当センターに通園する軽度~高度聴覚障害幼児の5歳児5例を対象とし,個別発達を配慮しながら集団話し合い場面で訂正方略の使用を促し,発話を観察分析して,①会話成立への影響,②言語聴覚士から他児への汎化,③訂正方略の推移など話し合い活動にもたらす影響について発達的に検討した.その結果,5歳代後期における会話では一方的な自発話が減少し,応答受信時の発話が増加し,併せて訂正方略使用率が増加した.また,訂正方略を用いた応答発話は,5歳代初期に言語聴覚士を対象とし後期には他児への使用に汎化した.さらに,5歳代初期~中期には,「全体型」から「確認型」の訂正方略に推移し,後期には,詳細な会話内容を問う「限定型」への移行を認めた.訂正方略技術を指標として話し合い活動の発達を促進・評価することの有効性が確認された.

和泉式部は千五百首余りの歌を詠んでいるが、まだ研究の対象となっていない歌も多く存在する。和泉式部の歌の本質を知るためにはこれらの歌についても解明する必要がある。本稿では和泉式部の「あやめ草」(菖蒲)を詠込んでいる歌を取り上げ、分析を試みた。そして五月五日の節供の「あやめ草」というありふれた歌材を用いても、和泉式部が独特の感性と言語感覚でその折をとらえ、心情を表現をしていることを明らかにする。

リン酸塩尿性間葉系腫瘍(phosphaturic mesenchymal tumor: PMT)は,線維芽細胞増殖因子23(fibroblast growth factor 23: FGF23)を分泌し,腫瘍性骨軟化症(tumor-induced osteomalacia: TIO)の原因となる稀な腫瘍である。FGF23は腎尿細管におけるリンの再吸収および腸管におけるリンの吸収を抑制する機能を有するため,過剰なFGF23は低リン血症を来し,骨軟化症を引き起こす。症例は73歳男性で,主訴は胸と足の痛みであった。高アルカリフォスファターゼ(ALP)血症,低リン血症が認められ,骨シンチグラフィーでは肋骨,胸腰椎,腸骨,足根骨に集積を認め,骨軟化症が疑われた。全身CTで左鼻腔に異常な腫瘤陰影を認められた。鼻外からの前頭洞開放を併用して内視鏡下に腫瘍を切除した。病理学的診断はphosphaturic mesenchymal tumor, mixed connective tissue variant(PMT-MCT)であった。手術後,血清リンおよび血清FGF23は速やかに正常化した。胸と足の痛みは手術の5ヶ月後に改善した。手術3年後,血清ALPは正常化し,腫瘍の再発は認めていない。

本研究は、地域組織や社会的企業による任意のものも含む構想・計画とその実現手段である規制・誘導・事業という地域の制度的環境が創発する小規模事業を通じて既成市街地の再生の実態把握を行うものである。名古屋市中区錦二丁目を舞台とする”長者町まちづくり”プロジェクトの事例分析を通して、不動産・公共空間の暫定活用、改修・転用といった小規模事業と市街地再開発事業という大規模な面的開発の連携した既成市街地再生の過程を明らかにするとともに、その過程で制度的環境を通じて地域の共通の方向性を有したままテーマの異なる様々な小規模事業が展開されるエリアブランディングの仕組みが構築されたことを示した。そして、小規模事業と行政計画・事業のどちらが先行するかによって、地域の制度的環境の果たす役割が異なるという示唆を得た。

Magnetoencephalography (MEG) measures weak magnetic fields generated by neuronal activities of the human brain during various information processing. It enables reseachers to estimate which part of the brain is active at which phase of information processing with high temporal and spatial resolutions without any bio-hazards. Neuromagnetic approaches to phonetics are providing new insights on neuronal mechanisms including bottom-up and top-down processes responsible for phonetic categorization and spoken language processing, based on which some of the controversial issues in conventional phonetics may be resolved in the future.

<p>症例は64歳男性,検診の上部消化管内視鏡検査で十二指腸下行脚に隆起性病変を指摘された.精査にて粘膜下に限局する10mm大の副乳頭部腫瘍を疑うもEUS下穿刺吸引細胞診で確定診断には至らなかったため,内視鏡的副乳頭部切除術による切除生検を行った.病理組織診にてInsulinoma-associated 1(INSM1)陽性,核分裂像0/10HPF,Ki-67<1%で副乳頭部神経内分泌腫瘍(NET)G1の診断,筋層への浸潤と腫瘍細胞の断端露出を認めたため,亜全胃温存膵頭十二指腸切除術を施行した.切除標本は断端陰性,No.6,14,17bリンパ節への転移を認めた.副乳頭部NETは腫瘍径が小さくてもリンパ節転移を高率に認めるため,腫瘍径にかかわらず膵頭十二指腸切除術と標準的リンパ節郭清を基本とした術式が妥当である.</p>

