矯正施設に福祉の支援を必要とする高齢受刑者・障害受刑者が多くいることが認識されるようになり、彼らが出所し地域で生活を送るうえで退所後適切な福祉サービスにつながらない事や、住居の確保や就労の場がないまま出所する等ソーシャルワークの支援が乏しいため再犯に至るリスクが高い事が問題になっている。そのため、司法と福祉をつなぐ地域定着支援センターが設立され、実践を積み重ねている。本研究では、地域定着支援センターが支援を行った事例について当事者及び関係機関の専門職にヒアリングを行い、福祉の支援が必要な矯正施設出所者が地域生活を円滑に送ることが出来るようにするための要因について明らかにする。It is recognized that there are many elderly and handicapped convicts at correctional institution, and there are high risks at returning to correctional institution without appropriate social work support. Thus, the Japan Council of Regional Sustained Community Life Support Centers for the Elderly and Handicapped Ex-offenders is established to connect social work and justice, and many practices have been carried out to support community life for ex-offenders. In this case study, interview was conducted for clients and professionals at related organizations. 排水中89Sr,90Sr分析を行うにあたって,β線エネルギーの違いを利用して,液体シンチレーションカウンタを用いた迅速分析法について検討した。本法により妨害核種(54Mn,60Co,106Ru,137Cs)を含む模擬排水試料を分析したところ,十分な分析精度と回収率が得られた。また従来法では分析に2~3週間要していたが,本法では3~4日間で分析できることから,排水中89Sr,90Sr分析として,十分に適用可能な優れた方法であることを確認した。

Symmetry bias is sometimes regarded as a culprit that results in fallacies and spoils our logically correct reasoning. We believe, however, that this bias is also indispensable if we are to obtain unfamiliar notions, to think creatively, and to infer heuristically. We devised an algorithm which can overcome the “exploration-exploitation dilemma” that is involved in the decision-making process under conditions of uncertainty, via a computer simulation based on the “2-armed Bandit Problem.” As a result, we confirmed that the agent-model, which contains both kinds of symmetry biases, displayed very flexible behavior, and that it achieved drastically higher scores than the other mechanical agents. In this paper, by drawing upon the theory of ‘Bi-logic’ as developed by Matte Blanco, we discuss why human-beings require this kind of illogicality, and how fundamental it is for human [un]consciousness.

本研究では,1人1台情報端末の環境で初めて学習する児童の情報端末や周辺機器等を操作するスキル(以下,ICT操作スキル)の習得状況を明らかにするため,1)キーボードによる日本語入力の速度と2)基本的な操作やアプリの操作の習得に関する意識を調査した。キーボードによる日本語入力は,活用開始から2か月,3か月,4か月と入力速度が有意に速くなり,文章を見たままに入力する視写入力の方が,文章を読んで考えたことなどを入力する思考入力より速いが,4か月でその差が縮まった。また,基本的な操作やアプリの操作は,活用の多い基本操作や授業支援,プレゼンテーションのアプリから身に付き始め,4カ月で多くの学習ツールなどのアプリの操作が身に付く一方,4か月を経過しても難しい操作や活用の少ないものの操作はまだ身に付かないことが明らかになった。

症例は32歳,男性。水酸化カリウム水溶液の水槽に転落し,当院に搬入となった。肉眼的観察法ではII度熱傷と診断し,熱傷面積は約85%であった。流水洗浄を約2時間15分行い,保存的加療の方針とし集中治療管理を行った。第7病日に敗血症性ショック,acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS)を認めた。抗菌薬投与にて一旦は全身状態改善傾向であったが,ARDSが進行し,第14病日に死亡退院となった。剖検を行い,肺の病理にてdiffuse alveolar damageを認め,ARDSと矛盾しない所見であった。ARDSの原因は熱傷および感染症が考えられた。皮膚病理では一部III度熱傷を認め,肉眼的観察法による評価よりも深達度は深く,初診時または保存的加療継続中に深達度評価を誤っていた可能性が考えられた。外科的治療のタイミングを逃していたため,他の深達度評価法も検討すべきであった。

