本稿では,隠れマルコフモデルの拡張として,隠れ状態のペアである状態遷移の中のクラスタを抽出する能力を有した新しいモデルについて議論する.提案するモデルでは,状態遷移確率の配列をモンドリアン模様に誘導することによって,複数の系列データから隠れ状態系列を推定すると同時に隠れ状態間のネットワークの中のクラスタを発見することが出来る.提案モデルの応用例として音楽信号に適用した実験を示す.

我々は13例の自閉症患者でビタミンB_<12>(メチルコバラミン:Me-B_<12>)の治療効果をオープン試験で試みた.Me-B_<12>の治療開始時期は2歳3ヵ月から18歳で,Me-B_<12>を25〜30μg/kg/day,6〜25ヵ月間投与した.IQ/DQによる評価では,治療前は45±5.3(平均±標準誤差)であったが,治療後は52±6.0と有意な上昇が認められた(p=0.0199).CARS検査(小児自閉症評定尺度)では,治療前は35.9±1.6であったが,治療後は33.0±1.7(p=0.0008)と改善した.自然経過による改善とMe-B_<12>効果を鑑別するため,患者を年齢,知能でそれぞれ2群に分類し検討したところ,思春期群と低IQ群のCARSスコアーが,幼児・早期学童期群,高IQ群と同様に改善した.自閉症児において思春期は一般に症状改善に乏しく,症状の自然改善は高機能自閉症児に見られることから,この結果は, Me-B_<12>効果は自然経過とは異なると考えられた.検討はまだ予備的段階であるが,自閉症においてMe-B_<12>は治療薬として試みる価値があると考えられた.

拡大教科書を選定するための評価方法は確立されておらず、適切な教科書の選択がなされていない。そこで、拡大教科書を利用する際の諸条件が読書の効率に及ぼす影響を明らかにした上で、拡大教科書選定支援のための検査バッテリーを試作した。また、試作した検査バッテリーの有効性を検討するために、試用調査を実施した。さらに、本検査バッテリーを非専門家が簡便に利用できるようにするためのマニュアルを作成し、拡大教科書を利用している弱視児童生徒の担任教員に配布した。

Based on geological and archaeological data as well as historic documents, we review eruptions and earthquakes which have occurred during the 9th century in central and east Japan. The results reconfirm vigorous activities on Izu Arc, Izu-Oshima(〜838AD < N_3, N_2, N_1 < 886AD), Niijima(〜857AD and 886AD), Kozushima(838AD), Miyakejima(832AD and 850AD), and at Fuji volcano(800AD, 838AD < < 864AD, 864AD) during the 9th century. Beside these events, a big eruption of Niigata Yakeyama volcano had likely occurred in 887AD. Chokai volcano also erupted in 871AD, and 810-823AD. Collapse of Yatsugatake volcano took place in 887, probably invoked by a strong shock in 887. In addition, earthquakes with a magnitude from 7 to 8 had taken place along the Itoigawa-Shizuoka active fault system (in 841 or 762AD), Nagano fault system(887AD), Echigo plains(863AD), Shonai plains(850AD), Akita plains(830AD) and Nankai trough(887AD). As a result, we can point out a linkage of big eruptions and seismic activities in the 9th century over 800km long crossing Japan Arc. Geologically this seems to be a surface expression of East-West compression along eastern margin of Amurian Plate over 800km which was driven by the eastward motion of the plate. It is noteworthy to mention that the very similar volcanic and seismic activities have been occurring in the last 50 years to those happened in the ninth century, in their source areas and manners.

In critical state soil mechanics, the volume change behavior of soils has typically been analyzed based upon conventional "e-logp' relationships". However, compaction/densification of loose sand, for example, can sometimes occur even without any significant increase of mean effective stresses. This study presents a model which considers the fact that volume change can occur due to decay/collapse of the structure of soils. Taking into consideration the differences between clay and sand, this study models super-subloading surfaces together with rotational hardening using the modified Cam-clay model. The effects of decay of the soil structure, loss of overconsolidation and evolution of anisotropy are mutually discussed concerning their relationship with ongoing plastic deformation. Fundamental constitutive model responses are illustrated in the present study particularly for "compaction" of sand. Repeated application of low-level shear stress upon loose sand yields a huge amount of volume compression, which is due to the rapid collapse of the initial soil structure. Repetition of the loading also results in a rapid increase of the overconsolidation ratio. Drained and undrained shear behavior of the sand naturally changes remarkably along this densification/compaction procedure, which is also consistently predicted using a single set of soil parameters. Elasto-plastic behavior of the same sand at various densities is thus totally described in the present study in a single the-oretical framework based on soil parameters independent of density.

