本稿は、日本のコンテンツ産業の特徴であるメディアミックスが、実際にどのように動いているかについて考察するものである。特にメディアミックスの現場で活動している実務者(KADOKAWA のライトノベル編集者)たちが、自分の職業とメディアミックスをどのように認識しているか、そしてその認識のもとでどのように実践しているかを、インタビューを通じて検討した。その結果、メディアミックスはあくまでも編集者本人の「書籍の販売数をより多くするための戦略」であって、彼らを動かす動力は創造的な動機ではなく、リスクに対する恐れからなるものであった。本稿はこのリスクを大きく分けて3 つあるものとみて、彼らがそれをどのように乗り切っているかを明らかにしている。3 つのリスクとは、第一がライトノベル市場の狭さ、第二が相手会社に対する不安、第三がメディアミックスされた作品の作品性に対する不安である。これらを克服するため、彼らはメディアミックスを念頭に置き、良い作品をつくろうと努力する。具体的な実践は次のようである。1つ目は、キャラクターをつくることに力を入れることで、イラストレーターの選定の際にもメディアミックスを考えながら進める。2 つ目は、相手会社(マンガやアニメ関係)に対する情報を継続的に収集し、場合によってはプレゼンテーションまでする。3 つ目は、編集者自ら発売のタイミングを調節し(コミカライズ)、脚本会議にも定期的かつ積極的に参加(アニメ化)することで、メディアミックス作品の完成度を高め、作品の魅力が失われないようにすることである。

<p>In order to allocate a rescue team with suitable capability required for a site, it is important to relevantly assess the rescue difficulty of each site for efficient resource utilization in disaster response. In this study, we used the empirical data on rescue operations conducted at collapsed wooden building sites during the 2016 Kumamoto Earthquakes collected by<b> </b>National Police Agency, and analyzed on the relation between duration times of rescue operations and some factors such as building damage grades, scales of rescue sites, situations of victim entrapments, and so on. As a result, it was found that damage grades and space scales didn't affect much on duration times and the affecting factors of rescue difficulty were found to be the situations of entrapments; pressurization and configurations under the victims.</p>

1.目的 気候学・気象学辞典(1985)によると、日最低気温とは「24時間内にもっとも低い気温」と定義され、「晴れた日は日の出前後に出現する」と言われている。 日最低気温の出現時刻を場合分けをせずに単純に集計すると、日界に近接した時間帯にその出現頻度が大きくなり、辞典の内容とは矛盾している。晴天日のみを抽出したいが、雲量データがないので他の方法を使用するしかない。 また1時間値よりも詳細な検討を期待して10分値を使用すると、情報量こそは単純に6倍となるが時刻特定を行おうとするといくつかの問題点が介在してくる。そこで本報告では、アメダス10分値を使用して最低気温の出現時刻の特定を行う場合、その問題点と手法について、北海道内の地点を一事例として試案を提示する。2.資料 解析資料は、気象庁提供のアメダス観測日報10分値(1999・2000・2000年の3冬期の1月と2月、計179日)とした。1979年以降のアメダス1時間値により日本低極を記録している(気象庁WEB・千葉,2000による)北海道旭川市江丹別の事例を用いた。 アメダス江丹別は、旭川市江丹別町にある地点で、「江丹別そば」で有名な地区である。石狩川水系の江丹別川流域の小盆地で、谷は南北に走る。放射冷却の発生しやすい地形となっており、気象官署の旭川と比較した報告なども存在するので比較検討に適した地点と判断した。3.方法と問題点 従来のように日界を午前0時とし24時間全てを解析対象とすると、当日日中の寒気流入などで午後に日最低気温が記録されるケースを拾ってしまう。晴天日の最低気温の出現時刻を特定するという意味があるので、午前0時10分から午前9時までに絞り、この区間を解析対象とした。 また、前夜半からの放射冷却が順調に進行したとしても、暖気流入などにより放射冷却が鈍化し最低気温が午前0時10分に記録されるケースもある。このような日界の影響による最低気温の抽出を極力避けたいので、場の統一も不可欠と考えた。さらに、擾乱や日変化の小さい曇天日を事例に含まないことが重要となる。しかしながら、各アメダス地点では雲量計測はなされていないので、179例の中で最低気温が低い事例を36例(20%)を抽出し、雲量が少なく放射冷却が進んだ日と見なした。抽出例からモデルケースとして、気温の低い方から5番目までの事例を示す。 さて、次にアメダスの分解能は0.1℃であるがその誤差は±0.25℃ある。気温最低値とその2位の値が0.2_から_0.3℃以内でかつ、両者に時間的な隔たりがあれば、2位のデータも軽視すべきではない。逆に最低値のみで議論するのは危険である。従って、当日朝の低い方から1位から6位までのデータも含め統計をとることにした。この抽出方法を使用すると、日界付近の事例は抽出されにくくなる。4.この方法による結果 上記の手法で抽出した結果、アメダス江丹別では午前6時30分の15例を最大に6時から7時20分まで7時10分まで9事例以上を記録し、日の出時刻(旭川7時4分_から_6時10分)とほぼ対応していることが明らかになった。

