カーボンニュートラルに向けた再生可能エネルギー発電への移行期において,将来的な再生可能燃料の選択肢も考慮し,現実的なCO2削減のためには電動化とともに内燃機関の効率改善によるマルチソリューションが有効であると考えられる。その一つの答えとして新世代クリーンディーゼルエンジンSKYACTIV-D 3.3を開発した。排気量を従来の2.2Lから3.3Lに拡大することで高トルク・高出力化は元より,理想を追求したリーン予混合燃焼の拡大の手段としても大排気量化を用いることで,乗用車量産エンジン世界トップの実用域で広い熱効率,及び排気クリーン化を達成した。また低Pmax(最大燃焼圧)対応の構造系を進化させて摩擦抵抗を抑制し,更に直列6気筒による低振動と心地よいエンジン音を創り込んだ。これらの技術によって運転者が愉しく元気になる「走る歓び」,及び抜群の燃費とクリーン排気による「優れた環境性能」の両方をこれまでにない次元にまで高めた。

This project follows the preceding projects performed since 1989, and aims, through the use of a newly developed computer system, to develop a large-scale linguistic atlas of Chinese dialects. The linguistic theoretical framework and the methodology referred to are those of linguistic geography, whose ultimate target is to disclose various aspects of linguistic changes.<br />(1)Construction of the PHD system<br />An XML based data accumulating and processing system, PHD (Project on Han Dialects), was developed and operated on our own server. It comprises and integrates the basic resources (data on localities and dialect materials), linguistic data (indicating Chinese characters, IPA etc.), and digital map data. Client applications were also developed to facilitate our work. This system enhanced to share information and resources and to achieve efficient team work via the intemet.<br />(2)Basic work<br />Supplementations and revision were made for the resources accumulated in the preced ing projects, then we input the linguistic data (especially IPA) for nearly 100 items (mostly lexical items).<br />(3)The drawing of the maps and their interpretation<br />Linguistic maps on about 80 items were drawn. The parameters selected for each map as well as the interpretation proposed by the author were discussed at the research meetings, and were also open for discussion on the forum set up on our site.<br />(4)Research output<br />A part of the output of this project was shown in the two research reports. Some of our findings were presented at various conferences held in and outside Japan.<br />(5)Others<br />We started a philological survey of some items related to folklore, and also started to stock basic data to get a better assessment of the linguistic affinity of various dialects by statistical methods. Next plans<br />(6)Next plans<br />Our research will go on at lelast for two years, until we complete the official publication of the linguistic maps and their interpretations.

持効性注射剤(LAI)は、2~4週間に1度投与することで安定した血中濃度が得られるように設計されたコントロールドリリース製剤である。長期的な服薬継続が不可欠な統合失調症治療において、LAIは有用な治療戦略の1つである。これまでのLAIは拒薬や病識がない患者に対して強制的に使用されるという負の印象が強かったが、第二世代抗精神病薬のLAIが上市されるとともに外来における維持療法としての役割が期待されている。精神科医療が入院から外来へと移行しつつあるなかで、社会復帰という観点からも服薬の負担から解放されるLAIのメリットは大きい。本稿では、精神科領域におけるLAIの臨床的意義と各薬剤の特徴、今後の課題について概説する。

The effects of the various preparation procedures of the Dragendorff reagent on sensitivity for thin layer chromatography (TLC) were examined. The sensitivity to various compounds was different depending on the preparation procedures of the Dragendorff reagent.   The reagent with the highest sensitivity to most of the compounds tested was the one prepared with bismuth subnitrate and concentrated hydrochloric acid. However, color spots were disappeared relatively in a short time after the reagent was sprayed on the compounds. The reagent with the second highest sensitivity was the one prepared with precipitation of Bi(OH)3 from bismuth subnitrate, although the procedure was complicated and time-consuming.   Consequently, to simplify the preparation procedure of the reagent, we modified it to the procedure without precipitation of Bi(OH)3 from bismuth subnitrate. The reagent was also prepared from commercially-manufactured Bi(OH)3 or BiI3. The modified Dragendorff reagents showed almost the same sensitivity to most of the compounds tested as the one prepared with precipitation of Bi(OH)3 from bismuth subnitrate, and would be useful for practical TLC analysis.

活動分野別のNPO研究は,法定の20分野によるのが多い.しかし,活動実態を見るには,活動分野を更に分けるのが有効である.そこで本研究は,NPO法人の活動分野を細分して,収入構造の多様性を明らかにするとともに,小規模NPO法人の活動を概観した.その結果下記の3事象が分かった.なお資料は,東京都をはじめ7都府県の14,336法人の事業報告書等である.第1に,収入源が一般の印象と異なる場合がある.例えば,保健医療福祉分野の主な収入源は,障害者福祉制度の給付金であり,介護保険法の給付金は障害者福祉制度の41.5%に過ぎない.第2に,事業収入がないか,あるとしても少額な小規模法人が多い.しかし,少額な収入であっても,ミッションの実現に向けて活動を続けている.そのため,NPO活動全体の議論には,大規模法人に偏ることなく,小規模NPO法人を含めるのが妥当である.第3に,事業収入比率の多寡により全法人を区分すると,高率(80%以上)法人と低率(10%未満)法人の2極に分かれる.

