音声言語と文字言語が本質的に異なる研究対象だと考える立場に立つと、20世紀の言語学は音声言語と文字言語のねじれた半面を重点的に研究してきたことになる。ねじれを是正するには、音声言語研究と文字研究を本格的に確立する必要があり、これこそが本学会が挑むべき課題のひとつだと筆者は考える。この考え方を踏まえ、本稿では実験文字学を構想し、研究の事例を紹介する。

Ten cases of aneurysmal bone custs were evaluated in regard to sex, age, site, symptoms, localisation, radiographic features, and histological appearance. We performed curettage and bone graft in 8 cases, curettage followed by hydroxyapatite packing in 1 case and wide resection followed by methacrylate packing in 1 case.Recurrences occurred in 4 cases, always within two years after surgery. Two cases were healed after their second operation. But recurrences were found several times in the other 2 cases. All cases were eventually cured and there was no evidence of malignant transformation.

In 1880s, most of the Japanese exports and imports had been handled by foreign trading companies with offices in Yokohama. The Yokohama Union Silk Depository Incident (Yokohama Rengo Kiito Niazukarijo Jiken) between Japanese and foreign silk merchants took place under such circumstances. This article aims at giving an outline of the affair, with special references to direct export movements (jika-yushutsu undo) by the Japanese merchants and the activities of the Japanese silk-trading companies. Established in 1879 by Kenso Hayami, Dohshin-kaisha was a typical Japanese direct export company which had branches both in New York and Lyon. Hayami, as an ex-government official in charge of industrial policy, promoted direct export movements and organized silk producers and local merchants to set up the company. The Meiji Government offered some financial assistance in such a way as giving the loan in the form of documentary bills (nigawase) to promote the expansion of the Japanese direct export. Such facilities induced silk producers and local merchants to subscribe to the company.As a result Japan's direct export of raw silk grew rapidly between 1881 and 1883. In 1882, the Japanese trading companies jointly accounted for 27.6% of the Japanese raw silk export in volume. But despite the fact that the total volume of the Japanese raw silk export expanded substatially, the share of direct exports did not increase satisfactorily in the latter part of 1880s. This was partly caused by the inability of the Japanese trading interests to cope with the fluctuating world markets and their lack of funds to give sufficient loans to producers. Furthermore, the government closed financial aids to the direct export companies in 1889. The Japanese silk producers and local merchants eventually gave up their direct export efforts. The Japanese merchants thus failed to rectify the trading inequality vis'-a-vis the foreign companies. In 1880s the Japanese direct export companies were hardly a worthy opponent for the foreign traders.

近年,患者の通院に対する負担軽減を目的に,先進技術やMaaSの考えを取り入れた医療MaaS等の新たな医療サービスとして,コネクティッド・メディスンの導入検討がなされている.さらに,昨今の新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響により診療形態の変革が予想される.本研究では,コネクティッド・メディスンに対する利用意向を医療サービスに関わる複数指標を用いた都市類型化や独自のアンケート調査から得た通院行動・意識,コロナ禍の影響の観点から考察した.結果として,コネクティッド・メディスンに対する利用意向については,医療サービスに基づく都市類型の違いより,通院行動・意識やコロナ禍の影響の方が顕著であることが示された.コネクティッド・メディスンの導入に際し,通院頻度や交通手段に基づく検討の重要性が示唆されたといえる.

放送番組はその時代で最新の媒体を使ってきており,テレビ番組のアーカイブも放送された媒体に合わせて保存されてきた。テレビにおけるアーカイブの歴史は短いが,番組媒体の種類はフイルムから磁気のビデオテープ,ディスク等,いろいろな媒体で保存されてきた。放送形態の変更があると,古い素材を新しい媒体へ変換しなければならず,この作業は繰り返されている。2000年からは徐々にデジタル化が進み,デジタルアーカイブの導入により,保存される番組もファイル化され,社内のLocal Area Network(LAN)を利用して保存された番組の検索,閲覧ができるようになった。

Given that group size is known to exert a negative “residual” effect in social dilemmas even when the incentive structure is held constant over different group sizes, it was hypothesized that when no personal contacts were permitted among participants in a one-shot dilemma situation, the residual effect of group size would be mediated either by expectations of other members' contributions or by efficacy of altruistic actions. The results of three experiments in which group size was varied from 2 to 501 (Experiment 1) or 3 to 36 (Experiments 2 and 3) indicate that: (1) the residual effect exists only among small groups; (2) the observed residual effect is mediated by expectations; and, (3) efficacy of altruistic actions does not mediate the observed residual effect.

本研究では鶏唐揚げの保存性を向上するために,種々の条件で保存した鶏唐揚げの衣の食感,肉のやわらかさ,ジューシーさ等を測定し,揚げたての品質を保つための保存条件の検討を行った.破断圧縮試験では25℃40%RH 条件が揚げたてに近い結果となった一方,高温度または高湿度条件では試料の脱液の進行に伴い硬化が認められた.40℃や40%RH 程度で保存することにより,他の条件に比べて鶏唐揚げは歩留まりよく,サクサクでジューシーな状態を保持可能であることが分かった.

Patients with shoulder joint dysfunction may perform compensatory motion using the glenohumeral joint,scapula, or trunk to accomplish the intended movement. It is necessary to consider which treatment strategyto pursue, improvement of normal movement or acquisition of compensatory function, depending on theintended goal. In this paper, compensatory movement caused by functional impairment of the glenohumeraljoint and scapula are used as examples. In addition, electromyographic data are presented and details of thekind of compensatory movement occurring are explained.

Control charts are widely applied to monitoring quality variation from stable status to instable status in many manufacturing lines. Large-scale integrated circuit(LSI) manufacturing requires to monitor thin film thicknesses, circuit pattern dimensions, particle count on a wafer and so on. This paper proposes a new monitoring method for particles on a wafer. If particles induce random location based on Poison distribution, the c-chart is applicable. However, actual particle generation is not dependent of Poison distribution and then the c-chart indicates many false alarms. The proposed method predicts particle-limited yield to apply the p-chart to monitoring particle data. The method uses data outputted by a particle inspection tool such as a particle location and a scattered light intensity with respect to each particle. Experiments show that the method reduces false alarms.

本研究は東日本大震災の被災地におけるディスコースを分析し,復興過程におけるアイデンティティの形成・変化がどのように相互扶助や協力関係を推進したか考察する.南三陸町をフィールドとして2013年から5年間の現地調査を実施し,被災地において喪失,感謝,利他的というディスコースが明確化された.これらディスコースの動態的連動がアイデンティティ・ ワークに関係し,その遂行性の視点から復興を推進するプロセスを考察する.

症例は在宅中心静脈栄養を行っているヒルシュスプルング病類縁疾患の1歳11か月の男児.中心静脈カテーテル関連血流感染症(catheter related blood stream infection: CRBSI)を繰り返しており,定期外来で予防的エタノールロック療法を行っていた.受診4日前の定期外来時に,中心静脈カテーテル接続部のぬぐい培養を提出した.受診前夜に高熱が出現し,翌朝当科外来を受診した.ぬぐい培養でKlebsiella spp.が検出されていたこと,家庭環境から入院が困難であったことからセフトリアキソンナトリウム水和物(CTRX)による外来抗菌薬静注療法(outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy: OPAT)を選択した.外来でCTRX 60 mg/kgの静注及び2時間のエタノールロックを施行し,10日間の治療で治癒し得た.児の全身状態が保たれ,使用する抗菌薬が決定している場合は,OPATはCRBSIの治療選択の一つとなる可能性が示唆された.