本研究は,サーバ側で実用的な性能で動作する サーバサイドJavaScript処理系を開発することにより,煩雑な Web アプリケーション開発のコストを大きく低減させることを目指し,以下の成果を得た.(1) プログラムの実行情報を利用した最適化を行い実行速度を向上させるJavaScript処理系を構築した.(2) JavaScriptプログラムとC言語で記述されたプログラムとの連携を可能とする機構を構築した.(3) イベント駆動方式サーバのための並列JavaScript処理系を設計し実装した.(4) JavaScriptプログラムの安全な実行の基礎となる型システムを構築した.

1.ボラ土培地を用いたバラの循環型養液栽培では、見かけの吸収濃度から作成した循環処方を使用し、給液量と設定ECはそれぞれ夏期(6〜8月)は2000mL/株、EC1.2dS/m、冬期(12〜3月)は1200mL/株、EC1.5dS/m、それ以外の期間は1600mL/株、EC1.5dS/mでの養液管理が適する。2.循環栽培で1年経過後はボラ土のリン酸吸収が低下するため循環処方のリン酸濃度を下げた処方に切り替える。また、pHが低くなる場合はアンモニア濃度を低くし、カルシウム濃度を高くし、pHが高くなる場合はアンモニア濃度を高くし、カルシウム濃度を低くすることで養液の安定化を図る。

量子スピン鎖の相転移点を数値計算データから精密に決める解析方法として我々の開発したレベルスペクトロスコピー法がある.本課題ではこのレベルスペクトルスコピー法を種々のモデルに適用して,新奇相の発見,相図の精密化,などをおこなった.具体的には,異方的S=2スピン鎖については約20年前の提唱があったものの長い間存在が否定されていたintermediate-D相の存在をはじめて確認した.また,相互作用パラメーターに関する論争が長く続いていたアズライトの磁性に関し,論争に決着をつける結果を得た.

In recent years, the employment rate ofcollege students is decreasing. The media,including television and job hunting magazines,often feature the decline in the ratio of jobsto applicants and the increase of unemployedpeople, etc. Amid fierce job hunting activities,college students are leading their campus liveswith anxieties, which discourage them fromconcentrating on their learning activities. Inthis circumstance, it is imperative to supportcollege students in developing their careers. This study empirically discusses themechanism of the recruiting activities of firmsbased on the data of an original questionnaire.As a result, it was found that the recruitingactivities of firms are strongly influenced bythe essential factors of each firm, such asemployment strategies, including the measuresfor recruiting and dismissing employees, andthe characteristics of corporate governance,including who has control of a firm. The systematic description of themechanism of such recruiting activities wouldhelp the college students in the present agedeepen their understanding of society, fordeveloping their careers.

症例は74歳の男性. 1986年に胸部食道癌にて食道亜全摘術, 胸骨後経路による胃管再建術を施行した. 1994年5月に挙上胃管に消化性潰瘍を認めたため抗潰瘍剤を経口投与していた. 同年8月13日, 突然, 前胸部痛が出現, 改善しないため, 8月14日当科を受診した. 胸部単純X線検査, 胸部CTにて心嚢内に gas像を認め, 上部消化管造影検査にて心嚢内への造影剤の流出を認めた. その後, 胸痛の増強, 血圧低下, 不整脈が出現したため, 心タンポナーデと診断し, 緊急手術を行った. 胸骨後経路による胃管再建であったため, 左開胸下に心嚢ドレナージ術を施行した. 術後, 血圧は安定, 不整脈も軽減した。潰瘍に対しては経鼻胃管を留置し, ファモチジンを静脈投与した. 食道癌術後, 再建胃管潰瘍の心嚢内穿孔により心タンポナーデを来す症例はごくまれであり, 本邦では救命例の報告は無い (〜1995年12月) ので, 若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する.

日本語の代表的シソーラスである国立国語研究所『分類語彙表』について, 情報処理研究とターミノロジーの観点から, その特徴を論じる。はじめに, 『分類語彙表』の体系について解説と分析とを行い, 『分類語彙表』を情報処理に利用する場合の利点を明らかにする(柏野・中野)。次いで, ターミノロジーの立場から, 『分類語彙表』における専門語の収載状況を調査し, 専門語を含むシソーラスとしての利用可能性を検討するための基礎的な資料を提示する(石井)。