Escherichia albertii is an emerging zoonotic foodborne pathogen. Several outbreaks of E. albertii have occurred particularly in Japan. Although birds have been considered as one of the most important reservoirs of this bacterium, information regarding the prevalence in birds is still scanty. We performed a survey of E. albertii in wild birds in Japan, and examined characteristics of the isolates. E. albertii specific gene was detected in 5 cloacal swabs out of 156 birds by PCR. Four E. albertii were isolated from a swallow with 2 different E. albertii strains and 2 pigeons in a flock by XRM-MacConkey agar. These isolates were assigned to biogroup 3, shown no resistance to any antimicrobials tested, and classified into 2 EAO-genotypes (EAOg2 and EAOg33) and untypable. Similar to clinical E. albertii strains, these isolates carried virulence genes including eae (n=4), paa (n=4), Eccdt-I (n=2) and stx2f (n=1) in addition to Eacdt. Interestingly, stx2f genes in a strain were located on an inducible bacteriophage, which can confer the ability to produce Stx2f to E. coli. In conclusion, Japanese wild birds carried E. albertii at the similar levels to the reported prevalence in birds. These isolates may have a potential to cause gastroenteritis in humans.

Since 1960, the number of migratory farmers increased sharply with the high economic growth in Japan. Tohoku District was the largest supply region of them and occupied about 60% of the total migratory farmers. In this article, the author analyzes the changes in the farmer migration and its factors in Tohoku District in the periods of the 1960's.(1) In 1960, the ratio of farmer migrants was only 3.6% of the total farm households. The distribution of high ratio regions above 20.1% were scattered in Tohoku District (Fig. 1-A).(2) In 1965, the ratio increased widely in the district and registered even above 50.1% in some municipalities (Fig. 1-B).(3) In 1970, the municipalities in Tohoku District differentiated into two groups in ratio change; one group showing high value with increased ratio and the other showing low value with decreased ratio. The high municipalities were located in the areas of the high ratio in 1965, except Kunohe County in Iwate Prefecture (Fig. 1-C).(4) In the first half of the 1960's, the supply region of the farmer migrants expanded evenly, and in the latter half the high ratio area concentrated in several regions in the district.Upon to this time, agricultural factors such as the ratio of part-time farmers, the ratio of farmers with acreage of 3 tan, the ratio of paddy field to all fields have stated as the chief reasons of the farmer migration as a result of correlation analysis between them.The author tried to analyze these factors in Tohoku by the same method and found that no correlation exists between the above mentioned factors and farmer migration in the 1960's. The non-agricultural factors are also important for farmer migration. For instance, the area decreased in the ratio of farmer migrants in the latter half of the 1960's because the farmers increasingly found seasonal employment as coolies and day laborers.Therefore, the author believes that opportunities for employment in neighboring area was one of the important factors of farmer migration.

