携帯無線機に用いるアンテナの一つとして、バラン付きスリーブアンテナが提案されている。このアンテナは、他のアンテナに比べ設置された置体上に高周波電流をあまり流さないといった長所を有している反面、パランの取り付けが容易ではなく、しかも強い強度を持たせることが必要になるという実装上の欠点も併せ持っている。そこで本論では、上記のパランのかわりに、筐体の表面にチョーク回路を構成する方法を提案し、その有効性を実験によって検討したので報告する。

Many active safety technologies for the driver support system are developing. Most of the traffic accidents are caused by driver's inattentive or drowsy. We are developing a driver support system that protects from traffic accidents by these causes. Our purpose is to detect the driver's face region by using a camera. A lot of face detection methods are proposed, but there is not a technique addressing every environment inside the car. For example, skin color segmentation can not detect the skin region in the night, because it has to light up the driver by bright light. In this paper, we propose a skin detection method by the unique reflection characteristics of the materials. Our method is very simple algorithm. We developed a skin detection system, and confirmed effectiveness by the evaluation experiment in indoor environment, and showed the effectiveness by a driving experiment in the night.

In order to investigate the effect of a hybrid system applied to rolling stock, it was evaluated to compare the fuel consumption of the existing confidential diesel railcars and diesel railcars of series and parallel hybrid systems with various batteries by running simulation. The hybrid railcars are powered by both diesel engines and electric batteries which can be stored the braking energy. Result of simulations, it was found that the maximum effect of fuel consumotion is 26% with Ni-MH battery in parallel hybrid system in main line operation at Takayama line and 33% in local line operation at Taketoyo line.

As digital broadcasting has become widespread and the available bandwidth for Internet access has become wider, more high-quality digital content has been distributed to users, making illegal copying a critical issue in the content business. New technology for identifying illegally distributed content is necessary to deter it. We developed two methods for identifying video content: the extraction of characteristic information from video and the use of phase-only correlation. A system was developed to apply these methods to digital TV programs. Experiments on four weeks of broadcast content gave good results, which suggests that a combination of the two methods would enable us to identify video content distributed illegally over the Internet precisely and quickly.

Because of the recent advances in the acquisition of human materials for research in addition to the value in the evaluation of the mutagenicity in humans, the use of human S9 fractions in the Ames test is starting to attract attention. However, until recently, available data on the mutagenicity with human S9 fractions has been limited. We have thus accumulated a large and extensive body of data on the Ames test with human S9 fractions during the last 5 years. In this report, these data are reviewed, and the utility of the human S9 fractions in mutagenicity testing systems is discussed.

本研究では,広告の「中心情報」を商品属性,「周辺情報」を商品名の典型性とし,情報探索や商品評価動機が強い高考慮商品カテゴリー,動機が比較的弱い低考慮商品カテゴリーにおいて,それらが商品に対する安心感, 好意度,購買欲評定に与える影響を検討する.実験は,大学生30名の参加者に対し,学習フェイズ,再生課題,評定フェイズの順で行った.実験の結果,高考慮・低考慮,両カテゴリーで周辺情報と中心情報が商品評定に促進効果を与えていた.また,パス解析の結果より,いずれのカテゴリーでも,属性がすべての尺度に直接影響を与えているのに対し,商品名の典型性が直接影響を及ぼすのは安心感のみであり,好意度や購買欲への効果は安心感を経由した間接効果であることが示された.低考慮カテゴリーにおいて,商品名の典型性の高低は属性による商品評定に影響を及ぼさず,両カテゴリーで,典型性が高い方の商品名再生数が多かった.

図書館においては,現実問題として収容能力の限界から図書廃棄を優先して考えざるを得ない一面もあるが,この一局面だけに捉われ過ぎては危険である。本来ライブラリアンは,利用者の視点に立ち,その利便性を考慮し,図書館サービスの向上に努めることを,第一に考えるべきである。石川島播磨重工業(株)技術情報センターでは,この観点も含め資料ごとに廃棄基準を定めている。2006年4月の当社の新本社ビル完成に伴う廃棄作業では,この基準に従って約15,000冊の図書,雑誌等を廃棄した。なお当社は,廃棄にあたり,環境に十分考慮している。

本研究では,GPSやコンパス等が取り付けられたビデオカメラを用いて撮影することで撮影位置・姿勢情報が付加された観光地映像を,その位置・姿勢情報に基づいて検索・閲覧する映像ブラウジングシステムを提案する.システムは,ユーザが効率的に観光地映像を閲覧するために,地理情報データベースを利用して,映像の検索を行う.本研究では,地理情報データベースとして,被写体の位置情報だけでなく,これまでに被写体が撮影された履歴情報から推定された各場所から撮影される各々の被写体の尤度を保持したものを利用する.また,プロトタイプシステムを用いて行った評価実験の結果を示す.

「学級」を同質的集団であるとする思い込み一学級文化主義はいま根本的な転換を余儀なくされている。相互行為の視点が導入されて久しいが,この文化主義を超える方法はいまだ模索の段階にある。合意形成研究が示すように,相互行為にみられる行為者の意味はもともと不確定である。とすると「学級」が異文化ないし個別文化が共生する空間へ転換する可能性は閉ざされているのか。本共同研究は,この共生の可能性について,まずは,保健室における養護教諭と来室者の会話記録から,両者の相互行為を解釈する方法として,エスノメソドロジーとコミュニケイション的行為論の有効性を検証することから着手している。検討と考察の結果は,養護教諭と来室者との間で相互に了解を志向する行為を解釈する方法はコミュニケイション的行為論による方法が有効であった。Changing a priori premise that classroom is homogenous group is almost inevitable nowadays. A view point of interactive action hat been discussed in fields of educational science and educational sociology: neversless the development of Methodology is till at groping level. According to the study of conflict and consensus, sense of actors in interactive action is naturally uncertainty. Then is the possibility of changing over schoolroom to a space coexisting with diverse individualties closed? This cooperative research aims at verifing the validity of theory of ethnomethdology and communicative action as the method to interpret interractive action between nurseroom attendance and school nurse. The result of verifing is the following: theory of communicative action by Habermas is more valid than ethnomethdology.
