【目的】体性感覚の低下は高齢者の転倒にも深く関与する。本研究は高齢者の足底触覚閾値を測定し,転倒事象との関連を明らかにする。【方法】通所介護施設の利用者110 名を対象に,高い刺激強度再現性を有する足底感覚計で足底触覚閾値を測定した。併せて下肢筋力など9 項目の心身機能を測定し,転倒群と非転倒群の間で比較した。さらに転倒を目的変数としたロジスティック回帰分析にて各変数のオッズ比を算出し,過去1 年間の転倒歴に対する足底触覚閾値の関連を検討した。【結果】転倒群と非転倒群との比較で足底触覚閾値,足関節背屈角度に有意差が認められた。性別比と疾患の有無で調整したオッズ比は足底触覚閾値と足関節背屈角度が有意であった。【結論】足底触覚閾値は高齢者の転倒を説明する変数として強い関連が認められた。要介護認定者の集団では転倒リスクの評価に従来の指標に加えて足底触覚閾値の測定が有効である可能性が示唆された。

改善活動は,分権的組織によって創出される多数のインクリメンタル・イノベーションの集合として,半ば規範的に捉えられることもある.これに対し本稿は,インクリメンタル・イノベーションとしての改善活動の実態が必ずしも上記規範に一方的に規定されるとは限らないと指摘し,そこには「どのような規模のものに集中し,どのような組織で取り組むか」という全社的な戦略的意思決定の余地が残されていることを明らかにした.

The objective of this paper is to establish a concise structural model of the human musculoskeletal (HMS) system to be used for an exercise therapy of a malfunction or a distortion called Somatic Balance Restoring Treatment (SRBT). This model must be comprehensive for therapists while maintaining a theoretical thoroughness in mechanics. For this objective, a system approach called Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) has been applied to bridge multi-body dynamics and clinical observations. From a mechanical viewpoint, the HMS system can be treated as a collection of joint connected 15 rigid bodies in a topological tree. From a clinical viewpoint, joints are of major concern since most malfunctions take place at the joints. Based on clinical observation data accumulated for 36 years, we have discovered that all HMS motions can be constructed by a combination of 80 fundamental motion elements and that all motions are interacted with each other. By applying the ISM for the HMS system, we have obtained that an active motion element with intention induces associated motion element(s). In addition, the ISM yields a tiered structure of the fundamental motion elements according to the degree of activeness; and most importantly, an overall investigation of the matrix characteristics has revealed a fundamental structure of the SBRT.

Familiarity is one of the most important requirements for human symbiosis robots, such as care service robots. To improve familiarity of a human symbiosis robot, we proposed a novel concept called “robot avatar.” A robot avatar is a small robot mounted on a main robot, and it performs gestures instead of the main robot. Although our previous study revealed that a robot avatar was effective for increasing users’ familiarity with a robot, the effect of users’ age on the improvement of familiarity by a robot avatar was not investigated well because the most of the subjects in the previous study were young. When considering the application of a robot avatar to care service robots, it is important to investigate the effect of a robot avatar on elderly people. In this paper, we focus on elderly subjects, and carried out an experiment to test if a robot avatar is effective for elderly people to improve familiarity. The result was positive, and the effect of a robot avatar on elderly people was stronger than that on younger people. From a comparison of the results from elderly subjects with those from younger subjects, we found that the elderly paid less attention to dialogue between a human and a robot.

2020年、世界的な新型コロナウイルス感染拡大に対して、異例のスピードで「新型コロナウイルス感染症のワクチン(以下、新型コロナワクチン)」の開発が進んだ。そして、2021年、高所得国を中心に、高いワクチン接種率を達成した。その一方で、低/中所得国におけるワクチン接種率は、2022年1月時点でも低く、世界のワクチン格差が浮き彫りになっている。  新型コロナワクチンを世界全体に公平に供給する国際的な枠組みであるCOVAXファシリティに関して、本稿ではそのワクチン供給の仕組みを説明するとともに、①COVAXファシリティを通じた供給とワクチン寄付・供与をめぐる課題、②太平洋島嶼国を事例としたワクチン供給、③太平洋島嶼国の脆弱性に焦点を当て、ドナー国からのワクチン支援のあり方に関して論じる。  COVAXファシリティという枠組みによって、2021年2月に低/中所得国でのワクチン供給が開始され、また高所得国が買い占めたワクチンの寄付が実現できた。しかしながら、ワクチン供給の「公平性」は実現できたとは言い難い状況となっている。  太平洋島嶼国14か国の間でもワクチン格差が存在する。太平洋島嶼国は、国土の拡散性・狭隘性・離散性および国際市場からの遠隔性といった共通の課題を抱える。ワクチン接種率が高い国では、2国間援助やワクチン寄付等により、必要十分なワクチンが供給され、ほぼ対象年齢全員にワクチン接種が完了している、もしくは2022年内に完了予定である。しかしながら、キリバス、ソロモン諸島、バヌアツといったワクチン供給が十分であっても、効果的にワクチン接種に結びついていない国では、ワクチン損失が多く起こっている可能性がある。さらに、パプアニューギニアのように、基本的な保健医療水準が低い国では、健康危機における短期的に大規模な保健医療支援が行われたとしても、ワクチン接種向上に結びつかない可能性もある。  新型コロナウイルス感染症が流行して、2年以上が経過しようとしている。今後、ワクチン接種の向上を目指すには、供給支援から、ワクチン接種体制や基本的な保健医療サービス支援等も含めた中長期的な支援にシフトしていく必要がある。

大阪電気通信大学では現在、工学部1部機械工学科、総合情報学部メディア情報文化学科、短期大学部、工学部2部機械工学科にてAutoCAD LTをもちいたCADによる製図実習、CAD利用技術者検定試験受験の基礎についての演習を行っている。本年度より将来のCAD導入を目指して、設計を主体とする企業でのCADを取り入れた、実線的な演習を行っているので、これについて報告する。

オフロード環境下では,白線などは存在せず,道路の境界はセンサにより検出される.その境界は滑らかではなく検出された境界に基づく自動操舵制御には問題がある.本論文では,非線形重み付きのPath Followingを提案する.提案手法により車両は走行可能領域内で滑らかにかつ安全に走行できることを確認した.

Japan has a long history, dating back to the Nara Period, in which nobility and common people have used mushrooms as medicine and food. Here I report a survey of articles about mushrooms appearing in herbal and history books, novels, diaries of the court nobles, and temples records. I record the names and uses of edible mushrooms and poisonous mushrooms. Some antidotal methods found in herbal and medical books of the Edo Period are described and discussed.

This article examines the networks of people that mediate local rap music in Japan. By focusing on two local rap groups, it explores how they utilize these networks in their live performances and in the releases of their songs. It argues that such networks tend to be constructed in nightclubs and this tendency is connected to the sub-cultural values found on the Japanese rap music scene.

Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) for spacecraft can be contributed various merits, such as workload reduction, safety improvement, high heat insulation, long lifetime. Our team developed WPT prototype for space drone. WPT used mag-netic field resonance, and class E inverter (switching frequency = 6.78MHz). We performed some critical tests (electrical and EMI). As a result of the electric test, the secondary circuit was the highest, which reached thermal equilibrium at about 50 ° C (< Tj). As a result of EMI test, WPT confirmed the range of MIL-STD-461C RE02(excluding switching frequency and its harmonics).
