Nanocrystalline (n) Au specimens with a density of 19.4±0.2 g/cm3 and a mean grain size of about 20 nm were prepared below 300 K by the gas deposition method, where two types of n-Au specimens were obtained as a function of a deposition rate, the type-H specimens above 800 nm/s and the type-L specimens below 800 nm/s. The anelastic and the plastic creep responses are similar qualitatively but different quantitatively between the type-H and type-L specimens. The anelastic strain ɛan,GB, associated with the grain boundary (GB) regions, increases linearly with (T-Tan1)(σap-σan1), when the temperature T is higher than a threshold temperature Tan1 of 200 K and the applied stress σap is higher than a threshold stress, σan1, of a few MPa. The ratio of ɛan,GB to the elastic strain is as large as 1.1 for the type-H specimens and 0.2 for the type-L specimens at 320 K for σap≫σan1. The activation energy for the GB anelastic process is 0.2 eV. We surmise that cooperative motions of many atoms in the GB regions are responsible for ɛan,GB, and both Tan1 and σan1 show a distribution depending on the number of atoms associated. The plastic creep rate ɛ′ vs σap data show a letter S-like curve. We classified the creep response into three categories, region I for the linear creep rate region for σap between σpc 1 and σpc2, region II for the transient creep rate region for σap between σpc2 and σpc3, and region III for the saturation creep rate region for σap between σpc3 and σy. The threshold stresses σpc1 and σpc2 and the yield stress σy are about 30, 150, and 360 MPa for the type-H specimens, and about 60, 300, and 500 MPa for the type-L specimens, respectively. σpc3 is slightly lower than σy. From scanning tunneling microscopy images, we surmise that the localized GB slip takes place in region I, and the mean separation between the localized GB slips decreases with increasing σap in region II and becomes comparable with the mean grain size in region III. The plastic creep in region III may be explained by the Ashby creep. The present view for the creep behavior explains the low-temperature creep behavior of fcc n metals.

The paper reports on quantum beats observed in the photoluminescence kinetics of a single layer of the InPself-assembled quantum dots in a magnetic field. It is found that the beats arise only after removal of excesscharges from the quantum dots by an external electrical bias. The quantum beats are shown to be related to theinterference of the excitonic fine-structure states split by the magnetic-field. The dependences of the beatcharacteristics on the magnetic-field strength and orientation are studied. Theoretical analysis based on a modelspin Hamiltonian has allowed us to describe adequately the shape of the oscillating component of the signal.We have determined the values of the electron g-factor components and estimated the spread and the meanvalue of the hole g factor, as well as of the electron-hole exchange splitting parameters.

カバー付き食道ステントを用いて保存的に治癒しえた特発性食道破裂の1例を経験したので報告する.症例は45歳の男性.平成12年2月6日夜, 飲酒後に嘔吐・吐血.その直後より左胸背部痛が出現したため救急当番病院受診.バイタルサインは落ち着いていたため入院し経過をみられた.翌日呼吸苦出現, 精査の結果, 特発性食道破裂と診断され当院転院.経皮的なドレナージが有効と予想されたため保存的に経過をみることとした.全身状態が軽快するのを待ち2月9日カバー付き食道ステントを挿入した.その後, 全身状態は劇的に改善しステント挿入後14日目に食事開始となり, 入院76日で退院となった.カバー付き食道ステントは, 本来消化器系の悪性腫瘍による狭窄の改善等に用いられる器具であるが, 本症例ではこれを用い全身状態の劇的な改善と絶食期間の大幅な短縮に成功した.

転移性肝腫瘍ではまれな門脈内腫瘍塞栓の2例を経験し,これに対し肝切除術を行ったので報告する.症例1は28歳の女性で卵巣のembryonal carcinomaの肝転移であった.肝右葉に巨大な多発肝転移があり,右門脈起始部より1次分枝に及ぶ腫瘍塞栓を認めた.拡大肝右葉切除術を行ったが術後2か月で残肝再発を来し死亡した.症例2は61歳の男性でS状結腸癌の肝転移であった.肝左葉に孤立性肝転移があり,左門脈起始部より1次分枝に及ぶ腫瘍塞栓を認めた.肝左葉切除術を行ったが術後11か月で残肝再発を来し死亡した.門脈内腫瘍塞栓を伴った転移性肝腫瘍は,腫瘍塞栓を含めた肝切除術にもかかわらず予後不良で,肝切除に加え残肝再発に備えた術前,術後の積極的な集学的治療が必要と考えられた.

本研究の目的は, 患者所持型情報共有ツール『わたしのカルテ』の利用状況を明らかにすることである. 配布数, 医師706名・看護師2,236名の質問紙調査, 医療福祉従事者40名に対するインタビュー調査, 事例を分析した. 年間平均1,131冊が配布され, 15%の医師, 16%の看護師が使用した. 医療者の体験としては, 現状として【一部では使われているが全体には広がらない】, 効果として【患者の自己コントロール感が上がる】【医療福祉従事者間の情報共有になる】, 普及しない理由として【患者にとって利益がない・負担が大きい】【関係する地域の職種すべてが使用する必要がある】ことが挙げられた. 11病院で運用が試みられたが, 3年間継続した運用ができたのは2病院のみであった. わが国の多くの地域において, 患者所持型情報共有ツールを短期間に地域全体に普及させることの実施可能性は低いことが示唆された.

