【目的】炊飯をするのに大事な要素の一つに火加減がある。家庭用炊飯器においては、おいしく炊き上げるために常圧より高い沸点を実現できる圧力機能を付与したものが市場に供給されているが、そのほとんどは1.2気圧以下の微圧であり、家庭用炊飯器の高圧炊飯における炊飯米特性の学術的知見はほとんどない。今回、家庭用炊飯器では比較的高圧である1.5気圧程度での炊飯を行い、できた米飯の特徴を明らかにした。<br />【方法】家庭用炊飯器(パナソニック製SR-SPX106)の調圧弁を調整することにより微圧(1.2気圧)あるいは高圧(1.5気圧)炊飯による米飯を得た。まず、32人のパネリストにより2つの試料を比較して7段階で評価した。その後、米飯をホモジナイズし、50%エタノール抽出物を得、遊離アミノ酸と、米飯表層および米飯全体の遊離糖含量を求めた。それぞれ、アミノ酸分析機(日本電子JLC-500/V2)、フェノール硫酸法、イオンクロマトグラフ(Dionex ICS-3000)で測定を行った。常温まで放冷した米飯のテンシプレッサーによる硬さ粘り測定を行った。米飯を粉砕後乾燥した試料を用いてRVA測定を行った。<br />【結果】官能評価によると、高圧炊飯で得られた米飯は有意に硬く、粘りも大きな数値を示す傾向であった。味に関しては差が見られなかったが、米飯粒全体のアミノ酸量は多かった。物性評価では米飯の硬さと粘りは高圧炊飯で有意に増加していた。RVAでは高圧炊飯米飯はブレークダウンを示さず、微圧炊飯とはまったく異なる挙動を示した。これらの結果から高圧炊飯では、炊飯中に結晶構造の崩壊がより進み、かなり特徴的な米飯となることが明らかとなった。

This paper introduces a support system for making presentation slides from a technical paper. This system provides functions that assign slides to each section and put objects on a slide. Inputs to this system are a technical paper as a TeX document, the number of slides that a user wants to make, and keywords of the paper. First, the system converts a paper from a TeX document into an XML document. The XML document can include information of a paper such as ID numbers and term weights. Next, the system calculates weights of terms in the document by the TF*IDF method. Based on the term weights, objects in the document such as sentences, figures and tables are weighted. Using the weights of the objects and slide composition templates, the system decides how many slides are assigned to each section. If a user does not like the assignment, she/he can reassign slides to the section using a presentation composition editor. Then, the system selects a layout for a slide considering the objects in the slide, and extracts objects arranged on the slide. The user can rearrange the objects on the slide using a slide editor. Finally, outputs of the system are generated as presentation slides in XHTML. From experimental results, we concluded our system is useful for making presentation slides.

The development of Paul de Man's deconstruction as well as his theory of reading is closely related to the transformation of his discourse about music. In "The Rhetoric of Blindness (1971)", he states that melody is superior to harmony since the former deconstructs the mistaken illusion of imitation as his famous "deconstructive reading" does. Melody functions as a metaphor of the reading. What is at stake in "Shelley Disfigured (1979)", however, is neither melody nor harmony but measure. Measure is defined as articulated sound, present in both music and language. Reading merely according to the rules of measure or punctuation, called "syntactical or grammatical scansion", is another more important de Manian deconstruction, for the difference between the order of words (grammar) and their meanings (rhetoric), which de Man sees as most problematic, could be deconstructed by accident, as a result of failure to decide how to punctuate sentences in the process of the reading.

症例は76歳,女性.突然の心窩部痛,嘔吐を主訴に当院救急外来を受診された.上部消化管内視鏡検査所見では,胃穹窿部から索状物が認められ,幽門洞へ引き込まれていた.また腹部造影CT検査では,十二指腸球部に占有する5cm大の腫瘤陰影を認めた.まず,術前に用手圧迫を併用し内視鏡下に整復を行い,胃穹窿部から発生したGISTと診断し,小切開による胃部分切除術を施行した.病理組織学的にもKIT(+)CD34(+)でGISTであった.ball valve syndromeをきたした症例に対し,内視鏡下に嵌頓を解除し,適切な加療を行えた1例を経験したので報告する.

Larval cestodes of Anthobothrium sp. (Cestoda: “Tetraphyllidea”) were collected from the gills of the bigfin reef squid, “shiroika” Sepioteuthis lessoniana Férussac in Lesson, 1832 (Cephalopoda: Loliginidae) collected off Shirahama in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. These specimens were morphologically described with DNA information (28S rDNA and cox1) and reported as a new host record. In addition, records of Anthobothrium species in Japan were compiled, and a list of parasites and symbionts of S. lessoniana was provided.

The underlying risk factors for stroke, such as hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, and atrial fibrillation, have been established. However, the factors that trigger stroke in patients at high risk are still uncertain. Recent epidemiological studies have documented the possibility that Asian dust may be related to diseases and health conditions. Recently, utilizing data from the Fukuoka Stroke Registry(FSR), we have shown that Asian dust exposure is associated with the incidence of atherothrombotic brain infarction, a subtype of ischemic stroke. Several studies have reported small but statistically significant associations between short-term particulate matter (PM) exposure and incidence of ischemic stroke. Several biological pathways responsible for PM-associated cardiovascular diseases have been explored, including endothelial dysfunction, production of oxygen species, hypercoagulability, induction of arrhythmia, and systemic inflammation. Because the concentrations of PM were higher in the periods with Asian dust than those in the periods without Asian dust, PM may contribute, at least in part, to the occurrence of atherothrombotic infarction in response to Asian dust exposure. Further studies are needed to elucidate the precise mechanisms.

