本研究では、日本の教育・研究の風土をふまえた上で、研究倫理・研究公正について根本的な問いかけに基づく基本理念を検討し、不正の起きない研究の制度設計、効果的な研究公正教育の枠組みの提案を行った。具体的には、倫理学や宗教学などの価値論的側面および科学論的側面からみた関連分野のサーベイ研究、構築した研究ネットワークを基に、当該分野の研究者の招へい、国際学会への研究者派遣、定期的な研究討議を通じた共同研究体制の強化を図った。その研究成果として、国内外の研究者を交えたシンポジウムの開催、複数の学会発表、関連論文の出版を行った。

Background:In 21,105 patients with atrial fibrillation in the ENGAGE AF-TIMI 48 trial, edoxaban was non-inferior to warfarin in preventing thromboembolic events while reducing bleeding. We compared results in Japan with the rest of East Asia (EA), including China, Korea, and Taiwan.Methods and Results:We compared baseline characteristics, time-in-therapeutic range (TTR) for warfarin, and outcomes (efficacy: stroke or systemic embolic events [SEE], safety: major bleeding). Interaction P values were used to assess for effect modification of treatment (higher-dose edoxaban [HDE, 60 mg/30 mg] vs. warfarin; lower-dose edoxaban [LDE, 30 mg/15 mg] vs. warfarin) by region with adjustments for baseline characteristics. Fewer patients in Japan (n=1,010) were female, taking aspirin or amiodarone, naïve to warfarin (P<0.001 for each), had a history of stroke or transient ischemic attack (P=0.02), and more patients needed dose reduction (P<0.001) compared with EA (n=933). The mean TTR was higher in Japan (70% vs. 56%, P<0.001). Evidence for statistical interactions was observed for HDE vs. warfarin by region for stroke/SEE (adjusted P-int=0.052) and major bleeding (adjusted P-int=0.048) with greater relative efficacy and safety with HDE in EA compared with Japan. No interactions were observed for LDE vs. warfarin after adjustment.Conclusions:HDE had a greater relative efficacy and safety in EA compared with Japan that was only partially explained by differences in baseline characteristics and TTR.

The purpose of this paper is to show the significance of "Art Project" by studying the results of the author's several field investigations. The interesting art movements called "Art Project" have been carried out in several places of Japan in recent years. They have been attracting our attention as an attempt to review the conventional way of art and to try to build some new relations between art and human beings or our society. I paid special attention to the projects: the "Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennial 2000" and the "Naoshima Island Project." The former was held for the purpose of realizing its regional revitalization in the Echigo-Tsumari district of the Niigata prefecture in the summer of 2000. The theme of this project was "Human Beings Are a Part of Nature" and the main site for its exhibition included many hills and fields in this district. The local inhabitants cooperated with a number of artists in creating and then setting the art works which represented the history or environmental problems of the area. The latter, the "Naoshima Island Project" has been developed by an enterprise in the small island of Naoshima in the Inland Sea of Japan since 1992. This project has been developing various interesting activities which esteem the history and the nature of Naoshima so that they may put by art new vitality into the community. I would like to point out the following characteristics of "Art Project," based on the results of these investigations. Firstly, it attaches great importance to a place or a human being, and increases the number of art-friendly people. This trend means that the original energy of art aims to free itself from restraints of the system of an art museum, and requests direct ties with people or community. Secondly, many projects which are held in a small town or country area are more impressive than the activities of the same kind in a big city. This shows that contemporary art has the power to produce an undaily world, and that this power is exercised more strongly in a striking contrast in the former. It suggests that a big city differs considerably from the original environment for human beings' life. In conclusion, the significance of "Art Project" is summarized as follows. "Art Project" is obtaining an result as an attempt to vitalize people and community from inside, and it is the interesting collaboration of various art expressions in the twentieth century. Furthermore, it gives an opportunity for us to watch the present society objectively by exhibiting its strong power of producing an undaily world. On the other hand, for the success of "Art Project," the following tasks are pointed out. First, it is important to consider fully the relationship between the characteristics peculiar to each area and art, not following the cases of other areas in an imprudent manner. Second, it is necessary for us to try to deepen our understanding of art without confining us to contemporary art.

Dieser Aufsatz versucht den Terminus 'Ironie' Friedrich Schlegels auf einen klaren Begriff zu bringen. Die eigene Problematik, die die Ironie enthalt, scheint aus seinen Betrachtungen uber den Wesenszug der modernen Poesie zu entstehen, den er mit Berufung der Fichteschen Philosophie begrundet. Der Wesenszug ist namlich die Reflexion. Die Ironie ist eine 'poetische Reflexion' d.h. die durch steten Wechsel von 'Selbstschopfung und Selbstvernichtung' sich fortzeugende Bewegung. Mit dieser Formulierung ubertragt er die dynamische aber abstrakte Bestimmung des transzendentalen Ich Fichtes auf konkrete Tatigkeiten des Kunstlers, der ein Kunstwerk als ein eine 'innere Einheit' erhaltendes Ganzes bildet. Seine Welt-Philosophie, die Fichtes Bewusstseinsphilosophie ontologisch konkretisiert, betrachtet die Welt als ein nie vollendbar, unendlich werdendes Ich. Die unendliche 'Realitat' der Welt, die fur Schlegel die 'Bedeutung' des Ganzen ist, kann mit einem abgeschlossenen System nie aufgefasst werden ; sie kann durch die Kunst nur geahnt werden. Die innere Einheit des Werkes wird dadurch ermoglicht, dass die Ironie uber einzelne Darstellungen und endliche Illusionen hinausgeht und diese zu dem Mittelpunkt des Werkes d.h. der Ahnung der unendlichen Bedeutung des Ganzen fuhrt. Dabei betrachtet er Goethes "Meister" als eine Realisierung solcher Ironie.

This paper reports on effects of a peer support training by undergraduate students for 4th grade students (N=29) in a primaryschool, focusing on changes of adaptation to friends, teachers and classroom atmosphere. These were measured by aquestionnaire that was self-rated by students. Results showed that the peer support training seemed to make students moreaware of problems and immaturity of their peer relations and students' feelings of adaptation to friends and classroomatmosphere decreased. Needed further practices to support students to develop their peer relations and adaptation werediscussed.

本研究では,ワーキングメモリの負荷が精神活動の指標である瞬目活動に及ぼす影響について検討した.実験では,日本語版リーディングスパンテスト(RST)を用いてワーキングメモリの負荷を操作した.実験参加者は,大学生・大学院生15名であった.その結果,(1)負荷が低い2文および負荷が非常に高い5文では,再生中の瞬目率の方が再生後の瞬目率より有意に高かった.(2)再生中の瞬目率では各文条件間で有意差は認められなかったが,再生後の瞬目率では3文および4文は2文より有意に高かった.このことは,ワーキングメモリ上の処理資源の減少が瞬目活動に影響を与えることを示唆する.(3)外的注意を伴う音読中の瞬目率は,内的注意を伴う再生中および再生後の瞬目率より有意に低かった.(4)瞬目率ピークは,再生指示の開始後や再生開始直後に形成された.このことは,刺激の処理終了や認知的努力を伴う意識的処理が行われたことを示唆する.
