A pretty big debate has been going on in the recent philosophy of mind as to whether the phenomenal character of a perceptual experience is exhausted by (or reduced to) its intentional content. On the one hand, Representationalists often argue on the ground of the so-called ‘transparency of experience’ that the phenomenal character of an experience is exhausted by its intentional content. On the other hand, qualia theorists object that there are non-intentional features of experiences (‘qualia’). But, in my view, the debate itself is wrong-headed in this respect: it presupposes that intentional contents of experiences can be explained without mentioning their phenomenal characters, but this presupposition is groundless. In this paper, I argue, by reconsidering the ‘transparency of experience’ thesis, that a more appropriate view on the relationship between intentional contents and phenomenal characters of experiences is a pretty much different one than that shared by both sides of the debate.

Empathic perspective-taking, usually measured with the Interpersonal Reactivity Index, refers to the tendency to adopt the psychological viewpoint of others; whereas spatial perspective-taking, measured with a cognitive task, is the ability to mentally rotate oneself into another’s spatial perspective. Erle and Topolinski (2015, study4) found these two ways of perspective-taking to be correlated, suggesting a shared mechanism between them. However, this finding was not supported by a replication study. We conducted an additional replication study by adding improvements to the replication study (e.g., a-priori power analysis), which again did not find a correlation between the two types of perspective-taking.

【目的】幼児期前期の子どもの嫌いな食べ物は,1歳6ヶ月児から3歳児にかけて変化するかを既存の縦断的データを用いて質的に検討する。【方法】静岡県伊東市保健センターにおいて,平成12年度から15年度に出生した子どもを対象に実施した,10ヶ月児,1歳6ヶ月児,3歳児健康診査の全てを受診した1,313人分の問診票データを利用した。項目は,10ヶ月児の属性,1歳6ヶ月児と3歳児の属性および好き嫌いの有無,各年齢における嫌いな食べ物(自由記述)を用いた。また,1歳6ヶ月児と3歳児の両方で好き嫌いがあった者(以下,あり→あり)の内,嫌いな食べ物の内容を抽出して変化の内容を分類した。【結果】1歳6ヶ月児と3歳児における好き嫌いの有無から4群を作成した結果,“あり→あり”456人(38.7%),“あり→なし”150人(12.7%),“なし→あり”233人(19.8%),“なし→なし”339人(28.8%)であった。“あり→あり”のうち,両年齢で嫌いな食べ物が継続しているかを調べたところ,“嫌いな食べ物継続” 91人(7.7%),嫌いな食べ物が継続しなかった“嫌いな食べ物変化”は154人(13.0%),“判断不能の者”211人(17.9%)の3群に分けられた。【結論】1歳6ヶ月児と3歳児の両年齢で好き嫌いがあると回答している場合でも,その約半数は嫌いな食べ物が変化しており,その嫌いな食べ物の変化は多様であった。

本論文の目的は,工場や事業所の製品原価計算について,その実態を明らかにすることである.管理会計教育における製品原価計算の割合は依然として大きいにもかかわらず,近年,この領域が研究者によって研究されることは少なくなってしまった.そこで本論文は,規範的な議論ではなく,実証的かつ経験的な方法によって製品原価計算の利用目的と設計原理を探求する.探索的因子分析の結果,製品原価計算の5つの利用目的が明らかとなった.また,これらの利用目的と技術変数などが,製品原価の範囲,総合/個別原価計算の選択,原価情報の報告相手,といった設計要素に影響を与えることが明らかとなった.