本研究は,サッカー発祥の地であり,世界最高峰のプレミアリーグを有するイングランドの地域サッカークラブにおけるユース育成の実情を検証するため,内藤がスタッフとして所属したセミプロリーグレベルのクラブ(5部リーグ)「AFCウィンブルドン」に焦点を当て,そのクラブがどのように誕生し,地域に根付いてきたのか,また実際の運営はどのように行われているのかを明らかにし,特にそのユースチームの指導体制や運営実態を筆者自身の体験を交えながら明らかにすることによって,イングランドのサッカークラブにおけるユース育成の内情を実証的に検証することを目的とする。特に,本稿ではイングランドの全体的なサッカー構造を明らかにするために,関連する文献やサイトから,リーグ,カップ戦,サッカークラブ,ユース育成システムなどの概要を明らかにし,長い年月をかけて構築されてきた組織の全容を明らかにする。The purpose of this study is to make the actual conditions of the Youth Training System of Football Club in England clear through the experience of the AFC Wimbledon in Wimbledon. Especially, before examining the case study of the AFC Wimbledon, the present study is to examine an outline of youth football training system in England. The size of E-commerce market in Japan continues to grow, particularly, for Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). The aim of this study is to understand online channel use behavior, assuming that the growth of a consumers' online channel use continues. The authors proposed a Latent Growth Model to estimate the online purchase incidences (purchase or non-purchase) in FMCG. As a result, the authors identified consumer characteristics that the consumers who are likely to purchase online have a lot of time, make bulk purchases and the consumers whose online purchasing increase are time-constrained for shopping, make purchases in holidays, have high price sensitivity. It is also suggested that understanding purchase characteristics (not demographics) is important in a longitudinal perspective. Furthermore, online purchasing in FMCG has strongly influenced the experiences of the usage of EC website on PCs compared with mobile. However, the authors also suggested that the influence of mobile is increasing by consumers gaining experience over time.

症例は70歳の女性。自宅で呼吸苦を自覚し自ら119番通報をした。救急車内収容時に無脈性電気活動(pulseless electrical activity; PEA)となり,救急隊員による約1分間の心肺蘇生術で心拍再開し当院へ搬送された。当院到着時に再びPEAとなり,アドレナリン1mgを投与し,気管挿管,当院スタッフによる約8分間の心肺蘇生術で心拍は再開した。心エコーで著明な右心負荷所見,胸部造影CTで左右の肺動脈に血栓を認め,肺塞栓と診断した。へパリン3,000単位静注後,肺動脈造影を施行したところ,肺動脈主幹部の血栓は既に溶解しており,造影欠損像を末梢に認めるのみであった。循環動態,呼吸状態ともに安定したため,抗凝固療法のみ行う方針でICUに入室させた。しかし,ICU入室4時間後から徐々に血圧が下がり始め,入室6時間後にはショック状態となった。心エコーで右心負荷所見は改善傾向にあり,肺塞栓による閉塞性ショックは否定的だった。腹部エコーで大量の腹水を認め,腹部造影CTでは血性腹水と肝裂傷を認め,胸骨圧迫による肝損傷から出血性ショックに至ったと診断した。硫酸プロタミンでへパリンを拮抗し,大量輸血で循環を安定させ塞栓術による止血を試みた。しかし,肝動脈と門脈からの血管外漏出は認められず,塞栓術による止血は不可能であった。静脈性出血の自然止血を期待し腹腔内圧をモニターしながら,腹部コンパートメント症候群に注意しつつ経過観察した。第2病日循環動態は安定し,第9病日抗凝固療法を再開した。第10病日人工呼吸器離脱し,第40病日独歩退院した。心肺蘇生術後の患者では,蘇生術に伴う合併症の発生を常に念頭に置きながら,原疾患の治療にあたることが重要である。

In Japan spreading of skiing is said to have originated from the ski instruction of Lerch, an Austrian officer, in Takada district since January 12 in 1911. But Nagai, a professor of gymnastics in Tokyo Higher Normal School, indicated that he had done it before Lerch. Staying in Sweden to search for Swedish gymnastics from 1907, Nagai had practised skiing for the study of the physical activity of the Japanese nation. From the end of December in 1910 fell on the 3rd ski season (1910-11) since his return to Japan in early 1909, he started an action to spread skiing in the prefecture of Akita, next to Yamagata, because he got a chance to go to snow area in winter for a course in gymnastics, and after returning to Tokyo, he wrote an article introducing Swedish winter sports in the newspaper "Jijishinpoh (時事新報)" and so on, and in the next ski season (1911-12) he gave ski instruction in the north-eastern section of Japan in the first half of January in 1912. But these activities amounted to no more than an introduction of skiing, and had little influence. On the other hand, at the end of December in 1910 was the same time Nagai started his action, Takada Division started a research for popularizing skiing before Lerch arrived at his post. They accomplished its study in this ski season (1910-11), and in the next ski season (1911-12), they started an action to extend their influence all over Japan, and almost succeeded in it after holding the opening ceremony of Esshin Skiing Club (越信スキ-倶楽部) on February 11 in 1912 fell on the next month Nagai visited the north-eastern section of Japan. Though Nagai used a skiing style with two poles, Lerch's one with one pole has consequently spread in the north-eastern section of Japan.