本稿は、筆者が1979年8月から1980年7月にかけて米国ミシガン大学ロースクールに客員研究員として留学した際に、当時同大学に留学中の伊藤真氏(現東京大学教授・民事訴訟法、当時は名古屋大学助教授)の発案による日米比較法研究会で、筆者が報告したディスカッション・ペーパーを掲載したものである。当時、ミシガン大学ロースクールには、岸田雅雄氏(現早稲田大学法科大学院教授・商事法、当時は神戸大学助教授)、丸田隆氏(現関西学院大学法科大学院教授、当時は甲南大学助手。陪審制度の研究で著名)、巽 高英氏(現警察庁長官官房審議官)をはじめ、各界から新進気鋭の日本人留学生が学んでおり、お互いに切磋琢磨しうる環境が整っていたこともあり、単に向こうから学ぶだけでなく、こちらから貢献できることはないかということで、ロースクールの教員、大学院生に参加を呼びかけてこの研究会が立ち上がったものである。ロースクールの錚々たるプロフェッサーも交えてのコロキュアムでは、自分の決定的な語学力不足もあり、終始借りてきた猫を決めこんだわけであるが、参加者は、いずれも日本法に関心が高く研究会立ち上げは成功したとの印象を持った。 コロキュアムは計5回開催され、日本側から私を含めて5名の者がそれぞれの専門分野からの報告を行なった(報告タイトルは、伊藤 真"Comparative Analysis of Out-of-Court Insolvency Procedures in the U.S. and in Japan",岸田雅雄"Enforcement of Japanese Securities Regulation",丸田隆司"One Aspect of Products Liability Doctorine in Japan : The Establishment of Strict Duty of Care in Food Manufacturing",巽 高英"Police System and the Control of Organized Crime in Japan")。 筆者は、当時の日本で新しい労働法上の理論課題として浮上してきた親子会社や企業集団における使用者概念の拡張問題を取り上げたのであったが、予想以上に反響があった。研究会に参加した労働法のSt. ANTOINE教授が、アメリカでもこのような問題は、Double-BreastedOperation(親子会社方式の経営形態を「ダブルの背広」にもじった用語)として論議されていると教えてくれたのには感激した。国と場所は違っても、利益追求という資本の論理は同じということである。帰国後、労働契約における使用者概念及び労働者概念は筆者の主要な研究テーマの一つになったが、懐かしい思い出の一コマである。

The performance was examined about the apparatus that dehumidified the steam included in compressed air by using the closed-circuit evaporative cooling tower. The steam included in compressed air is condensed easily, because the pressure rises. In general,we dehumidify the compressed air with a dehumidifier of the adsorption type or the freezer type. In this sturdy, we examined the performance of the apparatus that cools and dehumidifies directly by using the closed-circuit evaporative cooling tower.

本稿では、探偵デュパンの事件解決を支えたものは持ち前の分析的知性の力であったことを明らかにする。この知性は、構造主義の知見に通底する。ある人間の思考様式は、その人間が育った社会の思考枠に強く束縛されているので、その枠を超えた自由なも物の考え方はむずかしく、かなり限定的な思考に留まる。したがって自分の属する社会が許容する範囲内での思考様式から脱することができず、いきおい、無思慮に自分の思考を他の社会の思考にも適用してしまう、というのが構造主義の知見である。この悪癖が警視総監の捜査のつまずきのもとだとデュパンは見抜く。自分の思考も犯人の思考も同じだと見なしたところに総監の誤謬があった。そういう理解のもとにデュパンは、本来の系統的で数学者的な頭脳と固有の分析的な知性とを駆使して事件解決に漕ぎ着けることができた、というのが本論の結論である。 This paper is to make it clear that Dupin finally solves the crime,###making the most of his own analytical way of thinking.###According to the findings of structuralism, there is nothing to choose###between two cultures. More importantly, there is little to choose###between "pensee sauvage" and civilized people's "pensee" or thinking.###Even so, a particular way of thinking is part of one group's norm,###but not another group's norm. One group has an ethnocentric view###towards another group, and vice versa. The same can be said of the###difference in the way of thinking between the Paris police, or the Prefect,###and the Minister, or the thief of the letter.###Analyzing those two different ways of thinking on the basis of the###theoretical framework of structuralism, Dupin manages to solve one of###the most difficult conundrums for the Prefect. The success is due to###Dupin's idiosyncrasies in that he is methodical, analytical and###perfectionistic to the point of being very mathematically inclined.

