──中小企業の経営環境は依然厳しく、多くの経営者が業績浮上の糸口をつかめないでいます。稲盛 「経済環境が良くない」と思うことが、自分の会社を停滞させている元なんです。景気というのは良かったり悪かったりするのが普通であって、今が特別悪いわけではありません。 それに中小企業で言えば、いつどんなときも、決して良い環境というのはなかった。

This study evaluated the exercise profile (heart rate, cycling speed and pedal cadence) during 25-30 km cycling and fitness and health level for adults (11 males: 69.6 ± 4.7 yrs; 6 females: 66.3 ± 4.9 yrs) with a recreational cycling habit (27.6 ± 14.8 km/week). Exercise intensity at a constant speed on a flat road during male and female cycling was 71.2 ± 11.5 and 66.8 ± 11.4% heart rate reserved (HRR), respectively. Exercise intensity over 60% HRR occupied 72% of cycling time. Peak intensity during male and female cycling was 89.2 ± 8.9 and 93.1 ± 6.1% HRR, respectively. VO2max and CS (chair stand)-30 test for male and female were 40.3 ± 4.3 and 37.7 ± 2.4 ml/kg/min, and 30.8 ± 3.1 and 30.1 ± 3.2 times, respectively. The muscle cross-sectional area of thigh extensor and flexor measured by MRI were 55.4 ± 6.5 and 58.3 ± 13.3 cm2 for male, and 45.5 ± 6.4 and 50.2 ± 5.7 cm2 for female, respectively. Blood profile for HDL-C (cholesterol), LDL-C and HbA1c (JDS) for male and female were 65.9 ± 8.2 and 67.9 ± 10.6 mg/dl, 112.3 ± 32.0 and 130.6 ± 12.3 mg/dl, and 4.8 ± 0.4 and 4.7 ± 0.1%, respectively. Fitness level and blood profile results were superior to those of the same aged adults. We concluded that the exercise intensity of cycling by middle and older adults with a recreational cycling habit is high and their fitness and health level are higher than average adults.

The steel made from sponge iron and loop (Luppe) is generally thought superior to that from steel scraps, because of the former's virgin or fresh quality. However, even such steel wiht virginity, may loose the fresh quality when re-melted. Steel manufacturers are used to add some necessary alloying elements to the base iron, which has not contained any additional elements, in order to obtain the expected result, while they cannot refine such materials as steel scraps as they are which contain the ordinary steel components alone and consequently reveal no chemical reaction. It is suggested that the superiority of sponge iron is, in reality, due to the absence of any other steel mixtures, and not due to the virginity. It is necessary to follow a "dynamic" method in refining the sponge iron with a considerable amount of carbon. The good result would not be obtained by following the ordinary method of refining, even in case where only a little quantity of carbon is present. When steel scraps are used as the original material, the existing components other than iron should be removed first by means of oreing and then necessary elements may be added.

一般に高齢者にとって, 早口で話された音声が聞き取りにくいと感じられる場合がある.これを補償するため, 発声者の声の特徴を残したまま「ゆっくり」した音声に変換する話速変換技術の開発が進められている.一方, ビデオの早見や音声内容の検索を目的に早口に変換する試みもあり, それらの話速変換技術の一部は既に実用に供されている.また, マルチメディアの発展により, ハードディスク上に記録された映像・音声を可変速で再生する環境も整いつつある.同時にテキスト音声合成の高品質化に伴い, 音声波形の継続時間長を直接制御する技術としても, 高品質な話速変換技術が不可欠である.本論文では, 話速変換技術の広範な応用とその品質の自然性向上を目的として, 無声区間も含めた伸縮による話速変換方式を提案するとともに, 高齢者に対する音声放送サービス向上を目指した小型の話速変換器の開発について報告する.

筆者は過去に大きな探索木に対する計数問題を推定するため,乱数による選択と深さ優先探索を組み合わせた手法「複合モンテカルロ法」を考案し,箱詰パズルhexominoの解総数を推定した.今回,その手法に基づき長時間の計算を行った結果,推定値の収束が安定しないという問題点が明らかになった.分析の結果,その原因は推定に用いる分岐数の積のばらつきにあることが分かった.それを軽減するために,分岐数の積に閾値を設けて全探索に入るという手法を新たに考案して計算を行ったところ,従来よりも安定した推定を行うことが可能になった.またこの手法をN-Queens問題についても適用したところ,一定の成果が得られた.

