本稿の目的は,国際教育協力分野の教員研修による成果を持続・普及させる一助として授業アーカイブスのあり方に関する若干の考察を行い、その基本的な問題点を整理することである。レクチャ、エキスパート、トレイニーの3っのカテゴリー別でアーカイブスの役割を述べた上で、その問題点を技術面(ファイルサイズと配信方式、データ収録・編集技法)、運用面(研修員のICT能力拡充、メンタリング、省力化、キラーコンテンツ確保)、法規面(著作権、肖像権、個人情報保護)から整理した。

慢性心不全では睡眠呼吸障害を高率に合併することが知られている. 特にチェーン-ストークス呼吸を伴う中枢性睡眠時無呼吸の割合が多く, 予後不良因子とされている. 一方, 睡眠呼吸障害に対し治療介入することで, 左室駆出率や生命予後の改善が期待できるとの報告がある. 具体的な治療法として, 閉塞性睡眠時無呼吸においては持続陽圧呼吸療法 (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure ; CPAP) の有用性が確立されている. しかし, 中枢性睡眠時無呼吸にはnon-responderが存在し, CPAPの有用性については議論がある. 中枢性睡眠時無呼吸の治療において, 新しいデバイスとしてadaptive servo ventilation (ASV) に注目が集まっている. 症例は体重増加, 労作時呼吸困難を主訴に来院した74歳, 男性. 外来にて利尿薬等による内服管理をしていたが, 経胸壁心臓超音波検査にて推定収縮期右室圧の上昇を認めた. さらにSwan-Gantzカテーテル検査では, 左心不全を認めるとともに, 右房圧・右室圧の上昇を認めた. 原因精査のため終夜ポリソムノグラフィを施行したところ, チェーン-ストークス呼吸を伴う中枢性睡眠時無呼吸を認めた. CPAPにて治療を開始したが, 十分な治療効果が得られず, ASVに変更し継続したところ, 無呼吸イベントの抑制とともに左室駆出率は上昇し, 右房圧・右室圧・肺動脈楔入圧はいずれも低下した. ASVはチェーン-ストークス呼吸を伴う中枢性睡眠時無呼吸を合併した心不全において有効な非薬物治療法と考えられた.

A fabrication method of a painless transdermal micro needle array is proposed to realize its inexpensive and mass production. In order to avoid a risk by breakage of the needle when the needle is penetrated into the epidermis, the array is made with biodegradable polymer, for example, PLA. The proposed method has the following processes, (1) a mold dies having many micro through-holes is heated over the melting point of PLA, (2) the heated mold comes into contact with surface of the PLA plate, (3) the melted PLA is poured into the through-holes, and (4) the formed PLA plate is cooled to less than the melting point and removed from the dies. It is difficult to fabricate the array device because of the ratio of needle height to the diameter is large. So, heating temperature, time of heating the plate, moving stroke of dies and demolding temperature were examined and then fabrication of high precision circular cylindrical shaped needle array became possible.

A new fabrication method of a painless micro needle array for high reliable vaccine delivery system through a epidermis is proposed. This method has been developed to realize the inexpensive and mass production of the needle array. For safety against the break of the needle, the needle is made with biogradable polymer (PLA). The proposed method has the following processes, (1) Si tool in a shape of micro needle array is heated, (2) tops of the needles over the Si tool are touched onto the surface of the polymer plate to melt the contacting areas, and (3) the Si tool is detached from the plate to form the needles by elongating the melted polymer. In order to make the uniform needles over the plate, temperature, touching time, and withdrawing speed of the Si tool and tolerance of the polymer plate are examined. By the optimized working conditions, keen corn-type needles having the height of about 500μm can be formed enable to penetrate into the epidermis.

馬喉嚢の機能を解明する糸口を得るため, 粘膜における各種免疫グロブリンのアイソタイプおよびサブアイソタイプの分布を調べた.その結果, IgGaおよびIgM含有細胞は粘膜のリンパ小節と粘膜下リンパ小節に認められ, IgGcは粘膜下リンパ小節にのみ検出された.これらはいずれもリンパ球や形質細胞内に認められた.一方, IgAは前記遊走細胞に加えて腺上皮や粘膜上皮表層に検出されたことから, 腺上皮から分泌される分泌型IgAの存在が示唆された.

