高等教育機関が,教育研究の質の向上と,社会に対して説明責任を果たすことは,日本のみならず世界の先進国が共通に抱える課題である。この課題について,アメリカでは州立大学を中心に,2007年からボランタリー・システム・オブ・アカウンタビリティー(VSA)という取り組みが行われている。VSAは,大学情報の公開を通じて,大学改革を促し,同時に社会に対して適切な情報の提供を目的としている。そのために,共通化された大学情報のフォーマットであるカレッジ・ポートレイトを用い,高等教育界が自発的に問題解決を試みているものである。本報告では,VSAの取り組みの紹介を通じ,日本における今後の大学情報の収集および公開方法のあり方を検討している。

倉庫を所有する企業では,在庫管理業務は非常に煩雑な作業である.そのため大企業では,倉庫の在庫をセンサーで自動検知できるような在庫管理システムを導入しているところが多い.一方で中小企業では,センサーが高額なためセンサーを持たない在庫管理システムを利用している場合が多い.その場合は人手で在庫を入力しており,十分に業務効率を改善できていない.そこで,我々は在庫を自動検知できる低コストな在庫管理システムを構築した.これはクラウドサービス kintone と Arduino を用いた IoT を組み合わせることで,低コストで最小限の機能を実現するものである.本研究では,アジャイル型の開発を行うことで,要求と成果物のギャップと,ハードウェア部品と工数のコストを削減した.

Extracting keywords from a target text data is essential for an analysis to describe substance characteristics of message content. We picked a use of a stopword filter from among alternatives because the method has the advantage that it is simple yet effective way. The filter we present was made up of non-content words and low-content words. Non-content-bearing words consisted mainly of function words and were gotten rid of by using part-of-speech (POS) tag information. High occurrence rate words in remaining had prospects of being keywords, however usually there were some low-content words like delexical verbs and so on. This article presents a stopword list obtained to come up with low-content words by sensuous manual procedures carried out using 40 text files from the CASTEL/J database and establishes it in the view of general versatility.

大学全入時代を迎え,日本の大学は厳しい競争環境の下に置かれている。学生募集は,大学の生き残りに関わる重要な要素になっている。その中で,大学の提供する情報は,大学からの発信と同時に,大学のランキングやガイドブックという形で大学外からも発信され,その需要が飛躍的に高まっている。アメリカでは,10年以上前から,現在の日本のような状況になっている。その時,大学による大学ガイドへの情報提供に多くの不正が生じ,社会問題に発展している。本稿では,この問題を解決したCommon Data Set(CDS)に焦点を当てている。CDSは,主に大学ガイド出版社が,大学情報を収集するために用いる共通化された質問集と定義集である。その開発の背景と開発過程を明らかにし,大学情報の管理と質保証のあり方を述べている。

1)系譜研究:農業分野では精糖技術の復元、窯業分野ではイスラム陶器の分析研究、薬学分野では医薬技術と社会意識との接点の研究を通して、前イスラムの時代から近代直前期まで幅広い時代のイスラム技術の系譜が紐解かれた。2)広域研究:中東イスラム、東南アジア、中央アジアの動向分析を通して、地域に育まれた豊かな経済が新たな資源の登場によって消滅していく過程や、イスラム圏の各地でITがさまざまな形で積極的に利用されている動向も明らかになった。

近年,Squeak eToys は論理的な思考と問題解決能力を育むことを目的とした教育に用いられてきた子どもが直感的にプログラミングを学ぶことができる Squeak eToys は,多くのワークショップや教育現場などで利用され,全国的な広がりを見せている。しかし, Squeak eToys を学校教育の救科の単元に導入するには教員にもある程度のプログラミング技術が要求される.そこで,本研究ではスクリプティング不要で簡単に作れる 「教具」 としての Squeak eToys の使い方を提案する.In recent years, Squeak eToys has been used for education aimed at bringing up logical thinking skill and problem solving. The Squeak eToys by which children can learn program ming is used in many workshops of educational fields. It requires, however, school teacher programming skills to introduce Squeak eToys into subject of the school education. In this paper, we suggest the Squeak eToys as a teaching tool may give a more effective environment than ever.

