LC/Tribrid Orbitrapを用いて強壮系健康食品中のphosphodiesterase-5 (PDE-5)阻害薬および構造類似体を迅速かつ確実に同定できる分析法を開発した.液体クロマトグラフの移動相に5 mmol/Lギ酸アンモニウム含有0.1%ギ酸溶液(pH 3)および0.1%ギ酸含有アセトニトリル溶液を使用し,C18カラムでPDE-5阻害薬および構造類似体を分離した後,higher-energy collisional dissociationおよびcollision-induced dissociationの2種類の解離法を用いて複数のMS/MSおよびMS3スペクトルを同時に取得した.本分析法を市販強壮系健康食品および個人輸入医薬品105検体に適用したところ,いずれの検体からもPDE-5阻害薬および構造類似体を検出することができた.さらに,検体から検出された3種類のPDE-5阻害薬の構造類似体と15種類のPDE-5阻害薬および構造類似体の不純物について,本分析法を用いて構造を推定した.本法は強壮系健康食品中に含まれるPDE-5阻害薬および構造類似体の迅速かつ確実な同定および構造推定に有用な方法である.

Artificial tail flukes were developed for a bottlenose dolphin that lost most part of the tail flukes due to a serious disease in October 2002. The dolphin named FUJI has been kept in Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium since 1975. A joint project was started to develop artificial flukes in 2003 to recover normal revel swimming ability. At the process of the development, finite element method analysis and towing test in water tank were carried out. The artificial flukes were composed of silicone rubber and inserted FRP reinforcement. FUJI recovered swimming speed and even jumping ability by the artificial tail flukes as she had before.

Japan occupied the island of Hainandao just before the Asia Pacific War.The Japanese army murdered many Hainandao inhabitants during this occupation. Nevertheless the facts of these massacres have been suppressed and neglected by japanese government and people after the war. We have been researching the facts of the massacres by the Japanese army through interviews with the survivors in Hainandao. As a result we found these massacres did not happen accidentally, but were purposely carried out in accompaniment with the military operations of the Japanese army. These massacres took place continually from February 1939 to August 1945. I analyzed the Military Diary of the Japanese Navy in Hainandao. Recorded in this diary is not only military operations in the narrow sense, but also various government policies. For example, the mining of natural resources, management of land, control of prices, the education for the island inhabitants, and securing human resources. The aim of the Japanese army was to continue its war effort by pillaging resources, food, and using forced labor, among other things. It tried to construct a sphere of self-sustenance by pillage of its occupied countries. Many government policies were necessary to construct this sphere of self-sustenance by pillage. It shows the particularity of Japanese imperialism in comparison with Occidental imperialist practices.

民間団体「海南島近現代史研究会」の一員として3年間で5回海南島を訪問し、侵略犯罪の犠牲となった方々から、日本政府・日本軍・日本企業によって被った被害の状況について話を伺った。この聞き取りを通して、殺害された方々の氏名、人数を確認すると同時に、住民虐殺、食料・資源・土地・家財・家畜・諸資源などの略奪、諸産業の支配、性暴力、強制労働などの実態を記録した。さらに、このような日本国家の侵略犯罪が敗戦後70年にわたって明らかにされてこなかったことが戦後日本社会のありかたにどのようなかたちで投影されているのかを検討し、日本の近代社会を植民地主義の視座から再考した。

本研究は、国民国家が形成される19世紀を中心とし、軍人のグローバルな移動による人的ネットワークと、軍事関連書の翻訳・流通・受容という分析視角から、軍事的学知の交錯を研究するものである。日本・フランス・ドイツを主とし、オランダ・オスマン帝国・清朝を参照系と位置づけ、軍人と軍事関連書(人とモノ)の移動から、軍事的学知(学知)に光を当てることにより、軍事史的観点からみた新たな世界史像を提起したい。

1980 年代から 2000 年にヒットした邦楽の楽曲構造を分析し可視化を行った.対象として,オリコンランキングの 1980 年から 2007 年の各年で Top10 に入る楽曲について調査した.本研究では,曲のサビに注目し,コード進行の頻度やパターン,シンコペーションの数,動機のパターンを取り上げ,年毎にその特徴を分析した.We analyzed and visualized the music structures of the Japanese pop music that made the hit from the 1980s to 2000s. The musical pieces investigated here are that the music ranked in Top10 at each year of the Oricon ranking from 1980 to 2007. In this study, we focused on sabi (chorus) of the music and investigated the characteristic of the chord progression, the number of syncopation and the pattern of the motive.

This study was performed to determine the frequency and degree of sleep disturbance in patients with dizziness using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, Japanese Version (PSQI-J), and investigate the relationship between dizziness and sleep disturbance. Fifty-two patients (20 male, 32 female) with a chief complaint of dizziness visited the dizziness clinic of the Department of Otolaryngology, Tokyo Medical University, for 3 months in 2013. The patients' age (average ± standard deviation) was 54.4±17.0 years (range, 10-88 years). The average PSQI global score was 7.6±4.2 points, which exceeds the 5.5-point cut-off for insomnia. In total, 67.3% of patients scored >6 points, and 35.8% scored >9 points, indicating definite sleep disturbance. With respect to the demography of disease groups, patients with Meniere's disease scored an average of 7.9 points, those with autonomic imbalance scored 8.8 points, and those with psychogenic dizziness scored 9.7 points; all of these diseases were associated with high PSQI scores. Patients with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo and patients with no abnormal findings showed relatively low scores (6.7 and 5.3 points, respectively). Patients with suspected sleep apnea syndrome, restless leg syndrome, and parasomnias tended to show high scores (>10 points). A high rate and high grade of sleep disturbance were confirmed in patients with dizziness, indicating that sleep quality affects several types of dizziness and vertigo. Understanding sleep disorders is helpful for the diagnosis and treatment of dizziness and provides a new perspective on the etiology of dizziness.

