本研究の目的は、学校週5日制が施行された前後2ヶ年間の子どもの生活構造と余暇や生活に関する意識の変容を分析し、学校週5日制の課題を明らかにすることである。子どもの生活構造の変容を分析するためには、生活時間調査を用いた。この研究で明らかになった諸点は、次のようなものである。(1).ほとんどの子どもが学校週5日制を好意的に評価し、施行1年後には、普通の休みと同じ感覚で受け入れている。(2).日常生活に対する子どもの満足感は、学校生活に関係が深いので学校のカリキュラムや学校生活を、学校週5日制と関連させて検討することが肝要である。(3).約50%の子どもが、学校と社会教育機関が準備した地域の諸行事へ参加していることが、施行後の最も大きな生活変容である。従って、今後は、この地域の諸行事を子どもの余暇活動として定着させることが課題となる。(4).子どもは、余暇で何をし、どうすればいいかという能力を有していることから、子どもを地域行事の企画か運営に参加させることが必要である。そうすることによって、子どもが自立して余暇を過す能力が育ち、同時に学校週5日制が社会に位置づくことになる。

長手記録媒体における記録ノイズは主に磁化遷移領域のジグザグ形状のゆらぎに由来していると考えられる。我々は磁化遷移領域の形状及び形状のゆらぎが再生波形に反映されることに注目し、再生波形の解析をすることにより磁化遷移の形状のゆらぎを評価した。その結果、長手記録媒体において高記録密度で記録ノイズの大小の違いの要因は、主に磁化遷移形状のゆらぎであることがわかった。一方、垂直記録媒体においては磁化遷移のゆらぎがほとんどなく高記録密度で非常にノイズが小さいことと対応している。

We developed a new instrumentation for measuring traveling characteristics of wheelchair and set up running roads with various surface shapes in our laboratory. We measured driving torque and whole-body vibration during running on these road surfaces. Root-mean-square (RMS) values of acceleration vibration were calculated for the three directions according to the ISO 2631 procedure.The driving torque of this system, like a manual wheelchair on the market, increases in proportion to height of steps on the road surface. In steady state running, the driving torque increases in proportion to velocity of wheelchair. The whole-body vibration at the sheet of wheelchair increases in proportion to both the heights of steps on the road surface and the velocity of wheelchair. In both a field and a laboratory, the vertical component of the vibration was greater than the fore-aft or horizontal vibration. The whole-body vibration value of a dummy mounted wheelchair shows a similar tendency to that of human beings. The following expression is derived from the above: this new measuring system is effective in detecting the presence of the vibration and the driving torque of manual wheelchair on various road surfaces.

The Belousov-Zhabotinskii (BZ) reaction is a phenomenon of a nonlinear chemical oscillator. The Oregonator model system with photochemical pathway is a mathematical model of the photosensitive BZ reaction. In the paper, the global well-posedness of this system is shown and to investigate the large time behavior of the solutions the exponential attractor is constructed.

In order to investigate the effect of approach speed upon the manoeuvrability, the manoeuvring test was carried out using a model of container ship with quadruple propellers. From the results, it was made clear that the effect of approach speed upon the manoeuvrability was considerably large, even if the approach speed was less than 0.35 in Froude's Number, and it was caused mainly by the heel of the model in turning. In addition, the effect of initial heel and the number of rudders upon the manoeuvrability and differences of the manoeuvrability between the above-mentioned container ship with quadruple propellers and that of container ships with single, twin and triple propellers, which were previously tested and reported by one of the authors were discussed in this report.

A randomized, double-blind human trial was conducted to assess the effect on the plasma carotenoid concentration of 4- or 12-week astaxanthin supplementation (1 or 3 mg/d) of 20 Japanese middle-aged and senior subjects. The plasma carotenoid concentration was significantly higher after the astaxanthin supplementation than that before in both the 1 mg/d (10 subjects) and 3 mg/d (10 subjects) groups.

The present study examined the relationship between reading comprehension and two processes of the inhibitory mechanism. Forty-six participants performed reading comprehension test and three conditions of the reading span test (RST): distractor, interference, and control conditions. In the RST, participants were instructed to read sentences aloud while holding target words in each sentence. The distractor and interference conditions required the ability to inhibit distractor information in the context, and to suppress no-longer-relevant information within working memory, respectively. The results showed that performance was lower in the distractor and interference conditions than in the control condition, and that reading comprehension score was significantly correlated only with performance in the interference condition, with neither the distractor nor control condition. We conclude that the suppression of no-longer-relevant information contributes to the correlation between the RST and reading comprehension, while two inhibitory abilities play an important role in the RST performance.

従来の会話シミュレーションに基づく英会話学習システムでは,典型的なモデル会話を繰り返すスキット学習が多く,教育的支援は会話中断による教育的対話への切り替え方式が中心であった.この方式は,学習者は受動的な学習を余儀なくされ動機付けの面からも好ましくない.また,会話文脈が固定的であるため,システムのシミュレーション介入による積極的な教育支援も困難である.我々は明示的な教育的対話への切り替えを行わず,学習者に試行錯誤による現実感を伴った学習を行わせる対話グラフによる知識表現を提案する.本知識表現によるシミュレーションでは,学習者主導の対話進行のなかで,システムによる対話進行制御による教育的支援が可能である.本論文では,英会話学習を対象とした環境型知的CAIシステムにおける会話シミュレーションの実現のための,会話の構造化と知識表現について論ずる.

