最大級台風の最悪コースによる三大湾への襲来に対する高潮浸水予測の数値計算は,これまで数多く行われている.その結果は自治体などにおいてハザードマップなどの防災情報として活用されている.しかし,地域の住民や子供たちに有益な防災情報として提供していると思われがちであるが,実際には災害をリアルに捉えることが難しく,発災時に取るべき行動を,感覚的・知覚的に学ぶことができない.そこで本研究では,数値計算で得られる高潮浸水の結果を基に,専門知識がない人でも直感的に浸水状況を理解してもらうため,VR(人工現実感)ヘッドマウントディスプレイ(HMD)を用いた高潮想定没入体験システムの開発と有用性の評価を行う.HMDはスマートフォンに装着して用いるため,1セット当たり約9万円と低価格で構築でき,運用が容易である.

Objectives : The aim of the study was to understand the physical therapist’s experience and perception of the support they give to their older patients or clients to continue exercising.Methods : Using purposive sampling, we recruited fifteen physical therapists with more than 5 years of clinical experience and conducted semi-structured interviews. We analyzed the transcribed data using thematic analysis.Results : Three main themes emerged: (1) the expected results as healthcare professionals, (2) clinical experience and continuing professional development, and (3) limited educational opportunities. Physical therapists struggled to achieve a certain level of exercise adherence in their patients, and the low success rate decreased their confidence. We found that physical therapists needed not only to rely on clinical experience but also to integrate scientific evidence to implement better behavioral change techniques; they would also appreciate receiving appropriate educational opportunities.Conclusions : This study revealed a possibility of educational insufficiency for physical therapist to support of behavior change to improve exercise adherence in the older population.

他者からの肯定的評価への恐れは,社交不安症の認知的特徴である。本研究の目的はFear of Positive Evaluation Scale(FPES)日本語版の信頼性と妥当性を検討することであった。対象者は324名の大学生であった。確認的因子分析の結果,原版と同様に8項目1因子構造が確認された。また,内的整合性と5週間の再検査信頼性は原版と同様に高いことが示された。妥当性を確認するために,他者からの否定的評価への恐れ,および対人交流への不安との関連性を検討した。その結果,予測された関連性が確認された。第一に,対人交流への不安,他者からの否定的評価への恐れとの間に正の相関が認められた。第二に,他者からの否定的評価への恐れを統制した場合に対人交流への不安を予測した。したがって,FPES日本語版の信頼性と妥当性が確認され,その有用性が議論された。

音楽と色彩の構成要素を系統的に変化させ,それぞれ単独,あるいはその組み合わせが気分や印象に及ぼす影響や,組み合わせの相応しさを決定する要因について調べた。その結果,長調でテンポの速い曲とvivid toneは覚醒度を上げ,長調でテンポの遅い曲とdull toneは眠気を生じさせた。また,長調でテンポの遅い曲とvivid toneの暖色系,pale toneの全色はポジティブな心理的効果を促進させ,短調でテンポの遅い曲とdull tone全色はネガティブな気分を喚起した。音楽のみ条件と音楽に相応しい色の組み合わせに比べ,音楽に相応しくないと感じられる色を同時に呈示すると,ネガティブな気分が増強された。各音楽に相応しい色彩の組み合わせの結果から,音楽と色彩の組み合わせの相応しさを決める要因として,各音楽や色彩に対する好み,喚起される感情の共通性,および印象評価の共通性の3つが挙げられる。

京都・柳川流地歌三味線についての研究。京都における地歌箏曲の系統は伝統的に柳川流であり、一部の実演家が使用する三味線は細棹よりも細い棹・小型胴の三味線である「柳川三味線」が用いられる。本研究は、①これまでに行われた柳川三味線について研究の再整理をし、②楽器としてみた柳川三味線、③他の地歌三味線との演奏表現の違いについての基礎研究を行い、④京都上派における地歌伝承の現況調査、⑤「水張り」による三味線の楽器調整(皮張り)の状況、⑥楽譜・音源のアーカイブを行なった。

The number of intestinal Candida was correlated with the incidence of Candida infection. The number of intestinal Candida was higher in patients receiving antileukemic chemotherapy than in normal subjects. Respiratory and urinary infections were increased in patients with more than 105 Candida/g feces. Bifidobacterium administered orally to patients with more than 105 Candida/g feces, reduced the incidence of infection if the intestinal Candida population fell to less than 104/g feces.

YOSHIKI Okada, a translator and an editor, published Nouveau dictionnaire français-japonais (Kankyo Futsuwa Jiten) in 1871. He had been an English teacher in Nagasaki from 1865 to 1871 before moving to Tokyo in 1871. In this paper we reveal the personal history of YOSHIKI Okada, introduced the bibliographical description of the dictionary and tried to evaluate Nouveau dictionnaire français-japonais.

