We describe a new sea spider species, Pantopipetta hosodai sp. nov., based on one juvenile female collected from a submarine cave ('Akumanoyakata' Cave) in Shimojijima Island, Miyako Island Group, Ryukyu Islands, southwestern Japan. It was collected from the second slope zone of the cave, 80-100 m from the entrance, no light, low salinity and with rocky substrate. This is the first record globally of a Pantopipetta species from a submarine cave and anchialine environment. Pantopipetta hosodai sp. nov. resembles Pantopipetta auxiliata, Pantopipetta lenis and Pantopipetta oculata in having auxiliary claws, but differs from them in having a palp with three short distal articles, lateral processes without dorsodistal tubercles, coxae 1 and 3 of legs 1-3 each with one long dorsal tubercle and one dorsodistal tubercle bearing a seta on each femur. Features of the palp appear to delineate two species groups in Pantopipetta, i.e. (1) those having four small distal articles, and a small, basal palp article between the lateral cephalon process and longest palp article (eight-articulate palp) and (2) those having three small distal articles, and lacking the small basal article (six-articulate palp), but further detail examination of the described species is needed. We discuss the diagnostic characters separating Pantopipetta and Austrodecus and the generic affiliation of Austrodecus aconae. Few pycnogonids from marine or anchialine caves have been identified to species, and it is generally unknown whether cave-dwelling pycnogonids tend to be troglobites.

アドバンス・ケア・プランニング(Advance Care Planning、以下 ACPとする) のプロセスの中で重要な位置を占める「ケア提供者―療養者間」のコミュニケーションとケアがいつどのようになされることが療養者の望む生き方の実現と結びつきやすいのか「独居高齢者―訪問看護師間」の援助の分析を通してACPのプロセスと具体的支援を考察した。経験年数3年以上の訪問看護師26名を対象に半構造化面接を行い、提供された36事例を分析した。ACPを促進する要因として【療養者から専門職として信頼される】【療養者の意向を明らかにする】【選択肢を提示する】【不安の原因を探り軽減するよう関わる】【迅速な支援と技術で意向を実現するタイミングを逃さない】の5 つの構成要素と各要素を達成するための具体的支援を抽出した。ACPの障壁となる要因として【信頼関係が築けない】【意向がわかりづらい】【医療者の判断と療養者の意向に相違がある】【不安が解消されない】【療養者の意識レベルがクリアでない】【療養者の価値観と在宅支援方法の対立がある】の6 つの構成要素を抽出した。「ACPを促進する要因」「ACPの障壁となる要因をとりのぞくために訪問看護師が考慮すべき事項」を援助に取り入れることは、在宅ケアにおけるACPの質を担保することにつながると示唆された。

日本においてアニメの歴史は長くそれに伴い様々な変化を経ている.例えば 1980 年代はセルアニメーションの作品が多かったが,現在ではコンピュータの発展に伴い,ほとんどがコンピュータアニメーションとなっている.製作方法の変化や技術の発展に伴い,アニメ作品の画風 (絵タッチ,背景,色合い等) も同様に変化していると考えられる.画風を変換する研究分野においては,芸術絵画や写真の画風を別の画風に変換する方法が提案されている.そこで,対象画像をアニメの静止画像とし,セルアニメーションが主流であった年代のアニメ画像を,現代のデジタル作画のアニメの画風に変換するタスクを考えた.本研究では,Image-to-image の手法の 1 つである CycleGAN をベースにアニメ画像の画風変換結果を報告する.