本稿は、ここ数年の「孤独死」をめぐる言説的飽和状況がかならずしもその現象特性を踏まえた対策につながっていないという問題意識を動機とする、実践のためのレビューである。「孤独死」は高度経済成長を経た1970年代の日本において「都市の孤独」あるいは「老人問題」として注目され始めた現象である。1990年代以降は貧困との結びつきが問題となる一方で、単身世帯の急増にともなって「人生の閉じ方の一様態」という捉え方も社会的に受容されつつあり、「孤独死」の意味合いはさらに多層化し、「孤立死」という用語も用いられるようになってきた。2000年代後半には社会的排除の結果としての孤独な死が相次いで報道され社会問題化するなか、「孤独死(孤立死)」対策が講じられてきた。現在の「孤独死(孤立死)」対策は、その概念の多義性や現象としての捉えにくさゆえに、コミュニティの活性化による「孤立」の予防に主眼が置かれている。しかしながら現に社会的孤立状態にある人びとが抱える「死に至るほどの困難」に対して、それは有効に作用しえない可能性を指摘した。This paper is a welfare sociological review of the discourse on "kodokushi " that means lonely death without anybody noticing and discovered several days later. The class Monogenea (Platyhelminthes) is commonly parasitic on or in aquatic or amphibious vertebrates, mainly fishes, but rarely on aquatic invertebrates. In Japan, a total of 240 nominal species of monogeneans has so far been reported. Freshwater fishes are mainly parasitized by monopisthocotyleans. Based on the number of monogenean species collected by me from Japanese freshwater fishes, 600 to 900 species of freshwater monogeneans may be found on approximately 500 species of freshwater fishes. However, only about 80 monogenean species have been reported to date. And, in total, 15 alien monopisthocotylean species have been reported from alien freshwater fishes in Japan. Monogeneans can establish more readily together with their hosts than other groups of parasites because of their simple life cycle, and some of monogeneans, especially alien species, are known to cause negative impacts on wild and farmed fish stocks. The fauna of alien monogeneans in Japan should be urgently clarified. Only 12 species of monogeneans have been reported from six of the 90 endangered freshwater fish species. It is highly desirable to clarify the monogenean fauna of the freshwater fishes on the verge of co-extinction and to conserve biological diversity of monogenean species.

A special geminate like ff in maffa "pillow", which does not exist in the Standard Japanese (SJ), is found in the Antoh dialect in Fukui Prefecture. This paper deals with the synchronic and diachronic phenomena concerning the ff geminate in addition to bb and ss. This paper has the following purposes: (1) to illustrate the correspondence of geminates between the Antoh dialect and SJ, (2) to investigate the historical development of the geminates in the Antoh dialect, (3) to point out that the manifestation of the geminates in the Antoh dialect is similar to that of the Miyakojima dialect in the Ryukyuan language, and (4) to propose that the explanation for the process of the geminate in this dialect gives a suggestive source to the discussion on the processes of sound changes in the Ryukyuan language.

The review was performed to investigate the functional brain alterations in patients with various kinds of chronic pain including fibromyalgia, chronic low back pain, migraine and the other chronic pain conditions. In these patients functional connectivity was different not only in the sensory–motor system but also in the affective and reward system. New technology have allowed us to identify and understand the neural mechanisms contributing to chronic pain, which provides us novel targets for future research and treatment.

現代日本のミリタリー・カルチャーの2つの構成要素、すなわち、(a)メディア・大衆文化に表現される戦争・軍事組織のイメージ、(b)軍事組織(自衛隊)に固有の文化について、平成26年度には歴史社会学的観点から、平成27~28年度には比較社会学的観点から、それぞれ調査研究を実施した。研究方法としては、インターネット意識調査、文献調査、映像資料調査、博物館・資料館等の現地調査、および関連研究者・実務者へのインタビュー調査等の方法をとった。これらの調査研究で得られた知見を総合した研究成果を、平成29年度中に、研究代表者・分担者の共著として出版予定である。

高分子材料の破壊挙動が複雑な点は,炭素原子間の共有結合と二次的な分子間相互作用が力学応答を支配していることにある.高分子の破壊理論は主鎖の破断強度が実測の破壊強度値に比べて桁違いに高いことをどのように理解するのかということで発展してきた.ガラス状高分子では,内在する固有のき裂やひび割れが起点となって延伸方向に垂直に成長する巨視的クラックやき裂が起こる.結晶性高分子では,破壊の起点の発現は分子や原子レベルの量子論的な分子間相互作用による鎖間の解離によって起こる.いずれにしても,その微視的起点から巨視的なき裂への成長については速度論的さらには確率論的に解析され,最終的に連続体力学による応力とひずみに基づくエネルギー論的概念で解析できる.

要旨: 一側聾は生活面の QOL の低下とハンディキャップを有しているため,医学的介入が試みられている。CROS (Contralateral Routing Of Signals) 型補聴器や埋め込み型骨導補聴器が施行されているが, 装用感や音源定位に関して不良の報告が多い。ヨーロッパではすでに一側聾に耳鳴りを伴った症例に対し人工内耳埋め込み術が施行され, CE (Communauté Européenne)-mark を取得している。そこで国内4施設において共同臨床研究「同側に耳鳴を伴う一側高度または重度感音難聴に対する, 人工内耳の装用効果に関する研究」を施行し, 当院にて1症例を経験した。術後4年経過した現在においても, 雑音下の語音聴取と方向感, 耳鳴りの改善が持続して認められており, 自覚的評価も良好である。一側聾症例における両耳聴効果をさらに実現するため, 今後一側聾に対する人工内耳埋め込み術の導入が期待される。
