〔目的〕性は年齢と同じく歩行に影響を与える重要な因子である。近年,歩行中の加速度信号に波形解析(root mean square,自己相関分析)を加えて得られる歩容指標(歩行の変動性,動揺性,規則性)を用いた歩行の安定性の定量化が行われている。今回,歩容指標を用いて歩行の安定性に性差が存在するのか検討した。〔対象〕対象は健常若年成人46名(男性24名,女性22名)とした。〔方法〕25 mの自由歩行中の体幹加速度信号から得られた歩容指標の値を男性と女性2群の間で比較した。〔結果〕女性は男性に比べ,歩行の変動性,垂直・前後方向の動揺性が有意に大きく,逆に垂直方向の規則性は有意に低下していた。〔結語〕健常若年成人では歩行の安定性に性差が存在する可能性が示唆された。

モビルスーツ型自立歩行支援ロボットを使って,免荷時のロボット使用時の歩行と通常歩行の健常者における脳活動を比較し,脳機能の視点から月面歩行のシミュレーションとしての可能性を検討した.月面歩行のシミュレーションを歩行と捉えるか,ジャンプと捉えるかでシミュレーションの方法が変わってくるものと考えられる.月面歩行のシミュレーションの技術開発は,ニューロリハビリテーションやスポーツ医学等の隣接学術領域にも多くの知見を与えるものと思われる.

We examined the effects of different fluid temperatures of 5, 15, 25, and 35℃ on thermoregulatory responses during prolonged exercise in the heat because it is speculated that fluid at temperatures of between 5 and 15℃, as recommended by the Japan Sports Association, would have different effects on thermoregulatory parameters. Six men from an university track and field team performed 4 sets of cycling exercise (one set=15-min exercise with a 5-min rest period) at 50%VO2max under conditions of 32℃ and 60% relative humidity. The volume of water provided was 80% of the total sweat rate in the non-drinking (control) trial divided by 4 equal aliquots. The increase in rectal temperature, mean skin temperature and mean body temperature during exercise showed no significant differences across all the fluid temperatures. Similarly, local sweat rate, skin blood flow and cutaneous vascular conductance were similar among the conditions. These results suggest that iso-volumetric fluids with varying temperatures (5-35℃) have no effect on rectal temperature and heat loss responses during prolonged exercise in a hot environment.

To inspect the suitability of using the ordinary wearing elderly simulator, which is called "INSTANT-SENIOR", instead of senior, the walking time and the behavior of the group with the ordinary and "INSTANT-SENIOR" are compared with those of the ordinary and senior. As the result, we concluded that "INSTANT-SENIOR" is available as the subject to model the walking behavior of the group evacuation from the point that they become obstacles to the ordinary as the senior do and they won't change the speed during the repeated experiments. Therefore, the experiment of the group evacuation using "INSTANT-SENIOR" as subject is shown in this paper.

集積回路の素子サイズがナノスケールに迫ると、素子の動作を古典的に解釈することは困難になるが、そこで現れる量子効果を積極的に利用する量子デバイスの開発や量子的なリソースによる情報の処理によれば、従来の素子や処理では成し得ない領域への進出が可能になる。しかしながら、量子効果デバイスの特性解析や量子計算アルゴリズムの遂行を手軽に行うことは一般に困難とされるので、量子効果デバイスの基本的な特性の解析および最小qubitの量子レジスタに対する量子フーリエ変換に限定して、解析や変換を表計算ソフト上で行えるようにした。これによって、量子効果や量子アルゴリズムについての理解を深められるようにする。

シンバルは薄板円板状の打楽器で,ブロンズの薄板円板をシンバル形状に成形する成形工程と音質を調整する音質調整工程(ハンマリング加工,音溝加工)を経て製品となる.本研究では,シンバルの音質に大きな影響を及ぼす成形加工後のベル(シンバル中央の膨らんだ部分)の形状とハンマリング加工に注目し,それらがシンバル音に及ぼす影響を明らかにする.最初に,音響放射効率を用いてシンバルの振動と放射音の関係を調べ,ベルサイズにより放射音特性が異なる理由を検討する.次に,ハンマリング加工後のシンバルの振動・放射音の変化予測法を提案し,それを用いてハンマリング加工によりシンバルの振動・放射音特性が変化する理由を検討する.

A spectrally silent change is often observed in the photocycle of microbial rhodopsins. Here, we suggest the presence of two O intermediates in the photocycle of Acetabularia rhodopsin II (ARII or also called Ace2), a light-driven algal proton pump from Acetabularia acetabulum. ARII exhibits a photocycle including a quasi-equilibrium state of M, N, and O (M<=>N<=>O→) at near neutral and above pH values. However, acidification of the medium below pH ~5.5 causes no accumulation of N, resulting in that the photocycle of ARII can be described as an irreversible scheme (M→O→). This may facilitate the investigation of the latter part of the photocycle, especially the rise and decay of O, during which molecular events have not been sufficiently understood. Thus we analyzed the photocycle under acidic conditions (pH ≤ 5.5). Analysis of the absorbance change at 610 nm, which mainly monitors the fractional concentration changes of K and O, was performed and revealed a photocycle scheme containing two sequential O-states with the different molar extinction coefficients. These photoproducts, termed O1 and O2, may be even produced at physiological pH, although they are not clearly observed under this condition due to the existence of a long M-N-O equilibrium.

