目に見える動態的な出来事は、時として観察された出来事の背景に潜む潜在的な構造によって理解される場合がある。そのような潜在的な構造は、ダーク・イベントと呼ばれる目に見えない出来事で構成される。このようなダーク・イベントを可視化し解釈するために、人とデータとの双方向な解釈によりデータを金属のように焼きなまし、結晶化させる"Human-interactive annealing"という手法を開発した。この研究では、"Human-interactive annealing"の手法を用いて。特許技術のデータに潜む潜在的な技術構造から特許技術の新たなシナリオを抽出する事例を紹介する。Latent structure behind observation often plays an important role in the dynamics of visible events. Such latent structure is composed of invisible events named dark event. Human-interactive annealing is developed to visualize and understand dark events. This paper presents application of the human-interactive annealing for extracting new scenarios for patent technology from latent technology structure behind current patented technology.

Au-Sn solder has relatively high reliability because of the higher corrosion resistance and high temperature strength compared with Pb-Sn solder. It is, however, difficult to form Au-Sn alloy solder layer in the wet plating process on bonding surfaces. In this study, Au-Sn solder is provided as laminated Au-Sn-Au plating formed in a wet process on thin metal plates. Ni plating is formed prior to laminated Au-Sn-Au plating in order to improve wettability of the solder. Soldering process for thin metal plates without flux is investigated at the view point of soldering conditions and outgassing from the solder. Experimental result shows that Au plating contains larger amount of gas compared with Ni or Sn plating and the gas causes the solder layer to form voids. Forming many small holes around the specimen surface, amount of voids can be reduced. Peeling test shows that the peel strength of bonded specimen is influenced by the residual Ni thickness on the bonding interface rather than the bonding time or bonding pressure.

静岡県の沼津(高専)と石川県の津幡(石川高専)および獅子吼高原で観測した23例の雷鳴から次の観測結果を明らかにしている。(1)雷鳴の圧縮波形の特徴から雷鳴を3種類に分類できる。(2)複数の雷放電で生じたように繰り返して轟き継続時間が30秒以上の長い雷鳴が冬季雷で多く観測される。(3)雷鳴の平均卓越周波数は平均140Hzで、伝搬距離と共に低下する。(4)卓越周波数が低下するのは、伝搬中に音が重畳して形成された高い周波数成分は吸収減衰し、同相付近で重畳した振幅の大きな低い成分が残ることによる。

Objective: The revised Pharmaceutical Affairs Act that came into force in June 2009 prohibits the sale of nonprescription drugs via mail.  However, as a provisional measure, regular users and inhabitants of remote islands who do not have access to pharmacies or drug stores are allowed to purchase nonprescription drugs via mail until the end of May 2013.  This study involves a survey on the purchasing of nonprescription drugs by Internet-illiterate inhabitants of the remote Goto Islands, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan.Methods: Our process began with the distribution of questionnaires via mail to inhabitants of the remote Goto Islands, of whom 3,819 were randomly selected.  The responses were sent between January 22 and February 26, 2011.  We analyzed problems presented by 522 inhabitants who were Internet-illiterate.Results: The results revealed that 57.3% of the respondents living on large islands—with pharmacies, drug stores, and pharmacists— (e.g., Fukueshima) and 85.3% of respondents living on small islands scattered around large islands—with none of the abovementioned amenities— (e.g., Maeshima) were Internet-illiterate.  Additionally, a majority of the respondents (more than 80%) felt no need to purchase nonprescription drugs over the Internet.  However, considering that a handful of these inhabitants do, or will at some time need to purchase nonprescription drugs over the Internet, we strive to establish an optimal system for supplying medications to these Internet-illiterate inhabitants.Conclusion: Community pharmacists need to establish close relationships with the Internet illiterate (particularly those living on small islands) and promote the overall appropriate use of medicinal products.

Educational administration as a field of study in the U.S.A. was reorganized as an empirical social science by the so-called theory movement after World War II. Since then, many conceptual frameworks that this theory movement created provided scholars with theoretical and methodological base for studying educational administration. However, after 1975 circa, many kinds of critiques against the theory movement and its paradigm appeared and educational administration as a discipline is now in the period of academic restructuring. New trends are being formed. It should be said that the study of educational administration is now in the stage of a post-'theory movement'. New trends include newly developed frameworks, such as contingency theory, organized anarchy-garbage can model, institutional 'myth and symbol' approach and educational policy analysis. Qualitative and fieldwork methods are adopted by many researchers. There are seen new academic interests into, the consequences of educational administration on educational practice, value problems, and epistemological issues. In this paper, author tries to make sense of these intellectual trends in the theory and research on educational administration in the U.S.A. Especially, the focus is on their backgrounds and origins, that is, what has been promoted, and who initiated the restructuring of the field and how? As for their backgrounds, it was pointed out that critical consciousness and revisionist thinking were caused among scholars by their recognition of a theory-practice gap in the study of educational administration, which was promoted by challenging developments and turbulent environments surrounding public schools after 1970, such as increasing numbers of underachievers, school vandalism, increasing educational costs, taxpayers' revolt, call for equity school finance policy, public demand for access to school policy making, and demand for school accountability. And under the influence of new study in history of science and philosophy of science that criticized positivism, radical social sciences appeared which began to attack theory and research based on a positivistic concept of science. This trend led to severe critiques against, and critical reassessment of the theory movement paradigm that is basically founded on positivism. Who initiated the restructuring of the field? Was it the Canadian scholar T. Greenfield? Surely, we must not underestimate the importance of his challenge, but, it was self-critical reassessment of its paradigm by leaders of the theory movement themselves that played a leading role in the making of new trends. First of all, critical reassessment had begun before Greenfield's challenge to the theory movement paradigm, though it was sporadic. Secondly, at almost the same time, seminars were held, by scholars who led theory movement, that took a serious look into problems inherent in the theory movement paradigm.