防災や防犯に対する意識を高め,子どもの教育に携わっていく学生に護身教育を実践した。先行研究等による知見などから指導のあり方をより精査して整え,新種目にも取り組み,その有効性を質問紙法により得られた回答から考察した。コミュニケーション力を向上させるリレーやボール運びは楽しさの先行から発展的に護身への導きは難しく,実践前後の丁寧な補足説明をすることにより,教育の意図やねらいを理解する力が育ち,意識が向上していくことを考えた。新種目とした掴まれた腕を外す技術は興味関心が高く,身近に起こりえるケースとしてとらえていることも考えられ,実践方法を含めた取り組みやすさがあることを今回の実践研究から得られた。

Microporous carbons were produced by carbonizing and activating bamboo (phyllostachys heterocycla). Carbon dioxide was used as an activating agent. Also the activated carbons were produced using bamboo carbons with less potassium fractions. The potassium fractions are mainly distributing in the middle lamella that connects the adjacent cell walls of bamboo. The micropore distribution became sharper for the carbon produced using bamboo carbon with smaller potassium fractions and controlling the yield of activated carbon no less than 70%. It seems that potassium fractions in the middle lamella will accelerate the activation reaction, and then the micropore distribution tends to be broader when the activation reaction reaches the middle lamella.

The EU is on the verge of revising, or at least making flexible the guiding principle of its unified currency. They are making, I'm afraid, a fatal error of judgement. The remarkable success, so far, of the euro was entirely due to the shift of macro-economic principles, from demand management to monetary targeting.<br>The guiding principle of the single currency, of which the most important is to contain budget deficit within 3% of the GDP, was certainly a kind of straight-jacket to many of the participating countries to the euro. The majority of the 12 participants, including such laggards as Ireland and Greece, managed to endure inflationary and other pressures, inflicted by the "one-size-fits-for-all" measures demanded by the stability and growth pact.<br>Ironically, it is Germany, France and Italy, the 3 largest and central countries of the euro zone, that are now crying for help. It is especially paradoxical that Germany, which has been demanding the strict application of the SGP principles, has now excessive budgetary deficit and is calling for flexibility in their applications.<br>As of the beginning of March, 2003, it is not decided yet whether the SGP should be revised or not, but judging from the report the Commission presented to the Ecofin Council, they are sure to make "flexible interpretations", if not revisions to the SGP. Are they right? I thnk not.<br>Ms. Kathleen McNamara, Assistant Professor at Princeton, produed a remarkable book on the euro, called "The Currency of Ideas" (1998). Based on the analysis of the world monetary history after the war, including the Bretton Woods system, she concluded that European monetary systems made a great success, because their guiding principles were shifted from Keynesian to Neoliberal theories. In European context, this meant that all the euro participants had virtually abandoned Keynesian demand management policies and converted to the monetarist approach, which the German Bundesbank had pursued since the end of the World War II.<br>World monetary authorities are now facing unprecedented pressures of world-wide deflation. It is understandable that European financial authorities are demanding flexibility in applying the SGP. But we must remind ourselves that in the colossalised economies, demand stimulus rarely works, as is shown by Japanese policies. Euro financial ministers should be patient.<br>Fortunately for the majority of euro-participants, the March Ecofin Council only produced a very short statement on the SPG that it "provides a robust and flexible framework within which any additional strains on public finances will be addressed". It was reported that Gordon Brown, British Chancellor of Exchequer, had tried to present a plan to make a flexible interpretation to the SGP, but Belgium, Spain, Italy and other small countries prevented the proposal, made in collaboration with France and Germany. The EU might have to endure some period of uncertainty over the euro. But it may turn out to be beneficial to the single currency after all.