本研究では、現在、修学を継続している生活保護世帯の定時制高校生へのインタビュー調査の内容について、質的研究の手法を用いて、全日制高等学校に比べて中途退学率の高い定時制高等学校への修学を継続していくためには何が必要かその構造を明らかにした。分析の結果、まず、生活保護世帯の定時制高校生が現在順調に修学を継続している要因として、[自分のことを思ってくれる人の存在]、[環境の変化]、[学習内容の理解]、[就職への意欲]、[自己管理能力の修得]の5項目に整理し、その構造を明らかにした。次に、これらの修学継続要因を促進する支援者のかかわり方から、肯定的または否定しない態度、傾聴の姿勢に基づくパートナーシップ、エコロジカル視点に基づく個別化によるエンパワメント支援、自己肯定感の醸成へとつながるストレングス視点、自己選択・自己決定というソーシャルワーク視点を考察するとともに、それらの視点をふまえて、定時制高校生の修学継続を促進させている家庭、学校、福祉事務所(公的機関)、社会資源から形成されるネットワークモデルを提示した。A qualitative study was conducted to identify what factors evening high school students need in order to keep attending a school with a higher dropout rate as compared to a full-time high school and to reveal the mechanisms of these factors, using the results of interview-based research on evening school students on welfare. As a result of the analysis, five factors that help students who are successfully attending school at present were identified : the existence of a person who cares about the student, environmental change, understanding of the content of school lessons, eagerness to find employment, and acquisition of self-management skills. The mechanism of how these factors work was also defined. Considering the ways in which the supporters who facilitate these factors are involved with the students, the following aspects of support were discussed: a partnership based on a non-judgmental attitude and attentive listening, empowerment support through individualization based on the environment, the perspective of strength that leads to fostering of the sense of selfaffirmation, and the perspective of social work, such as self-choice and self-determination. The network model, comprising the family, school, welfare office (public agency), and social resource, is presented to show how these aspects facilitate the attendance of evening high school students.

Considering serious losses of postwar modernism architecture in Japan, this study aims to clarify a social value fostered by civic action. Noteworthy example were found in Hirosaki City , Aomori Prefecture. 8 buildings planned by well known architect called Kunio Maekawa, which are communal facilities located in middle of the city, were conserved in particular way by citizens.By the research, it revealed that these group of buildings were playing an important role by being a group of life-stages of the citizens. This means that these buildings contains cumulative life-histories of people, which helps people to look back history of themselves and the city. Also by using this networks of accumulative life-histories, the value of these buildings were developing in a sustainable way.

Long-term suppression of postprandial glucose concentration is an important dietary strategy for the prevention and treatment of type 2 diabetes. Because previous reports have suggested that seaweed may exert anti-diabetic effects in animals, the effects of Wakame or Mekabu intake with 200 g white rice, 50 g boiled soybeans, 60 g potatoes, and 40 g broccoli on postprandial glucose, insulin and free fatty acid levels were investigated in healthy subjects. Plasma glucose levels at 30 min and glucose area under the curve (AUC) at 0-30 min after the Mekabu meal were significantly lower than that after the control meal. Plasma glucose and glucose AUC were not different between the Wakame and control meals. Postprandial serum insulin and its AUC and free fatty acid concentration were not different among the three meals. In addition, fullness, satisfaction, and wellness scores were not different among the three meals. Thus, consumption of 70 g Mekabu with a white rice-based breakfast reduces postprandial glucose concentration. J. Med. Invest. 61: 291-297, August, 2014

[Purpose] To analyze the effects of neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) applied to the abdominal muscles of patients with COPD. [Subjects] A total of 22 patients in group A, mean age of 68.2 ± 6.4 years and in group B, 71.2 ± 10.1 years. [Methods] Randomized clinical trial. Patients with COPD were randomly an evenly divided into two groups: group A (NMES + conventional therapy) and group B (conventional physiotherapy) and respiratory muscle strength was measured by pressure manometry before and after the end of the experimental protocols. [Results] Maximum inspiratory pressure before and after the intervention of group A was -64 (44–74) cm H2O, respectively, and -68 (56–96) cmH2O, and in group B, -52 (46–92) cm H2O and -60 (50–72) cmH2O. Maximum expiratory pressure of group A was 84 (72–92) cmH2O and 112 (94–120), respectively, and in group B, 76 (60–100) cmH2O and 84 (60–108) cmH2O. [Conclusion] The results indicate that expiratory muscle training with Russian current together with conventional physical therapy during hospitalization improves the respiratory muscle strength of patients with COPD.
