In August to September of 1995 the authors conducted an anthropometry of the head and face and measurement of the dental arch on Chinese Liao-Ning (66 males and 83 females), and the results were discussed. Furthermore, the correlations between the measurements of head and face, and those of dental arches and palate height were studied. The main results obtained are as follows : 1) Head length : the mean value for the male is 181.0mm and for the female 170.4mm. Both belong to Middle type. 2) Head breadth : the mean value for the male is 155.3mm and for the female 151.6mm. Male belong to Middle type and females belong to Wide type. 3) Bizygomatic breadth : the mean value for the male is 140.3mm and for the female 133.5mm. Both belong to Middle type. 4) Morphological face height : the mean value for the male is 124.0mm and for the female 114.6mm. Both belong to High type. 5) The head-type of the Chinese Liao-Ning belongs to Hyperbrachycephalic type and the face-type to Leptoprosopic type. 6) Correlation : The significant positive correlation is noted between the morphological face height and lower dental arch length only in the male, while that between morphological face height and palate heght is noted in both male and female.

本報告では,ネットワーク上を伝搬するリスクの拡散モデル分析およびその制御方法を議論し,特にCNN (Cellular Neural Network)を用いる方法を提案する。この場合,遺伝的ブログラミング(GP:Genetic Programming)の手法を用いて,観測されたデータからシステムのダイナミックスを推定し、この推定式を用いて拡散の条件などを予測する。CNNにおけるシステム方程式をGPにより近似するために,初等演算のほかに区分線形などの関数を準備し,これらと変数を含む木構造によりにGPにおける個体を定義する。GP手法により拡散のモテルが微分力程式の形で記述できるので,これを線形近似した連立1階微分方程式から進行波の拡散(停止)条件を導出する手順が応用できる。更に,適切な微小制御人力を推定し加える方法により,短い時間で均衡レベルに拡散を制御することができる。応用例として,実際のリスク拡散データ近似とその制御への応用事例を示す。

当院は19診療科目,病床数427床,平均在院日数13.5日の一般急性期病院で,新潟市の中核病院の一つだが,脳外・皮膚科の常勤医が不在で,一人医長が6科もある.医師総数は49〜51名と減少傾向にある.救外当直は医師平均月1.5回で,一日平均23人が受診し,4-5人が入院した.当直翌日は通常勤務となり,一人診療科では大きな負担である.筆者は週3回の外来,毎朝の術前症例検討会および外来日以外の病棟回診および術後回診を行い,週4日午後から手術日である.診療以外に月1回管理会議,13委員会で4つの委員長を務め,毎週のNST回診を含めてかなりの時間がとられる.平日は朝7時半に家を出て,夜8時〜9時過ぎに帰宅している.手術などの診療内容の量と密度が医療の進歩に伴って増加しているが,それ自体はあまり負担でなく,説明義務・カルテ記載,種々の説明・承諾書類の急増,病院雑用・会議など医療以外の業務が集中して負荷過多になっている.また,患者の過剰な権利意識などに基づく苦情・トラブルよる精神的・体力的疲労に勤務医は悩まされている.改善策としては医師の絶対数を増やし診療報酬を適正化することが必要不可欠であるが,国民の理解を得るための啓蒙・広報活動,勤務医不足の要因となる早期離職グループを増やさない環境つくりの2点が我々に求められる.医師個人の行動は微力であり,発言する医師(会)や政治活動する医師を皆で援護する必要があろう.医師以外の新規専門職の創設・養成による積極的な診療外業務の代替・委任や補助作業の委譲,書類の簡素化・統一化・OA化などによる雑用減量が望まれる.無過失保障制度等の導入による被害患者救済,事故再発防止に向けた第三者・中立機関による検証と警察介入の抑制など医療紛争解決手段の充実も必要であろう.また,医療機関の機能分化(地域中核病院とサテライト病院・診療所)とそれに就労する医師の適正配置を行うことによる体力・気力・年齢に応じた医師の高齢化後の就労先の確保も重要である.勤務医継続に大切なのは仕事をする環境整備である.その経済的負担は,現時点では当該病院がしなければならないので,トップの考え方により病院内環境に格差が生じると推測される.

A new method for the synthesis of 2-substituted 6-methylpurine ribosides from guanosine is described. Reaction of N (2), O (2'), O (3'), O (5')-tetraacetyl-O (6)-p-toluenesulfonylguanosine with carbanion from ethylacetoacetate gave the 6-ethoxycarbonylmethyl derivative, which was further converted to 2-amino-6-methylpurine riboside by deacetylation and decarboxylation. Replacement of the amino group of the compound by the fluoro group was achieved by the Schiemann reaction. The fluoro group could easily be replaced by several nucleophiles. As a result, 2-methylthio-, and 2-dimethylamino-6-methyl-9-β-D-ribofuranosylpurines could be effectively prepared.

