As demonstrated in our previous paper, according to Spinoza’s agent-causation model, a thing’s conatus (striving) to produce or maintain its affectio (act or state) and its determinatio (causal determination) to produce or maintain its affecto are identical. Such conatus/determinatio bears predicational contents and thereby corresponds to the mental affirmation of ideas in the divine infinite intellect that comprises human minds. In this paper, we propose that Spinozistic mental representations are substantially based on the conatus/determinatio viewing a thing’s action or agent-causation as divine self-predication. For example, when a dog runs, the dog divinely selfpredicates its running as its affectio of itself as a subject. Such predication is self-reflexive in two ways: (1) The roles of the “subject term” and the “predicate term” are played by the signified thing and its affectio, respectively, rather than by external signs. (2) The subject of the predicative act is the “subject term” itself. Furthermore, we consider such self-predication as divine owing to two reasons: (1) It is an aspect of the basic causal process of Deus, seu Natura (God, or Nature). (2) The ultimate subject of such predication is Deus, seu Natura itself, and it predicates its affectio of itself. We also propose that such divine self-predication is regulated through a divine syntax, which is identical to the ontological structure existing in the world and the laws of nature. Conversely viewed, this suggests that the Spinozistic ontological structure and causal laws have an intrinsic communicative characteristic, similar to linguistic syntax.The aforementioned considerations have an important implication for the status of ideas. On the one hand, Spinozistic ideas are considered as truthbearers. Unlike general viewpoint, these truthbearers are not abstract propositions; rather, they are propositionally-structured mental acts involving affirmative forces. On the other hand, divine self-predicative acts are truthmakers, which possess propositional structures and predicative forces owing to the conatus/determinatio. Additionally, their common forces, which are indeed the one and same force, play majority of the fundamental roles required for mental representations. Hence, to realize full-fledged mental representations, merely a correlation is required between two different but isomorphic divine attributes, namely thought and extension. Such a correlation can turn mere modes of thought into ideas, but it can only provide a superficial status to them as external signs of bodies.Furthermore, we suggest that the self-reflexive characteristic of divine self-predication provides the foundation for “ideas of ideas,” which will be discussed in detail in our next paper.

This paper deals with the history of Women discount at film theaters in 1980s-90s. Using cinema sections of a Japanese magazine "Pia", this paper shows when and what kind of theaters started women discount, how the theaters offering women discount increased, and the character of the theaters offering women discount. In addition, we analyze the difference between 1980s women discount and 1990s women discount.

今回の金融危機にも見られるように,マクロ経済学は社会心理によっても影響を受ける.ヒット曲も経済や社会の状況を意識してリリースされる以上,その性質は経済や社会の状況をよく反映されると考える.本稿では,経済社会の状況を反映した大衆消費文化の代表として,日本の昭和期および平成期に流行ったヒット曲の性質(調性,テンポ)とその年の経済状況に有意な関係があることを示す.

ReproducibiliTea Tokyo, a Tokyo branch of a worldwide journal club movement on open and reproducible science, was introduced. We present how it came about, how it operates, and the topics discussed in the past three years since its inception in 2020. We hope the report serves as an example of the management of an online academic community in the post Covid-19 era.

失語症は, それまでに獲得されていた言語機能が脳損傷によって何らかの程度に障害された状態である。口頭言語だけではなく文字言語や内言語にも影響が及び, コミュニケーションに支障をきたすため, その対応に際しては多面的な捉え方が必要である。コミュニケーション場面における支援では, 失語症の本人はもちろんのこと関係者に対しても情報提供をすることが必要であり, 非言語的側面にも配慮するべきである。

作業に根ざした実践(Occupation-Based Practice 2.0:OBP 2.0)は,クライエントの作業機能障害を評価しつつ,それを取り巻く信念対立に対処していく方法論である.本報告では,地域在住で脳卒中後遺症を有するクライエントに対してOBP 2.0を用いた評価と介入を実施し,訪問作業療法(訪問OT)におけるOBP 2.0の臨床有用性を検討した.その結果,作業機能障害の改善と生活機能の向上が見られ,作業療法士,家族とクライエントの間で生じた信念対立の解明が進んだ.OBP 2.0は,作業機能障害の改善に向けて訪問OTの方針の共有と,状況に応じ様々な方法の使用ができると考えられた.また,クライエントや周囲の人々と協業した訪問OTを促進できた.

若者の「学校から職業へ」の移行過程をネットワークという視点から論じてきた研究は,ネットワークが若者を支える一方で,そのネットワークの閉鎖性・限定性が若者を職業達成から遠ざけることを強調してきた.こうした機能主義的な説明からは,限られた条件内で若者がいかにしてネットワークを活用し,その創造を図るのかという課題が導出される。 本稿は,ノンエリート青年という視角から,若者を主体的な存在として位置づけることで上記の課題に取り組んだ。具体的には,沖縄で居酒屋を経営する若者集団の経営実践を記述した。明らかになったことは,(1)地縁・血縁ネットワークを活用して居酒屋をオープンし,(2)そのネットワークはオープン後も活用され,(3)また,イベントの開催などを通じて職縁・客縁ネットワークを創造する側面であった。(4)そして,地縁・血縁・職縁・客縁ネットワークは,かれらの日々の働きかけによって維持されていた。 以上,若者を主体的な存在として位置づけることで浮かび上がってきたのは,ネットワークを資源化・重層化させながら,職業達成に向けて合理的に取り組む若者たちの姿である。本稿の意義は,従来の研究が看過してきたそれらの側面を実証的に示し,機能主義的説明の問題点を指摘した点にある。

「OLYMPUS OM-D E-M1」 は,フォーサーズ規格準拠の一眼レフカメラと,マイクロフォーサーズ規格準拠のミラーレスカメラを統合する,オリンパスの新フラグシップカメラである.「OM-D E-M1」 は,オリンパス最高画質や新EVFシステム,耐環境性など,フラグシップ機に相応しい機能・性能を持つ.特に,コントラストAFと像面位相差AFを組み合わせた 「DUAL FAST AF」 は,2つの規格を統合するのに重要な役割を果たした.本稿では,像面位相差AFの開発における技術的なポイントについて紹介する.

Downscaling simulations of MIROC6 (the sixth version of Model for Interdisciplinary Research on Climate) data using the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model were performed to investigate future changes in the Japan Sea polar airmass convergence zones (JPCZs) related to heavy snowfall events in the Sea of Japan–side region of central and northern Japan. WRF downscaling simulations showed a northward shift of JPCZs and the associated changes in precipitation distribution. Rainfall increased significantly over the central part of the Sea of Japan and in the Tohoku region. On the other hand, snowfall decreased significantly over the entire Sea of Japan. However, there was a significant increase in snowfall in the inland mountainous areas of the Tohoku region. Jet streaks shift northward in the future climate, which was confirmed in the MIROC6 data. Reflecting such future environments, WRF downscaling simulations showed that a mesoscale cyclonic circulation anomaly passing over Hokkaido from the Sea of Japan, which is not resolved by MIROC6, contributes to the northward shift of JPCZs and the associated changes in rainfall and snowfall.
