An equation of the combined permeability of facing and backing sands is introduced and as its application, the relationship between permeability and surface roughness of castings was studied.   Main conclusions obtained were as follows :   1) The combined permeability of molding sands is calculated by the following equation             [Written in non-displayable characters.].       where H is height of each layer, K is permeability.   2) The above equation can be applied extensively to values of the permeability with a good accuracy.   3) The surface roughness of castings takes a minimum to a value of the combined permeability, which is changed by the mold surface or sand grain size, that is, with finer surface roughness of the mold the value declines to lower permeability. (Fig. 3) Therefore, in order to obtain fine surface roughness of castings, the combined permeability of facing and backing sands should be controlled properly according to mold surface roughness or sand grain size.

Recently, wireless charging via magnetic resonance coupling has gained attention because it has the potential of efficient midrange wireless charging. Here, functions such as sensing at the transmitter and wireless communication from the target are the essential elements to realize a standard wireless charging system. Currently, the sensing and communication protocol of the hardware (i.e., the high-frequency power source and antenna configuration) compatible with wireless charging is gaining attention in terms of its cost and space reduction due to the use of common components for multiple functions. However, this protocol has the problem of narrow effective areas due to the fact that the sensing range depends on the fixed Q factor of the antenna. To overcome this problem, the concept of wide-area sensing based on a Q controllable antenna is proposed, and the effectiveness is verified through a theoretical analysis and an experiment. As a result, it is clarified that the effective area can be expanded up to a ratio of the distance g between the transmitting and receiving antennas to the inner diameter d of the antenna g/d =5.0.

風洞試験で計測した模型変形データを用いて, Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)表面格子を修正する方法を検討する.JAXAではマーカーを使ったステレオ写真法により風試模型の模型変形量を計測しており,計測したマーカー座標値を使うことで主翼の変形則を同定し,変形後の形状を定義することができる.本報告では,計測したマーカー座標値を使って変形後の形状を同定し, CFDの表面格子が通風時の風試模型形状と一致するように修正する方法を検討する.ここでは三種類の変形手法を検討する.そして,実際に模型の変形量を計測した DLR-F6FX2Bモデルに対して本手法を適用し,変形モデルの検証をおこなう.また,変形前後の形状に対して Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes(RANS)解析を実施することで,変形を考慮していない場合と考慮した場合とで空力特性にどの程度影響を及ぼすかを検討する.

The efficacy of Bacillus subtilis var. natto, a beneficial food microbe, was tested as a control for gray mold of strawberry. When five isolates of Bacillus subtilis var. natto were cultured with the gray mold fungus on potato sucrose agar plates, all isolates inhibited fungal growth. Isolate No. 2, which was the most inhibitory of the fungus in vitro, reduced disease progress in both detached leaves and flowers. These results suggest that isolate No. 2 of B. subtilis var. natto has potential as biological control agent of gray mold of strawberry plants.

症例1は85歳, 女性。近医にてCEA9.2ng/mlと高値を指摘され当科紹介となった。CT検査, 超音波検査で虫垂部に嚢胞状腫瘤を認めた。注腸造影検査では盲腸下端に半球状の表面平滑な隆起性病変を認め, 虫垂は造影されなかった。虫垂粘液嚢腫の診断で盲腸部分切除術を施行し, 術後CEAは4.7ng/mlと正常化した。 症例2は74歳, 女性。高血圧, 高脂血症で当科通院中にCEA12.3ng/mlと高値を示し, CT検査, 超音波検査で虫垂部に嚢胞状腫瘤を認めた。注腸造影検査では盲腸に粘膜下腫瘍様隆起を認め, 虫垂は造影されなかった。虫垂粘液嚢腫の診断で盲腸部分切除術を施行し, 術後CEAは1.5ng/mlと正常化した。 いずれも病理検査で虫垂粘液嚢胞腺腫と診断され, 免疫染色ではCEA陽性であった。