経験的評価手法である距離減衰式に地震断層の震源特性である破壊開始点及び破壊進行方向の影響の導入を試みた.具体的には,既存の等価震源距離に基づく距離減衰式を用い,等価震源距離の計算にディレクティビティ効果を導入する方法を提案した.この手法では,モーメントマグニチュードと震源距離の他に,震源特性であるすべり量分布や破壊開始点,破壊進行方向を設定できる.提案した手法を1995年兵庫県南部地震に適用し,観測された震度分布と比較することによって,その妥当性を示した.さらに,実在する地震断層を対象とした地震動解析を行い,提案手法とハイブリッド法による震度分布を比較することで本手法の有用性を示した.

在胎37,38週のEarly term児における母体患者背景,新生児期合併症,入院率について後方視的に検討した.2014年から2017年に当院で出生した正期産児(4,013例)のうち,多胎,先天異常等を除外したEary term児894例,Full term児1,695例を対象とした.結果は,Early term群で母体合併症,帝王切開(特に予定帝王切開)症例が多く,新生児期合併症は,単変量解析ではEarly term群に新生児仮死と低血糖(< 50mg/dL)が多かったが,多変量解析では低血糖のみ有意差がみられた.新生児科入院率および再入院率は“Early term”が独立したリスク因子であった.当院では予定帝王切開を主に38週台で行っているが緊急帝王切開増加リスクは許容範囲内であり(約8%),欧米の推奨するFull termよりもやや早めに設定することは妥当と考える.

近年サッカーの試合分析では,試合状況と選手の行動から将来得点または失点する可能性を示す期待ポゼッション値 (EPV) が提案されている.本研究では,EPV を用いて RoboCupSoccer Simulation 2D の試合状況と選手の行動を分析し,その有効性を検討する.そのため試合のログファイルから特徴量を抽出し,ニューラルネットワークを用いて EPV の推定モデルを学習,獲得する.得られた推定モデルからパスなどの試合状況分析を通して有効性を確認した.

This study clarified the train user’s tendency of smartphone use while walking from the station’s ticket gate. The walkers who had a smartphone in hand at the ticket gate and had waited over 40 seconds at the stoplight tend to do the act. The presence of other walkers in personal space is the continuation factor of the act, but not the starting factor. The act occurs easily at the places which are within 200m from stay place, because smartphone users can’t stop promptly the operation which was started at the stay place and they can find guides easily.

We examined the decomposition behavior of 1-acyl-substituted derivatives of d-lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), such as 1-cyclopropanecarbonyl LSD (1cP-LSD), 1-acetyl LSD (ALD-52), and 1-propionyl LSD (1P-LSD) through gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS). It was reported previously that in methanol, 1cP-LSD completely decomposed into LSD during GC/MS. We found that in methanol, 1cP-LSD remained undecomposed during GC/MS, and the extent of decomposition varied based on the analyses performed in this study. As a result of a detailed examination, we deduced that the decomposition occurs at the inlet, regardless of the inlet temperature or the type of the inlet liner. We observed that the peak areas of 1cP-LSD decreased with the deterioration of the inlet liner, and this was considered to be a cause for the variation between different analyses. While the acetonitrile solution of 1cP-LSD provided relatively robust results, the other examined solvents showed a significant decomposition of 1cP-LSD and/or a sequent decrease in the peak area of 1cP-LSD with time after the replacement of the inlet liner. ALD-52 or 1P-LSD in acetonitrile were stable during GC/MS, however, they were unstable when methanol was used as a solvent, similar to 1cP-LSD. This suggested that a similar decomposition and/or a sequent decrease in the peaks of ALD-52 and 1P-LSD during GC/MS can be expected.

清酒鑑評会の公開きき酒でカビ臭を経験した方が多くおられることと思う。筆者らは最先端の分析機器を駆使して, そのカビ臭の原因物質がTCAであること, 1.7ng/l (1.7×10-9g/l) という大変微量な含有量でカビ臭が感知されることを解明し, 醸造工程におけるTCAの生成機構やその生成防止方法について研究された。本総説はその研究成果を解説していただいたもので, 醸造現場において大変有益な内容でありぜひ一読をお願いしたい。

Chemically modified compounds of glycyrrhizin have been synthesized and evaluated for their inhibitory effect on the replication of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) and herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1). Among them, the 11-deoxo compound having a heteroannular diene structure at the C and D rings proved as active against HIV-1 as glycyrrhizin in MT-4 and MOLT-4 cells. It completely inhibited HIV-1-induced cytopathogenicity in both cell lines at a concentration of 0.16mM. The compound was also effective against HSV-1 with a 50% inhibitory concentration of 0.5μM.
