本研究は、我々が作製したPACAP欠損(KO)マウスを含め3種類の遺伝子改変マウスを用いて、PACAPによる中枢・末梢神経機能調節等の発現機構、その生理・病態的意義を解明することを目的として実施し、以下の成果を得た。1.精神行動機能調節(1)PACAP-KOは、新規環境下の自発行動量の増加、異常ジャンプ行動、好奇心増大(または不安減少)を呈した。これらの精神行動異常は、抗精神病薬あるいはSSRIにより改善された。(2)PACAP-KOに音刺激驚愕反応prepulse inhibitionの低下(障害)が認められた。以上の結果は、PACAPが精神行動の調節に関与すること、本マウスの表現型が統合失調症あるいはADHDの病態と一部類似性があることを初めて示すものである。2.海馬機能PACAP-KOとPACAP1型受容体欠損マウスの海馬シナプス伝達長期増強(LTP)の障害、行動薬理試験におけるPACAP-KOの海馬依存性記憶・学習障害を見い出し、これら高次脳機能におけるPACAPリガンド-受容体シグナルの寄与を明らかとした。3.神経因性・炎症性疼痛神経因性・炎症性疼痛の発現がPACAP-KOでは消失していた。PACAPが痛覚過敏およびアロディニア(異疼痛)の発現制御に必須な役割を果たすことが示された。4.日内リズムPACAP-KOにおいて、光照射による日内行動リズムの位相変化および視交叉上核のc-fos誘導が減弱していた。光同調機構の維持にPACAPが重要な役割を果たすことがin vivoで示された。5.糖尿病態モデル(1)ストレプトゾトシン投与時の膵臓特異的PACAPトランスジェニック(Tg)マウスの膵臓では、β細胞新生が促進することが見い出された。(2)遺伝性肥満・糖尿病KKAyマウスとTgマウスとの交配による病態モデルにより、PACAPによる膵臓ラ氏島過形成の調節作用が見い出された。膵臓のβ細胞新生およびラ氏島形成をPACAPが調節することを示す本成績は、GLP-1属であるPACAPの臨床応用の可能性を支持する重要な知見として位置付けられる。

<p>X線天文衛星「ひとみ」搭載CCDカメラ(SXI)は、200μm厚の裏面照射型PチャンネルCCDを完全空乏化させ、0.4-12 keV の軟X線帯域で38分角四方の広い視野をカバーする。SXIは軌道上での立ち上げから、冷却後の天体データ取得に至るまで、期待通りの性能を示した。我々は軌道上データを用いて、線形性・電荷転送効率・応答関数・検出効率などを較正しており、本講演ではその現状について報告する。また、可視光漏れなど軌道上で発生した事象への対策についても報告する。</p>

大阪大学では,高いセキュリティレベルと標準的なインタフェースを兼ね備えた認証技術として注目されている公開鍵基盤(PKI: Public Key Infrastructure)に基づく全学IT 認証基盤を導入した.本学で導入した全学IT 認証基盤システムでは,署名・暗号化,学内認証,グリッドシステム認証,という異なるポリシに対応する複数のCA を導入・共存させている.これら複数のCA 向けの証明書発行を自動化することにより,安全性と利便性を両立した証明書発行サービスを実現している.また,PKI に対応したシングルサインオン(SSO)機能を導入し,学内ユーザが各システム間で統一的なインタフェースにより認証を行えるようにした.アプリケーションWeb サーバに認証機能を組み込むエージェント型のSSO 機能の導入により,1 度アプリケーションをSSO 対応させてしまえば,アプリケーションを変更することなくシームレスにパスワード認証からPKI 認証へ移行・共存することが可能となった.さらに,ユーザID 体系として,公開用に変更を許容するユーザID と,システム間連携用に1 人に1 つ決まる不変のユーザID とを設け,それらの対応付けを内部的に行うことにより,安全性・柔軟性ある運用を可能とした.本稿では,本認証基盤の設計と実装について述べるとともに,システムの導入により得られた技術的ノウハウや今後の展開についても述べる.

"The Nine Chapters on the Mathematical Art" was the oldest book of mathematics in China before the unearthing of "Suan-shu shu." The aim of our research is to provide a complete translation and annotation of it including annotations of Liu Hui(劉徽)and Li Chunfeng(李淳風)from the viewpoint of our previous work on "Suan-shu shu." This is the nineteenth article based on our research and results in which we studied the problems 15 to 21 of Chapter 6, Junshu(均輸)."The Nine Chapters on the Mathematical Art" was the oldest book of mathematics in China before the unearthing of "Suan-shu shu." 本研究では,自然光下の実シーンを計算機合成ホログラム(CGH)として記録するための手法として,市販のライトフィールドカメラであるLytroを用いる手法を提案する.本手法では,Lytroによって取得されたライトフィールドを波面に変換してCGHを計算する.また計算したCGHの光学再生実験を行い,本手法の有効性の検証を行った.

