視覚障碍者のスマートフォンの所持率は年々増加しており,スマートフォンに内蔵された GPS と音声機能によって屋外での歩行支援が可能になりつつある.しかし,駅構内や地下街などの非 GPS 環境下での歩行支援は難しく,近年様々な方式のインドアナビゲーション技術が提案されている.現在,我々は視覚障碍者が歩行時に使用する点字ブロックに着目し,点字ブロックの周辺に限定した「地磁気マップデータベースを利用したインドアナビゲーション技術」の開発を行っている.本研究では,リアルタイムナビゲーションを実現するために, ユーザが一歩,歩くごとに DTW (Dynamic Time Warping) 処理によって自己位置推定を行うシステムと点字ブロックの敷設情報を利用した新たな地磁気マップデータベースの作成法を提案する.提案したシステムは,加速度センサ,地磁気センサと制御用 PC から構成されており,実験により次に示す結果が得られた.① 1.2m以内の誤差でリアルタイムで自己位置推定ができる.② 音声機能を付加した簡易ナビゲーション実験により,同程度の誤差でナビゲーションが可能である.③ 点字ブロックを目印に歩行し,地磁気を計測することによって高精度の地磁気マップデーベースを容易に作成でき,地磁気マップ作成に要する労力を大幅に削減できる.

The 1996 general election was the first election after the new electoral system has adapted. When this elecoal system is justified, it is stressed that under the election system, selection would be party and policy centered. The aim of this paper is to answer whether the 1996 general election was party and policy centered or not, through an analysis of candidates' campaign pledge and voting behavior. Concretely, I investigate the cleavage of the parties, how the pledges of candidates are formed and whether or not the pledges affect the voters' behavior.In the 1996 general election, the policies mentioned by many candidates were administrative reform, promoting welfare, saving protecting agriculture and objection to rising consumer tax and so on. Through factor analysis, the pledges have four dimensions. They can be interpreted as “administrative and fiscal reform”, “distributive policy”, “conservative or reformist” and “post-materialistic policy”. However, I cannot find any large difference in these dimensions among the candidates of different parties. Except the first dimension, these dimensions are not new one and from the first dimension, no cleavage can be found.The main factor in forming the pledges is which party the candidates belong to. In some policy areas, the regional characteristics or candidates' career are significant. However, the degree of closeness of conpetion has no influence.Finaly, I found the relation between the campaign pledges of policy package and voting behavior. But compared with oher factors of voting behavior, the pledges' influence is very small. So it is diffecult to say that the 1996 general election was a party and policy centered election.

The pressure hull of deep submergence research vehicle is an utmost important structure that secures the safety of crew members against the hydrostatic pressure in deep sea, and should be as compact in size and light in weight as possible in order to obtain easy operation and high maneuverability of the vehicle. In design and fabrication of the pressure hull, the application of high strength material which has reliable characteristic for practical use, of design method suitable for such material and fabrication procedure which satisfies the quality requirement of the highest degree have been encouraged. In the develoment of the 6500m deep submergence research vehicle "SHINKAI 6500", which is the latest submergence research vehicle following the 2000m deep submergence research vehicle "SHINKAI 2000" in Japan, the investigation in various fields was carried out in order to adopt titanium alloy, which has superior strength/weight ratio, for the pressure hull. The production procedure of heavy thickness and large size plate and forging material, and the fabrication procedure of the pressure hull were investigated by the fabrication of the full scale model made of titanium alloy and by material tests with specimens cut from the model. The collapse behaviour was examined by collapse tests using scale models of titanium alloy and by nonlinear behaviour analysis with FEM procedure. Finally, in order to confirm both the fabrication procedure and design method in total, the cyclic loading test and collapse test using scale model fabricated according to the procedure equivalent to that for the actual pressure hull. This paper presents the design and fabrication of the pressure hull of "SHINKAI 6500".

本稿では阿波踊りの動作の定量評価の一手法を提案する.我々の大学がある徳島県には伝統的な踊りとして「阿波踊り」がある.阿波踊りの基本動作は,手と足の調和,2拍子のリズムに合わせるといったコツがあるが,踊り手の微妙な手足の動き,重心位置の変化,リズム等の違いにより見た人の受ける印象は異なる.本稿では阿波踊りの基本動作をモーションキャプチャにより,計算機に取り込み,踊りのうまさを定量化する手法を提案する.これは,取得したデータ波形とお手本となるデータ波形を比較することで,動作特徴を抽出し,踊りのうまい,へたの評価を行うものである.本稿では更に踊りの名手との比較により,阿波踊りを得点化する実験を示し,本手法の有効性を検証する.