地表面上の垂直微小電流源によって励振されるパルス波伝搬について、解析的・数値的手法を用いて検討をした。地表面をインピーダンス境界面で近似し、周波数領域における解析結果をFFTを用いて数値解析することにより、時間領域における応答波形を求めた。この場合の波源のパルス波形としては、ガウス形の変調パルスを仮定している。境界面のインピーダンス値が高誘導性の場合、従来のNorton地表波の他に遅波形の表面波パルスが励振されることを明らかにした。表面波パルスは減衰が大きいために、遠距離においては地表波のみが観測されることを示した。また、地表波の伝搬が大気の状態により大きく影響を受けるのに対して、表面波はほとんど影響を受けないことを明らかにした。

The influence of ferrous contaminations or keratin treatments on the degradation of bast fibers induced by the irradiation with ultraviolet rays was investigated. The ferrous contaminations accelerated the degradation. The treatments with keratin were effective for suppression of the degradation, and enhanced the tensile strengths of bast fibers.

近年,自動車に対する脆弱性事例が多数報告されており,自動車のセキュリティが注目されている.これまでに販売されている自動車の多くは機能安全規格に対応されつつあり故障などに対して安全ではあるものの,攻撃者からの意図的なサイバー攻撃に対しては対策されておらず,脆弱であることが指摘されている.また,リアルタイム性やコスト制約が厳しい車載制御システムでは情報セキュリティの対策技術をそのまま適用することができない場合があり,車載制御システムの特徴を生かしたセキュリティ対策技術が必要とされている.本解説記事では,車載制御システムに求められる安全性とセキュリティを概説する.

牛卵胞卵子を体外成熟,体外受精後,体外培養することにより得た胚(胚盤胞~脱出胚盤胞)について割球数を算定し,染色体を詳細に分析して,染色体数の異常を調べるとともに性染色体分析による性判別も試みた。体外受精後8~12日目に得た胚盤胞~脱出胚盤胞を供試胚とし,0.04μg/mlのコルセミドと5%仔牛血清を含むTCM 199(25 mM HEPES緩衝)中で90~180分培養した。ついで0.5%クエン酸ナトリウム溶液で低調処理後,メタノール:酢酸:水=3••2••1で一次固定,スライドガラス上で酢酸を滴下することにより二次固定を行い,ギムザ染色後,割球数と染色体解析を行った。主なる結果は次の通りであった。1.胚盤胞,拡張胚盤胞および脱出胚盤胞にみられる平均割球数は,それぞれ68.2±34.7,100.1±51.5,128.1±56.8個と変異は大きいが,ステージが進むにつれ,平均割球数は有意に増加した。2.中期核板出現率は81%前後でステージによる変化はなく,中期核板数は胚盤胞期で平均4.3個,拡張胚盤胞期で5.7個,脱出途中~胚盤胞脱出胚盤胞期で5.1個であった。3.雌雄判別率は胚盤胞,拡張胚盤胞,脱出胚盤胞とステージが進むにつれ53.7,65.1,82.4%と有意に増加した。判別可能であった全胚のうち雌は35個,雄は29個であった。4.染色体数の異常胚率は発生ステージが進むにつれて,やや増加する傾向を示した。また雌胚の方が雄胚にくらべて染色体異常が多い傾向がみられた。

本研究ではまず、インドネシア人コミュニティ形成の経緯について明らかにした。続いて、そのコミュニティの成員中100人を対象とした日本語のOPI(Oral Proficiency Interview)を行った結果、中級以上の話者が5人(5%)にとどまっていることが分かった。さらに、そうした現況の背景を探るために個人の生活史を聞き取り、日本語習得と関連付けて分析したところ、習得を促進する要因が見えてきた。比較対照のために行った韓国における調査においても似通った要因が見られた。

We have developed a multimedia information system for railroad passengers, that can retrieve graphics and full-color images as well as alphanumeric data. This system consists of a host computer, user terminals, and workstations for creating and editing information pages. These components are linked through a high-speed Ethernet LAN. The user terminals requires high-speed response, so JPEG compression is used in full-color images to reduce the time required to transmit images from the host computer.In September 1993, experimental user terminals were set up in Kintetsu Namba Station, Uehonmachi Station and Abenobashi Station. The tourist information on the Shima Spain Village and Ise-Shima National Park provided by these user terminals has been highly evaluated by users.
