本研究では「楽譜」が単なる情報記録にとどまらない作用を演奏者に及ぼすものであると考え、その効果を高めるひとつの拡張例として「動的な楽譜」を製作し、実際に解釈し演奏してもらうことを試みた。その結果、フレーズの創造という領域まで踏み込み、解釈幅の自由度は増えているものの、分析や解釈の議論においては五線譜とほぼ同様なプロセスがとられた。また実際の演奏からは、静的な楽譜と比較してより強く時間的な制約をかけるメディアであることが観察された。 : In this paper, we developed a moving graphic score as non-static musical score, and verified them practically on stage. As a result of analyzing the process of planning for playing it by performers, we found that they passed almost the same process as staff notation, though the interpretation was more flexible. From that point, we concluded the effectiveness and possibilities for developing such expanded scores to lead musical performers to new musical expressions.

本研究の目的は、広島とパール・ハーバーにおいて戦争被害を受けた日米51名の高齢者へのインタビューデータ分析を通じて、彼らの人生における健康の転換点を見出すことである。広島被爆者からは「被爆者になること」というテーマが、パール・ハーバー生存者からは「時に現れる誇りに思う記憶」というテーマが浮かび上がった。広島被爆者においては生涯持続し更新される健康体験の核を形成し、パール・ハーバー生存者においては折に触れて現れる体験であった。体験や国を超えて、他者とのつながり、平和の希求が一貫して表出された。

昨年度までの成果を引き継ぐ形で、文献研究および現地調査を推進した。まず文献研究としては、18世紀から20世紀前半までのチベット語文献に見られる政治体制や社会制度にかんする語彙および事例を収集し、もって昨年度までの調査によって蓄積した20世紀前半のチベット旧社会の社会制度と比較する作業を行った。とりわけ『ドリン・パンディタ伝』に出現するチベットの土地制度に関する情報を体系的に収集して整理することができ、これは今後の研究にとって重要な基礎データとなるだろう。また現地調査については夏季に中国四川省カンゼ・チベット族自治州および中国チベット自治区ラサにおいてフィールドワークを行った。中国からの投資がもたらした村落レベルにおける影響や、おラル・ヒストリーの採録をおこない、また現地研究者との研究交流を行った。さらに冬季には台湾に赴いて、民国期のチベット政策や漢人・チベット人関係についての文献収集を行うとともに、台湾漢人たちのチベット仏教信仰についての基礎データを収集した。こうした成果はこれまで対立と抗争という枠組みによって語られてきたチベット・中国関係における共生と交流の側面に光を与えるものであるといえる。以上のような調査に加えて、編著の刊行、単行本論文集への寄稿、英文学術誌への書評寄稿、チベット語文学の邦訳、国際会議の査読、法務省からのヒアリングへの協力などを行った。

Cyclization of the synthesized epoxide precursors of indole mono-, sesqui- and diterpene alkaloids was performed to elucidate the mechanism for biomimetic cationic cyclization to polycyclic structures. 3-(6,7-Epoxygeranyl)indole (11), 3-(10,11-epoxyfarnesyl)indole (2) and 3-(14,15-epoxygeranylgeranyl)indole (3) were respectively synthesized from geraniol, farnesol and geranylgeraniol in 6 or 7 steps. Four Lewis acids (MeAlCl2, BF3·OEt2, TiCl4 and SnCl4) were applied for biomimetic cyclization of the synthesized epoxide precursors. The cyclization products (one product from 11, four products from 2, and three products from 3) were isolated after separation by chromatography. Their structures were determined by using NMR (COSY, HSQC, HMBC, NOESY, etc.) and HRMS analyses. The results show that biomimetic cyclization gave new polycyclic compounds similar to natural indole terpene alkaloids. We conclude that the stability of cation intermediates should determine the preference for product formation by biomimetic cyclization when using a Lewis acid.

