精神世界(いわゆるスピリチュアル)に関する研究は、島薗進によって提唱された「新霊性運動」を基礎に、宗教・聖地・サブカルチャーなど多岐に渡る分野で論じられ、関係者のブログやホームページ、著書、市場へのアンケートなどを中心に研究されてきた。一方、現地調査にもとづいて調査対象の実態の分析を行った研究は、筆者の知る限り多くない。本論文はこれまでなされてきた文書研究・文書分析や量的調査に、現地調査にもとづく具体的事例を加えることにより、先行研究の補完・発展を試み、精神世界と関わりの深い「宗教」、「心霊研究」、「聖地」、「サブカルチャー」の視座から検証を行って、精神世界に何が起きているのか、より正確な実態に即した理解に寄与することを目的としている。前編ではなぜ質的現地調査が必要なのか論じつつその事例を扱い、後編では引き続き事例を扱いながら現代の精神世界の実態に迫る。

The purpose of this paper is to clarify the locational pattern and locational process of manufacturers' head offices giving due consideration to the relation between head office and plants. The study area is the city of Nagoya.Generally speaking, offices are agglomerated in the central business district of cities. In the case of the manufacturing industry, however, head offices have to control their plants as actual work-sites. Therefore it is better for the head offices to be located with their plants than separately. On the other hand, it is advantageous to locate head offices in the CBD to obtain information related to their business. That is to say, the locational pattern reflects each firm's decision.In this paper, manufacturer's head offices are divided into two locational types, head offices which depend on their plants (D-type head offices) and head offices which are independent of plants (I-type head office).The findings are summarized as follows:1. In considering the location of manufacturer's head offices, it is significant to classify the office into two types (D-type and I-type head offices).2. Concerning the locational pattern, it is true that there are many head offices in the CBD, but many are also located in a wider area of the city. In the CBD, I-type head offices are predominant. And it is evident that the ratio of D-type head officegoes up with distance.3. The ratio of I-type head rises with magnification of their scale. Although the ratio of I-type head office rose between 1972 and 1992, more than 40% of head offices still are located with their plants.4. The firms whose head offices are I-type have allocated their plants more widely in Japan than those whose head offices are D-type.5. In the latter type of firms the plants located with head offices still perform an important role in their production activities.

Clavubicyclone, a novel clavulone-related marine prostanoid, was isolated from Okinawan soft coral Clavularia viridis by our group. To determine the absolute stereochemistry of clavubicyclone, development of the total synthetic route was performed. The key step of our synthetic route was construction of bicyclo[3.2.1]octane skeleton by Cope rearrangement of the divinylcyclopropane derivative. The substrate of Cope rearrangement was prepared from cis-2-butene-1,4-diol as a starting material through carbon chain elongation reactions and the rhodium catalyzed intramolecular cyclopropanation reaction. The Cope rearrangement smoothly proceeded by heating the divinylcyclopropane derivative in diphenyl ether (180 °C) to give the desired bicyclo[3.2.1]octane derivative. We are examining to convert the rearrangement product to clavubicyclone.

Clavubicyclone was isolated from Okinawan soft coral, Clavularia viridis, by our group as a novel prostanoid-related compound. The absolute stereochemistry and biological activity of clavubicyclone have not yet been examined due to small quantities of isolated samples. We recently achieved the total synthesis of clavubicyclone as a racemic form through Cope rearrangement as a key step. However, there are several problems on our previous synthetic route; improvement of the yield of Cope rearrangement and shortening of the relatively longer sequence. To overcome these problems and to achieve an enantioselective synthesis, we examined further synthetic research. Cope rearrangement was proceeded smoothly by changing the stereochemistry of the substrate. We also achieved to obtain an intermediate as an optically active form by using enantioselective Mukaiyama aldol reaction. Introduction of side chains to an optically active bicyclo[3.2.1]octane skeleton is now underway.

By focusing on risk management of trail running events, this study aimed to (a) identify event organizers' risk and risk countermeasures, and (b) examine these relationships between the risk and risk countermeasures. This study conducted semi-structured interviews with six event managers engaged in risk management for the trail running events. The analysis, performed using the modified-grounded theory approach, yielded three risk categories (safety, natural environment, and social risks) and four risk countermeasures (risk avoidance, reduction, transfer, and retention). Notably, safety risk was found to be associated with risk avoidance, reduction, and transfer. By contrast, natural environment and social risks were related to risk avoidance, reduction, and retention. These results offer practical implications for the risk management of participation-based sporting events including trail running events.

