such as Isao Iijima, Kakichi Mitsukuri, Madoka Sasaki, along with that of the master collector Kumakichi Aoki. The collection was confirmed to containe the holotypes and syntypes of 19 taxa described by Sasaki and the holotype of Opisthoteuthis depressa Iijima & Ikeda.

本研究の目的は、児童館職員及び民間児童クラブ職員を対象とした質問紙調査から、放課後児童クラブに おいて高学年児童を受け入れることについての認識を検討することであった。高学年児童の受け入れに不安を 感じるか否かの理由づけと受け入れにあたりどのような対応・準備がなされているかについての自由記述を求め、 日本語テキスト型データ分析システムKH Coderを用いて分析を行った。操作の詳細を明示・公開した上で多変 量解析による自由記述データの要約・提示を行うことで、児童館職員及び民間児童クラブ職員の認識について、 客観性を確保しつつ全体的な特徴をとらえることを試みた。