本研究ではSNS 交流が,共感力や現実の友人関係,QOL(Quality of Life)を連鎖的に向上させるという仮説を設定した。そして,情報系大学生を対象に集合調査法で調査し,共分散構造分析で検証した。その結果,SNS 交流がそれらの要素を向上させていることが検証された。また,SNS 交流のネットと現実の共感力へ及ぼす促進効果が現実友人関係やQOL に与える影響は,SNS 疲れやテクノ・ネット依存症傾向の悪影響よりもその向上効果が高いことが示された。さらに,ネット共感力が現実共感力を向上させる可能性も示唆された。

Estimation of induced current inside a human body exposed to ELF (extremely low frequency) magnetic field are still remaining as an important issue. There are many computational studies reporting the relationship between outer magnetic filed and induced current inside the human body. In addition, there are some limit values regarding human exposure to magnetic field based on the induced current density. Here, we investigated and compared the relationship between magnetic field and induced current among existing literatures and guidelines. The result showed that each estimated value of magnetically induced current varied widely.

古典中国語(漢文)の解析手法として,MeCabを用いた形態素解析手法を提案する.本手法では,漢文の動賓構造を表現すべく,4階層の「品詞」からなる新たな品詞体系を構築し,それに基づくMeCab漢文コーパスを設計した.合わせて,MeCab漢文コーパスを入力するための専用ツールとして,XEmacs CHISEをベースとしたコーパス入力ツールを開発した.また,MeCab漢文コーパスを効果的に管理し,さらには品詞体系のリファクタリングを行うべく,MeCab漢文コーパスのLinked Data化を行い,WWW上で公開した.さらに,MeCabを用いた漢文形態素解析の応用として,漢文における固有表現の自動抽出に挑戦した.結果として,地名の自動抽出は高精度に行うことができたが,官職・人名の自動抽出はそれぞれに課題が残った.A method to analyze classical Chinese texts is proposed. In the method, we use our original morphological analyzer based on MeCab. We propose a new four-level word-class system to represent the predicate-object structure of classical Chinese. In order to make a corpus for classical Chinese on MeCab, we have constructed a MeCab-corpus editor based on XEmacs CHISE. In order to control the corpus effectively, and to refactor our four-level word-class system, we have converted it into Linked Data on WWW. As an applied study for our morpholgical analysis of classical Chinese texts, we have tried to extract named entities: names of places, job titles, and names of people. As a result we are able to extract names of places from classical Chinese texts almost perfectly. But we have found some difficulties to extract job titles or names of people.

中近世の日本の誓約の文書は「起請文」と呼ばれた。それは、まず約束の内容を書き、そのあとに「もしウソをついたら、神仏の罰をうける」と書く。これまでその最初の史料とされていたのは、1148年の奈良・東大寺に残る文書だったが、2007年に琵琶湖北岸の塩津港遺跡から出土した木簡は1137年の年号があり、千々和が以前に「勧請型起請文」と名付け、中世初期からの存在を指摘した形式のものだった。これは、まず神仏をこの場に招き(これを勧請という)、そのあとに約束をし、それから「もしウソをついたら、神仏の罰をうける」というものである。本研究は、この新資料を起請文の歴史に位置づけ、その歴史を書き直すものとなった。

A brief review is given of the history and methodology of external dosimetry for the lens of the eye. Under the 1989 revision to domestic radiological protection regulations, the concept on the effective dose equivalent and the dose limit to the lens of the eye (150 mSv/y) both introduced in the ICRP 1977 recommendations has changed nationwide the external monitoring methodology in non-uniform exposure situations to the trunk of a radiological worker. In such situations, which are often created by the presence of a protective apron, the worker is required to use at least two personal dosemeters, one worn on the trunk under the apron and the other, typically, at the collar over the apron. The latter dosemeter serves the dual purpose of providing the dose profile across the trunk for improved effective dose equivalent assessment and of estimating the dose to lens of the eye. The greater or appropriate value between Hp(10) and Hp(0.07), given by the dosemeter, is generally used as a surrogate of Hp(3) for recording the dose to the lens of the eye. The above-mentioned methodology was continued in the latest 2001 revision to the relevant regulations.