会議の記録もiPadの手書きノートを利用すると効率アップできる。紙の資料はiPadにその場で取り込み、全ての記録をiPadで行うと管理もしやすい。今回はiPadを「手書きノート」として使って記録する方法を提案したい。要点をメモするなら手書きノートの方が簡単。記録を省力化した分、会議に集中できて効率的だ。もちろん、詳細な記録を残す方法も紹介する。iPadの標準アプリ「ボイスメモ」は、かなりクリアに録音でき、会議の発言も聞き取りやすい。ボイスレコーダー代わりに使うにはお勧めだ。

本論文では,ネットワークゲーム向け分散型イベント配送方式を提案する.本方式は,ロビーサーバを用いたHybrid P2P の環境で多人数参加型ネットワークゲームを実現することを目的としている.これを実現するため,ゲームで発生するイベントの登録・通知をゲーム領域の分割によってできた部分領域ごとにゲーム参加者の計算機に担当させ,分散処理させる.各領域のプレイヤ数が増加してイベント通知を担当する計算機の負荷が高くなると,複数の計算機からなる負荷分散木を動的に構築し,イベント通知を負荷分散木を経由して行うことで1台あたりの負荷を軽減する.また,負荷分散木上のノードの動的入れ替えによる,エンド・エンドのイベント配送遅延の短縮法,各プレイヤの視界が複数の部分領域にまたがる場合のイベント配送法を提案する.LAN環境で動作するプロトタイプシステムによる実験と,ns-2によるシミュレーション実験を行い,提案手法が現実のネットワークゲームを実現するうえで,実用的な性能を達成できることを確認した.In order to achieve multi-party networked games with lobby server in Hybrid P2P enviroments, we propose a publish/subscribe based distributed event delivery method. In our method, a shared game space is divided into multiple sub-areas and some nodes are selected from all players to deliver game events occurring in their responsible areas to player nodes. This method also includes a load balancing mechanism which allows each responsible node for the crowded area to dynamically construct a tree of multiple nodes and deliver events along the tree to reduce event forwarding overhead per node. We also propose techniques (1) to reduce end-to-end event delivery latency by dynamically replacing nodes in the tree, and (2) to efficiently deliver events to players who have visible areas over multiple sub-areas. Experiments in LAN using our prototype system and through simulations with ns-2, we have confirmed that the proposed method can achieve practical performance for MMORPG.

NF1は多発する神経線維腫を特徴とする遺伝性腫瘍症候群である。神経線維腫は疼痛、機能障害、醜状をきたし患者QOLの低下につながるが、保険診療による薬物治療は現状ない。本邦の患者数は4万人であり、神経線維腫に対する薬物治療、予防治療の開発へのニーズは高い。本研究では、NF1患者の神経線維腫に対する実現可能な新規治療法の基盤データの構築を目指す。経年的に増大、増加する全身の神経線維腫に対して、drug repositioning法により既存薬剤から腫瘍抑制効果を有する候補薬剤を同定し、神経線維腫培養細胞における薬効メカニズムの確認とpreclinical modelにおける抗腫瘍効果の評価・検討をおこなう。

地球近傍小惑星(3200)Phaethonは,ふたご座流星群の母天体であるが,彗星活動は乏しく,彗星と小惑星の中間的特徴を持つ活動的小惑星(あるいは枯渇彗星)と考えられている.また,ふたご座流星群のスペクトル観測から報告されているナトリウムの枯渇及び不均質は,太陽加熱の影響よりも局所的部分溶融を経た母天体の組成不均質を反映している可能性が高い.部分溶融の痕跡を残す原始的分化隕石中に見られる薄片規模(mm-cmスケール)でのナトリウム不均質は,上記の可能性を支持する.従って, Phaethonでは局所的な加熱溶融・分別を経験した物質と,始原的な彗星物質が共存することが期待される. Phaethonは,太陽系固体天体形成の最初期プロセスを解明するための貴重な探査標的である.また,天文学,天体力学,小惑星・彗星科学,隕石学,実験岩石学などの惑星科学の多分野に横断的な本質的課題解明の鍵を握る理想的な天体である.本稿では,小惑星Phaethon及び関連小惑星の科学的意義と探査提案について述べる.

