As a method to make clear the reason why congenital dislocation of the hip is found more frequently in females than males, the differeences of the shapes of the pelves between male and female infants were investigated roentgenographically.Following measurements were taken upon the correctly taken X-ray photographs of the pelves of 287 normal male and female infants who were 0 month to 3 years of age, and of 57 dislocated infants of the same ages.a : The distance between the most outside points of the bilateral ilia.b : The distance between the most inside points of the bilateral ilia at the Y cartilages.c : The distance between the most inferior points of the bilateral ilia.d : The distance between the most outside points of the bilateral ischia.e : The distance between the most inferior points of the bilateral ilia at the sacro-iliac joints.f : The distance between the most inferior point of the bilateral ischia.θ : Acetabular angle (described only in normal infants) And the ratios : b/a, c/a, d/a, e/a, f /a, f /d, were calculated in each pelvis, and examined the change of the shapes of the pelves during their growth, and also examined the differences between males and females, normal and dislocated infants.The results obtained were as follows : 1) The sexual differences were found already in the neonatal pelves.2) Observing a pelvis as a whole, the constriction which occurs around the bilateral hip joints during the growth seems to correspond with the decrease of its acetabular angle.3) The constriction around the bilateral hip joints, and the rate of the growth between the major and the minor pelvis were distinct sexual differences of the pelvis.4) In the case of congenital dislocation of the hip, it should seem that even on the male the pelvis showed the similar shape and the process of growth to the female.

本研究の目的は, ICUに緊急入室した患者の家族員が表す情緒的反応を明らかにし, 家族員が状況に適切に対応できるための看護援助のあり方を検討することである. ICUに緊急入室した患者の家族員8名を対象に, 情緒的反応に関する内容について半構成的面接と参加観察による調査を行い,質的帰納的に分析し, 以下を明らかにした.ICU緊急入室患者の家族員の情緒的反応は,【先の見通しが立たない】,【医療者を信頼する】,【支えられている】,【負担に感じる】,【患者を守りたい】など, 17の主題にまとめられた. さらに, その意味の性質から,『回復の期待』,『医療への信頼』,『独りではない自分』,『課せられている自己』,『家族の絆』の5つの情緒的反応の本質が抽出された.家族員が状況に適切に対応できるための看護援助のあり方は, 家族員が回復の期待を持ち続けることができる援助, 家族員が医療への信頼を実感できる援助, 家族員が周囲の支援を効果的に使うことができる援助, 家族員が看病を長期的視野に入れることができる援助である.

Christaller and Lösch had used the hexagon as the modular unit in their models. One of the commonest criticisms for the hexagonal framework is that it is for too rigid and abstract. But Haggett was trying to test in his book whether hexagonal arrangement does in fact exist. One of his results was that one-third of Brazilian counties (municipios) had exactly six neghbours and the mean contact number (number of adjacent territories) was 5.71. Thus, he concluded that criticism for the hexagonal system as over-theoretical may have been too hasty. In this paper author is testing the contact number of some administrative areas in Japan. These mean contact numbers are 5.5 for the prefecture (fig. 1), 5.9 for the old state (fig. 2), 5.8 for the county (tab. 1), 5.5 for the communal unit and 5.7 for the section (fig. 4), Moreover, it is suggested that the frequency of the contact number (fig. 3 and 5) have the order of 6, 5, 4, 7 and 8. These results show that hexagon is the modular unit even in the administrative areas of Japan. It is also suggested that the frequency curve of the contact number tends to be identified with the stochastic one and is similar to Bunge's experimental result of the floating-magnet in the tab.

地域の変貌を進化の運動形態として捉え,山村地域の実体に迫ろうとした。 人口減少の動向から,四国山岳地方の東西を対比する.みつまた栽培を通じて,地域分化の様相を東部・西部比較しつつ考察した.西部の春焼式焼畑地域は解体し,高位置の林業地域と低位置の農耕地域とに分化しつつある。 林業地:域形成の営力を明らかにするため,公営事業滲透の事情と森林組合労務組織の意義・役割とについて述べた。 林地の開発を刺戟するChannelは新設の交通路線である.このような交通路が四国山地の分水嶺を横断する部分において,林業開発は誘発される.高知県本川村を対象に,林業労働を通じて,村が林業地域に編入されてゆく過程を捉えようとした。 地域の変貌をみると,地域は分化と複合のたえざる運動を繰り返しつつ,みずからの構造を深化してゆくことがわかる.

