The purposes of this study were to develop the Stress Response Scale for Children(SRS-C) which measures slight stress responses of elementary school children in a daily school life setting, and to examine its reliability and validity. In study I, after selecting items which state stress responses in school, factor analysis of data by 2,160 children revealed that the SRS-C has four main factors; “physical states”, “depressive-anxlous feeling”, “irritated-angry feeling” and “helplessness”. As a result,the SRS-C including 20 items was developed. In study II, psychometric analyses showed that the SRS-C has enough high reliability by test-retest method and split half method, and from the viewpoint of internal consistency. Furthermore, SRS-C scores were compared among three groups; HS-group which showed high stress responses, LS-group which showed low stress responses, and MS-group which showed moderate stress responses. As results of ANOVAs, it was revealed that SRS-C scores of HS-group were higher than other groups. It was suggested that the SRS-C had high clinical validity, content validity, and construct validity. It was also suggested that the SRS-C had enough possibility to measure slight stress responses of elementary school children. Finally, the significance of measuring stress responses in psychological stress studies and possibilities of clinical application of the SRS-C were discussed.

2015年には団塊の世代がすべて65歳を超えて4人に1人が高齢者という, 文字通りの超高齢社会を迎えるわが国において, 加齢に伴う身体機能の低下のため, 栄養不足や誤嚥性肺炎などの原因となる嚥下機能低下による摂食障害は大きな問題として取り上げられることが推測される。そこで本研究は現在市販されている嚥下食品に対して, 「見た目」や「香り」などの主観的な要素と「飲み込みやすさ」などの客観的な要素を取り入れて評価を行うことで, より良い嚥下食の開発に役立てることを目的とした。被験者として健康成人16名(20.4±0.51才, 女性:名古屋女子大学家政学部食物栄養学科学生)を用いて, 嚥下食品(全176品目)に対して評価した。方法は, 被験者に「見た目」「味」「香り」「のど越し」「舌触り」に対してそれぞれの食品を食べた後, 10段階評価を行なわせた。結果, 冷たくてのど越しの良い「ゼリー類」に高い評価が下された。また「煮こごり」「カレー」「シチュー」など香辛料を用いたさまざまな食品が選ばれ, 香りや見た目に違和感のない食品に対する評価が高かった。今後, 作成される嚥下食において「香り」と「見た目」の一致は重要で, さらに「香辛料」を用いて食欲をそそる調理方法が必要である。また盛り付けに対する配慮が必要である。

Aim/background: Prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma with extrahepatic metastasis (IVb) was reported less than 6 months. Sorafenib (NEX) is an only established therapy for IVb. We evaluated the clinical factors of IVb treated with NEX for prolonging prognosis. Method/Patients: Clinical backgrounds of 23 IVb were investigated (Average age; 66.4 years old), retrospectively. Results: All were Child-Pugh A. In 8 cases, NEX was continued after progressive disease (PD). One year survival rate of them were 58% and average period of treating with NEX beyond PD was 327 days. There was a tendency that NEX was abandoned in IVb with portal vein tumor thrombosis (PVTT) at early timing. Conclusion: Continuing NEX after becoming beyond PD can be a therapeutic option to improve the prognosis in IVb without PVTT.

アトピー性皮膚炎の治療は, 薬剤による皮膚症状の治療, 悪化因子の検索とその除去, 保湿剤によるバリア機能の補完が基本となる. 悪化因子の一つである精神的ストレスは, かゆみを増加させ, 搔破に拍車をかける. 一方, 搔破がストレス対処行動になっていることもあり, 搔破行動が習慣化している場合, その離脱を図らないと本来の皮膚科治療の効果を十分発揮することができない. しかし難治化した患者の多くは, かゆみや搔破行動にとらわれており, やめようと意識するほどやめられないと訴える. そのような患者に「搔くな」と指導するより, 生き方や考え方の転換を目指し外来森田療法を行っている. 行動本位の生活を指導し, あるがままの生き方を体得させていく. 生き方の転換は, とらわれからの解放, ストレス状態の改善を促し, おのずと皮膚炎を軽快させることになる.

Programmable Controllers (PCs) are widely applied in the control of manufacturing systems. The purpose of this paper is to give some basic concepts for the verification methods of sequential control systems. Especially, we propose the modeling method of Ladder Diagram (LD) with the cyclic scan of PC by Petri Nets (PNs). First, some experiments are conducted to examine the relationship between the cyclic scan and the behavior of LD. Second, PNs are used for the qualitative modeling of the behavior of LD, based on IEC61131-3. In addition to LD Boolean logic expressions, we consider the PC operation, described by the cyclic scan, peripherals, memories, scanning ladder rungs. As a result, the difference between the LD description and the behavior, caused by the cyclic scan, can be represented by the proposed PNs. Moreover, the behavior of the PNs can be analyzed by the firing sequences, and then confirmed in good qualitative agreement with that of the experimental results.

構造物の維持管理にかかる費用は今後,大幅に増加する。多くの自治体や公団,鉄道事業者などは,限られた予算でどのように構造物を維持管理すべきか頭を痛めている。「アセットマネジメント」と呼ぶ手法などで構造物の長寿命化を図ったり,維持管理費用の平準化に取り組んだりする管理者も出始めた。そうした先進的な二つのケースを紹介しよう。