ごみ焼却残渣の溶融施設から排出されるばいじん (溶融飛灰) 中の重金属の安定化手法として, リン酸処理方法について検討した。溶融飛灰原灰および, これにリン酸を添加, 混練りしたリン酸処理灰について, 各種溶出試験によりPbなどの重金属の溶出挙動を調べるとともに, 処理灰の化学形態を調べた。各種溶出試験の結果から, pHや液/固比によらず, リン酸処理灰は原灰と比較してPb, Cd, Zn, CuおよびCaの溶出が抑制されることが明らかとなった。また, リン酸処理灰の形態調査の結果から, 処理灰中には, 化学的に安定な鉱物であるPb5 (PO4) 3Cl (クロロピロモルファイト) が検出された。

対話は対話者同士による協同作業であるため 発話の形式や内容だけでなく 対話の進め方なども話し相手によって大きく異なる. しかしながら 機械である対話システムとの対話においてユーザがどのように振る舞うのか ヒューマンファクタに関する解析は十分とはいえず 頑健な対話システムを開発する際の妨げとなっている. 対話システムにユーザとの対話を通して何らかの課題を解かせ その課題を解くまでの対話量を競うというコンテスト(DiaLeague'97)がWWW (world-wide web)ページを介して行われた. 本稿では当コンテストで得られた対話(728対話)のうち 最も頑健であった対話システムとユーザとの対話(141対話)を中心に分析し 機械である対話システムとの対話においてユーザがどのように振る舞うのか 特に対話システムの頑健性に関する要因に焦点を当て調べた. その結果 (1)ユーザはデス・マス調で発話する (2)ユーザは間接的な発話形式を採用することがある (3)ユーザ発話数の増加にともない 異なり形態素数は対話の順番に関係なく増えているが 発話パターン数はユーザ先手のときの方がハイペースに増えている (4)ユーザはシステムの発話パターンをまったくそのままの形では再利用しない (5)ユーザは文脈から外れた予想外のシステム発話に対しても好意的に振る舞う (6)「わかりません」というシステム発話やシステム発話の反復に対して ユーザは 自分の発話を修正して言い直すことよりも 発話内容そのものを変え まったく別のことを発話する方を好む (7)発話理解や対話処理に失敗したときにはシステム発話の繰返しという対話戦略が有効であるといったことが分かった.A dialogue is a collaboration between dialogue participants. Therefore, identification of a conversational partner influences not only the form and contents of an utterance but also the context and expansion of a dialogue. The human factors in a man-machine dialogue, however, are not obvious enough to understand with regard to how people talk with a dialogue system. DiaLeague'97 was the second dialogue contest in which a natural language dialogue system engaged in a dialogue with a human to solve a specific problem. Each of the dialogue systems that participated in the contest obtained a score according to the amount of dialogue with a contest participant. this contest was held on the WWW (world-wide web) pages for one week, and the five dialogue systems had 728 dialogues with Internet users. We analyzed mainly the 141 dialgues between the users and the robustest dialgue system, and investigated the dialogues at the utterance and dialogue levels. As the results, we found the followings: (1) users talked to a dialogue system in a polite manner, (2) users did not always make a sentence using the direct speech, (3) the number of different words increased similarly either in user first or system first, and the sentence patterns observed in a dialgue were richer in variety when the dialogue began with a user question or request, (4) users were not influenced by system sentence patterns in making a sentence,(5) users did not ignore an unexpected system utterance, (6) users preferred to change the contents of their utterance rather than to express it differently when the dialogue system said "I don't understand," and repeated a system question, and (7) dialogue confusion which was caused by the failure of spoken language understanding and dialogue processing was often recovered by repeating a system question.

近年,ソースコードのデバッグ作業を効率化する自動プログラム修正が注目されている.従来の自動プログラム修正手法では,欠陥が含まれる命令を,ソースコード中の別の箇所に出現する式 (素材コード片) を用いて書き換えることで,欠陥を修正する.したがって,必要な素材コード片がソースコード中に存在しない場合,欠陥を修正できない.本研究では,修正対象システムで特定のコード記述パターンがよく用いられる,という開発者の知見を活用し,事前定義したコード記述パターンに基づき素材コード片を生成する手法を提案する.これにより,ソースコード中に素材コード片が存在しない場合でも,プログラムの自動修正が可能となる.実製品の開発中に検出・修正された欠陥48件に提案手法を適用した結果,既存手法では修正できた欠陥の数が9件だったところ,提案手法では2件増加し11件となった.