By reading in the original we mean a lesson that uses texts written in any of European languages, the most current being the English. An essential reason of this practice is naturally in the universal character of learning, but we wish to add one more. That is the isolative one of our mother tongue. The latter means a formidable barrier to communication and a handicap for our culture and learning. This is why a reading in the original becomes an indispensable course to our colleges. Here is an example of such a lesson. The author gives it to sophomores majoring education, using a text (Moore's Modern Education in America), once a week through the year. At the outset of the new year, he explains his plan as follows-we will read 4 pages in substantial at a time; all participants will quite at random be asked to read and interprete several lines one by one; each and all should prepare the lesson, otherwise he will be wise (?) not to attend; a report of summary is requested for all to hand in two days after the lesson; and so on. So the lesson goes on. Immediately before the summer vacation, just at tenth lesson, the author asks all to write freely how they think and feel about this lesson. Answers are naturally miscellaneous but he discovers that students are all honest and have will to study. They say, this is severe, painful, burdensom and is their first experience, etc., but at the same time, they have a good luck to reflect on themselves about insufficiency of basic knowledge and of skill of foreign languages. They say, all depends upon how they do their best for the lesson, We firmly believe that the central job of college education is to cultivate thinking ability of students. All lectures should do so, and reading in the original can never be exceptional. According to Dewey, thinking develops step by step: thrown into difficulties or perplexities; collecting data; making assumptions; testing them; and conclusion. This is of course a pragmatic explanation and very instructing. Can this rule be applied to our lesson? We tried and found it valid. Anyhow, in the case of reading in the original, students' preparation is the secret of success, and reporting summary after lesson will make it secure. Why such a truism? An old saying tells us: easy to speak, not easy to do. Concerning texts, classics or standard works should be selected. The educational value of classics is beyond doubt. Standard works are of authoritative content and good style, written by reliable authors. We think also that a desirable text should be one which teacher have read and have a passion to read it again with students. Some professors change texts year by year, but we doubt whether it be wise or not.

Associated with the 1914 great eruption at Sakurajima volcano, southwestern Japan, the maximum height of volcanic cloud is discussed based on collected documents, sketches and photographs in those days. A series of photographs up to around 10 : 40 on January 12 (in Japanese Standard Time) represents that the volcanic cloud height attained to 7,000 to 8,000 m above sea level. After then, it proved that several documents reported the height to be 9,500-15,000 m, or even more than 18,000 m a.s.l, although it is difficult to obtain reliable evidences. Considering these reports and other observations from a distance, the height of 15,000 m is tentatively proposed here as a possible maximum value. According to an empirical relation, an eruption rate of small pyroclastic materials is suggested as, roughly speaking, 5,000 tons per second or 20 millions of tons per hour, if the volcanic cloud was 15,000 m in height.

西尾市は抹茶の生産量が日本一であり,多くの加工食品に西尾抹茶が使われているが,残念ながらその事実はあまり知られていない.他方,宇治抹茶の評価は極めて高い.今回実施した調査では,西尾抹茶がこれに対抗する糸口を探るべく,宇治抹茶が加工食品の原材料として使われた際もその高いブランド力を維持するかをインターネット調査を通じて調べた.結果としては,宇治抹茶を使った製品は産地を特定しない抹茶を使用した製品に比べて高い評価を得ていた.ただし,宇治抹茶の評価は日常的な抹茶への接触経験の多寡と直接的に関係がないことも明らかになり,消費者の食品ブランドに対する態度の複雑さを浮き彫りにすることになった.

本論文では、日本の府省において導入が進められているEBPMの特徴を整理したうえで、障害者政策においてもEBPMを適用可能であるか否かを検討した。その結果、日本の府省におけるEBPMは統計データの整備に重点が置かれており、障害者政策の分野では雇用分野で統計データ整備が進められている点が明らかとなった。しかし、対象者の個別性の要素に配慮した多量の情報を集める必要があり、統計データの整備はいまだ不十分である点を示した。

We aimed to report a case of canine leishmaniasis with the only visible clinical sign being the presence of nodules in the lateral region of the tongue. The bitch was treated for a mandibular fracture, when multiple small nodules were observed on the tongue. We identify nodular glossitis with the presence of structures compatible with amastigote forms of Leishmania. The bitch was positive by ELISA, RIFI and PCR assays. Clinical re-evaluation after one year of treatment for leishmaniasis showed clinical improvement, but there was maintenance of antibody titers and infectivity. Lingual nodules as the only clinical sign of the disease is rare, especially in endemic areas, but should be included as differential diagnosis for leishmaniasis in the country.