現代階層論は、ジャーナリスティックには活況を呈しているようにみえる。しかし同時に様々な困難な課題を抱えていることも指摘される。本稿ではこの現状をふまえて、あらためて1955年以来のSSM調査研究を中核とする階層研究史を見直した。その結果、1980年以降の約20年は、戦後〜高度成長期という前時代と比較すると、十分な説明がなされないままで残されていることを指摘できる。そうであるからこそ、この空白の20年を埋めるものとして、原純輔と盛山和夫は「寛かさの中の不平等」という現代階層論の大きな指針を示しているのである。だがこの論調もなお、「戦後」という|日来の時代認識からは相変わらず自由ではない。それゆえにまた、時系列比較研究に特有の先行研究との分析の重複、新しい時代の特性(=現代社会論)の軽視が繰り返されるおそれがある。同時に現在の微細な階層差(豊かさの中の不平等)は、社会意識局面などに対する階層要因の影響力の弱まりをけじめとしたいくつかの課題を、階層研究のフロンティアにいる次世代の研究者に突きつける。

This study conducted a three-wave panel survey concerning subjective rewards as a factor that inhibits caregiver turnover (T1 [N = 1,087]), T2 [N = 690], and T3 [N = 546]). A longitudinal logistic regression analysis was conducted using the Subjective Rewards Scale for Human Service Professionals (SRS-HS), which uses the five factors of financial, growth, social, interpersonal, and stability as independent variables and the presence or absence of job turnover in the subsequent year as the dependent variable. In addition, we conducted a cross-sectional analysis that categorized turnovers into workplace or occupational turnovers. The regression analysis revealed that turnover among caregivers was prevented by hygiene factors such as financial and stability rewards. Furthermore, stability, interpersonal, and growth rewards, which showed relatively high levels, indicate the positive aspects of caregiver work and should be actively publicized to increase human resources.

【目的】進行性疾患患者の呼吸困難に対する高流量鼻カニュラ酸素療法(HFNC)の有効性を検討する.【方法】MEDLINE, Cochrane Library, EMBASE, 医中誌Webを用いて文献検索を行った.適格基準は,呼吸困難に対するHFNCの効果を評価した無作為化比較試験であること,18歳以上の低酸素血症を伴う進行性疾患患者を対象としていること,対照群が通常の酸素療法もしくは非侵襲的陽圧換気であるもの,とした.集中治療室患者,人工呼吸器からの離脱後は除外とした.【結果】6件が採用された.短期介入を検討した2件で,HFNC有効1件,通常酸素有効1件であった.長期介入を検討した2件で,HFNC有効1件,有意差なし1件であった.運動負荷時の介入を検討した2件で,HFNC有効1件,有意差なし1件であった.【結論】低酸素血症を伴う進行性疾患患者の呼吸困難に対してHFNCは有効である可能性がある.

Cats are now the most common companion animal in Japan. Cats have had a close relationship with humans for a long time, and sometimes there is human intervention from the earliest stages of development. In other words, they are often raised by humans rather than by their biological mother. Cats raised by humans may perform the same behaviors in humans that they do in their mother cats. This paper outlines cat parenting by biological parents and its mother-infant communication and human-cat "mother-infant" communication, followed by a summary of maternal-like behaviors exhibited by cats toward humans. The process of parenting by cats and the developmental stages of their offspring are outlined, followed by an explanation of the recently revealed role of the father and communication between mother and offspring. Regarding cat parenting by humans, the importance of the socialization period will be discussed, followed by an explanation of various forms of "motherinfant" communication. Then, after summarizing the mother-like behavior of cats toward humans, I will discuss whether cats show tolerance toward human children based on preliminary studies and my own experience. Finally, I summarized the differences between conspecific and inter-species communication and discuss future prospects.

Our sensory functions decline with age. Older people have been reported to compensate for sensory deficits by using auxiliary equipment, medical treatments, and sensory mechanisms such as multimodal integrations. To the best of our knowledge, there has been no systematic surveys research for sensory problems of older people in daily life. Through an online survey, we investigated what kind of sensory problems exist and how these problems were coped with by older people (60─70 years old), with middle-aged people (40─50 years old) data. Frequency and text-mining analyses found that problems of hearing and body movements were reported more frequently for older people due to aging. Visual problems were reported by all age groups and were attributed to aging, but coped with by using auxiliary equipment and medical surgeries in older people. The 50’s age group reported visual problems most frequently. Our findings suggest that sensory problems subjectively felt in daily life are attributed to aging but are not necessarily remarkable in older people.
