Known as the greatest incident in Chines Muslim history, the Muslim rebellion in the Shaanxi and Gansu provinces (1862-1878) has also attracted attention as being one of the peasantry rebel. lions near the end of the Qing dynasty. However, by analyzing the outbreak and spread of the rumors frequently occurring before and during the rebellion, a different image of the Muslim re bellion can be conceived, There was orderly discipline between Han and Hui in the Wei River area before the rebellion, even though occasional strife, such as feuds, and a strong sense of having a different culture and society among each other existed. Focusing on the change of content of the rumors, the Muslim riots in the Wei River area in 1862 was the outbreak of the Han and Hui differentiating each other and destroying the order that had existed between them. Each society fighting for its survival, it can be said that this rebdlion had the characteristic of an "ethnic conflict". Also taking into account of the impact and spread. ing process of the "Wash away Muslims" rumors on the Han and Hui societies, this rebellion was closely related to the formation of militias. Occurring a midst of the militarization process, the Muslim rebellion of the Wei River area shared aspects similar to the other rebellions occurred all over China in this period.

The spinal nerves supplying the wing membranes of Japanese little horseshoe bats, Rhinolophus cornutus were studied. The wing membrane was innervated by nerve branches of the radial, ulnar, and median nerves, showing that the membrane was formed from the skin of the forelimb rather than that of the thoracolumbar skin. The radial nerve was mainly composed of the ventral rami of C7–T1, the ulnar nerve by C8–T2, and the median nerve by C8–T1. These components of R. cornutus tended to be from a narrower range of spinal nerves and to position more caudally than those of humans. In addition, the ulnar nerve showed a distribution pattern different from that of other mammals.

ラヴジョイは、『存在の大いなる連鎖』において、ヨーロッパ思想史上、プラトン以来の主要な観念図式として「存在の連鎖」を抽出し、ヨーロッパの自然・社会認識のあり様を特色づけた。神によって個別に創造されたすべての種(生物・無生物)は、最も高等なもの(天使)から最も下等で原始的なもの(鉱物)にいたるまで、「欠けている環」のない単線的な階層秩序を形成している、という世界観をこの観念図式は含意しており、18世紀に空前絶後の普及を達成していた。詩人ポープは哲学詩『人間論』でこうした世界観を典型的に表現した。本稿は、バークとマルサスのデビュー作がともに『人間論』からの引用を含んでいる事実を出発点として、両者における政治的保守主義と経済的自由主義の結合の知的起源を「存在の連鎖」の観念図式およびその変容(時間化)に求め、英国近代保守主義が啓蒙思想に対する反動的側面ぼかりでなく啓蒙思想の「末子」あるいは「一ヴァリアント」としての進歩的側面(漸進的改革論)も有することを明らかにする。

We present a three-dimensional minimal model that produces a self-sustained oscillation reminiscent of the quasi-biennial oscillation (QBO) in a radiative–moist convective quasi-equilibrium state. The computational domain is rectangular (640 km × 160 km) with doubly periodic boundary conditions. After initial transient time, an oscillation with a period of about 300 days emerges in the stratosphere, both in the domain-averaged zonal wind and meridional wind. A synchronization of the zonal and meridional winds is observed and is characterized as an anti-clockwise rotation of a skewed spiral feature with height in the mean horizontal wind vectors. The QBO-like wind oscillations penetrate into the troposphere. Modulation of tropospheric temperature anomalies and precipitation occurs with an irregular period of about 100 days, in which heavy precipitation is associated with positive temperature anomalies. The simulation reveals three types of precipitation patterns: isolated quasi-stationary type clusters, fast-moving back-building type and squall-line type patterns. The quasi-stationary type is newly identified in this three-dimensional model. Intermittent self-organization of convective systems into quasi-stationary type and transition back to the fast-moving back-building type or squall-line type are fundamental characteristics of self-aggregation in the three-dimensional model.

症例は52歳,男性.高血圧内服治療中であった.2008年9月,仕事のストレスから自殺を図り,降圧剤を大量に内服し当院へ救急搬送された.緊急入院後,低血圧に対して大量輸液・昇圧剤投与を行った.呼吸不全,腎不全も併発した.集中治療中であった第8病日に突然著明な腹痛が出現した.腹部CT検査にて腸管壊死を疑い,緊急手術を施行した.術中所見は便汁様腹水があり,バウヒン弁から60cmの小腸から横行結腸にかけて分節状・非連続的な腸管壊死と穿孔を認めた.壊死腸管を切除し回腸,横行結腸に人工肛門を作成した.術後経過は良好で,術後47日で軽快退院した.降圧剤大量服薬によるnonocclusive mesenteric ischemia (NOMI) の本邦報告例はみられないため,若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する.

