本研究は、「帰還か移住か避難継続か」の選択を迫られる原発事故被災者が、今後数年間で安心して生活できる新たな居住環境をどのように構築していくのか、現状と問題点を明らかにし、「居住福祉」に資する心理社会的ケアの戦略を人間科学的学融合研究にて提言していくことにある。「居住は基本的人権である」と言われるように、被災者が安心・安全に生活できる基盤を構築するためには、内科学・心身医学・公衆衛生学・臨床心理学・発達行動学・社会学・社会福祉学・平和学・建築学・環境科学といった学融合的な調査研究が欠かせない。応募者らは2011年発災当時から被災者支援を目指した研究を継続させており、本課題にてさらに発展を目指す。

In recent years, the small island nick named as 'Gunkanjima' (formal name "Hashima") located in the southwest of the Nagasaki harbor attracted a lot of attention. Historically Gunkanjima, an island rich of coalmine supported modernization of Japan by supplying invaluable energy. However, abrupt shift in energy use during the 1970s forced the closure of the mines in this island on January 15, 1974. Eventually, since almost thirty years this island became an uninhabited island. But still there are many cultural heritages valuable from scientific standpoint left in the island, including the first Reinforced Concrete Apartment Building in Japan. In this paper, we have summarized the results of the interview with the former residents of this island and also the field survey in "Gunkanjima". This investigative study indicated that, the community structures followed by the residents of this island in those days, can be an ideal model to solve the present social problems arising in Japan. The results of the study also revealed the immense importance of Gunkanjima to be preserved as an industrial heritage, symbolizing the industrial growth of Japan. Hence got sufficient potential to be utilized as a scientific research center for the future generation and which in turn would promote revitalization of the surrounding areas.

5種類の味と香りの異なるチョコレートに対する主観的快適感と被験者の性別およびパーソナリティの関係を検討したところ, 以下の結果が得られた.<br>1) 女性群においては,<br>i) チョコレート全体に対する快適感が男性群よりも有意に高いこと, ならびに個別のチョコレートについては, 苦みを強くしたチョコレートにおいて快適感が男性群よりも有意に高く, オーク材抽出物を添加したチョコレートにおいても高い傾向にあることが認められた.<br>ii) 快適感に対する男性性ならびに女性性の有意な正の影響が認められた.<br>2) 男性群においては,<br>i) 快適感に対するタイプA型傾向の有意な正の影響が認められ, 特性不安の有意な負の影響が認められた.<br>3) チョコレート別の快適感とパーソナリティとの関係について,<br>i) 男性群においてはオーク材抽出物添加チョコレートの快適感と女性性との間に有意な正の相関が認められた.<br>ii) 女性群においてはオーク材抽出物添加チョコレートならびに甘みを強くしたチョコレートの快適感と男性性との間に有意な正の相関が認められた.<br>以上により, チョコレートの快適感に評価者個々人のパーソナリティが影響を与えていることが明らかとなった. 今後個人の価値観や好みを重視したチョコレートの創造を検討していく上で, 有用な示唆を与えるものと考えられる.

ウイルス性上気道炎症での鼻粘膜の役割を明らかにするためには, まず, ウイルス感染で起こる鼻粘膜上皮細胞の反応について理解する必要がある。ウイルスの種特異性と細胞指向性の理解と宿主免疫応答のうち, 自然免疫応答と抗ウイルス反応の鼻粘膜での特徴を理解することが重要である。われわれは正常なヒト鼻粘膜上皮細胞を用いたウイルス感染系を確立して, 鼻粘膜上皮に特徴的なウイルスへの免疫応答を模索した。また, 上皮細胞へのウイルスの侵入・複製・出芽のメカニズムを明らかにすることで感染様式が解明され, 抗ウイルス応答としてのインターフェロン産生の詳細について検討することで鼻粘膜上皮のウイルスに対する初期応答が解明できる。 本稿では, 気道粘膜でのウイルス感染の詳細を概説し, さらにわれわれの研究成果についても言及して, 鼻粘膜上皮の炎症の場としての特徴を利用した新しい治療戦略を模索したい。

粘膜防御機構は自然免疫の最前線であり,上皮細胞に加えて免疫系細胞などを含む複合的なシステムで構築されている。耳鼻咽喉科領域では扁桃・アデノイドに代表される粘膜関連リンパ装置は,その抗原捕捉機構を駆使して,免疫記憶の形成と特異的抗体産生機構に関与している。一方,上気道の最前線である鼻粘膜もまた抗原捕捉に伴う免疫反応を行っているとともに,ウイルス・細菌感染やアレルギー炎症の場としても重要である。われわれは,扁桃やアデノイド,そして鼻粘膜の上皮についての研究を行い,機械的バリアを含む自然免疫の新しい概念を提唱してきた。ここでは,われわれの研究より得られた知見をもとに,扁桃,鼻粘膜の基本的な免疫臓器としての機能解析と,それぞれの類似性・相違性,自然免疫・獲得免疫での位置づけについて言及する。

