Control systems such as factory production systems and mobility systems require countermeasures to prevent serious physical damage from cyber-attacks. Although there have been reported cases of attacks such as installation of unauthorized devices in internal networks and physical tampering with vehicle networks, sufficient countermeasures have not yet been taken in the control systems currently in operation. In this paper, we propose a method to detect network route tampering by adding calculation and communication functions for network tampering detection to devices and components that make up bus-type networks commonly used in field networks. The proposed method makes it possible to detect anomalies caused by network route tampering without changing the specifications of field devices and with minimal impact on communication performance on the field network.

The Great East Japan Earthquake and the Fukushima No.1 nuclear power plant accident revealed serious problems with Japanese information communication systems. From a rhetorical viewpoint, the Japanese language starts to explain a situation from the beginning and leaves the outcome until the end. In traditional Japanese culture, the world is thought to move with the collective flow of nature, and all things are constantly in the process of change. Thus, self-assertion is not encouraged in Japan. The Japanese language itself is imbued with “vagueness,” possessing a wealth of vocabulary and expressions but often not being conducive to sending out a clear message. Unfortunately, under emergency circumstances, such as experienced in March 2011, serious problems can occur. In this paper, we examine the language used by researchers in science and engineering, where clarity is essential. We prepared the Japanese-English Corpus of Presentations in Science and Engineering (JECPRESE) of transcriptions of presentations given in Japanese and English by researchers. Our comparative analyses revealed that the “vagueness” in Japanese results from missing subjects and a lack of sensitivity for paragraph structure (idea frameworks), verb tense and mood. In order to send out a clear message, more effort needs to be made to be aware of the audience’ s viewpoint. Only in this way can the Japanese learn to speak out without “vagueness” as the world accelerates towards internationalization with the ever increasing need to send out clear messages.

ニュートリノを放出しない二重ベータ崩壊が発見出来れば、ニュートリノの粒子-反粒子同一性(マヨラナ性)が判明し、物質優勢宇宙の謎に決着がつく。二重ベータ崩壊は、通常のベータ崩壊がエネルギー、スピンにより禁止・抑制されている特定の原子核でのみ観測可能である。核種による遷移確率(核行列要素)の理論的不定性もあるため、様々な原子核で実験することが必要となる。本研究では、既存の技術を応用して大型かつ高純度のCe:Gd3(Ga,Al)5O12(GAGG)結晶を開発し、それを用いてGd-160の二重ベータ崩壊探索の研究を高感度で行う。

岩手県遠野市では毎年クマ被害が発生し,被害地住民にとって深刻な問題となっている。被害地住民の被害に対する認識や農業経営形態などにより被害問題の形態が変わることから,被害問題は加害動物と共に被害地住民の認識・行動が形作っていると言える。そこで本論では被害地住民の側からクマ被害の実態把握を行うことを目的とし,AとB,2つの集落に対して聞き取り調査を行った。その結果,B集落で遠野市による電気牧柵の補助制度が導入されない理由として,成功例を身近に見ておらず失敗例が共通認識化されていることが考えられた。従って,今後の対策としては,電柵導入が効果的と思われるが導入されていない集落に対して,モデル事業を行うこが挙げられる。また人身事故が過去に生じたB集落では,クマに対する認識が強く否定的になり,クマを残す合意形成が難しくなっていることが明らかになった。このことから,クマを対象とした場合,一見「クマと共存している」と思われる集落も,一回の人身事故でクマ否定派に変化することが考えられ,人身事故対策が非常に重要であると言える。

研究代表者は糖尿病モデル動物の腸管に膜様条虫というにサナダ虫を寄生させると、感染後2週間程度で他に病的な症状を一切呈さないまま高血糖状態だけが正常化するという現象を見出した。その原因は「膜様条虫は腸管細胞のインクレチン分泌を誘導してインスリン分泌を亢進させ高血糖を正常化する」と考え、その機構を遺伝子改変マウスを用いて解明する。

In this study, for the evaluation of ultrafine bubbles (UFB) which is important in fine bubble research, a method to use hydroxyl (OH) radicals or luminescence phenomenon (sonoluminescence) generated by the collapse of UFB when applying ultrasonic wave to UFB as an indicator was verified. Electron spin resonance method and potassium iodide (KI) method were used for the evaluation of OH radicals, and photomultiplier tubes were used for the evaluation by sonoluminescence. OH radicals by the collapse of UFB were observed from the result of OH radical measurement by ESR. And, even in the KI method which is a simple OH radical evaluation, it was shown that the same evaluation can be made from the difference in absorbance when ozone is used for the inclusion gas. On the other hand, in the sonoluminescence measurement, it was confirmed that the luminescence intensity in water to which inorganic particles of the same amount as that of UFB was added was smaller than in the case of UFB water.