A monopulse angle measurement method is often utilized to measure a target angle. However, this method cannot measure correct angles for multiple targets which cannot be distinguished by range, Doppler frequency and beamwidth. When the number of targets which cannot be distinguished by these parameters is restricted to two, a method which can measure two targets angles has been proposed. However, an approximation is utilized with this method, so that measured angles have errors even though the signal-to-noise ratio is infinite. Another method which can simultaneously measure azimuths and elevations for only two targets has also been proposed. However, this conventional method requires four receivers, and is therefore difficult to apply when there is a hard ware limitation. In this paper, we propose a method to measure azimuths and elevations of two targets by using two receivers and a time division system. A pairing problem has occurred due to the time division angle measurement with this method, so we also propose an algorithm to solve this pairing problem. We finally verify the proposed method by a numerical simulation and experimentation. The results show that the angles of two targets can be measured by our proposed method by using two receivers.

本稿では、1980 年代から観光と環境保全が融合した現象として世界的に普及したエコツーリズムの基本的な歴史や特性を踏まえた上で、それが生物資源に与える影響を整理し、地域の生物資源の活用・保全とエコツーリズムの今後について示唆した。地域資源の保全や活用への関心が高まる中で、その管理を地域が主体的に進めることが主張されている。そこで、エコツーリズムによって地域側が地域の生物資源を戦略的に活用・保全するための課題を議論し、モデルによって整理して提示した。

日本古代史のいわゆる古墳時代から7世紀末までを高校教科書では約20ページにわたり記述している。5世紀の倭国の五王から7世紀の聖徳太子,天智天皇という流れである。この原典は『日本書紀』で,教科書は戦前の神国史観を否定しているものの,まず6世紀以降をほぼ正しいとしているといってよかろう。戦後史学において,中国史,韓国史との比較,巨大古墳の考証などが進んだとはいえ,まだ重大な疑義が存在する。その大きな柱は中国史料の伝える前3世紀の徐福集団の渡来と6世紀の扶桑国である。1999年は扶桑国僧・訪中1500周年にあたるので,私は日本国内4地域で「扶桑国の謎・シンポジウム」を試みた。『日本書紀』の黙殺した史料の復権であるが,無視する学界と共にマスメディアと教科書メディアに再考を迫るものであった。この『日本紀』(日本書紀)をかの紫式部は「片そば」と批判し,公爵西園寺公望(1849-1940)は「妄誕*の書を信じると国に大いに損がある」(*でたらめ)と書き残したが,20世紀の歴史は「損」どころではなかったのではなかろうか。

The anterior belly of the left digastric muscle of a 75 year old woman was found to be innervated both by the mylohyoid nerve, which entered the deep surface, and by a branch of the stylohyoid branch of the facial nerve, which was distributed in the lateral two-thirds of the more superficial half of the muscle belly. The stylohyoid muscle attached to the hyoid bone by two insertions, neither of which, however, passed superficial to the intermediate tendon of the digastric. It may not be quite impossible to regard this anomaly as showing a transitional stage of the innervation change (Futamura 1906), but origin and course of the anomalous nerve does not agree with that of the embryonal stage. It is suggested, that the part of the normal stylohyoid muscle, which lies superficial to the intermediate tendon, would have been fused to the anterior belly.

Thin laminated devices were successfully made from alumina and PVA in the insulating interlayers in order to produce integral laminated devices more useful for reducing the contact resistance than the conventional laminated devices using the ceramic solder. The proposed process by using alumina powder enables to produce integral laminated devices more reliable than those using PVA powder because of superior insulation characteristics and stability at high temperatures. Multi-layered devices are expected to be produced from finer alumina powders using this process.

The reaction of bis(dithiolene)sulfidotungsten(IV) complex with elemental sulfur yielded bis(dithiolene)(tetrasulfido)tungsten(IV) complex. A labeling experiment using 34S has indicated that the reaction is reversible and a sulfido(trisulfido)tungsten(VI) species is involved as an intermediate. The reaction represents a model reaction of polysulfide reductase of molybdoenzymes.