本研究は,教育用の3次元仮想空間オンラインチャットコミュニケーション・システムにアバターの表情機能を導入して,ユーザの会話に対する動機づけや相手の感情理解の精度に及ぼす効果とユーザビリティの評価に基づくシステムの改良を検討した.実験1では,15組の大学生ペアが,スマイリー入力表情システムと表情なしシステムの両方を用いて英語でチャットを行い,ユーザビリティを評価した.その結果,大学生のユーザビリティ評価においては,スマイリー入力表情システムの表情なしシステムに対する優位性を示すことはできなかった.そこでこのユーザビリティ評価に基づいて,スマイリー入力表情システムをアイコン入力表情システムに改良した.実験2では,16組の大学生ペアが,アイコン入力表情システムと表情なしシステムの両方を用いて日本語でチャットを行い,相手の感情を推測した.参加者の感情の推測はアイコン入力表情システムの方がより正確であった.最後にコミュニケーション・システムの改良に関する今後の課題を検討した.

This study examines the classification of the user type and behavior in a comedy theater. First surveys were carried out for the classification of the user type and the comparison. Second surveys were carried out for the evaluation of the ease of behavior and the degree of action implementation of the environment around a comedy theater. The results are as followings: 1) Comedy theater users were classified into four types and user behavior is different by user type. 2) The ease of behavior and the degree of action implementation are different by each theater.

栃木県に分布する中期更新世の湖成堆積物である塩原層群宮島層から産出した新種化石珪藻Stephanodiscus akutsui sp. nov.を記載した。本種は殻面が円形で同心円状に波打ち,殻套は薄い。殻縁部の束線は2~3列の胞紋からなる。殻面有基突起は0~2つで2または3個の付随孔を伴い,唇状突起は1つである。また,しばしば刺を用いて鎖状に連結していることで特徴づけられる。これらの形態学的特徴の組み合わせは他種と一致しない。よって,著者らは本種を新種として提案する。

The purpose of this research is to estimate quantitatively by using jump motion as a base material as the basic research about the effect the difference in the linguistics movement instructions on a performance. The effect of five instructions (“A: big jump.”, “B: jump after deeply bended knees.”, “C: highly jump.”, “D: maximum jump.”, “E: jump to touch the ceiling.”) on jump height was analyzed using KINECT. Result, the height of jump was E > D > C> B > A. In order to create high jump, it was found the instruction such as E, with the target point in the external of body was useful. In addition, as attention focused on the part instructed as the effect of the instruction focusing on the explicit of body part like B, it was suggested the attentiveness to other parts and the timing of the operation may be delayed. Instructions like D didn't lead to a high jump because the image of movement was ambiguous.

The research identified issues in communication in the customized house planning process: while professionals ensure that client’s needs are incorporated into the plan, customers felt that needs and tastes were not sufficiently reflected. Factors that affect customer’s general satisfaction are final building, entire process, the interaction with the sales representative, and how the building is placed, as well as the precision of the design drawings/plans. In addition to the tools to share images that reflect needs and taste, an involvement of an interior decorator is found to improve customer satisfaction and reduce the burden of professional in meeting client’s needs.

Implantable Collamer Lens(ICL)は後房型有水晶体眼内レンズで,球面矯正のみのものと乱視矯正可能なレンズの2種類が厚生労働省の認可を受けている。手術成績に関しては有効性,予測性,安全性に優れることが本邦および海外にて報告されている。手術にあたっては健常な眼に対する治療であるために,適応を十分考慮し術前の検査を入念に行って安全に施行することが必要である。適応を決める際にはとくに前房深度が十分に確保されていることに注意する必要がある。術前検査で最も注意する点は,正確な屈折を得ることとレンズサイズの決定である。手術においては,外傷性白内障,角膜内皮障害を起こさないように注意してレンズを挿入していく必要がある。手術方法そのものはシンプルであるが,内眼手術に熟練した術者が行うべき手術である。術後早期は瞳孔ブロックが起きていないか,レンズサイズが適切かを調べ,安定したら水晶体混濁の有無について長期の経過観察が必要である。

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a major infectious agent causing serious respiratory tract inflammation in infants. However, an effective anti-viral therapy for RSV infection has not yet been developed. RSV upregulates the platelet-activating factor (PAF) receptor, which is a receptor for S. pneumoniae. Clarithromycin (CAM) and Fosfomycin (FOM) significantly suppress RSV-induced adhesion of S. pneumoniae on airway epithelium. Thus, these antibiotics might prevent secondary bacterial infections during RSV infection. In addition, several food materials have potent pharmacological effects on anti-viral infections. Therefore, we investigated the effects of curcumin and humulone on the replication of RSV. We found that curcumin and humulone prevented the expression of RSV/G-protein and formation of virus filaments in RSV-infected nasal epithelial cells. These findings suggest that curcumin and humulone have protective effects against the replication of RSV and that they are useful biological products for the prevention of and therapy for RSV infection.