「覚書」の中でハイネは,ゲーテ観の違いをもとに,「感覚主義的ヘレネ人」である自分を,「精神主義的ナザレ人」であるベルネと対比して二人の資質の違いを強調している。しかしこの二元的対立は,ハイネの言葉通りに受け取るわけにはいかない。ハイネがゲーテを受入れてきた過程を見ると,決して肯定的評価一辺倒ではない。政治的現象に冷淡なゲーテに対する反発と,その作品の芸術性に対する高い評価が同時にあったと思われる。「覚書」で自分のゲーテ観の否定的な面を,ベルネという対立を用いて自分の内面の矛盾を語っている。「覚書」を歴史として批判的に読むには,ハイネが用いているこうした仮構性を考慮に入れておかねばならない。

私は本学、保育科短大生に授業の中で折々に詩を書くことを求めているが、それらの表現はつたないものであっても、学生達の素直なありのままの姿を映し出している。詩を通して彼らは自らの喜び、感動、困難、悲しみ、寂しさなどを率直、端的に表現する。家族、一人暮らし、友情、勉学、行事、また実習などがテーマとなっているが、それらを通して、彼らが感じていることのすばらしさを読む人々に伝えてくれる。大学に入り、同じ夢を持つ仲間として、同じ目的に向かって励まし合う新たな友との出会いがあり、実習を通しての子どもたちとの出会いもある。幼児たちの「先生!」と、慕う愛情、驚きに満ちた新鮮な心、ごまかしのない励ましの言葉などから、学生たちは多くの力を得、未来への期待を大きくすることが出来る。また、短期大学であるが故に2年間の学生生活は短く、1年目の何も分からない中での学園生活、行事などを体験し、2年目には自分たちが先に立って後輩をリードしなければならない。その中で多くの、苦しみ、困難にぶつかるが、また、彼らが体験する、達成感や感動も大きい。1年1年がかけがえなく、たちまちにして卒業の時期を迎える。その時、2年間の困難や、喜びを共にした友との別れが非常に大きく感じられ、楽しかった学園生活を顧み、苦しみを通してその時に至った達成感は共通の大きな喜びとなり、支えてくれた人たちへの感謝がおのずと、溢れ出るのである。

Solidification crack susceptibility in partially-melted bead-on-plate laser beam weld metal of 6 mm trick 0.2C-1.8Ni-0.55Cr-0.2Mo low alloy steel has been investigated with change of S and P contents in steel using maximum 5 KW CO_2 laser facility beam welder. Effect of weld bead configuration and amount of S and P on crack length in crosssectional bead have been mainly investigated. Estimation of crack length in weld metal was tried by means of regression analysis of data, using bead configuration and impurities of S and P. Moreover, effect of restraint of weld bead during welding on crack susceptibility was investigated. Main results obtained are as follows ; 1) Weld bead configuration is gradually changed from winecup-type to well-type with changing to higher power and higher welding speed in laser beam welding (LBW) within the welding condition in this investigation. 2) With an increase in weld power and welding speed solidification crack susceptibility in weld bead is increased. 3) Solidification cracks have been seen both winecup-and well-type weld bead. However, the cracks were much more in well-type bead than in winecup-type bead in general. 4) S and P impurities in steel have a detrimental effect for the cracks. However, S is 1.8 times more detrimental than P according to statistical investigation. 5) According to statistical investigation the cracks increase with an increase in length of side wall fused and of d_<B1/2> (bead width in 1/2 penetration) 6) The equation which can estimate the crack length in weld bead is introduced from the statistical investigation using the factors of bead configuration and impurities (S, P) in steel. 7) The restraint of the specimen during welding increases the crack susceptibility in weld bead in comparison with the restraint free bead.

The immigration number from the sea in spring, and population density, body-length distribution and social behaviour during the settling season (summer) of the Ayu-fish (Plecoglossus altivelis) were investigated from 1955 to 1969 in the River Ukawa. The population density varied between 0.03 and 5.5 indiv./m^2,but the natural mortality from spring to summer was stable being about a half to onethird. It was confirmed that the social behaviour was changed by its population density and that the growth was not limited directly by algal production but mediated by its own social structure. When overall population density was about four times to that the all fish had their own territories, territorial structure was established only in certain types of river-bed. The difference resulted from the relation between the value of the feeding or resting site and its closedness against the invasion of non-territorial ones. Territorial structure of Ayu had probably evolved as a self-regulatory process but was not so distinct as at the present time.
