The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Setsunan University, offers the Self-improvement and Participatory Career Development Education Program: Internship and Volunteer Training Experience for Pharmacy Students to third-year students. We previously reported that the training experience was effective in cultivating important attributes among students, such as a willingness to learn the aims of pharmacists, an awareness of their own role as healthcare workers, and a desire to reflect on their future careers and lives. A follow-up survey of the participants was carried out three years after the training experience. The questionnaire verified that the training experience affected attendance at subsequent lectures and course determination after graduation. We confirmed the relationship between the participants' degree of satisfaction with the training experience and increased motivation for attending subsequent lectures. Through the training experience, participants discovered future targets and subjects of study. In addition, they became more interested in subsequent classroom lessons and their future. The greater the participants' degree of satisfaction with their training experience, the more interest they took in practical training and future courses. The present study clarified that the training experience was effective in cultivating important attributes such as a willingness to learn and an interest in future courses. Moreover, the training positively affected the course determination after graduation.

本研究では,保育者が自らの転機についての語りから,転機の要因や転機における保育者の自己の変容について明らかにすることで,現代社会において保育者に求められる専門性について検討を行う。具体的には,まず,保育者の成長に関連性が強い保育者効力感を縦軸としたライフラインを記入し,それを刺激素材として保育者の転機の時期やその要因,プロセスについて半構造化インタビューを実施する。そして,そこで得た言語データをSCAT (Steps for Coding and Theorization)を用いて分析を行う。その結果,転機の要因として3つのカテゴリーと異動との関連性が示された。そして,保育者が転機をi問題認識,ii省察,iii将来の展望,iv困難な状況の発生,v他者との相互作用の活性化,vi他者との実感と展望の共有,以上6つの段階のプロセスとして認識していることが明らかとなり,他の保育者と実践コミュニティを形成し,将来の展望を共有することの重要性を示した。

The use of medical supply vehicles (mobile pharmacies) as a disaster measure developed after the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011 when a massive tsunami destroyed the medicine supply system. In the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake, mobile pharmacies were dispatched from Oita, Wakayama, and Hiroshima and contributed to medical treatment in the disaster area. In this study, we conducted an interview to structure the mental conflicts of the pharmacists supporting the disaster victims by means of the mobile pharmacies, a novel medical support tool. We conducted a semi-structured interview of 21 pharmacists. The modified grounded theory approach was used for data collection and analysis. As a result, 36 concepts and 13 categories were generated. The support pharmacists maintained mobile pharmacies as a method for cooperation among multiple occupations, and talked about further collaboration in the operation of mobile pharmacies.

Today it is normal for women to partake in sports or exercise. This paper will firstly describe the current status of women in sport and exercise and its significance, using the actual practice and the current status of physical education at a woman's high school, Tokyo Woman's Christian University. Following this, the paper will investigate the background behind how Tetsu Yasui (1870–1945), the teacher who brought the fundamentals of physical education to the University, but was not a specialist in physical education, emphasized its importance in education, as well as looking into the history of physical education for women in Japan and how it has played such a big role to date. Lastly, the paper will aim to provide possible considerations for the future of physical education at the university.Sport and exercise is an effective method of supporting the health of the body and the mind, however the tendency for women to drop out of exercise between junior and senior high school is quite prominent, with nearly half of all students feeling out of touch with exercise once they graduate university. From the results of the study, it was found that the same problem has arisen for the students Tokyo Woman's Christian University.Yasui claims that "if physical education is not thorough enough, we cannot produce women with admirable qualities", and Tokyo Woman's Christian University has a history of keeping that ideology in mind, having placed a heavy importance on physical education in women from the opening of the school up until now. It is thought by the research group that they continue to combine further research and improvements to raise awareness of the social role that sport and exercise has for students in maintaining a healthy body and mind as well as forming solidarity with others, in the hope of guiding students to develop a broad view of the world while creating good relationships among people.今日では,女性がスポーツや運動をすることは当たり前のこととして捉えられるようになった.本稿では,まず女性におけるスポーツ・運動参加の現状と意義を述べ,女性の高等教育機関である東京女子大学の学生の実践及び身体教育の実態を述べる.そして同大学の体育の基礎を築いた安井てつ(1870–1945)が,体育の専門家ではないにも拘わらず教育活動において体育を重視するに至った経緯を調査し,同時に日本の女子体育史上,如何に大きな役割を果たしたかについて探っていく.併せて同大学におけるこれからの体育のあり方について考察することを目的とした.スポーツ・運動は心身の健康を維持するための有効な手段であるが,女性は中学校期から高校期にかけて運動をしなくなる傾向が顕著で,大学を終えると半数近くが運動と疎遠になる.東京女子大学の学生についても同様の事が調査の結果,課題として浮かび上がった.安井は「体育が充分に行き届かなければ,立派な品性ある女子を作ることはできない」との考えであったが,東京女子大学は開学以来今日までその理念を尊重すべく女性の身体教育を重要視してきた歴史がある.研究グループは今後も更に研究・改善を重ね,学生にスポーツ・運動実践を通して心身の健康や他者との連帯を図るという社会的役割を認識させ,良好な人間関係を築くとともに世界を見渡せる広い視野を養うよう導いていきたいと考える.