計算科学アプリケーションには,そのワークフローを MapReduce モデルで容易に記述できるものも多く,MapReduce を採用することにより,実装の容易化,並列実行の自動化等の恩恵を受けられる.一方,計算科学アプリケーションは大規模並列システムで実行されるため,そのワークフローを実行する MapReduce 処理系にも高いスケーラビリティや,並列ファイルシステムに対応した高速 IO の実現が求められる.本研究では MapReduce 実行中の並列ファイルシステムへのアクセスの局所性を高めつつ,スケーラブルに動的負荷分散を行う処理系の実現を目指す.本稿では,並列ファイルシステム上のファイルの位置に基づく,該当ファイルを入力とするタスクを静的に割り振る手法を提案し,大規模並列システム向け MapReduce 処理系 K MapReduce に,京コンピュータを対象システムとして実装した.ファイル読み込み性能の評価を行った結果,N ファイルを N ノードが読み込む評価において,ランダムにファイルをノードに対応させた場合に対して,本提案は平均して 9 %の性能向上を達成した.また,1 ファイルを N ノードが読み込む評価においては,本提案は平均して 4.5 倍の性能向上となった.

In order to investigate the mandibular movements and function after sagittal split ramus osteotomy for prognathism, occlusal contact area and points, distance of mandibular border movements, myographic activity of masseter and temporalis, biting force and masticatory efficiency were measured before and 3, 6, 12 months after surgery. Postoperative evaluation under the consideration of fixation method of bone segments and with or without orthodontic therapy was carried out. The results were as follows : 1. Occlusal contact area and points tended to increase from 3 months after surgery compared with preoperative level and they indicated a significant increase 12 months after surgery. 2. Maximal distance of opening mouth indicated a significant decrease 3 and 6 months after surgery compared with preoperative level. Significant difference however was not recognized 12 months after surgery. Distance of anterior and lateral border movements showed an increasing trend from 6 months after surgery and the distance of left border movements indicated a significant increase 12 months after surgery. 3. Myographic activity of bilateral masseter decreased 3 months after surgery compared with preoperative level. A significant increase was recognized 12 months after surgery. Myographic activity of bilateral temporalis showed an increasing trend from 3 months after surgery compared with preoperative level. Twelve months after surgery a significant increase was recognized. 4. Biting force on both sides decreased 3 months after surgery compared with preoperative level, but 12 months after surgery it indicated a significant increase. 5. Masticatory efficiency tended to increase from 3 months after surgery compared with preoperative level. Six months after surgery significant increase was recognized. 6. Significant correlation of masticatory efficiency was recognized with occlusal contact area, points and myographic activity of temporalis preoperatively and with all examined items except distance of anterior and lateral border movements postoperatively. Correlations between left and right in myographic activity and biting force, as well as between masseter and temporalis in myographic activity strengthened with the passage of time after surgery. 7. Screw fixation was superior to wire fixation in occlusal contact area, distance of anterior border movements, and myographic activity of masseter. On the contrary wire fixation was superior to screw fixation in myographic activity of temporalis and left biting force. Occlusal contact points and masticatory efficiency showed equal improvement of function. 8. The group combined with the orthodontic therapy was superior to the group without it in occlusal contact area and points, myographic activity of right masseter and temporalis, right biting force and masticatory efficiency. On the contrary in the group without the orthodontic therapy, nothing was superior to group with it. From the above results, it was suggested that application of sagittal split ramus osteotomy for prognathism is very meaningful for not only esthetic and morphological improvements but also improvement of mandibular movements and function.

Populus albaの茎切片にバイナリーベクターpSMAB704を保持するAgrobacterium tumefaciens、GV3101(pMP90)を感染させ形質転換体を得た。pSMAB704はT領域にビアラホス耐性遺伝子(bar)とβ-グルクロニダーゼ遺伝子(GUS)を保持しているバイナリーベクターで、bar遺伝子の発現はノパリン合成酵素遺伝子のプロモーターで制御されている。また、ポリA付加シグナル領域(ターミネーター)配列としてアラビドプシスのリブロース-1、5-二リン酸カルボキシラーゼ/オキシゲナーゼのスモールサブユニットRbcS-2B遺伝子由来のものを用いている。ビアラホス存在下で形質転換処理した組織片よりカルスが生成・増殖し、植物体が再生・成長すること、植物組織のGUS染色およびゲノミックPCR解析により形質転換の成功を確認した。この形質転換法では、形質転換細胞を厳密に選抜することができるので、エスケープ(非形質転換体)やキメラ個体は出現しなかった。また、形質転換体の外観は、元の個体と同様で形態異常は見られなかった。

近年,動画共有サイトが飛躍的にそのシェアを伸ばしている.ユーザは,キーワードやタグなどを利用することで動画を絞り込み,人気度や新しさに基づくランキングを活用することで対象とする動画を探す.しかし,こうした動画検索は十分なものではなく,ユーザは自身の探そうとする動画にたどり着けないことが多い.例えば,笑える動画や,泣ける動画などをその度合いに応じて探すことは困難である.本稿では,ソーシャルアノテーションを時間軸に基づき印象分析し,インデックスを生成することで,印象に基づく動画検索およびランキングを可能とする.Recently, video sharing Web sites have been becoming popular. User can search video clips by inputting keyword or browsing tags and rank them based on popularity or freshness. However, these methods are not enough to search target video clips. For example, it is not easy for users to find much more laughing or tear-jerker video clips. In this paper, firstly, we analyze social annotation to video clips. Then, we generate index based on each impression and realize the prototype system. Finally, we discuss the usefulness of our system.