Two kinds of road racer bicycles are employed to research vibration characteristics of driving bicycles. After obtaing the natural frequencies and modes by vibration test in the non-driving state, practical driving tests are carried out. The acceleration of vibration in the middle of the handles and under the saddles are measured and the corresponding spectral density functions are calculated based on FFT method. The results show that in the driving bicycles, the dominant frequencies exist between 10 Hz and 50 Hz and the lower two modes in the non-driving state are excited.

北半球全陸地の約6割に分布する凍土は,地球上最大規模の雪氷現象であり,様々な時空間規模での気候・水循環過程に関与していることは想像に難くない.しかしこれまで水文・気象学分野では凍土過程はブラックボックスとして取り扱われることが多かった.地球温暖化問題の顕在化を受け,これからは凍土過程に焦点を当てるとともに,凍土と水文・気象・気候学的現象との関わりを解明していくような研究を推進する必要がある.このような学際的な研究分野を創出するのに必要な知見として,本稿では凍土の構造や定義,活動層変動,活動層の水熱循環特性,活動層―大気間相互作用,流域規模から全球規模までのモデルを用いた凍土分布,などの研究成果をレビューする.将来的には,観測とモデルが有機的に結びつくような研究体制の構築が強く望まれる.これには,モデルを意識した広域的な観測体制を確立することや,観測で解明されつつあるプロセスを最適にモデル化することなどが含まれる.

A hierarchical Bayesian approach is formulated for nonlinear time series prediction problems with neural nets. The proposed scheme consists of several steps : <BR>(i) Formulae for posterior distributions of parameters, hyper parameters as well as models via Bayes formula.<BR>(ii) Derivation of predictive distributions of future values taking into account model marginal likelihoods.<BR>(iii) Using several drastic approximations for computing predictive mean of time series incorporating model marginal likelihoods.<BR>The proposed scheme is tested against two examples; (A) Time series data generated by noisy chaotic dynamical system, and (B) Building air-conditioning load prediction problem. The proposed scheme outperforms the algorithm previously used by the authors.

手術時手洗い時に使用する手洗い方法・製剤による消毒効果・手指の皮膚に与える影響の違いを検討した。その結果、擦式手指消毒剤の種類、手洗い方法にかかわらず、手洗い直後、4時間後共に明らかな消毒効果が認められた。手洗い方法による皮膚の保湿性の違いは認められなかったが、フォーム状製剤の方が、ジェル状製剤に比べ手洗い2時間後の時点での保湿性に優れていた。利便性、費用、皮膚への影響等を総合的に判断すると、フォーム状製剤を用いたウォーターレス法は手術時手洗いとして非常に有効な方法であると考えられた。

近年,センサネットワーク技術の発展,GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System: 全世界的航法衛星システム) 機能を持つ小型デバイスの普及により位置情報サービス(LBS: Location-based Service) の利用分野が急速に拡大し,注目が集まっている.LBS で用いる情報は実世界の様々な情報であり,常に増加していくものである.そのため分散環境にて情報を管理する必要がある.また実世界の情報は位置依存情報であるため,位置情報を加味した管理方法が問われる.そこで本研究では,地理位置情報を扱うスキップ構造を用いた P2P ネットワーク GeoSkip を提案する. GeoSkip は,各ノード毎にそのノードを中心に一定の角度で空間を分割し,その分割エリアごとにリンクを構築することで,1 次元の情報のみ扱う従来の SkipGraph の概念を 2 次元に拡張する.これにより位置依存データの効率的な分散配置,検索を行う.GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) equipped mobile devices and the improvement of the technology for sensor networks have enabled Location-based Services. The location-based services deal with real world information which is collected from mobile devices and sensors. Due to large amount of collected data, we should manage such data in distributed fashion. This paper proposes a scalable peer to peer network architecture, called GeoSkip. Geoskip extends 1-dimensional SkipGraphs to 2-dimensional content space in order to achieve efficient data processing for location-based contents.

1996年6月より我々は整形外科関節手術用シェーバーシステムである, SE5, ペースセッター (ラージハンドピース) をESSに使用し始めた。56例 (99側) にSE5 (あるいはペースセッター), ハマー, 通常手術器具でESSを行い, その有用性の検討を行ったところ, SE5 (あるいはペースセッター) 使用症例 (あるいは側) はハマー, 通常器具使用症例 (あるいは側) に比して, 手術時間, 出血量, 術中副損傷, 創傷治癒など全てにおいて優れていた。シェーバーの安全性, 有用性はそのままで, ハマーの欠点を克服できた。SE5, ペースセッターは整形外科で広く普及していて, すでに所有している施設も多いため, 多くの耳鼻咽喉科医が, すぐにでもESSにシェーバーを使用できるという利点もある。