弱光条件下における芝草7種類の生育と光合成反応を実験によって把握した。その結果,(1) 耐陰性に優れるとされるケンタッキーブルーグラス, セントオーガスチングラス (緑葉) は他種に比較し弱光条件下で長期間生育できること, しかしセントオーガスチングラス (緑葉) は光強度増加にともなう光合成速度増加がケンタッキーブルーグラスよりも少ないこと,(2) セントオーガスチングラスの斑入種は緑葉種に比較し生育日数が短いこと, 光強度増加に伴う光合成速度増加が少ないこと,(3) ペレニアルライグラス, ケンタッキーブルーグラスは165μmol・m-2・S-1で飽和光合成速度に達することが推察され他種よりも健全に生育していることが把握できた。

(1)研究代表者、研究分担者、連携研究者が参加するグループウェアを十二分に活用し、研究活動に関する情報共有や連絡調整を行った。また、研究会を年度内に3回開催した。第1回(5月)では今年度の研究活動の方針を決定し、前年度に実施したサーベイ調査の分析作業を今年度の研究活動の柱とした。第2回(8月)では分析結果の報告を行った。第3回(11月)では研究成果の公表方針の打ち合わせ、分析結果の報告を行った。(2)研究課題に関連する先行研究をレビューし、必要な文献を収集した。第1に、国内外の官僚制に関する書籍、論文を収集した。第2に、国内外の教育・科学技術行政担当機構に関する書籍、論文を収集した。(3)文部科学省の課長以上の幹部職員全113人に対するインタビュー形式のサーベイ調査(中央調査社への委託、一部留置式、回収率約7割)の分析を行った。政策過程に関する認識、弘道、各関係者との接触態様に関する分析結果が得られた。これは本課題研究の中核に位置づけられる成果であり、本年度の研究実績として特に強調したい。(4)『文部科学省 国立大学法人等幹部職員名鑑』を用いて、文部科学省幹部職員のキャリアパスの電子データ化を行い、一部分析作業に着手した。さらに、文部科学省から地方政府への出向人事のデータベースを構築し、分析結果の一部を学内紀要に投稿した(印刷中)。(5)庁舎配置からみた旧文部省と旧科学技術庁の大臣官房における融合の状況、科学技術行政に関する聞き取り調査等を行った。

<p> 動物園や水族館で飼育動物が死亡した際,多くの施設では動物を剖検して必要な検体を採材・保存し,自施設で検査を実施,または外部の検査機関に検体を送付している。疾病診断や死因究明のためには様々な検査結果を総合的に判断する必要があるが,それは正しいサンプリング方法をとることが大前提となる。検体の採取,保存,輸送にあたっては,適切な方法で実施されなければ期待される検査結果が得られないことが多い。検査目的に合わせて適切な採材方法を選択することは,早期かつ正確な診断につながり,後に続く飼育個体の死亡を防ぐことができる。迅速で正しい診断を得ることは,飼育管理を円滑に行ううえでも不可欠である。検査が無駄とならないようにするためには,検査を依頼する側と実施する側双方の実情を知ることが重要であり,日頃からコミュニケーションを図る必要がある。</p>

【Purpose】A leg press generally included in a weight training program to develop the quadriceps. However little is known about the mechanism of the load in lower extremity by the different knee alignment. The purpose of this study is to compare the muscle activity in the different knee alignment during leg press exercise. 【Methods】Four normal knee and Five genu varum performed the leg press using three stance of narrow, medium and wide stance with the load of 75%/1 RM. Surface EMG date were collected (l000Hz) from vastus medialis (VM), vastus lateralis (VL), rectus femoris (RF), adductor longus (AL), biceps femoris (BF), tibialis anterior (TA), gastrocnemius (GAS), soleus (SOL). Integrated EMG (iEMG) values were calculated for each muscle during each rep. A video camera recorded the performing form during leg press from the frontal plane. 【Results and Discussion】As the leg press was to strengthen of the thigh muscle, VM, VL and RF of both groups worked strongly. However SOL of genu varum worked as strong as the level of activity of the thigh, iEMG of the SOL showed low value significantly by using wide stance. When the genu varum group performed maximal knee flexion using the narrow, their ankle was valgus on the video screen. This result may become cause of SOL higher activity during leg press. From this we can derive the argument that it will be necessary to take that stance into consideration when athletes who are genu varum performs leg press. (Jpn. J. Phys. 上越市立小学校の全児童(6才~12才)12,045名を対象に, 化学物質過敏症(Multiple Chemical Sensitivity:MCS)様症状を示す児童数を調べるアンケート調査を実施した。またMCSとの関連性が注目されている花粉症, アレルギー,「特に嫌いな臭い」を持つ児童数も合わせて調査した。調査票の回収数は10,348名分(回収率85.9%)であった。調査票で尋ねたMCS様症状は, 厚生省長期慢性疾患総合研究事業アレルギー研究班によるMCSの診断基準に記載された症状を, 児童の保護者が回答しやすい症状表記に改変して尋ねた。その結果MCS様症状を示す児童数は979名で回答児童の9.5%であった。また花粉症は19.3%, 花粉症を含むアレルギーは47.6%, 「特に嫌いな臭い」を持つ児童は32.7%であった。<BR>MCSはアレルギーとは異なると考えられているが, MCS様症状を示す児童でアレルギーを持つ児童は63.7%であった。一方MCS様症状を示さない児童でアレルギーを持つ児童は46.3%で両児童群に有意の差があった。同様にMCS様症状を示す児童は「特に嫌いな臭い」を60.5%が持ち, その症状を示さない児童は30.6%であり, 同じく有意の差があった。MCS様症状を示す児童, アレルギーを持つ児童, 及び「特に嫌いな臭い」を持つ児童の割合は, いずれも高学年になるほど上昇していたことから, 小学校児童の高学年ほど化学物質に敏感になっていると考えられた。