我々は,2008年10月に多剤耐性緑膿菌(MDRP)によるアウトブレイクを経験した.感染の拡大防止・確認のため,環境付着菌検査および患者の鼻腔・尿・便検体の細菌培養検査を行ったが,<i>Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter</i>属,<i>Bacillus</i>属等の菌は検出されたが,MDRPは検出されなかった.<br>   そこで,MDRPを含め環境由来菌による医療関連感染の予防対策として,医療環境水の微生物生息状況を把握するため,無菌室および浴室・シャワー室・洗面台・作業スペースにある給水・給湯水について水道法,日本薬局方および新版レジオネラ症防止指針に記載されている濾過濃縮法に準じ,微生物汚染度調査を行った.その結果,MDRPの検出はなかったが,日和見感染や医療関連感染を惹起する従属栄養細菌と臨床上問題となる<i>Bacillus cereus, Legionella pneumophila</i>等の細菌が検出された.<br>   今回の調査によって,医療環境水には様々な細菌の汚染が考えられるため,給水設備の定期的な維持管理が重要であるということが確認された.<br>

本研究では、自閉症児の母親に対し、子どもの行動を家庭で簡単に記録できるチェックリストを提供し、記録に基づいた支援をすることによる子どもの行動変容と母親のかかわり行動の変化を検討した。初めに、子どもの自発的な着替えを標的行動として、課題分析によるチェックリストを作成し、母親のかかわり方について、週1回程度の面談指導を約2か月間継続した。その結果、着替えの自発性は向上した。同時に、母親の子どもへのかかわり方にも変化がみられ、主体的に次の標的行動の指導に取り組むようになった。これらの結果をふまえ、チェックリストを用いた支援の効果について、親の主体的な取り組みを引き出すといった観点から考察した。

症例は21歳, 男性。20歳時よりうつ病, 心身症で某医にて加療歴あり。深夜に泥酔状態で帰宅し, 酸素スプレーと誤って家庭用殺虫剤を吸入した。翌朝になって発熱, 咳嗽, 血痰, 呼吸困難が出現し近医で胸部異常影を指摘され, 当科紹介入院。入院時の胸部X線では両側S^6主体の肺胞性浸潤影が認められ, 発症経過からリポイド肺炎が考えられたため, パルス療法と抗生剤による治療を施行した。全経過中に胸水貯留像や結節状陰影など多彩なX線像を呈したが, ステロイド療法継続により線維化像をみることなく改善した。本症例では組織診断は得られなかったが, 気管支洗浄液のガスクロマトグラフ質量分析の結果において, 誤って吸入したとされる殺虫剤成分に含まれるケロシンと同一成分が気管支洗浄液中に検出されたことより外因性リポイド肺炎が強く疑われた。

昭和32年,自然公園法が制定され,自然公園は国立公園,国定公園,都道府県立自然公園の3種類に分類され体系化された。平成8年3月現在,国立公園は28ヶ所205万ヘクタール,国定公園は55ヶ所133万ヘクタール,都道府県立自然公園は303ヶ所195万ヘクタールに及び,自然公園全体で国土の14.1%をカバーするにいたっており,国土の自然環境保全上中心的な役割を担っている。このうち国立公園,国定公園については国が指定し,その管理も法律により行われている事からも,制度等に関する一定の評価も定着している。一方,都道府県立自然公園は自然公園体系のヒエラルキーの下位に位置していること,その指定等の管理運営も都道府県の条例により行われていることもあり,その実態すら必ずしも明らかとは言えない状況である。

This paper presents a method for detecting and cancelling motion artifact related to standing and walking in a functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) signal. Our fNIRS device has 22 channels. The motionless fNIRS signal from each channel is represented by a fourth-order autoregressive model (AR model), and the related parameters are estimated based on the motionless fNIRS signal using Yule Walker equation. The motion artifacts included in the fNIRS signal are cancelled using the Kalman filter constructed from the AR model. However, the cancellation may be insufficient when the motion artifacts are strong. To determine in which fNIRS channels the motion artifacts are cancelled insufficiently, we apply an observation prediction error related to the Kalman filter and a discrete Fourier transform. The brain activity of the user is then recognized from those fNIRS channels in which the motion artifacts are cancelled sufficiently. To evaluate the proposed method, a mobile robot is controlled using an fNIRS devise as worn by 10 subjects while standing, walking, or sitting. The success rate of brain-activity recognition by the proposed method was 64.2%, whereas that without the proposed method was 54.0%.