本報告では、全球数値予報モデルの24時間予想値を使用して1991年アジア夏季モンスーンにおける降水と水蒸気収支の特徴を調べる。第I部では、アジア夏季モンスーン域の主要の循環系を定義し、その変動との関連において降水分布の時間的変化を調べた。第II部では、それらの循環系の変化に注目して水蒸気輸送と水蒸気収支の特徴を調べる。春季からモンスーン期への主要な変化は、水蒸気シンクを伴う降雨域のインド洋・西太平洋赤道域からアジア大陸亜熱帯域への移動、及び、熱帯・亜熱帯海洋域におけるに水蒸気ソース域の形成によって特徴づけられる。南半球及び低緯度帯からこのモンスーン雨域への大きな水蒸気輸送は主として東西に並んだ三つの時計回りの循環系(CS-3, インド洋 ; CS-4, インドネシア域 ; CS-5, 太平洋亜熱帝域)による。モンスーン雨域を含む大領域(10°S-40°N, 35-140°E)に出入りする水蒸気流束の春季からモンスーン期への変化は、その内部における水蒸気流束・降水量の変化に比して、はるかに小さい。この事実は、領域内変動の重要性を示している。この大領域を細分した各小領域についての水蒸気収支解析の結果も、相隣る水蒸気ソース域とシンク域の形成がモンスーン降雨に重要である事を示した。更に、10×10^6km^2程度の領域の水蒸気収支状態を示すパラメーターとして「流入水蒸気流束比」、「流出水蒸気流束比」、「降水生成比」、などを定義し、各領域の特徴を対比した。西部インド洋・アラビア海に代表される水蒸気ソース域では強い下降流と安定成層が降水による水蒸気消費を抑制し、その結果として域外への大きな水蒸気流束を生じる。その風下に位置する水蒸気シンク域は上昇流と不安定成層が見られ、ソース域から流入する水蒸気の多くが降水として消費され、従って、シンク域からの流出水蒸気流束は相対的に小さい。

柔道は、技固有の微妙な運動感覚があるため柔道経験のない教員にとっては指導することが難しい。特に技の指導においては、微妙な運動をコトバにして情報伝達することが困難であることから、それらに対する何らかの支援が求められる。そこで本研究では、音のリズムで微妙な運動を直感的・感覚的に情報伝達することができる柔道のスポーツオノマトペ(グッ、スッ等)を柔道指導者から収集し、その中から厳選したスポーツオノマトペを用いて指導のビデオ映像を収録・分析することを目的とした。その結果、(1)基本動作と技の指導で表現されるスポーツオノマトペは清音・濁音・半濁音に促音(サッ、スッ)、撥音(ドン、バン)、長音(トーン、ギュー)など様々な音韻特徴をもった語が収集された、(2)ビデオは、柔道指導及び学習効果の観点から「柔道学習の動機付けに役立つビデオ6本」、「基本動作と技の全流れを撮影したビデオ31本」、「ポイントとなる部分を撮影したビデオ61本」計98本を収録した。(3)収録されたビデオ映像の分析では力を入れるタイミングのヒントが少ないことが明らかにされ、ポイントとなる個所にスポーツオノマトペの表示と力を入れる方向の矢印を付与する必要性が示唆された。

IPマルチキャスト技術を用いた映像配信サービスは、今後の高速インターネットアクセスにおける重要なサービスであると考えられる。本検討では実サービス提供時に必要不可欠な認証・課金機能を具備する管理システム構成法について提案する。また多種多様なサービスレベルを提供するために新たに7つの課金レベルを設定し、配信映像のチャンネルおよび番組毎に料金設定が可能な電子番組表の構築手法について述べる。また検証用IPマルチキャスト映像配信ネットワークを構築し、ユーザ端末(STB:Set Top Box)からの映像視聴開始・終了操作によるIPマルチキャスト映像配信ならびに配信番組に応じた課金処理に関する検証実験を行い、本検討のIPマルチキャスト映像配信サービス管理システム構成法の有効性を確認した。