On the design for a fractional rationl function, I compared the algorithm of Davidon Fletcher-Powell with it of Gauss-Newton. In the result, it was found that the first, when the difference of the initial value and the specification was large, was more useful. Now in this paper I deal with an inverse transmission function with a pole on an electric filter as an example of a fractional rational function.

吸血中のフタトゲチマダニ(Haemaphysalis longicornis)より唾液腺を採取してcDNAライブラリーを作成し, ランダムに選んだ発現タンパク遺伝子の配列をblastx (NCBI)等のプログラムを用いて解析した.得られた633配列はその相同性によって, 同一あるいはごく近縁の遺伝子由来と思われる213配列に集約された.全633配列のうち, blastxを用いた相同性検索により発現タンパクの機能予測がなされたものは全体の36%であり, 残りの64%は未知の遺伝子であった.機能が予測されたタンパクの大半は細胞の生存に必要なハウスキーピングタンパクであったが, 血液凝固阻害因子類似の蛋白を含めたプロテアーゼインヒビターやメタロプロテアーゼ, 他のダニで分離されている免疫抑制物質に類似したタンパク遺伝子等も同定された.これらのタンパクはダニの吸血に際し何らかの重要な役割を演じている可能性があり, 新たな抗ダニワクチン抗原の候補となりうると考えられる.

パケット交換型移動通信システムの構築に向けて、スロット付アロハをマルチセル構成に拡張した場合のシステム構成について検討を行なう.マルチセル構成法としては、与えられた帯域をクラスターサイズに分割し,セル間で繰り返し使用する方式がよく知られている.そこで、解析ではさまざまなクラスターサイズのもとでシステムスループットを導出し、各システム性能の比較を行なう.システムとしてはセル間のスロット同期が完全である場合と不完全である場合を扱う.解析の結果、クラスターサイズ1の方式がよい性能を発揮することが明らかになった.また,この方式ではセル間のスロット同期の必要性が大きいことも明らかになった.

文化財の画像アーカイブにおいては,色の正確な保存,再現が重要となる.画像の取得にはデジタルカメラが広く用いられているが,カメラの信号値は人間の知覚色を表すものではないため,正確な色再現のためには色変換が必要となる.従来の手法では,カラーチャートの撮影画像に基づいた色変換を行うのに対し,分光データベースを利用した色再現手法では,被写体の分光反射率特性を反映した色変換を行うため,被写体に応じた最適な色再現を行うことができる.本手法の精度を主観的に検証するため,陶磁器とその再現画像を用いた評価実験を実施した.実験の結果,従来の手法と比較して,本手法では,より高精度な被写体の色再現が可能であることが確認された.Accurate color preservation and reproduction are important factors of cultural heritage image archives. Since color signals recorded by digital cameras, which are widely used for digital image acquisition, are not equivalent to the human perception, color conversion is necessary for accurate color reproduction. Conventional methods utilize a color chart image for color conversion, whereas a color reproduction method using spectra databases realizes superior color reproduction accuracy by incorporating spectral properties corresponding to real objects. An experiment using porcelain samples and their reproductions was carried out in order to visually evaluate the performance of the method. Results show the method is able to achieve more accurate color reproduction than the conventional method.

In our real life, it is well known that our cognitive process is always influenced by our environment. It is called as "context dependency" of the cognition. In this paper, we propose a memory model "PATON" that is based on a macroscopic structure of a cortico-hippocampal memory system; it has three components of a symbolic layer, a pattern layer, and an attentional system. The attentional system sends signals to control a change of the model's structure dynamically. The change induces a modulation of metric between memorized items. Computer simulation shows an association process dependent upon a context based on the modulation.

The bacterial flagellar filament is a helical propeller for the rapid swimming of bacteria. Its gently curved and iwisted tubular structure is made of a single protein, flagellin, by its self-assembly in a helical manner. The mechanism for the formaiion of the left-handed helical tube for swimming and its dynamic polymorphic transition into right-handed forms for tumbling in response to quick reversal of the motor rotation has been revealed in the filament and protofilament structures at atomic detail obtained by convergent application of electron cryomicroscopy, X-ray fiber diffraction and X-ray crystallography with new technological devices in each of these methods.

Get article vise a examiner la fonction normative des image et des textes, en se forcalisant sur le plan de leur transmission. Pierre Legendre a elucide le fonctionnement du mirroir social a partir de la theorie lacannien du Cstade du miroir}) . Selon lui, le miroir n'est pas une prothese, mais un arrangement des image et des textes, dotee d'un pouvoir normatif et identificatoire. Ce pouvoir s'exerce a travers des attachements du sujet a des objets concrets.C'est ce que les semioticien comme Umberto Eco ne comprend pas. Le role de cet "Image-Texte", que Legendre appele "Embleme", consiste a instaurer la transmission de "la pure historicite" (dont parle C.Levi-Strauss dans son essai...) a chaque sujet dans une societe. La transmission, qui fonde la diclectique entre le present et Fabsent sur le mode temporel, n'echappe pas a une incertitude neccesaire. D'ou vient un echec de la transmission, qui pouvrait provoquer une sorte de folie. Mais Cette transmission, a la fois imaginaire et symbolique, ne peut s'epargner de traverser ce processus incertain, hallucinatoire et visionnaire. L'attachement subjectif aux "images-textes" de toutes les sortes se caracterise non seulement par son individuality, son intimite, et sa sentimentalite privee, mais par sa normativite, sa politico-socialite, et sa force religieuse. Nous pouvons le constater, par exemple, dans une resurrection curieuse de l'《Auteur》 chez Roland Barthes qui a du le rejeter hors du texte.