戦後70年,我が国は経済復興を果たし,科学立国としてその地位を確立し,産業基盤および生活基盤となる道路,鉄道,港湾,ダムなどの社会基盤施設整備がなされ,国民は豊かで,便利で快適な生活を享受するまでになった.小学校教育の目標の一つは,「日常生活に必要な国語を,正しく理解し,使用する能力を養うこと」であるが,教材を通して自然科学,社会の発展などについても,関心を持たせるよう配慮するものとされている.その意味で,国民生活の安心・安全の要である社会基盤施設の整備について,初等教育において児童にその重要性を伝えることは重要であると考える.本論文では,戦後日本の小学校国語教科書における「土木とくらし」に係る教材の傾向を示し,課題と提言を述べる.

Artificial fish production is one of the important food supply system in the world. On the other hand, aquaculture has been a pollutant source of natural water environment in no small part. This explanation introduces closed recirculating fish culture system which is expected to develop the aquaculture technology and improve economy further. The system has a lot of advantages including environmental conservation and food safety compared with other aquaculture systems. Furthermore closed ecological recirculating aquaculture system using artificial food chains is explained for the futural situation of aquaculture in space as the derivative technology with our accumulated knowledge on the management of the artificial food chain, rearing systems and postural control mechanism of aquatic animals under various gravity environments. Finally, the direction of future perspective for aquaculture function, technology and economics is discussed from the aspect of eco-engineering.

本稿では,教育におけるゲームの活用について述べた.まず,ゲーミング・シミュレーションという分野の簡単な定義を紹介した上で,教育的活用について検討した.ゲームによって学べることについては多様であるものの,本稿では,主に正解を学ぶこと,問題の構造を学ぶこと,問題意識の共有,感情体験について紹介した.次いで,ゲームで学ぶことの利点を3 点紹介する.それらは,自己効力感を持てる学習ツールであること,問題の構造が学べること,ゲームを作って学ぶことができることである.他方,ゲームが教育現場に導入されるにつれ,その学習効果に対する誤解も少なからず生まれているようにも思われる.それらのいくつかについて取りあげることによって,なぜゲームを教育に活用することが意義のあることなのかについて検討した.その鍵となるのは,「ゲームの勝利条件」であって,これを精査することが,より効果的なゲームの活用につながる.

2000年に販売開始された弁護士費用保険の普及に伴い,その問題点も顕在化してきた。少額事件の増加に関し,対象となる請求権の額に最低額を設けることは保険の対象とする紛争の種類によっては可能と解されるが,自動車保険に関しては示談代行との関係で困難である。濫訴の弊害に関しては,弁護士費用保険の普及との因果関係が明らかでないとの指摘があり,濫訴か否かを保険者が判断する約款の導入も慎重を要する。保険金算定をめぐる紛争の予防には約款に保険金算定基準を織り込むことが有効であるが,約款規定がない場合でも保険者は適正妥当な保険金を算定できると解すべきである。弁護士費用保険に特化した紛争解決機関の設置には,保険業法との関係を考慮する必要がある。弁護士等の事件処理や顧客対応に関する苦情は,弁護士会等が適切な対応をしなければ保険会社が弁護士のパネル化を進める契機となりうる。弁護士費用保険と責任保険の引受保険会社が同一の場合等の利益相反には,指揮命令系統の区別や情報の遮断が必要となると解される。

鍼刺激が大脳皮質血流に及ぼす効果とその反応へのコリン作動性血管拡張系の関与について,とくに前肢刺激と耳介刺激の比較や加齢変化に着目した基礎研究を紹介する.麻酔下の成熟ラットにおいて,前肢足蹠の鍼刺激は血圧上昇を伴って大脳皮質血流を増加させる.一方,耳介の鍼刺激は血圧に影響することなく皮質血流を増加させる.いずれも求心路は刺激部位に分布する体性求心性神経である.前肢刺激による血流増加は,大脳皮質アセチルコリン(ACh)放出増加を伴い,脳内ACh受容体(ムスカリンとニコチン受容体)を介することから,頭蓋内コリン作動性血管拡張系の関与が示唆される.老齢ラットでは,ニコチン受容体(α4β2型)機能が低下するもののムスカリン受容体機能は維持され,前肢鍼刺激による大脳皮質血流増加反応は保たれる.血圧への影響が少ない耳介刺激は臨床適用しやすいと考えられる.
