Over the years, the "appreciation" concept of Minoru Nishio has transformed, and while this study aims to discuss this concept, the term "appreciation" also needs to be analyzed historically from the national language perspective; thereby emphasizing prewar Japanese literature. Hence, I demonstrate a point in time wherein a transition concerning "independence of the appreciation" was determined. This transition was used as the grounds to allow the debating of literary education with Motoki Tokieda, which occurred before the educational practices of Shigeru Araki, particularly in a domain mainly comprising the literature education theory of Nishio by following the generation process of the "appreciation" concept from prewar days. During the prewar era, significant attention was paid to and debates were conducted on "the appreciation" in Japanese literature. Thus, demonstrating that the "appreciation" idea of Okazaki probably influenced this background, which promoted the discovery of the concept. "The appreciation" depicted the characteristics of the times, and it also was the term that strongly reflected the educational philosophy of each debater.

We reported previously that when mouse atrium-derived HL-1 cardiomyocytes undergo apoptosis upon exposure to 2% ethanol, the cellular cytoskeleton is severely disrupted and the anti-apoptotic transcriptional co-activator Yes-associated protein (YAP) is inactivated. Consistent with our previous observations, the expression of connective tissue growth factor (CTGF), an anti-apoptotic growth factor and a target of YAP, decreases in a time-dependent manner during exposure to 2% ethanol. The restoration of YAP activation rescues the cells from apoptosis: both the retrovirus-mediated expression of constitutively active YAP and the stabilization of the actomyosin cytoskeleton by jasplakinolide prevent cell death. In contrast, YAP inhibitors have no effect on cell death, confirming the inactivation of YAP in ethanol-exposed cells. Thus, a decrease in actin tension and YAP inactivation should be crucially involved in the cytotoxicity of ethanol on HL-1 cardiomyocytes.

Hybridization and introgression have been considered important aspects in the speciation process and evolution of reproductive barriers. Although most hybrid zones of animals have been consideredas ‘tension zones, ’ maintained by dispersal/selection balance of hybrids, many of the hybrid zones of freshwater fishes may lead to hybrid swarm. On the other hand, some of the hybrid zones of diadromous, brackishwater and maritime fishes may, infact, be ‘tensionzones’ and widespread introgression of genes. These differences may be dependent upondispersal abilities, because migration from ‘pure’ populations to a hybrid zone (and vise versa) can be expected in widely dispersible species, but not in drainage-restricted freshwater fishes. Although many of the examples of fish hybrid zones may have originated fbllowing secondary contact of geographically-isolated populations, reinfbrcement of reproductive barriers have not appeared. In particular, hybrid swarms of freshwater fishes have often emerged as hybrid-origin species. In some cases in brackishwater species, mtDNA trees have suggested long term hybridization, there being no evidence for reinfbrcement. One of the reasons fbr the continuing existence of hybrid zones (and genetic differences among populations) may be environmental selective pressures in ecotones, because ‘tensionzones’ of fishes originally fbrmed in a transitional zone between different environments.

特許公開公報に記載されている化学物質名は、多様であり、記載法も書き手に委ねられているため共有化を妨げている。化学物質名を自動抽出できれば、共有化に役立つ。現状を把握するために特許公開公報(化学分野)において、化学物質名の出現頻度、記載法を調査、分析した。化学物質を単一物質、混合物、高分子など種類別にタグ付けを行い、各文書における種類別の化学物質名の頻度を比較した。化学物質名を抽出する試みとして、まず形態素解析を用いた化学物質名の単離と、化学物質名に特有な文字に着目した化学物質名の選出結果を示した。

九州大学では,2013 年 4 月から、学部の新入生全員が自分で購入したパソコンを大学に持参し,それを使って授業を受ける体制(学生 PC 必携化)に切り替えた.こうした新しい情報環境での教育を実現するに至った背景,目的,実現するまでの経緯 (会議、部局説明会),何をどう整備したか (ソフトウェア,無線LAN,ファイヤウォール,認証基盤の変更等),円滑に情報環境を整備するために入学式前に行っている講習会について報告する.さらに,現在の状況,今後の可能性などについて簡単に紹介し,今後の学習環境のあり方について,関係者に問題提起を行う.

「経済的個人主義」「宗教的個人主義」を二つの柱とする近代個人主義は,近代化によって非西洋の社会にもたらされることになった。しかし,その場合の多くは,経済的個人主義という自己充足的な個人であり,宗教的個人主義の非西洋社会での確立は非常に困難をともなうものであった。その困難を体言している人物の一人として夏目漱石を取り上げてみる。彼は,自己の「個人主義」を「淋しい」ものとして位置付けている。この「淋しさ」を論及することによって,非西洋社会における個人主義の確立の困難さを示せると思われる。夏目漱石個人主義「淋しさ」「自然」

国内流通する大麦48品種(二条皮麦:18品種,六条皮麦:9品種,外国産皮麦:15品種,六条裸麦:6品種)について,SSRマーカーによる多型をカタログ化した。最小マーカーセットによる大麦加工食品における原料・品種判別は,DNAの断片化が進んだ麦茶を除き,レトルト麦飯,押麦製品,はったい粉,ホットケーキミックス,大麦若葉では可能である。

The electric resistance of the muscles of carp, Cyprinus carpio, and crucian carp, Cyprinus carassius, was measured by a KOHLRAUsH bridge type instrument in the course of deterioration at 17°, 20°, 25° and 30°C. The organoleptic observations and the determination of ATP and free SH group were also carried out. It was observed, as shown in Fig. 2, that the curve of electric resistance lowered stepwise and the curve was distinguishable into six parts in total, in which the steep and the flat parts alternated. From the organoleptic observations and the determination of ATP and free SH group, the author assumed that these six parts indicate successively before rigor, full rigor, after rigor, autolysis, early spoilage, and advanced spoilage stages.

16頭の豚で,枝肉の各部位(1~7と呼ぶ)の電気抵抗値(単位Ωははぶく)を測定し,次のような平均値を得た.部位1(腿の切断されて露出している肉面)1931;2(背肉の腿に近い部分)2334;3(背肉の肩に近い部分)1683;4(肩肉の上部)1918;5(肩肉の下部で前肢に接する付近)1363;6(下腹部の中央の肉面)17667(横隔膜筋)1628.部位2と部位3,5,または7との間には,5%水準で電気抵抗値に有意差が認められた.肉の電気抵抗値は,部位および個体によつて差があるが,死後における経時的変化の様相は同じである.死後は,最初急激に低下するが,まもなくゆるやかに減少していく.この間一時,平衡または増加の傾向を示すが,これは,酸溶性燐酸化合物およびpHの変化とも考えあわせると,死後強直の時期と思われた.赤血塩還元法で遊離SH基の量を測定した.最初の間は肉蛋白質の変性による遊離SH基の量の増加よりも,他の還元性物質の減少が大なるため,測定値は急激に減少して行き,この期間における電気抵抗の変化と同じ様相を示した.その後,蛋白質の変性にともない,遊離SH基が増加するに従つて,この値は増加するようになるが,この時期はいわゆる初期腐敗の時期と思われた.一般に応が腐敗して来るに従い,電気抵抗は,各部位でたがいに似た値を示すようになる,しかし,いわゆる初期腐敗と思われる時期の値は,部位によつて幾分異なるようであつた.