In this paper, the hisory of fuzzy logic is overviewed. Fuzzy logic has four origins: 1) the logic of vagueness, 2) the logic of logical circuit, 3) the fuzzy algorithm, which is called fuzzy reasoning, and 4) Zadeh's fuzzy logic. At present, the fuzzy logic is regarded as the logic of fuzzy reasoning.

本研究の目的は、インタープロフェッショナルワークとして有効的な援助活動であり、在宅要介護高齢者の自己決定促進による生活の維持向上につながった事例について、ケアマネジャー、訪問看護師、ヘルパー、医師のやり取りを分析し、多職種の役割とその特徴について検討することである。ケアマネジャーは他機関との調整と関連情報の共有、家族支援、ケアプランの遂行、相互支援の強化を担っていた。訪問看護師はチームの対象理解の深化、ヘルパーは日常の身近な援助者としての情報提供、医師は治療的な情報提供を担っていた。

仮想空間を用いることで,大規模空間の表現における従来の映像メディアの問題点を改善することが可能となってきた.本研究で使用した仮想空間は,パノラマ画像を円筒形状に表示する手法であり,実写画像を素材に使用できることや制作が容易なこと等から教育応用においてもその実用性と効果が期待できる.本研究の目的は,この仮想空間を効果的に教育へ応用するために,1)利用者の空間定位から学習環境としての適切性を検討する,2)そのナビゲーション過程を分析することで利用者の特徴や問題点を抽出する,3)迷子の発生しやすい空間構造を分析する,ことであった.本研究では,ある公園の仮想空間を作成し,小学生を被験者として,指定されたルートをたどる移動課題と,公園内のベンチを探す探索課題の実験を行った.実験結果からは,抽出した問題点の改善方法を提案した.

A method for the simultaneous analysis of eight kinds of preservatives and sodium saccharin (SacNa) in food products using ion-pair high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was developed. The preservatives of interest were dehydroacetic acid (DHA), sorbic acid (SoA), benzoic acid (BA), ethyl p-hydroxybenzoate (Et-PHBA), propyl p-hydroxybenzoate (n-Pro-PHBA), isopropyl p-hydroxybenzoate (iso-Pr-PHBA), butyl p-hydroxybenzoate (n-Bu-PHBA) and isobutyl p-hydroxybenzoate (iso-Bu-PHBA). These food additives were separated on an inertsil ODS-2 column (150 x 4.6 mm I.D.) using 50 mM monosodium dihydrogenphosphate-acetonitrile solution (66:34) containing 2 mM cetyltrimethylammonium bromide as the mobile phase and detected with a photodiode array detector at 305 nm for DHA, 254 nm for SoA, Et-PHBA, n-Pr PHBA, iso-Pr-PHBA, n-Bu-PHBA and iso-Bu-PHBA, and 230 nm for BA and SacNa. Comparison of the measured spectra with reference spectra allowed qualitative analysis (Fig. 1 and 2). The combination of dialysis extraction and liquid extraction with organic solvent is often used for pretreatment. However, purification with large amounts of organic solvents after dialysis extraction is a serious concern in terms of inductrial hygiene. In addition, the use of many types of analytical instruments causes operational complexity. For these reasons, a new method for concentrating and purifying dialysis extracts was developed. A comparison of four types of mini-columns revealed the Sep-Pak PS-2 column to have the best retainability (Fig. 3). Ten ml of methanol was used as the eluent from this column (Fig. 4). When 3, 0.5 and 0.01 g/kg of standard substances were added to the samples, excellent average recoveries of 99.1% were achieved (Table 1). The results obtained from 21 samples, preservatives or SacNa being detected were in excellent agreement with the values of dialysis-gas chromatography (Table 2 and Fig. 5). Thus, combination of dialysis extraction and solid phase extraction facilitates handling of many samples of various types, reducing the work load and the amounts of organic solvents required.

6ヶ月間に渡り胴背部における落屑とび慢性紅斑を特徴とする皮膚病を示した3歳の雌スピッツに治療を施したが,なんら改善がみられないことを理由に当症例が提出された.臨床検査においては,犬は活発で健康であった.皮膚培養では,真菌を確認できなかった.皮膚生検による組織学的検査では,基底層の水腫性変性を伴う界面皮膚炎,真皮における顕著な形質細胞の血管周囲集族と多量の形質細胞集族を伴う界面壁性毛包炎を示した.中程度のCD3陽性リンパ球が真皮表層に浸潤していた.この報告は,異型皮膚病変を伴うまれな犬種に見られた円板状紅斑性狼瘡の稀有な情報を提供するものである.