Many groups are researching a biped walking robot, although they have different objectives in mind such as applications of modern control theory, the study of mechanisms, or practical use to medical fields. The authors and others are engaged in studies of biped walking robots, with "human form" as a key word, from two points of view: one is human engineering, and the other is toward the development of anthropomorphic robots. The authors and others have obtained the following results to date. In 1984, the authors and others succeeded in achieving a dynamic biped walking of 1.3 [s/step] by the use of a hydraulic biped walking robot, WL-10 RD (Waseda Leg-No.10 Refined Dynamic). From 1986 to 1994, the authors developed hydraulic biped walking robots of the WL-12 series that compensated for lower limbs moment using an upper body and realized not only fast dynamic biped walking (0.54 [s/step] with a step length 0.3 [m]) but also walking on an unknown surface. In 1995, the authors developed an electrical powered biped walking robot WL-13, in which each leg joint is driven antagonistically via a rotary-type, nonlinear spring mechanism, and realized quasi-dynamic walking (7.68 [s/step] with a 0.1 [m] step length). In the current research concerning a biped walking robot, however, there is no developed example of a life-size biped walking robot which can perform manipulation and locomotion by dynamically coordinating arms and legs. Therefore, the authors proposed the construction of a biped humanoid robot that has a hand-arm system, a head system with visual sensors, and antagonistic driven joints using a rotary-type non-linear spring mechanism, on the basis of WL-13. We designed and built it. In addition, as the first step to realize the dynamically coordinated motion of limbs and trunk, the authors developed a control algorithm and a simulation program that generates the trunk trajectory for a stable biped walking pattern even if the trajectories of upper and lower limbs are arbitrarily set for locomotion and manipulation respectively. Using this preset walking pattern with variable muscle tension references corresponding to swing phase and stance phase, the authors performed walking experiments of dynamic walking forward and backward, dynamic dance and carrying, on a flat level surface (1.28 [s/step] with a 0.15 [m] step length). As a result, the efficiency of our walking control algorithm and robot system was proven. In this paper, the mechanism of WABIAN and its control method are introduced.

省エネルギーかつ利便性の高いシステムを構築するため、蓄電デバイスには、電気をたくさん貯めるだけでなく、電気の出し入れを高速で行うことも求められるようになってきた。高速充放電型蓄電デバイスの研究開発は、ナノテク材料製造技術とエネルギーデバイス製造技術という対象スケールの大きさがかなり異なる分野の融合領域であり、また、実用デバイス製造では要素技術の選択と融合が鍵となることから、構成学的にも興味深い研究開発分野と言える。この論文では、高性能キャパシタデバイス開発を目的に産学官連携で実施されたプロジェクトの開発経緯を実例として示しながら、材料技術シーズの探索からデバイス製造までの研究開発のアプローチや手法等を紹介する。

多数の人が日本庭園を訪れているが、何を目的に訪れているのか、日本庭園にどのような価値を見出しているのか明らかではない。本論では、日本庭園に対する評価を、ブログのテキストマイニングを通して得ることを目的とした。全国の有名庭園を対象に、Yahooブログ検索を行い検索結果件数を取得し、ブログから日本庭園を評価したデータを抽出して、テキストマイニング手法を用いて分析を行った。ブログの語句分析から一般利用者の各庭園に対する評価傾向がわかった。また、日本庭園の評価が「自然」「造形」を核として、「五感」「行為」という体験、「歴史」「建築」「借景」などの庭の個性を加味した、複合した要素からなりたつことがわかった。
