国際的な歴史的文字の連携検索実現のため、「IIIFに基づく歴史的文字研究資源情報と公開の指針」および「オープンデータに関する仕様」(第一版)を、連携各機関(奈良文化財研究所・東京大学史料編纂所・国文学研究資料館・国立国語研究所・京都大学人文学研究所・台湾中央研究院歴史語言研究所)と共同で策定・公表し、機関間連携体制の中核を形成した。また、上記「指針」「仕様」に基づく、機関連携検索ポータルサイト「史的文字データベース連携システム」の実証試験版(奈文研・編纂所・国文研連携)を令和2年3月に公開。令和2年10月には、台湾中研院・国文研・京大人文研のデータを加えて、多言語(英語・繁体中国語・簡体中国語・韓国語)にて本公開を開始した(https://mojiportal.nabunken.go.jp/)。なお、連携・サイト公開は、国内および台湾メディアで報道された。木簡情報の研究資源化として、既存の木簡文字画像(約10万文字)をIIIF形式に変換した。また、IIIF用の文字画像切出ツールを開発し、新規に約15,000文字(延べ)のデータを作成した。過年度と合わせて合計約115,000文字の研究資源化を実現した。文字に関する知識の集積作業として、木簡文字観察記録シートを約50,000文字(延べ)作成した。なお、同シートによる分析が、中国簡牘・韓国木簡にも有効であることが確認されたことを踏まえ、東アジア各地の簡牘・木簡文字の観察作業も実施した。国際共同研究・学際研究として、令和1年9月に、東アジア木簡に関する国際学会を共催した(北京)。当初、国際学会の開催は、研究計画後半での実施を予定していたが、本研究遂行にあたっての共同研究等の中で、学会共催の呼びかけを受け、予定を繰り上げて国際学会を共催した。また、人文情報学の国内シンポジウム等において、IIIF連携等本研究の成果を報告した。

When readers comprehend a text, they can have multiple simultaneous interpretations. Literary theories and art studies have indicated that multiple and indeterminate interpretations allow us to create novel understanding and provide us with aesthetic experiences. However, in the cognitive science field, these multiple and indeterminate interpretations have not been represented and modeled. This article proposes a way of modeling the states of multiple and indeterminate interpretations as a time series based on quantum probability theory and discusses the prospect of our approach, focusing on comprehension and aesthetic research. First, we discuss the worth of indeterminate and multiple interpretations for text comprehension and aesthetic experiences. Then, after reviewing the previous comprehension studies, we propose a model of interpretation state, including indeterminacy and multiplicity, as a superposition state based on quantum probability theory and physics. Further, we share the basis of quantum probability theory and the recent studies on quantum cognition for this proposal. Finally, we discuss the prospects of comprehension studies using our approach.

Medical big data, also referred to as ‘real-world data’ (RWD) is defined as “data related to patient health status and/or health care delivery collected routinely from a variety of sources”. This includes data from disease and drug registries, electronic health records, claims and billing data and census data collected from clinicians, hospitals, and payers. Observational studies using RWD collected during general clinical practice are considered complementary to randomized control trials. However, since this design does not allow the random assignment of patients, causal inference analyses are required. Researchers should study the protocol properly before considering the combination of study design, the characteristics of data source, calculation of the appropriate sample size and the validity of outcomes. Data definition using data code should also be considered. Furthermore, the reliability of the source studies must be considered and discussed when the article is written. This review aims to outline the methods for performing reliable observational studies using RWD.

我が国のワクチン接種状況は,2021年9月10日時点で1億1,421万2,726回となり,1回以上接種率61.9%,2回接種完了率49.8%となった.2回接種後14日以上経過した者におけるワクチンの有効性も確認され始めている.接種後の副反応については,諸外国と同様の傾向であるが,接種前の予診と接種後の健康観察が重要である.血液感染を起こし得る接種時の間違いには十分な注意が必要である.

Previous studies demonstrated that participants in left-to-right writing cultures showed a strong preference to associate the past with left space and the future with right space. The present studies investigated whether these spatial associations involved body-part-centered or extracorporal space. In Experiment 1, participants categorized words as referring to the past or the future by pressing button on the left with the left hand or a button on the right with the right hand. In Experiments 2 and 3, participants crossed their hands and were instructed to categorize words by pressing the left or right buttons (Experiment 2) or by moving their left or right hand (Experiment 3). Irrespective of the relative spatial positions of the response buttons, past words were more quickly categorized with the left hand and future words with the right hand. In addition, reaction times were slower in Experiment 2 than in Experiment 1, whereas there was no significant difference between Experiments 1 and 3. These results suggest that temporal concepts such as past and future are more strongly associated with embodied space than visual space.