The Numazu Shopping District is distinct as it is the first and only shopping district to enact the Aesthetic Area Law. However currently redevelopment plans of the shopping district are being discussed due to aging buildings and decline in business demand. Therefore, it is essential to review the influences of the enacted Aesthetic Area Law upon shopping districts, especially from the point of view of the spatial changes in commercial and living space. The following three objectives will be clarified: 1) The historical construction process and changes in commercial demand within the shopping district. 2) The changes in space utilization influenced by the commercial demand. 3) The changes in the view of Aesthetic Area Law of building owners. In order to clarify these objectives, the lifestyle between building owners within Numazu Arcade Shopping District will be documented. First, the Aesthetic Area Law was enacted upon the Numazu Arcade Shopping District as a deregulation measure to construct buildings over the sidewalk. Through the review of commercial demand within the shopping district, it has been identified that there were three main phases that had an impact on the spatial transformation of the shopping district buildings. These changes were especially seen from the 1960s to the 1980s during the "Period of Commercial Peak", when many shop owners have expanded their buildings using their backyard space. This backward expansion was mainly cased by the regulation of the Aesthetic Area Law, as construction and expansion along the street side was restricted. Next, in order to look into detail of the transformation and spatial utilization within the Numazu Arcade Shopping District, a fieldwork survey was carried out. As a result, during the "Period of Commercial Peak", there was a demand for stockrooms and living space for employees, and many shops expanded their buildings. Yet, when the shopping district hit the "Period of Commercial Decline", large portions of the expanded space became unused, and it was also identified that there was a shift in the social occupancy of the buildings. Finaly, a hearing survey was conducted to identify the changes in view of Aesthetic Area Law between building owners. During the construction period, the building owners had maintained the townscape and took the Aesthetic Area Law into account. However, due to aging of the building and owners, it is becoming difficult to maintain the building facade and townscape. As a result, the importance of the Aesthetic Area Law had faded out within the building owners minds. On the on contrary, there are movements to improve the townscape of the shopping district, such as the installation of street furniture and plantation of flowers along the sidewalk. This act shows that building owners are raising consciousness of the townscape beyond the restrictions of the Aesthetic Area Law.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how findings in science education findings play a key role in the improvement of science lessons for secondary school students. Japanese university students created a science lesson on tomography for Singapore students as part of the TWINCLE program. We investigated the change of lesson plans, PowerPoint slides, teaching materials and worksheets on the topic of tomographic visualization before and after the lesson with our Singapore counterparts. The results of this study show three key points: 1. The process of improvement of the science lesson became a form of active learning for the university students. 2. The university students’ lesson plans and teaching materials were revised according to the context so as to find the location of blood clots present in blood vessels. 3. The revised hands-on activity exposed secondary school students to a more “authentic” application of the concept of tomography.

色素性痒疹は著しい瘋痒を伴う紅色丘疹が発作性に多発し, 後に粗大網目状の色素沈着を残す皮膚疾患である. その発症にケトーシスの関与も示唆され, 糖尿病領域でも注目されている. われわれは, 過去6年間に糖尿病に合併した色素性痒疹を3例経験したので, 文献的考察を含め報告する. 症例は20歳, 15歳および41歳の男性, いずれも糖尿病の発症時にケトーシスと癌痒を伴う紅色丘疹が出現し, インスリン治療開始後, 網状の色素沈着を残し軽快した. 糖尿病と色素痒疹の合併例の報告は本邦で11例と少なく, 偶然合併した可能性も否定できない. しかし, 両疾患においてHLAの交差が存在するので自己免疫機能が発症に関与している可能性も考えられる, 色素性痒疹の発症機序や, ケトーシスとの関連の解明のため, 今後さらなる症例の蓄積が必要である.

瘍性大腸炎(以下UC)の経過中に大腸粘膜生検組織よりCytomegalic Inclusion Body(以下CIB)を認めたので,その病的意義について免疫組織学的に検討した.当科のUC58例中,男2例,女1例の計3例にCIBの局在を認めた.いずれも罹病期間は長く,かつ重症例で,その内2例ではステロイドホルモン,アザチオプリン等の免疫抑制剤を投与していた.生検材料のホルマリン固定パラフィン切片でCytomegalovirus(以下CMV)抗原について抗CMV抗体を用い酵素抗体Peroxidaseantiperoxidase(以下PAP)法にて検討した.UCにおけるCIBの局在は潰瘍の近傍並びに小血管内皮細胞に認めた.これらの所見は潰瘍の成因および増悪に関与していると考えられた.CMVはHerpesVirus科に属しており,成人の約70%に不顕性感染が認められており,ステロイドホルモン,アザチオプリン等の免疫抑制剤の投与を契機に再活性化したものと考えられる.
