Toward the improvement of performance of an electric vehicle (EV), the design of the motor shape appropriate to heat removal is important. A typical EV motor is composed of a pair of coaxial cylinders with a fixed outer cylinder (stator) and a rotating inner cylinder (rotor). Some EV motors have axial slits on the stator wall. The present study experimentally clarifies the influence of inner shape on flow behavior in the EV motor. We divided the measurement area into three regions: the gap region, the rotor end region, and the gap end region. The flow behavior was recorded by a high-speed video camera and was measured via PIV. The flow behavior in the gap and rotor end regions were observed by Kalliroscope flakes. Taylor-Couette flow was observed in the gap region for the both cases without and with slits. In the rotor end region, the vortex that spirally flows from outer cylinder to the inside cylinder was observed. The white dye, injected in the gap, remained at the injection point for the cases without slits. However, the dye moved from the gap region to the rotor end region for the cases with slits. The vortex structure directed to the rotating axis was observed in the slit on the stator wall; the vortex had the axial velocity from the gap region to the rotor end region.

[背景,目的]椎骨脳底動脈閉塞は発症より6時間以上経過して診断されるケースが少なくなく,血栓溶解を施行するかどうか判断が困難な症例が多い.今回椎骨脳底動脈閉塞例に対し血行再建を行った例について,再開通の有無,重症度および治療開始時間が予後に及ぼす影響を検討した. [症例と方法]当院での椎骨脳底動脈閉塞に対する血行再建は発症時間にかかわらず,diffusion MRIで梗塞の面積が20 ml以下または脳幹全体が高信号になっていない例としているが,該当症例は19例あり,12例は発症6時間以内に血行再建が行われ,7例は発症6時間以降に血行再建が行われた.各群について初診時NIHSSと3カ月後のmRS(modified Rankin scale)の関連性を検討した.再開通の評価はTIMI分類で施行した.統計はmRSと年齢,再開通までの時間,NIHSSは分散分析を行い,開通の有無とmRSは分割表分析を行った. [結果]予後は再開通の有無が最も影響し,TIMI分類のGrade 3∼4の11例中9例でmRSが3以下であったが,Grade 0∼1では全例mRSが4以上であった(P<0.01).発症時間,受診時NIHSS,年齢と予後の関係は有意差は認められなかったが,mRS 0∼1の4症例はいずれも発症3時間以内の再開通例であった. [結論]椎骨脳底動脈閉塞は発症時間にかかわらず,diffusion MRIで広範囲に高信号を呈さなければ血栓溶解療法の適応はある.発症時間からの経過にかかわらず再開通後の予後は比較的良好である.神経症状を残さない結果を得るには発症3時間以内の早期再開通が望ましい.

本研究は北インドの古典音楽であるヒンドゥウターニー音楽におけるペルシャの影響を、14世紀から18世紀に書かれたペルシャ語音楽書の記述を基に明らかにするものであった。ペルシャ語音楽書を使い、前近代における北インドの音楽文化交流の歴史に焦点を当てた本研究は、インド音楽の文化史研究としては、これまでにない新しい領域を開拓するものであった。本研究ではまず、ペルシャで書かれたペルシャ語音楽書を読み、ペルシャのリズム理論イーカーゥの分析をおこなった。イーカーゥの理論が体系化される上ではアラビア音楽書の影響があることがわかったため、アラビア語音楽書を書いた、アラブの哲学者についても研究し、彼らのリズム理論の特徴を分析した。次にインドで書かれた音楽書を取り上げ、それらのリズム理論の内容を分析した。特に重要であったのは、18世紀後半のインドで書かれたリズム理論が、ペルシャのリズム理論の用語で翻訳され説明されていることであった。このことから、音楽書の上では18世紀以降に本格的にペルシャのリズム理論がインドのリズム理論に影響を与えているということがわかった。また、本研究では当時のペルシャとインドのリズム理論の特徴をそれぞれ、「組み替え型」と「分割型」と定義付け、それらの特徴が現在のヒンドゥスターニー音楽のリズム演奏とどのような関係にあるのかを分析した。その結果、タブラーのソロ演奏の前奏部にあたるペーシュカールの中に両者の特徴を見ることができた。これによって当時の音楽文化交流の痕跡を、現在の音楽を通して跡付けることができた。

<b>目的</b>&nbsp; 現在、日本各地で観光や地域の活性化を目的としてマスコット・キャラクターが活用されている。今回、山口県のマスコット・キャラクターである「ちょるる」のためのボーイスカウト衣装を制作する機会を得たことから、「スカウトちょるる」の衣装制作を通して、マスコット・キャラクターが着用する服飾の意味や役割をさぐることを目的とする。 <br> <b>方法</b>&nbsp; 本研究は、2013年の日本ジャンボリー開催に伴って、山口県の世界ジャンボリー開催支援室から山口県のマスコット・キャラクター「ちょるる」のための衣装制作の依頼を受けて実施したものである。「スカウトちょるる」のヴィジュアル・イメージをもとに着脱が容易で動きやすいことを重視して制服は上下一体型のつなぎとし、ワッペンには、県花である夏みかんの花をモティーフとしたデザインを考えた。帽子は「ちょるる」の頭部の形状と全体のバランスを考慮したデザインである。<br> <b>結果 </b>最初に制服のみを制作して、日本ジャンボリー開催の100日前イベント(2013年4月21日)において「スカウトちょるる」をお披露目した。その後7月までの間に装飾品や帽子の制作を行い、7月12日に「スカウトちょるる」としての完成形を披露した。今回の衣装制作を通して、マスコット・キャラクターにおける服飾の意味とキャラクターらしさの関わりについての検証を行うことができた。<br>

京・秋葉原にある複合施設「UDX秋葉原」の一角に、異業種間の連携による新しいビジネスが相次いで生まれている場所がある。2007年に創設された非営利団体「3次元形状を活用する会(3D-GAN)」だ(図1)。 ツクルス(本社東京)代表取締役で3D-GANの事務局長を務める相馬達也氏は、3D-GANを"業界団体"と位置付けている。

Growing and managing a company requires the senior management to accurately grasp changes in the economic and political settings. Successfully navigating these economic and political changes requires the combined efforts of the company president and his employees. Successful communication between a president and the employees most closely associated with the on-the-ground business environment is essential to create positive change within an organization. Consequently, when employees are endowed with a sense of importance, or belonging, as a result of communication and support from their president, they are increasingly motivated to perform well. Through an analysis of " president-employee(s) communication " in an organization referred to as" Company D," this paper highlights and summarizes the performance of employees, found to be the resulting outcome of the communication they received from their company's leadership.Growing and managing a company requires the senior management to accurately grasp changes in the economic and political settings.
