女子短大生125名を対象として, 夏期および冬期休暇における飲料摂取量を調査し, 以下の結果が得られた。<br>1日の平均飲料摂取量は, 夏期が921m<i>l</i>, 冬期が705m<i>l</i>で, 夏期が有意に多かった。夏期および冬期ともに, 他の飲料, 清涼飲料の順に多かった。清涼飲料および他の飲料の摂取量は, 夏期が冬期より多かった。<br>清涼飲料の種類別の摂取量は, 夏期ではウーロン茶飲料, 紅茶飲料, ブレンド茶飲料, 天然果汁 (100%) の順に多かった。冬期ではウーロン茶飲料, 紅茶飲料, 天然果汁 (100%), ブレンド茶飲料の順に多かった。他の飲料の摂取量は, 夏期ではむぎ茶, 水, ウーロン茶, 牛乳の順に多く, 冬期では緑茶, 水, 牛乳, ウーロン茶の順に多かった。<br>茶系飲料の摂取量は夏期に多かったが, 摂取量に対する割合は約50%で季節に影響されることが少なかった。

On color of gemstone, Sensitive colors and insensitive colors exist in visual sensitives to color difference. the green and light color of yellow, orange, pink, blue, violet belong to sensitive colors, while dark color of red, blue, bluish violet are classified into insensitive colors. These results indicate that general color sensation fit in with color of gemstones. Though faceted gemstones displayed several colors in own complex appearance many facets show bright colors to shadow colors, detail color sensation is analyzed by the visual test to three color difference. The result suggest that the human color sensation recognized a medium bright volume color as a gemstone color.

人工内耳(以下,CI)装用者に対し,楽器を使用した集団的音楽トレーニングを実施し,方向感および語音聴取への効果について検討した.20歳以上のCI装用者で,かつ装用下での57-S語表での単音節の聴取成績が60%以上で,音楽トレーニング参加希望者18名のうち,検査等が実施できた14名を対象とした.全12回(1回60分×月2回)のグループレッスンで,1グループ当たり9名の2グループで実施した.音楽トレーニング前後で単音節,単語,日常会話文のいずれにおいても有意差は見られなかった.方向感検査のd値の平均も,トレーニング前後で有意差は見られなかった.また,音楽経験ありと経験なしとの2群間での検討においても,両検査ともに有意差は見られなかった.ただ,有効な症例もあったことから,詳細な評価方法,より効果的な音楽トレーニング法の構築が必要と考えられた.

This study aimed to elucidate the effects of exercise intensity on stretch-shortening cycle (SSC) function of the lower limbs after cycling. Ten male triathletes performed a cycling graded test to determine the ventilatory threshold (VT) and two hopping-cycling (30 min of cycling at 90 or 110% VT)-hopping tests. The two hopping-cycling-hopping tests performed in random order. Power output (PO), heart rate (HR) and rate of perceived exertion (RPE) were monitored throughout the 30-min cycling. Blood lactate concentrations (BLa) were measured in order to assess metabolic stress. The SSC function was calculated as the ratio of the jump height to the time spent in contact with the ground (reactive strength index [RSI]). PO, HR and RPE values during cycling at 110%VT was higher than at 90%VT (p < 0.01). BLa value after the cycling at 110%VT was higher than at 90%VT (90%VT: 2.4±1.0 vs. 110%VT: 5.9±2.8 mmol/L, p < 0.01). Regardless of the cycling exercise intensity, the RSI significantly decreased after the cycling exercise (p < 0.01). The RSI remained decreased at 15 min after the cycling exercise (p < 0.05). These results demonstrated that the SSC function decreased after cycling. Exercise intensity during cycling is likely to have no effect on the decrease in SSC function.

A skin test using buckwheat extract was performed on 182 cases of bronchial asthma. Thirty-three of them showed a positive skin test to buckwheat extract.Buckwheat allergy (bronchial asthma, urticaria, allergic rhinitis, allergic gastroenteropathy and allergic conjunctivities) was found in 19 (57.6%) of the 33 cases showing a positive skin test to buckwheat extract.Basophils from 8 cases of buckwheat asthma showed a strong response to buckwheat extract, although basophils from 10 cases with a postive skin test only, without buckwheat allergy, did not response to buckwheat extract.Bronchial asthma induced by buckwheat (16 of the 19 cases) had some special features. Their asthma attack was induced by the introduction into the body through either mouth or airway and started in childhood. Buckwheat pillows were used in 13 of the 19 cases. Ten of the 13 cases obtained alleviation of asthma upon discontinuation of buckwheat pillows. Most of the buckwheat asthma patients showed a high serum IgE level and had a hereditary factor. The results showed that cases of buckwheat asthma might be sensitized in their childhood.

深さ優先探索とスタックの利用を学習する CS アンプラグド教材を試作した.高等学校への出張講義で実践した結果を主に用いて評価を行い,その有効性について報告する.具体的には,迷宮に隠されている宝物を全て集めて帰ってくるアクティビティを試作した.これを導入として用いることにより,逆ポーランド表記の四則演算がスタックを用いて省スペース (少ないメモリ) で計算できることの理解を高めることができた.

路面において日陰となる時間(日陰時間)が長い区間では,路面凍結や積雪などが生じやすいため冬期の交通事故発生率(事故率)に影響を及ぼしている可能性がある.そこで本研究では,日陰時間と事故率の関係について,札幌市内の一般国道を対象として検証を行った.検証の結果,冬期は日陰時間が長い地点で事故率が大きくなる傾向にあり,冬期の日陰時間増に伴う事故率の増加率は夏期の約2倍であった.また,この傾向は交差点区間で顕著であり,冬期の日陰時間増加に伴う事故率の増加率は夏期の4倍以上に達することが明らかとなった.

症例は71歳,女性.他院での種々の検査の結果,特発性再発性アフタ性口内炎と診断されていた.本症例は約2年6カ月の間,再発するアフタ性口内炎に対して副腎皮質ホルモンの投与を受けていた.著者らは本症例のアフタ再発時にマレイン酸イルソグラジンを投与した.アフタは1週間で消失し,継続投与にて1年6カ月の間,アフタは再発していない.本症例はアフタ性口内炎に対するマレイン酸イルソグラジンの有効性を示唆した.