本研究では経口抗不整脈薬の先発医薬品とジェネリック医薬品を比較した臨床試験を網羅的に把握し,その内容のレビューと研究デザインをもとにエビデンスレベルについて評価した。文献は,Pubmedと医学中央雑誌を検索し,Vaughan Williamsの抗不整脈薬の分類表に表記されている薬剤を対象とした。また,ジェネリック医薬品に対する著者の記載内容から肯定的文献と否定的文献に分けて評価を行った。さらに収集した文献のエビデンスレベルを評価した。結果,20文献が今回の調査対象となった。内訳は肯定的文献が14文献,否定的文献が6文献だった。肯定的文献にはβブロッカーを含む循環器領域の治療薬を対象にしたエビデンスレベルⅠに評価される研究があるなど,臨床効果や安全性を評価した文献のエビデンスレベルが有意に高いことが明らかになった。否定的文献は,数症例を対象にした症例報告や記述研究による報告が多く,研究方法や患者の詳細な情報について記述がないものもあったことから,ジェネリック医薬品に対して否定的な文献の方が肯定的な文献よりもエビデンスレベルが低いと判断された。

本年はグレリンの遺伝子発現調節機構について研究を行った。グレリンの発現・分泌調節はグレリンの生理作用を調節する上で非常に重要であるが、グレリンの発現・分泌を調節する因子としては、現在のところ空腹シグナルしか知られていない。そこでグレリンの遺伝子発現調節に関与する因子を探索するために、ヒトグレリン・プロモーターシークエンスをルシフェラーゼ発現ベクターに組み込んだレポーターベクターを作成し、グレリン遺伝子発現を調節する転写因子の研究に取り組んだ。グレリン・プロモーター配列において、これまでに明らかでなかったグレリン遺伝子発現の抑制領域を見出した。グレリン・プロモーターの-1600領域付近まで削ったベクターでは、プロモーター活性が低下した。またコンピューターサーチによってグレリン遺伝子のプロモーター領域に結合する転写因子の候補を探索し、その中で入手できたものについて、プロモーター活性に及ぼす影響を調べた。その結果、グレリン遺伝子のプロモーター活性を調節する転写因子として、抑制性のNF-kBと促進性のNkx2.2が関与していることを見出した。グレリン遺伝子のプロモーター領域に抑制性の領域を見出した。この結果グレリン遺伝子は正負のバランスによって発現調節が行われていると考えられた。またリポポリサッカライド(LPS)投与によって敗血症性ショックに陥るが、このとき血中グレリン濃度の減少が見られる。LPS投与によってToll-like4受容体が活性化され、引き続いてNF-kBが活性化される。NF-kBによってグレリン遺伝子のプロモーター活性が抑制されることから、LPS投与による血中グレリン濃度の減少にはNF-kBが関与している可能性が強いと考えられた。

The mechanical strength of ices, especially for the glacier has been studied since 19th century. However, there are few industrial applications such as mechanical processing tools without ice-blast. Because the specific data of mechanical properties for ice are unknown. Therefore, we produced four types of ices which had different clearness using aeration system, and measured the hardness of ices from 77 K to 268 K. Furthermore, the indentation displacements were also measured during the hardness test, so that the Elastic Recovery Ratios of ices were investigated in this study.

現在使用されているバタートラップは, 捕集能力がはなはだ低いので, この改良のための検討と, 規格化のための資料を得るため, チャバネゴキブリを対象に, 実験装置内で実験を行つた. 0.15m^3の金属缶内に, 16箇の腰高シャーレを用い, 4種の試料を組合わせて, 4×4のラテン方格による配置で, 誘引餌の効力比較を行つた. 50種の試料について23種の組合わせを行い, 延47回の比較実験を行つた結果, 米ヌカ, ヒエ, 某社製毒餌剤が他に比べて捕集力が高い傾向がみられた.トラップ容器の形態の検討として, 腰高シャーレと, 3種のプラスチック容器を比較したが, 腰高シャーレが最もよく集めた.トラップの内壁には, マーガリンを上半部に塗つた場合が, ワセリンよりも, そして, 下半部に塗つた場合より多くの虫を捕集した.トラップの外壁には, 何も巻かないより, そして新聞紙やばんそうこうを巻くより濾紙を巻いた方が多く虫を集めた.濾紙は, 新品よりも, 5%白砂糖液に浸したものが多く虫を集めた.以上の結果から, チャバネゴキブリに対しては, 腰高シャーレを用い, 内壁上半部にマーガリンを塗り, 外壁には砂糖水に浸して風乾した濾紙を巻いたものが, 最も捕集力が高いものと考えた.なお, 深さ6cm, 口径9cmの大きさで, 少くとも, チャバネゴキブリ雌成虫200匹までは脱出逃亡させないで捕集できる.