群馬県みなかみ町にて捕獲した3科7属11種のコウモリ類(アブラコウモリPipistrellus abramus,ユビナガコウモリMiniopterus fuliginosus,ヒメホオヒゲコウモリMyotis ikonnikovi,カグヤコウモリMyotis frater,モモジロコウモリMyotis macrodactylus,テングコウモリMurina hilgendorfi,コテングコウモリMurina ussuriensis,キクガシラコウモリRhinolophus ferrumequinum,コキクガシラコウモリRhinolophus cornutus,ヒナコウモリVespertilio sinensis,ニホンウサギコウモリPlecotus sacrimontis)のエコーロケーションコールから,コウモリ類専用の音声解析ソフトウェアSonoBat 3.1.6pを用いて,コールの開始・終了時の周波数や持続時間をはじめとする75種類の特徴量を自動抽出し,Random ForestおよびSupport Vector Machineの2種類の機械学習法を階層的に組合せた識別器を構築し,種判別を試みた.その結果,6,348のコールに対して10×10分割の入れ子交差検証で評価したところ,属レベルで96.3%(SD 0.06),種レベルで94.0%(SD 0.06)の正答率で判別ができた.また,大阪府吹田市北部の屋外で収録したエコーロケーションコールに対して,構築した識別器を適用してコウモリ類の種を推定し,活動の分布を地図化するプロセスを開発した.これらの結果をもとに,考察ではデータの追加に伴い識別器の精度が向上する可能性があることと種内変異が識別精度に大きな影響を与えることを議論した.フィールドへの適用では,識別器でコウモリ類の空間利用特性を把握し,地理情報と連携させることの有用性を議論した.最後に,エコーロケーションコールに対して機械学習法を用いた種判別と音声モニタリングをする際の今後の課題について述べた.

Poor medication adherence contribues to insufficient blood pressure management among hypertensive patients. This is especially the case for elderly people who, despite having control over their medicine intake, fail to take their medicine. As a solution to the problem of medication adherence, a one-dose package medication support system was devised (patent pending). This system alerts users about the time for medication intake by a chime. Further, if a patient forgets to take his or her medicine over a preset period, a voice message is automatically transmitted to his or her medication supporter via telephone. The purpose of this study was to clarify how this system improves medication adherence among elderly hypertensive patients living at home. The participants were four elderly patients and eight medication supporters (two per elderly person). During the experimental period, June to September 2013, medication adherence was investigated using the system and home blood pressure measurement. Following the experimental period, the participants and medication supporters were interviewed. Medication adherence during the monitoring period was 100%. For one participant, the role of medication management shifted from the family to the patient. The results show that this system could eliminate instances of forgetting to take medicine or inappropriate intake of medicine. They also show that the one-dose package medication support system can give an accurate understanding of a patient's medication adherence.

症例は75歳男性.血球減少・腎機能悪化・発熱・炎症反応高値に加え,抗好中球細胞質抗体(ANCA)陽性,抗二本鎖DNA(抗dsDNA)抗体陽性より膠原病が疑われたが心エコーにて僧帽弁に疣腫形成を認めたため,血液培養陰性であったが感染性心内膜炎(IE)として抗生剤を開始した.抗生剤に対する反応が十分ではなかったが,Bartonella属抗体の有意な上昇を認めたことが適切な抗生剤の選択につながった1例を経験したので報告する.

妄想の認知療法では,妄想の内容を変えることよりも,感情や行動を変えるほうが重要だという指摘がある。この考えに基づいて,本研究では,被害妄想に伴う感情を測定する尺度(EPDS)を開発した。大学生401名(男性209名,女性192名)がEPDSに回答し,そのうちの130名(男性60名,女性70名)が自己関係づけ尺度と妄想観念チェックリストにも回答した。構造方程式モデリング(SEM)を用いた検証的因子分析の結果,モデルはデータによく適合しており,因子的妥当性が確認された。EPDSと他の尺度との間には有意な相関が認められ,併存的妥当性が示唆された。また,尺度項目について高い判別力や高い内的整合性が得られた。これらの結果は,EPDSが十分な信頼性と妥当性を有することを示唆している。

自動車の走行状態および停車状態で車室内のオゾン,粉塵,超微粒子の濃度を,全外気導入モード,再循環換気モードの 2つの条件で測定した.登坂中のトラックの後方を走行中,車室内粉塵濃度は大きく上昇した.全外気運転中のオゾン濃度I/O比は再循環運転中のI/O比よりも高かった.乗員4名の状態で,車室内CO2濃度を計測したところ,全外気運転では CO2濃度は 600〜800ppmであった.その後,再循環運転を開始すると,CO2濃度は15分で3800ppmに達した.室内空気質の悪化が運転パフォーマンスへ及ぼす影響を検討する必要がある.
