日本やドイツなどの第二次世界大戦の敗戦国の「戦後」に関しては、戦争責任や「過去の克服」に関する研究が国内外で進展してきた。一方で戦勝国の「戦後」については、大戦中の戦略爆撃による非戦闘員の大量殺戮、大戦後の統治領域での植民地主義や人種主義の継続など、数々の問題が指摘されているものの十分な研究がなされてこなかった。こうした状況を踏まえ、本研究は戦勝国の中からイギリスに焦点を当て、大戦から受けた複合的、重層的な影響を、外交史、西洋史、文化史、科学史の知見を融合して学際的かつ包括的に検証し、「戦後」をめぐる研究に戦勝国と敗戦国という境界線を越えた形での新たな視座を提示することを目指す。

人工知能が今後の人間,社会に与える恩恵や影響を,具体的な技術の現状と課題を踏まえて考える.まず,人工知能技術の基礎(ニューラルネットワーク,深層学習,知識ベースシステム)と現状,および今後の方向性(実世界と人間性)について概説する.次に,人工知能技術が直面する課題(信頼性・安全性,説明可能性,偏向,価値の齟齬,実世界と人間性)および今後の発展に向けた研究状況を紹介する.最後に,人工知能の今後に関して,人工知能は心を持つべきか,および,人工知能が社会にとってどういう存在であるべきかという観点から論じる.

発症後第14病日以内(中央値第1.5病日)に入院した初発脳卒中患者20人の下肢筋断面積をCTを用いて経時的に計測した.(1)「全介助群」で入院2週後の両側大腿,下腿筋断面積は,入院時の79~86%(両側大腿,下腿各々の平均80%,84%)と有意に減少し,4週時に69~79%,8週時に62~72%まで萎縮した.(2)「早期歩行自立群」では,2週時で96~100%と断面積を維持していた.(3)両群の「中間群」では,2週時に89~95%と有意に減少したが,8週時には入院時の94~99%(入院時と有意差なし)まで回復した.早期リハビリテーション患者でも廃用性筋萎縮は見られ,麻痺側でも十分な訓練により筋肥大をきたすが,回復には歩行訓練開始までの期間の3倍以上の長期間かかることが示唆された.

近年,蛇紋岩化作用に伴って発生する水素の意義が見直され,地球有機物圏は下部地殻~上部マントル域に飛躍的に広がろうとしている。その発見は生物地球化学的視点から始まったが,メタンおよびプロパン以上の無機起源中~長鎖炭化水素も見つかり地球内部炭素循環の理解の変革が求められている。それら超深度炭化水素・有機物は濃度的には希薄だが地球規模での総量は膨大であり,また炭化水素は移動して集積することができるため新たな炭化水素資源域として見直される可能性も高い。本研究では新たな未解明フロンティアである地下超深部での有機物の特徴と組成,その濃度,炭素の起源,炭化水素生成プロセス等についての解明を行う。

This study attempts to clarify the actual road traffic circumstances and to investigate the change of accessibility of Nagano Prefecture from 1990 to1997 by using GIS. The main findings are summarized as follows. Firstly, there is a great difference between the speed of automobiles moving in the city and those moving outside the city. Secondly, as a result of extension of highway, time distance from Matsumoto to Hokushin area is reduced largely. Then, movement efficiency of automobile in Nagano Prefecture has improved, and the time required for the movement by 1km is improved from 1.3 minute to 1.0 minute.

高齢者の増加に伴って救急医療の需要はさらに増大し,高齢者の救急搬送も全体の約6割(354万人)を占めている.搬送困難(受入困難)は大きな社会問題である.救急で入院し,原疾患の治療を終えた高齢者がADLの低下や社会的問題で自宅への退院ができなくなった場合,いわゆる出口問題が出現する.救急医療こそ地域連携が重要であり,医療・看護・介護システム(地域包括ケア)の中の資源と捉え,積極的に密接な地域連携を構築することが極めて重要であると考えられる.

非アルコール性脂肪性肝疾患(nonalcoholic fatty liver disease:NAFLD)は,本邦に約2千万人以上の患者がおり,生命予後に関わる高度線維化群は今後さらに増加することも危惧されている.この2千万人以上のなかから,肝線維化・肝硬変NAFLDの効率的な拾い上げ,また近年非ウイルス性肝疾患を基盤とする肝細胞癌(hepatocellular carcinoma:HCC)が増加しており,そのスクリーニングの必要性も唱えられている.今回,診療ガイドラインの改訂に伴い,1)肝線維化の重要性,2)線維化群の効率的な拾い上げ,フォローアップ方法,3)肝発癌に関するスクリーニング方法,4)新たな治療方針を中心にNAFLDの最新の情報を概略した.今後,NAFLDの肝線維化の重要性が広く認識され,線維化・HCCのスクリーニングが効率的に行われ,最終的に有効な治療につながることを望む.

