DRAMメーカにとって,1996年〜1998年春までは需給面でネガティブな要因ばかりが目立った。しかし,1998年後半からは好材料が増え始めた。 たとえば,供給面では韓国のDRAM減産や国内メーカの16MビットDRAMの生産休止といった生産調整がある。さらに,設備投資の削減で設計ルール0.25nm以下に十分対応できないことや参入メーカの減少もそうだ。

We propose a modeling method of a human body for dress simulation using computer graphics. The body is modeled by primitives called metaballs which are useful for representing smooth surfaces. The method proposed here has two phases: In the first phase, we generate a human body model by adjusting the input of the metaballs by hand based on measured data obtained by the range data. In the second phase, the standard human model is deformed to other size bodies based on the range data. That is, once a standard human model is generated, various body types can be easily obtained. In the previous work, approximation precision was not enough sufficient. Our method can generate a human body with a small degree of error by using the following procedures: 1) metaballs are roughly set on the cross sections obtained by data sliced from the range data; these cross sections are selected so that they include special features such as nipple and waist point, 2) the metaballs on each slice are optimized by using the Steep Decent Method, 3) After combining these metaballs on slices, total metaballs are optimized using the Steep Decent Method again. In order to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, we show two examples of metaball human bodies based on the range data; a standard body model and a fat body model are deformed from it.

While a long commentarial tradition has aimed to stress the coherence of classical and canonical Chinese literature, the "composite nature" of early Chinese texts has by now become widely acknowledged. This means that structural analyses rather than unifying commentaries of these texts would seem to be called for. This article examines the text-ual integrity of two Shangshu chapters, "Yao dian" and "Gao Yao mo." Based on an analysis of linguistic usage, it argues that both chapters consist of at least two conflicting parts that appear to be in outright opposition to one another. Simply put, one part seems to represent the perspective of bureaucratic government, while the other one Yao represents charismatic rulership. While these two chapters show very similar patterns of layering, the same cannot be said for other parts of the Shangshu. An analysis of "Lü xing" shows that, while also containing competing voices, its ideological and linguistic fault lines are different from those in "Yao dian" and "Gao Yao mo." The structure of the Shangshu is not easily reduced to a few editors who added recurring layers throughout the entire collection. Rather, it appears that the "composite nature" differs for almost every chapter of the Shangshu : they will all have to be analyzed individually.

明石海峡大橋の主塔は海面からの高さが約300mにも達し, 風によって生じる振動の対策が設計上の重要な課題の1つであった. 主塔の空力特性を確認するため実施した風洞試験の結果から, 塔柱断面には耐風性を考慮して高さ方向に隅切幅の変化するテーパー隅切断面を採用するとともに, 架設系のみならず完成系においても設計風速以下の風で生じる渦励振に対して機械的な減衰を付加する制振対策を施した. 本稿では, 主塔架設時から吊橋完成時に至る主塔の制振対策について, その検討内容と対策の概要について述べる.

2010年10月のタバコ価格への大幅増税の効果を、禁煙をアウトカムとして、自記式調査票により確認した。2企業を対象とし回収率は87.4%(661/756)であり、242人(36.6%)が喫煙していた。現喫煙者の方が非喫煙者よりも社会的にタバコを受けいれやすく(FTND)、現喫煙者中139人が回答した禁煙を考えるタバコ価格(1箱)は平均1,284円であり、ニコチン依存度の高い人の方がこのタバコ価格が高し、傾向が見られた。2010年に禁煙を試みた現喫煙者32人中20人、喫煙を達成した29人中11人はこの大幅増税の影響も受けており、実施者数そのものも2010年以前の年間実施者数よりも多かった。

Navigation systems are nowadays widely used for cars though it is yet to be able to say popularized for motorcycles. While motorcycle navigation systems are not popularized yet, previous research indicates motorcyclist's high demand against a useful navigation system. The absence of useful motorcycle navigation system is an issue of current products not capable of providing navigation information efficiently. To work with the issue, information presentation design is necessary to consider the motorcyclist's characterful viewpoint movement of looking at the road surface carefully in a vertical movement. As a solution to this issue, we propose the use of head-up display for information presentation. Previous studies have revealed the amount and positions suitable to present information for motorcyclist while riding, although the timing of information presentation is yet to be discussed. Thus, in this paper, the information presentation timing to provide navigation information has been evaluated. Experiment using an immersive CAVE motorcycle simulator was conducted with the configuration of five timings between 25 m to 85 m prior to the intersection under conditions of urban street with 30 km/h speed limit. Durations of motorcyclist's viewpoint movement and five scale subjective ratings were used for evaluation. The experimental results from 10 subjects showed a statistically significant difference in subjective ratings. In conclusion, suitable information presentation timing of riding in urban streets with 30 km/h speed limit is around 40 m to 55 m prior to the target intersection.

企業が持続的に成長するには、現在の事業領域と技術領域を超えた新たな領域での探索が有効な方策のひとつである。先行研究は、近傍領域の探索に傾斜しがちな企業の特性を指摘すると同時に、探索活動を類型化した上でそれぞれの効果を明らかにしてきた。本稿は、先行研究が注意を払ってこなかった探索をすすめるプロセスに着目し、その解明に貢献することを目的とする。まず、探索の階層性という新たな概念を提示したうえで、富士フイルムとコダックの探索戦略の違いを明らかにする。そして両社の盛衰が分かれた理由を、探索の階層性に立脚して探索プロセスの違いから考察する。

昭和33年9月26日東日本を襲つた台風22号(狩野川台風)による伊豆半島付近の詳細な降水量分布を検討した.本報の目的は,従来ほとんど取扱われなかつたマイクロないしはメソスケールの降水量分布を現象面で捉えることにある.とくにこの程度の規模の現象は,地形の影響を大きくうけるので,現存の観測網では容易に実態を把握できないが,共軸相関図の作成その他の若干の作業を行うことにより,できる限り資料的制約を克服するように努めた.内容的には次の点に大別される.<br> (1) 総降水量分布図の作成(分布図第3図). (2) 1時間降水量の時間的変化(第4図). (3) 面積雨量の時間的変化(第5図).<br> なお狭い地域内の量の分布に対する地形の影響,風上斜面と風下斜面との雨量差および高さによる雨量差などが如何に大きいかが第2図から知られる.