2020年11月に国際身体活動健康学会(International Society for Physical Activity and Health: ISPAH)は「身体活動を支える8つの投資(Eight Investments That Work for Physical Activity)」を出版した。これは,2010年に同学会が発表した「身体活動のトロント憲章」と2011年の「非感染性疾患予防:身体活動への有効な投資」のうち,後者を最新化するもので,世界保健機関(World Health Organization: WHO)の「身体活動に関する世界行動計画2018-2030」とともに身体活動促進のガイダンスとして有益である。身体活動の促進は人々の健康増進のみならず,より良い社会の実現,国連が定める「持続可能な開発目標(Sustainable Development Goals: SDGs)」の達成に資するとされている。その戦略としてはシステムズアプローチが重要であり,その考えに基づいて8つの領域にわたる対策を推奨している。8つとは,①「学校ぐるみ」のプログラム(whole-of-school programmes),②アクティブな移動・交通手段(active transport),③アクティブな都市デザイン(active urban design),④保健・医療(healthcare),⑤マスメディアを含む一般社会に向けた啓発(public education, including mass media),⑥みんなのためのスポーツとレクリエーション(sport and recreation for all),⑦職場(workplaces),⑧コミュニティ全体のプログラム(community-wide programmes)である。本稿ではその内容を概説するとともに,英語原本およびその日本語訳を要約し,紹介する。

本研究は,消滅可能性都市として指摘されている南知多町の人口流出を防ぐための方策や人口を増やすことを検討するために,住民意識調査や専門職の意識調査を分析し,現在,計画内容が検討されている地域福祉計画の策定に寄与できることを目指している. 分析結果より,30 歳代および50 歳代以上の住民には「南知多町に住み続けたい」と考える人の割合が高いことに比べ,40 歳代の住民は,「南知多町に住み続けたい」と考える人の割合は低い傾向にあり,その理由として仕事,医療・福祉の面での課題がみられた. また,住民と専門職の間には学校統廃合の意識に差があった.住民は,学校統廃合には現状維持を求める意見が約5 割であることに対し,専門職は,現状維持したほうがよいと考える意見は約3 割であった.先行研究では,人口を減少させない方策として,小中高校の存続に力を注ぐことであると述べられている.このまま学校統廃合を進めていった場合,さらに人口流出が加速する可能性がある。 これらの分析をふまえ,地域福祉計画を策定していくためには,「専門職参加」「行政職員参加」だけでなく「住民参加」が必須であり,住民をいかに巻き込むことができるか鍵となることが考察された.

平成8年2月10日午前8時10分ごろ, 北海道西海岸に位置する一般国道229号豊浜トンネル古平側坑口部上方の岩盤斜面において, 大規模岩盤ブロックが崩落した. 本論文においては, 現地調査・現場試験および室内試験・現地計測によって得られたデータを基に, 岩盤崩落箇所の状況ならびに岩盤崩落箇所周辺の自然環境, とくに地下水挙動の季節変化についての具体的な事実を網羅した上で, 素因と誘因を交えて, 岩盤崩落の発生メカニズムを検討した. その結果, 今回の岩盤崩落には様々な要因が複雑に絡んで影響を与えているものの, 冬季の厳寒条件下におかれた岩盤の表面凍結によって流出口を閉塞された地下水が, 崩壊面となった潜在不連続面に高い間隙水圧を発生せしめたことが主要因であると結論できる.

Koritsu-shi (solitary death) refers to cases of death in which the deceased was living in a one-person household. In Japan, koritsu-shi cases have received significant attention as a major social problem because the aging population has led to an increase in single-person households. However, because the definition of koritsu-shi is unclear and carrying out a national level survey of households where the occupant has died is difficult, the actual situation surrounding koritsu-shi has not been elucidated. As koritsu-shi is legally treated as an unnatural death, statistics on koritsu-shi have been reported in many areas (Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe) under the medical examiner system. Of these areas, statistics from the Tokyo ward area have revealed the most information and show that the proportion of unnatural deaths involving koritsu-shi has been increasing year after year, with 36% of cases being koritsu-shi in 2016. Each year showed that koritsu-shi was higher in men than women. Although the deceased were predominantly male in cases of middle-aged koritsu-shi, both sexes are affected more evenly in single-elderly cases. However, the overall incidence was higher in men when the numbers of middle aged and elderly people are tallied against the higher numbers of elderly women. In men, the characteristic cause of death is chronic alcoholic liver injury with other cases mostly being categorized as unknown due to postmortem damage. Even within the densely populated Tokyo ward area, spatial clustering was detected with regard to the incidence of koritsu-shi per ward. There are many points that are consistent between reports of koritsu-shi in the Tokyo ward area and other areas. However, it is not easy to compare results among different regions due to the unclear definition of koritsu-shi and insufficient bias exclusion. Koritsu-shi cases are expected to increase in Japan in the future. Future efforts should focus on finding the deceased as soon as possible after death, or even pursuing the possibility of preventing koritsu-shi in cases when an individual living in a one-person household suddenly collapses at home. In addition, to reduce the effect of loneliness and social isolation among those living in single-person households to improve health outcomes, it is important that medicine and public health efforts address the problem of koritsu-shi.

本研究の目的は,第一に境界性・自己愛性・演技性・回避性・依存性パーソナリティ障害傾向(PD傾向)と獲得的セルフ・モニタリング(獲得的SM)および防衛的セルフ・モニタリング(防衛的SM)との関連を検討すること,第二にPD傾向がSMを媒介して自己像の不安定性に及ぼす影響について検討することであった。大学生・大学院生297名を分析対象とした質問紙調査を行った。結果より,獲得的SMに対して演技性PD傾向は正の関連を,依存性PD傾向は負の関連を示し,防衛的SMに対して境界性・演技性・回避性PD傾向は正の関連を,自己愛性PD傾向は負の関連を示した。また,自己愛性・演技性・回避性PD傾向において,防衛的SMの下位因子を媒介して自己像の不安定性に影響することが示された。本研究の結果から,演技性・回避性PD傾向において,他者志向的なSMを行い,他者や状況のような外的要因の影響を受けることが自己像の不安定性につながることが示唆された。