近年科学技術の専門化が進み,また技術進歩の大規模化等に伴い,多くの研究分野において研究者が共同して研究を進める必要性が生じてきた.本研究は国内の論文データベースにおける共著関係パターンから協調フィルタリングを用いて大学内の研究者にとって効果的な共同研究者を推薦するシステムを提案する.本システムにより研究者は自分の研究分野における共著関係パターンと類似した組織内の共同研究者を知ることができる.

プロセス代数π-計算は,プロセス間の通信リンクの動的接続を表現できる形式モデルである.本論文では,π-計算の実装に必要となる通信リンクの実装方法について述べる.π-計算では,通信リンクを「名前制限」と呼ばれる概念で形式化する.一方,実装では通信リンクは「名前生成」で扱うのが容易である.両者の同等性の形式的な証明は与えられていない.また,π-計算に対してデータタイプを加えた体系では,両者の同等性に関する反例が存在する.本論文では,データタイプ部を加えたπ-計算を扱い,名前制限と名前生成の同等性を論じる.

スマートフォンなどに搭載されたセンサの観測値を収集・蓄積し,解析する研究がなされている.我々は,この一連の活動をいわゆるライフログになぞらえてライフログセンシングと呼んでいる.本論文は,蓄積されたその観測値を効率的に解析するためのフレームワークであるDwarfstarを提案する.我々は30か月間にわたってライフログを蓄積してきた経験から,(1)センサごとの観測周期の違いをアプリケーション側で吸収する手間と,(2)分散環境において時系列性を維持しつつ断続的に観測値の増分を処理することを課題とした.本論文では,それぞれの課題について(1)ウィンドウスキャンと呼ぶスキャン操作の拡張と,(2)分割インクリメンタル処理と呼ぶ処理モデルとその分散環境における処理系によって解決した.HBase上に実装したプロトタイプを用いた実験から,ウィンドウスキャンその他の拡張による性能低下が15%程度であり,分割インクリメンタル処理は単一ホストでのみ処理する手法に比べて平均4.1倍高速であることを確かめた.更に,サンプルアプリケーションを用いた開発実験では,開発工数を約三分の一に削減でき,Dwarfstarの有効性を確認した.

平成23年4月開催の日本医学会総会で展示を行う予定であったが、震災の影響で中止となった。しかし、平成23年6月~9月まで下記のサイトにてウェブ展示を行った。「わかろう医学つくろう!健康EXPO2011 ウェブ&体験 博覧会」公式サイトhttp://ex2011.net「わかる」の「8感染症」コーナーにて、感染マトリックスの成果の一つ(川口寧の成果)を紹介した。平成23年12月3日(土)には「感染症研究の未来」とのタイトルで感染マトリックスの成果全体を紹介し、また今後の感染症研究の方向を考えることを目的としたシンポジウムを東京大学鉄門記念講堂にて開催した。シンポジウムは2部から構成され、前半は「感染マトリックス成果報告」として、ウイルス、細菌、寄生虫の各分野から世界に発信された貴重な成果が紹介された。続いて第2部では「感染症の未来」と題して、今後の感染症研究に必要な概念と方向性について、「ワクチン、薬剤耐性、グローバルな視点からの感染症研究」の講演が行われた。参加者は100名を越え、特に感染マトリックス関係者以外の参加者が7割以上であったことは感染症研究に対する他領域の研究者や一般の関心の高さを表わしていると考えられる。アンケートからは「病原体に対する宿主の応答の多様性」、「宿主の防御反応からの病原体の回避機構」、「最先端の生命科学によるワクチンや薬剤開発の現状」に多くの興味が集まったことが判った。国際交流がますます緊密になり、しかもスピードアップする現在、インフルエンザなどをはじめとする「グローバル感染症」に関する研究の重要性に理解と興味を示す聴衆が多かった点は、科学技術立国をめざすわが国の感染症研究に対する期待を表わしているものと考えられる。