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is an autoimmune disease that inflames the intestinal tract and reduces patient quality of life. In recent years, prescriptions of biologics and Janus kinase inhibitors have made outpatient pharmacists indispensable to clinics and hospitals. Therefore, we retrospectively investigated the effectiveness of immunopharmacist outpatient services in treating IBD. The survey spanned between January 2019 and December 2020 and included patients who had visited an IBD-specialized outpatient clinic. The endpoints were the number of pharmaceutical and accepted interventions, improvement rates, and cost-effectiveness of the pharmacist outpatient services. The definition of pharmaceutical intervention involves the pharmacist outpatient clinic, which refers to the number of prescription proposals made to doctors, and the dispensing room, which refers to the number of inquiries made to doctors. The survey included 139 patients, and 579 assessments were performed in the pharmacist outpatient clinic. Out of 352 pharmaceutical interventions by the outpatient pharmacist group, 341 (96.9%) were accepted by physicians. Similarly, out of 74 pharmaceutical interventions by the dispensing group, 54 (73.0%) were accepted by physicians (p<0.0001). The overall improvement rate of pharmaceutical interventions was 93.5%. The immunopharmacist outpatient clinic was found to be cost-effective, with an estimated value of 44068000 yen. In IBD outpatient services, clinical pharmacists and physicians are integral members of the medical care team and have a positive impact on drug treatment outcomes.

The purpose of this narrative review was to clarify the current status and issues of scientific evidence for functionality in the Foods with Function Claims system based on previous research. From the introduction of the system in April 2015 to January 1, 2023, there were 6606 notifications, of which 6297 (95.3) were systematic reviews (SRs) and 309 (4.7%) were clinical trials (CTs). SRs were identified the following problems: i) inadequate description based on the first version of PRISMA checklist, and ii) very low levels of quality assessment in the first version of AMSTAR checklist and AMSTAR 2. CT was reported to have the following problems: i) inconsistencies between the protocol and the content in the paper (non-compliance), ii) high risk of bias, and iii) not described based on the CONSORT 2010 checklist. Since SRs and randomized controlled trials (RCTs) often have low-quality notifications, it is necessary to correctly communicate this information to consumers in order to make appropriate purchasing decisions.

摂食障害の患者について,入院管理のうえ,身体拘束を加えた場合についての裁判例を紹介する。この事案では,77日間にわたる身体拘束が加えられたが,東京地裁令和3年6月24日判決は,そのうち17日間の身体拘束を違法と解釈し,これに対し,東京高裁令和4年10月31日判決は,全期間を通じて,身体拘束は違法ではないと解釈している。いずれの判決も,医師の裁量を認めるものであるが,将来予測の難しさについて,どのように評価するかについての解釈が分かれたものである。この点については,東京高裁の解釈がより正しいものとして是認できる。本訴訟事例は,医師の裁量に基づく判断に対する裁判所の判断が正しくないと思われる場合には,控訴などの上訴を積極的に検討する必要があることを示す1例でもあるといえる。

ガルバニック対による腐食センサデータから精度良く腐食速度を算出するアルゴリズムを構築した.この特徴として,センサデータの解析に湿度記録を併用し,異常出力を自動抽出する.曝露試験場や送電鉄塔現場で観測されたデータから解析の定量性を評価すると,腐食速度が実測値と良く整合した.本解析の過程では日々の海塩付着量も算出される.そこで,観測データから台風,降雨および鋼管内環境と腐食の関連性を検討した.

サッカーは、制約が少なく複雑性が高いチームスポーツの一つであり、試合の成り行きを予測するのは非常に難しい。近年では、主に機械学習の手法を用いて、サッカーの試合においてどの選手がどこで何のアクションをしたかを示すイベントの系列の予測が試みられており、先行イベント系列を考慮したゴール期待値の計算や特定のアクションの有効性の評価への応用が見込まれている。一方で、次にどのようなイベントが発生するかは、単に先行するイベントの系列だけでなくどの選手がそのイベントを発生させるかに大きく依存すると考えられる。そこで、本研究では選手を分散表現すなわちベクトルで表現しニューラルイベント予測モデルの入力に加えることで、先行研究では考慮されていなかった選手の特性を考慮した予測を行うことを提案する。実験の結果、選手特性を考慮することでモデルの予測精度が向上することに加え、モデルを学習する過程で得られた「選手ベクトル」が選手のポジションに関する情報を含んでいることが示された。