Habituation to pain has been addressed in many recent studies. It is clear that patients with chronic pain do not become habituated to the pain; however, little is known about habituation to the inner experience of pain. We investigated the brain mechanisms underlying habituation to the inner experience of pain by using event-related potentials (ERPs), which provide superior temporal resolution, and low-resolution brain electromagnetic tomography (LORETA), which enables identification of regions of nervous activity. Fifteen healthy subjects participated in this study. The subjects were shown 4 sets of photographic images, with each set shown 30 times. The images included 15 images of a hand subjected to pain (painful condition). The subjects were instructed to imagine themselves in that condition and to imagine the pain they may experience in such a situation (inner experience of pain). Electroencephalography was continuously performed via 128 scalp electrodes mounted on an electrode cap. ERPs were recorded during the inner experience of pain; we also recorded N110 responses for emotional components and P3 responses for cognitive evaluation. To investigate habituation to the inner experience of pain, the mean amplitudes of P3 and N110 recordings were calculated for the first 2 (early sets) and last 2 (late sets) sets of trials for each painful condition; next, early sets were compared with late sets. We also analyzed the change in nervous activity after habituation to the inner experience of pain by LORETA analysis. The amplitude of central P3 responses was significantly lower for the late image sets than the early image sets of the painful condition. However, the mean amplitude of N110 responses did not significantly change. LORETA analysis of P3 responses showed reduced activity in the left secondary somatosensory area and left posterior insular cortex, indicating that the sensory component of the inner experience of pain was lower in the late sets than in the early sets. During habituation to the inner experience of pain, the P3 response, which is related to cognitive evaluation of this experience, changed, and brain activity, which reveals the sensory component of the inner experience of pain, reduced. Our study suggests that habituation to the inner experience of pain occurs at the point of recognition of the sensory component of pain. We hypothesize that pain recognition necessary for habituation to the inner experience of pain.

ガ類において聴覚は,コウモリによる捕食の回避や種内の音響交信をおこなう上で重要である.大部分の種は,ヒトが感知できない超音波に対して,感受性のある鼓膜器官を聴覚受容器として持つ.本稿では,ガ類における聴覚系の特性を,鼓膜器官の構造・機能及びそれらの多様性について解説する.聴覚が司るガ類のユニークな行動である,コウモリの発する「死」の超音波からの回避と,「愛」の超音波による種内交信について,生理・生態から進化的背景までの知見を解説する.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the standardization of height growth curves of 8 ethnic groups in Thailand and Union of Myanmar. The height of 16,000 children from 5 to 18 years old of 8 ethnic groups, i. e., Thai, Karen, Hmong, Lisu, Akha, and Lahu in Thailand, Burmese and Mon in Myanmar, was measured from 1994 to 2004 in Thailand, from 2005 to 2008 in the Myanmar. Modified BTT model was applied to height growth curve, and the fluctuation of standard deviation was smoothed using weighted moving variation and smoothing function developed by the authors. Finally growth charts were obtained using z-score of normal distribution. Resultant growth charts were generally satisfactory and were seemed to be useful from the perspective of data utilization. Though there are a few problems on the growth charts such as variance was decreased for more than 15 years old, or height growth has continued till 18 years old in some ethnic groups. Representing heights were different more than 10 cm among ethnic groups at 18 years of age. It was confirmed that it is important to create a growth chart by ethnic group respectively and utilize it in order to evaluate properly the growth status and the nutritional condition of the children.

We introduce a large scaled 6 legged walking machine. It was developed to realize a solid and reliable walking vehicle for practical uses in forestry steep terrain with spread mechanical elements those used in usual construction machines. It weighs about 4,000[kg] with aluminum structure. Owing to a mounted diesel engine of output 11[kW] and hydraulic drive systems, it can walk around on a soft soil terrain and climb the steep slope of inclination up to about 30[deg], and walk along contour line of lateral inclination up to about 40[deg]. Finally it walked and worked well, despite it was tested on severe steep terrain where a lot of shrubs and stumps exist.