The foot region plays an important role in postural control. It is often observed that improvement of foot and foot joint functions leads to improvement of movements of the lower limbs, pelvis, trunk, and eventually the entire body. We generally use the position of plantar pressure as a parameter for the evaluation of the foot region and foot joints, because the center of plantar pressure (COP) provides important information. In patients with dysfunction in the foot region, COP is often deviated to the big or little toe side during movements, or induction of COP from the little toe side to the big toe side is often difficult. In therapeutic exercise for control of COP in such patients, closed kinetic chain exercise is considered effective. In such exercises, monitoring of the necessary activities of the peripedal muscles caused by changes in COP is important. In this study, we examined the electromyographic integral of the peripedal muscles caused by changes in COP using a ground reaction force plate and electromyography. In the measurement, a surface electromyograph, Mlyosystem 1200 (NORAXON Co.), was used for recording electromyography. For electromyography analysis, MyoResearch (NORAXON Co.) software was used for calculation of the integrated values of the electromyography. A force plate (Anima Co.) was synchronized with the surface electromyograph. Weight loading on the forefoot and hind foot induced characteristic muscular activity patterns of muscles around the foot. For changing COP, muscular activity of muscles around the foot is necessary, and it is important to know that the muscular activity pattern varies depending on the position of COP.

本稿は、長期野宿者に対して居宅をすみやかに提供し、居宅移行後もケアを継続する支援実践であるハウジング・ファーストを質的調査から検討する。なかでもアパートに出現する「幽霊」に悩む男性の経験をめぐって、その男性、支援者、福祉事務所、不動産屋、地域住民との間で経験の分離がどのように立ち現れ、そしてそれに人々がどのように向き合うのかという問題に着目した。そのことで、ハウジング・ファーストのフィデリティである無条件性がどのように達成されているのかが明らかになった。当事者と支援者は経験の分離から離脱せず、両者が共有する「経験の飛び地」を志向することによって、相互作用を継続させた。そのことが結果的に当事者に変容を迫らない無条件性を成立させていた。しかし経験の分離が保たれたまま「飛び地」を志向することは、両者を取り巻く社会においては容易に共有されず、否定されていた。住居提供にとどまらず、「飛び地」を拡大することに当事者たちの生活を支える社会運動としてのハウジング・ファーストの意義が存在する。

ホップの害虫であるアサトビハムシは,ホップの萌芽期に加害を開始する.本種による被害は剪芽における良質な芽の確保に支障をきたす.ホップに既登録のカルタップ75.0%水溶剤およびビフェントリン2.0%水和剤は本種に高い防除効果を示すことから,萌芽時に本種の被害を確認したら,直ちにこれらの薬剤を散布することにより本種の被害を防止できる.

Iwate University has been operating a portfolio system termed “In Folio” since 2016, which has been serving as the driving force behind the institution's internal quality assurance system of education. It is designed to collect various types of information needed for internal quality assurance, accumulate records pertaining to student learning, and present the status of achievement to students. While establishing this system, discussions were held at the educational program level, including clarifying the relationship between the degree awarding policy and each of the subjects that make up the curriculum. However, discussions regarding improvement are ongoing based on the data. Based on this Iwate University initiative and previous studies, this paper proposes two points of view on building an internal quality assurance system for education: the first is to treat the system as a series of activities for improving university education, including, for example, FD, while the other is to collect and share data as much as possible. We suggest that this will advance discussions on substantive educational improvement strategies.

After the revision of the government course guidelines, the Japanese Ministry of Education changed the form of the cumulative guidance record in 2019. It was determined that the new evaluation is based on three viewpoints: “knowledge and skills”, “thinking, judgment, and expression,” and “self-directed attitude toward learning.” In the present paper, the implications and methods of these evaluations are summarized. Self-directed attitude toward learning is a new point and is often regarded as difficult to understand. It contains two aspects: persistent efforts and self-regulation of learning. The latter is derived from psychological studies about “self-regulated learning” based on the three phases of “forethought – performance – reflection.” However, we should also consider the larger contexts of learning, and improve daily lessons and evaluation methods to foster students’ self-regulation.