本稿では,ニュー・マテリアリズムの理論を教育研究に取り入れる意義について論じた。社会科学や人文学では,旧来,主体性は意思のある人間の性質とされ,物は因果的な性質を持つとして人間からは区別されてきた。近年の社会科学において注目されている社会構築主義においては,人間と物の多様で複雑な関係が考慮され,子どもの学習のミクロな過程が明らかにされてきた。しかし,物は人間にとっての道具に置き換えられることによって人間との関係を有すると考えられ,子どもの学習は言説的相互行為を分析することを通してのみ明らかにされてきた。ポスト構築主義に立つニュー・マテリアリズムでは,上記のような物と人間の二元論の克服が目指される。ニュー・マテリアリズムでは物の主体性と人間の主体性を対称的に捉え,コミュニケーションへの参加者が非人間にまで拡大される。物と人間はアッサンブラージュとして内的-作用をしていると捉えられ,特定の発達の筋道を辿らない生成変化が注目される。研究者は,回折的方法論によって実践から切り離されたデータと縺れ合うことで新しい知識を生産する。このようなフラットな教育理論を採用することは,これまで否定的な評価を受けてきた子どもの学習の肯定的側面を捉えることや,これまで見過ごされてきた知識の生産を促し,規範的な教育論から逃れた教育実践と研究の新しい方向性を見出す可能性を有している。

【目的】本研究の目的は,人工股関節全置換術(以下,THA)後急性期患者における4 日間の大腿四頭筋への低周波電気刺激療法(以下,EMS)の有効性を明らかにすることとした。【方法】女性THA 患者52 名をコントロール群と介入群に無作為に分けた。両群とも通常のリハビリテーションに加え,1日2回の端座位での膝伸展運動20 回を行い,介入群ではEMS を併用した。手術1 ヵ月前,術後4 日目に膝伸展筋力,歩行速度,歩行時痛を測定した。膝伸展筋力と歩行速度は術前比を,歩行時痛は術前差を算出し,2 群で比較した。【結果】介入群において膝伸展筋力と歩行速度の術前比は有意に高値を示し,歩行時痛も術前より有意に低下する結果となった。【結論】THA 後急性期の4 日間の大腿四頭筋へのEMS は膝伸展筋力と歩行速度の回復および歩行時痛の軽減に有効である可能性が示唆された。

Objectives: We aimed to investigate the clinical features of upper extremity deep vein thrombosis (UEDVT).Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the background, thrombus site, treatment, and outcome of 76 UEDVT patients.Results: Of the 76 UEDVT patients, 44 (57.9%) were men, and 51 (67.1%) were complicated by malignancy, 44 (57.9%) had an indwelling central vein (CV) catheter, 8 (10.5%) had concomitant pulmonary embolization (PE), and 33 (43.3%) were symptomatic. Regarding the thrombus site, the right internal jugular vein was the most common, with 30 cases (35.3%). As regards the treatment method, 53 patients (69.7%) received oral anticoagulants. In 2015, when direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) was covered by insurance, there were 44 UEDVT cases, of which 34 (77.3%) received DOACs. Outcomes at a mean observation period of 37.5±41.5 months included 40 deaths (52.6%) with a mean survival of 16.3±21.3 months. The most common cause of death was malignancy, with 33 cases (82.5%).Conclusion: In the background of UEDVT, the combination of indwelling CV catheter placement and malignancy was frequently observed. While the risk of recurrence or PE complications is low, the prognosis of UEDVT complicated by malignancy is extremely poor.

This research note analyzes an Ainu hunting colored picture by Matsuura Takeshirō (1818-1888), a well-known explorer of Ezo (Hokkaido), newly discovered by Professor Matsuda Kiyoshi among uncatalogued materials in the Yamamoto Dokushoshitsu (読書室) collection. The painting is a hansetsu (height 140.5 cm, width 31.6 cm) of gasen paper, owned by Yamamoto Ayao. On the reverse, the author’s name “松浦武四郎” (Matsuura Takeshirō) is written in ink, seemingly in the handwriting of Ayao. The san inscription is a waka poem, “Namimakura ukitomo shirazu ukineshite yowataru michizo kokoro yasukere” (Sleeping with your head on the waves, free from worldly worries, is the way to spend life, with a peaceful heart), written in ink by Takeshirō on the upper part of the piece. The rakukan inscription is “多気志絵” (Takishi e, drawn by Takeshi, Taki county). The rakukan-in seal reads “古春” (Koshun, old spring), a previously- unseen mark. The year of production is not given. The painting was probably a gift to Ayao or his father, Yamamoto Bōyō, teacher of Kakeshirō in Chinese classics and natural history.

It is desirable to build an educational program that demonstrates leadership in the new field of the “university professional”.