古活字版。嵯峨本。『伊勢物語』の最初期の刊本。嵯峨本は、本阿弥光悦、角倉素庵が刊行に関与したといわれ、流麗な活字の書体、豪華な装訂により、美しい古典籍の代表格とされる。本書の嵯峨本は、慶長13年から15年にかけ数種刊行されており、本書は、川瀬一馬氏の分類(『増補古活字版之研究』)によれば、そのうち最初に刊行されたもの(第一種イ本)。具引きの色替り料紙を使用し、整版の挿絵(上25図、下24図)がある。巻末に古典学者中院通勝(1556-1610)の刊語(整版)があり、花押を自署している。

[目的]本研究は,身体柔軟性と関節弛緩性において性差および関係性について検証した。[対象と方法]大学2年生の健常人42名(男性28名,女性14名)を対象とした。身体柔軟性および関節弛緩性スコアを評価した。身体柔軟性の評価は,指足尖間距離,指床間距離,膝床間距離,および中指-中指間距離の測定とした。[結果]身体柔軟性および関節弛緩性スコアの測定値を性別間で比較したところ,関節弛緩性スコアにおいて性差を認めた。身体柔軟性の測定値と関節弛緩性スコアとの関連を分析したところ,関節弛緩性スコアと有意な相関を示した身体柔軟性の測定項目はなかった。身体柔軟性の各測定項目間において,指足尖間距離と指床間距離に極めて強い相関関係が示され,指床間距離と膝床間距離に弱い相関関係が示された。[結語]女性は男性に比べ関節弛緩性が高いことが示唆された。本研究における身体柔軟性評価の指標と関節弛緩性評価の指標は関連がないことが示唆された。

To elucidate the sustainable effects of laughter on gene expression, we recruited type 2 diabetic patients who were in-patient for receiving self-management education and examined time-dependent regulation for gene expression by laughter. Two-day experiment was performed. On one day, the patients watched comic video and laughed together with hospital staffs. On the other day, they participated in an inpatient diabetes educational program. Blood samples were collected before and 1.5, 4 h after watching comic video or spending lecture time, and changes in gene expression were comprehensively analyzed by microarray technique. Of the 41,000 genes analyzed, the laughter relatively up-regulated 39 genes, among which, 27 genes were relatively increased in the expression for all the observation period after watching comic video. By functional classification of these genes, 14 genes were found to be related to natural killer cell activity. No genes were included that are directly involved in blood glucose regulation, though successive suppression of postprandial blood glucose levels was observed. These results suggest that the laughter influences the expression of many genes classified into immune responses, and may contribute to amelioration of postprandial blood glucose elevation through a modulation of NK cell activity caused by up-regulation of relating genes.

Japanese char Salvelinus leucomaenis, red-spotted masu salmon Oncorhynchus masou ishikawae, hybrid individuals were collected from a tributary of the Ibigawa River, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. The char and hybrids were mainly distributed in the headwater area where eyed eggs of red-spotted masu salmon are released in each year. Principal component analysis (PCA) of the morphological features of parental and hybrid individuals indicated that hybrid body shape was similar to that of char. Partial nucleotide sequences of mitochondrial DNA indicated the female parental species to be red-spotted masu salmon, without exception. Genotyping of three loci of short interspersed repetitive elements (SINE) of inserted alleles showed all hybrid individuals to be F1, with no evidence of backcrossing. These results indicated that the introduced red-spotted masu salmon hybridized with male char, with a high survival rate of sterile F1 offspring.

梅毒の初回治療時にJarisch-Herxheimer反応(以下J-H反応)を呈する例があることが知られているがその機序は不明である.一般的には一過性であり24〜36時間以内に軽快する.妊娠中に発生した場合の確立した対応法はない.今回,妊娠37週に第1期または第2期の妊娠期梅毒と診断して初回治療開始から3.5時間後にJ-H反応を認めた症例を経験した.母体発熱と悪寒,全身発赤,子宮収縮の増加,CTGで胎児頻脈を認め,速やかに帝王切開で児を娩出し,母児ともに良好な経過であった.妊娠中の初回梅毒治療時の管理とJ-H反応を認めた場合の適切な対応について,今後も症例の蓄積と検討が必要である.