Das primare Ziel des Nibelungen-Films war nicht Unterhaltung und Abenteuer, sondern "das deutsch Volk ... sollte sich ruhig schauend beschenken lassen, empfangend erleben und damit neu gewinnen, was ihm, dem Volk als Ganzem, angeblich nur blasse Erinnerung war: das Hohelid von bedingungsloser Treue" (Harbou). Die Inszenierung ist auf die "sinnliche Evidenz der Bilder" (Heller) angelegt. Die monumentalen Bauten oder die direkte Einfuhlung von Menschen in die Filmarchitektur sowie die statuarischen Bewegungen und Charaktere der Haupthelden unterstutzen die grundlegednde kunstlerische Aussage des Films. In der Verfilmung Langs geht es darum, vier unterschiedliche Welten miteinander zu kontrastieren : die "uberfeinerte Kultur" am Hof zu Worms, die "gespensterhaft-elfische" des jungen Siegfried, die "bleiche, eisige Luft" in Brunhilds Isenland und die "asiatische" Welt des Hunnenkonigs Etzel. "Es musste mir also darauf ankommen", so Lang in einem der zahlreichen programmatischen Aufsatze vor der Premiere, "in einer Form, die das Heilig-Geistige nicht banalisierte, mit den Nibelungen einen Film zu schaffen, der dem Volke gehoren sollte". "Dem Deutschen Volke zu eigen" lautet auch die Widmung, die dem Film vorausgestellt ist.

Mineralogy of semi-precious gems, such as nephrite, tremolite cat's-eye, blue chalcedony and veined stones, from Taiwan are reviewed, supplemented with some data (Fig.1). Nephrite and cat's-eye tremolite occur at the contacts of graphite-sericite schist and serpentinite sills in association with asbestus, talc and diopside-dominant skarn near Hualien (Fig.2). Cat's-eye tremolite was formed evidently later than nephrite. Nephrite jade is spinach-green to yellowish green in color; translucent to opaque. H. : 6.5 ; G. : 3.007-3.014. It is composed of sub-parallel tufts of fibrous tremolite in interfelted base with nephritic texture, accompanied by minor chromite, magnetite, picotite, garnet and chlorite which give rise to black spots or streaks (Fig.3). α : 1.609-1.612, β : 1.620-1.621, γ : 1.631-1.633 ; γ-α : 0.021-0.022. Noteworthy is that the Taiwan jade is similar in mineralogy to the New Zealand jade. Tremolite cat's-eye varies in color, from greenish yellow to black ; translucent to opaque. H : 6-7, G. : 3.000-3.045. It consists solely of fine, Ionger sub-parallel fibers of tremolite without nephritic texture. α : 1.612-1.613. β : 1.620-1.626, γ : 1.637=1.639 ; γ-α : 0.024-0.027. Both nephrite and cat's-eye are similar in X-ray data to tremolite from St. Gotthard, Switzerland (Table 1). Chemical analyses also revealed that no marked differences in cornposition exislt between nephrite jade and cat's-eye and between cat's-eyes of various colors, all showing about 10 % of the ferro-actinolite molecule (Tables 2 & 3). Minor uvarovite with 10% Cr_2O_3 and vesuvianite were first found in Taiwan (Tables 5 & 6). Blue chalcedony occurs as irregular small veins in andesitic agglomerate north of Taitung. It is deep sky-blue to greenish blue in color ; opaque to translucent. H. : 7 ; G. : 2.581 ; n : 1.539. Traversed by veinlets of chalcedony-quartz and quartz-pyrite, it consists mainly of radial-fibrous aggregates of chalcedony, with minor chlorite, opal and iron hydroxides (Fig. 5). Veined stones are produced on the Penghu Islands as globular concentric aggregates chiefly of calcite, aragonite and siderite in the amygdaloidal cavities of olivine-augite basalt (Figs.5 & 6). H : 3-4 ; G. : 2.83-3.30. Some gemological features of these gem materials are also given (Fig.4).
